The friendly staff - housekeeping (Amal), boutique (Ilham) and restaurant in particular. Pool not heated. No shuttle service to town centre. Baggage forgotten about on last day - left at room door from 11 am to my departure at 4 pm: could have been stolen or touched. Not transported to my room on arrival, although my baggage was. I had to return to Reception because my card key didn't work, so that was 3 trips from Reception to room 3108, when I was already very tired - I arrived at 7pm!
Layout and the territory Substandard service for a five star hotel. The guests are charged for absolutely everything and these charges are unreasonable. The SPA facilities and the service are appalling and much overpriced. This is the first 5 star hotel we stayed in where we were charged £20 for a basic finish sauna and where used water from the pedicure was brought into visitors’ changing rooms and flushed down the sinks in front of you!! Overall it is a pretty hotel with beautiful views of the ocean, however it is very poorly run and for the same money you will have a better experience elsewhere.
Good beds, quiet, nice swimmingpool and beautiful beach with facilities in front of the hotel (private beach) Ridiculous that you have to pay almost € 30 to be able to use the internet during 24 hours which meanwhile is even slow...
The outdoor facilities were excellent, really friendly and helpful staff, the rooms might need a bit of updating to equal standard with the hotel facilities (E.G. swimming pool, beach, restaurants) As mentioned above, the rooms weren't as great as the rest of the hotel.
From my POV, the territory is the best what this hotel has - very stylish, plenty of space, several swimming pools. Taking into account that this is some sort of business hotel, there are not many people during the day outside, while in the evening the hotel has very lively atmosphere. Please those who wants to book standard room - be aware that it overlooks whether constraction or the other hotel (window-to window). And only the most expensive rooms have the balcony. The other shortcoming - that it took very long time for stuff on reception to response to our simple requests - very often they just ignore us (obviously - not the level of the luxury hotel)
This hotel is absolutely beautiful - even more so than the pictures indicate! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, services were fantastic, and location was very good. There were a couple of time periods during the day when its difficult to get anything to eat (even a small snack) - with young children this was a little difficult. Perhaps having a few more snack items for sale in the gift shop would help. Also, as this area of Agadir is still being built the hotel was a little far from any other shops (although, admittedly, that is also part of the appeal)!

The staff were very friendly and helpful on all matters; Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool and surrounding facilities were exceptionally comfortable and the location was beautiful. Highly recommended.
Pleasant and helpfull Staff, Easy to Relax around the hotel, pool, garden and the beech area, Food was expensive therefore we would eat out.
hammocks in the yard room was smaller then i expected. also had to change the room after check-in since i was ordering kingsize bed but reception gave me twin.
We were treated like a king and a queen. The staff were amazing The room was a little outdated, but that did not take from our enjoyment.
Nice welcome. Huge hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Very large swimming-pool. Casino, restaurants, live music, night club. Wireless internet.
Spa facilities and staff Rooms were very basic and did not live up to rest of hotel facilities. Over priced throughout, eg 3.50 Euro for a can of coke?
The garden view . 1.The bussines center there are only 3 computers and it always full with kides . 2.when we check in the beds were used and not clean . 3. the room servicse dosnot work after 10 pm and thay charege you 295 DHM for every room service . 4. there are no inaf parking . there is no wireless in the rooms . 5. the staff are not kindy and is talking to much .
Pool is big. Staff was incredibly rude. From room service to check out. Very ignorant and disrespectful. Waiters at restaurant have zero knowledge. Food was bad and all three times they tried to over charge us. When we corrected them they got mad, as if we were mean or stupid for wanting to pay