Right off beautiful marina/ dramatic waterfront, central within old town. Stylish & sleek modern design inside. Breakfasts adjacent tasty w omelettes to order & gracious, hardworking staff. Reception people are all really lovely and eager, although language challenges dominated. Pool, patio bar attractive. Some fitness equip outside, facing windows into pool. Truman Capote would approve. Despite some issues, a super value for the price paid. Unbearable heat in Antalya- 40c/105f. AC in room has some automatic shutoffs. Front desk tried, but still occurred. Towel bars & toilet tissue holders kept falling off wall. Taxi told me tourism down 75 pct. i would guess there isn't the money to maintain property or top standards. I had 117. Tight quarters. Probably a 5 star within community, but not by international standards.
Everything! The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. The hotel had a very nice location and only few minutes walking to the main city. Beautiful surroundings and good atmosphere. Relaxing and few kids running around. For people who is not travelling with kids, this hotel Is perfect. It’s quiet and grown up people are staying there.
Kjempefint rom med peis og innendørs jacuzzi. Første etasje, så ingen utsikt! Sikkert bedre rom i annen og tredje etasje, med bedre utsikt.
fin beliggenhet, godt renhold, rolig, ingen støyende trafikk, god mat.
nydelig frokost, hyggelig personell bedre nett.
Ligger sentralt til med muligheter både til strandliv, shopping og kulturliv
location, comfort, very friendly stuff, clean services, cozy, tasty food especially rose jam at breakfast. no iron & iron board, no complimentry tea, coffee and water.
Wonderful location. Very comfortable. Mediterranean suite is rather noisy especially in mornings.
Very beautiful and clean. Central location in Kaleici. Delicious breakfast.
Beautiful and relaxing courtyard with pool. Patio location for lovely breakfast. Room was comfortable and quiet. There was a mix up with our airport pick up and we had to take a cab.
Everything about this hotel was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were huge, clean, and extremely comfortable, and the food was amazing. This was the best hotel we stayed at in all of Turkey. There wasn't anything that we didn't like about the hotel. The only (very minor) critique is that the pool was not heated and as a result, was too cold to even dip your feet into. However, the little courtyard where the pool is located is great for relaxing.
One of the finest experience of our lives! We stayed in the Mediterranian Suite and still can't get over how gloriously compfortable and luxurious the whole experience was. Beautiful decor, amazingly friendly and courteous staff, and a generous and lip smackingly delicious breakfast. The only downside is that this place is so good you may not want to venture out and see Antalya :)
It was one of the most impressive hotel that i've ever stayed in. My room, Harem Suite's decoration was so stylish, also the bathroom's decoration was unique. The staff was always warm, friendly and helpfull. I don't think that i can have a breakfast and also a dinner like that in Antalya. Many thanks to all the staff and i'm sure that i will come back again.
quieteness, rich breakfast, location. They forgot to pick us up at the airport, I had to call them. We waited for more than one hour.
Very nice hotel. Although it is located close to the city center, it is situated in a quiet area of typical Ottoman houses. The suites are lovely and the staff very kind and helpful.
The Mediterranean Suite was awesome. The beds are very comfortable and the shower was impressive. The surrounding community is nice and all of the restaurants we tried were very good at reasonable prices. The pool area is nice too. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The buildings in the hotel is an experience itself. The location of the hotel was excellent. The dinner is above expectations. None
Our delux room itself was nice enough - but Location is very close to the mosque and therefore gets all the noise from there starting before 5 am. Location is some distance from the nicest parts of Kaleici and the harbour. The wifi is the worst we experienced in 3 weeks in Turkey, although it was claimed to be available and the hotel was the most expensive of those we stayed at. We could not get Wifi in the room. Sitting in the heat in the reception area I managed to get their wifi, but it was very weak and kept disappearing altogether. It took us well over an hour to make some necessary travel arrangements that should only have taken us 5 or 10 minutes. Then there was a bit of a hassel getting a printout of a reservation as the reception staff did not have access to a printer !
the design of the course the limited TV channels , most of the channels were in turkish and they offered very limited English movie channels .also the staff do not speak English and they are not prepared to help you to guide you to any tour
Such a cute, adorable little hotel! Perfectly placed in the heart of the old town.
the rooms were comfortable bot there was no safe in the room the evening menu was poor we were served chicken five times in the week and no desert
The fact that I was checking out The bed had bugs there were roaches every where the staff pretend that they did not spoke english, they were rude at times had to practicly beg for the service of a safe that never arrived, the pool was full of dirt and the room was never clean only dusted clean full of bugs. please do not advertise this hotel for a stay.
Solid breakfast and helpful staff. Answered all our questions and even discussed politics without any hurt feelings. Very very tricking getting to location if you're driving yourself with a lot of one way streets. (We had tour guide drivers.) Was not crazy about traditional towel like bed covers during summer, but recognize it is standard here. They did have full blanket in room available.
Wonderful, unexpected, quiet Hotel with Pool in centre of Old City of Antalya. Although inside pedestrian area Hotel helped us move our car to a position outside hotel. Staff could not have been more kind and helpful and the Old City is enchanting
Everything was good No
Situation and comfort of hotel Staff very off-hand and disinterested - evening meal on half board diabolical, only ate there one night.
Location was excellent in the heart of old Antalya convenient for sites harbour shopping and public transport. The room was large and airy and air conditioned. Good swimming pool for cooling off. Manager very helpful. Our stay was limited so can not comment on tours etc
Staying in hotel is rather funny if you are ready for extreme cases or have a nice sense of humor and take your life easy. Like seeing a huge amount of cats in the hotel area is nice, but finding out you are in the same bed with some cats flea is not a good feeling at all. The last day we saw a cockroach running fast from our bed to the bathroom. Hotel stuff can hardly speak English and behave rather rude pretending as if they do not understand you. The other strange thing is they change the price for your staying adding some extra money you have to pay for nobody knows what for.
good location. I made a reservation for 2 sea view Deluxe Room but when I got there there was no room with sea view and the manager of the hotel was surprized when I said I had a sea view room rezervation. Anyway they gave me 2 room one of them s floor was dirty and didnt have tuvalet paper, sampoo ext. the curtain rail was broken and there wasnt aircondition remote control. the second room was on the top floor with just ceiling window but luckly it was clean.
Nice building, well located, comfortable room.
The hotel is very well located, in the heart of the Old town. The Marina, shopping, cafes, pubs, restaurants are all very close with plenty of options. The rooms are basic but clean, comfortable & excellent value for money. The guy at the front desk is extremely friendly & helpful. He gives good advise on places to see & how much to pay for the boat trips etc. Definitely a place to recommend & one I would return to. The breakfast is a little too basic & could be improved upon.
the hotel is located in the very city center (old city center - Kaleci). it is convenient for walks. the room that we had was in the corner of house so we had 4 windows 'with seaview' (actually we didn't saw the sea, cause of hight palms) :) it is possible to park the car nearby for free. but... the hotel is located on a hill and is a bit higher than other building and at night we couldn't sleep cause of disco at the opposite side of harbour. at second night we went to have a walk because it was very noisy (even when we closed all the windows) and we discovered, that in other parts of Kaleci is silence, cause they are hidden in that picturesque streets. so if u have problems with sleep, better choose other hotel, is not - it is ok. the air conditioner in our room was rarity ;) and i was happy that we couldn't find its console. one tip for those, who will come to Kaleci by car: at the entrance there is turnpike and u have 2 choises: to take a ticket and pay or not to take it. the matter is they will ask u to show this ticket when u will go out by car. if u don't have this ticket u must pay 50 Euro. but it is also written, that u can show the paper from the hotel u stayed in with stamp and this will be for free for you :)
The Manager "selim" with very good English speaking was so kind with helping hands in every subject you may think...The old Town "Kaleici" is very beautiful and hotel is near the old eye-catching marina.
Great location and good room size - good value for money
Located inside the historic city with very near access to a small beach cove. The multilingual staff was exceptionally helpful with recommendations and directions. At night the front door is locked and there is no 24/7 reception desk staff, so if you have to check out early be sure to let them know!
bad location (very noisy tonight), not so friendly staff (and do not speak english), lack of refrigerator in the room, breakfast too basic
Very clean, very friendly staff and owner, value for money, well located, quiet, comfortable It wasn't clear that I hadn't paid online when making my booking as I had to give my credit card details and previously when booking through companies on travelsupermarket.com, providing credit card details had meant payment for the hotel was taken in advance. This led to some confusion and I had to call the help number to clarify
Nice and comfort. Rooms Decorations vary from room to room. We have chosen big classic room with sea view, hovewer next to ours 'Osman empire' small room was very nice. Polite and kind staff. Room is heated or cooled according to daily weather conditions. Enjoy! A bit difficult to find the hotel in small down town. Some issues due to hotel staff english is not advanced.
Utrolig sentral og flott beliggenhet! Svært hyggelige og imøtekommende ansatte. En estetisk nytelse. Veldig kaldt på rommet. Maten var så som så.
Plasseringen (roligt, naer stranden osv). Renslig.
Hotellet anbefales! Signalene for trådløst nettverk i svakeste laget inne på rommene. Fungerte bra på balkongen/i uteområdene.
Staff is very kind. I think that the first point to choose a hotel is kindess of hotel staffs. Here is very kind. Hotel owner can not speak english. But his friend can help you.
The staff was very helpful and sincere. They made our stay a very special one. Location and the style of the building contributed to our pleasure. none
Truly helpful and friendly staff, rooms are cozy and beautifully designed. Good location in the beautiful Kaleici region, although quite far from the Konyaalti beach, there is a nice small beach at about 10min walking distance or you can take the tram to Konyaalti. Beautiful garden with a lot of different plants (all are tagged with a description), a joy to have breakfast in.
Fantastic restoration; Tasteful Breakfast; Beautiful garden and architecture; Extremely god taste in decoration an design; Discrete but very friendly owner and personal (even the dog was very friendly)!
The old Ottoman house is beutifully and tastefully decorated and the fruit trees in the back yard provide an ideal setting to relax. The room was large and comfortable and excellent value for money. Great breakfast. ! All was good...except the empty plot on the opposite side of the road being used as a rubbish dump.
The atmosphere of hotel especially the garden is amazing.Rooms are modern and comfortable.Breakfast was delicious and rich.Staff is friendly and helpful.Suitable place who wants a relaxing and calm accommodation . . .
Absolutly nothing. The hotel is small but perfect.
Rooms were fine, staff friendly and extremely cooperative considering our tight schedule. Would be happy to stay there again.
The room was spacious and very tastefully furnished in traditional style with a modern bathroom, both spotlessly clean. Breakfast was served in the shady walled garden where there were also sunloungers and comfortable chairs and a swing seat. The owner could not have been more helpful, providing us with maps, information and advice. The beds, though firm and otherwise comfortable, sloped slightly but perceptibly into the middle. The only other drawback, and I imagine this applies to all pensions and hotels in Kaleici, is that noise from the bars in the harbour area continues until the early hours of the morning and despite having well-fitting windows and shutters it was impossible to shut it out completely.
Service, atmosphere, architecture, setting, breakfast
The pensıon has a quıet locatıon and a lovely garden where you can relax. No
I stayed at another pension in Antalya but for a few euros more the Ninova was well worth it. Staff very helpful
The nice old atmosphere of the building, combined with modern services. The nice staff and the beautiful garden.
good location, clean rooms, friendly helpful staff breakfast is not bad but would be better (better quality honey, olives and yellow cheese)
The staff were helpful, the room was lovely, the garden was beautiful. I liked the small terrace on the first floor, and the terrapins in the garden pond. The cats were great characters too, but no problem. Breakfast in the garden was very pleasant.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was well designed and kept clean. The food was lovely. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay.
good hotel with a good welcome from the staff -
Very friendly staff, great location, excellent breakfast.
New hotel, clean, good bath room, TV with lots of channels, friendly and helpful staff. Nothing
The young man at the front desk during our stay couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel itself is located in the old town in a beautifully renovated building which is a couple ofhundred years old and has a wonderful atmosphere. We would happily return here for a longer stay.
it's located in central area The staff does not speak english. Room cleaning service very poor or absent at all. The staff is absolutely disinterested in satisfy guest needs.
We liked the quietness of the location of this hotel and the proximity to the bazaars and the harbour. The food in the restaurant was very good and service was quick.
Hotel was very peaceful and calm atmosphere. The staff are first rate, nothing was too much trouble. Perhaps a little more choice for evening meal as opposed to just one choice.
The staff and the environment in the courtyard. The standard rooms are small.
Lovely location but tired facility. Extremely pleasant and obliging staff. The owners should give management the goal to at least fix all the loose locks, dangling wires, cracked garden lights and wobbly fans before attacking the out of date and rusty shower stalls and unacceptable common usage washrooms of the restaurant as just a few examples. A potentially perfect place with minimal investment and a possibly outstanding facility with a modernization of the rooms. Will be back after the former is completed.
Dogan Hotel is one of the best places in the old center of Antalya. The rooms are good, the swimming pool and garden are nice. The food is ok. Only problem is mixing the hot and cold water correctly in the shower due to low pressure of the hot water. Tricky handling hot water.
Great value for money. Cleanliness fantastic.Nice to sit in the garden eating breakfast. The bed was really comfortable.Very good location for shopping, beach and the old town. It was very much sound from other rooms above, especially from the bathroom when the neighbours were flushing the toilet and taking a shower, but also walking and talking. Low respect for time at breakfast, when it start at 7.30 a lot of food were missing and it was made one hour later....
Great location; lovely relaxing pool area (much bigger and secluded than other hotels in the area); excellent housekeeping and cleanliness. Restaurant/ service staff speak very little English and you have to seek them out when you want something - they always seem very busy doing nothing! Restaurant prices are expensive.
Kind of oasis from the bustle of the Antalya old town, beautiful pool area and alfresco dining. Problems with the hot water over 2 days. Seemed quite a bit more expensive than old nearby places, but hard to compare.
All is bad , the beach was far from the hotel ,no minbar in the room (frigrator, tea -coffe maker) bad reakfast. Every thing is bad
Helpful Staff; Good Ambiance;
Beautiful hotel in great location. Nice pool, bar and buffet available if you want it.
the staff were very helpful. I enjoyed my stay there in the beautiful gardens.
Tranquil bar/restaurant in gardens in the heart of the city and large, comfortable room Had to hire and follow a taxi to it in the warren of one-way streets in order to find it
The room was nice, although a bit hot in the evening as the windows faced sun set. The pool is good and the garden large enough to relax. Dinner and breakfast were ok, but could have been better. Regulating the hot water in the shower is very tricky: either very hot or very cold. Finding the sweet spot (not too far open) is difficult.
service wireless internet is not goog
middle of town. easy for shopping. close to marina, boat trip to water falls. for decent resturants you have to go to the old antalya. Very nice hotel, staff good, but there is some communication problem between their staffs. we payed at the reception for buffette dinner but the resturant staff kept asking if we have paid? Also they keep coming and checking on your table which makes you feel as if you have done something wrong. The beds were very hard to sleep on, all our backs were aching. Need more softer mattresses.
this is an international class hotel that offers high quality in spa relax ,breakfast is realy amazing and offers a wide range of food,i can recomend this hotel to everybody and will surely book again, even more every time when i will be in antalya i will take this hotel.
Hotel was at walking distance from the old town, value for money
Very nice friendly place. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. Directions. Could not find the place using my SatNav. Even asked a few people including a Taxi Driver who didn't know of the place. I even gave him the address/
room and breakfast bathroom
What I liked best about this hotel was the people. The staff at the front desk were very nice to us. Sida, the sales manager, was genuinely warm and friendly to us. Mehmet was also very courteous and helpful in providing us with information about the area. I'd like to return one day.
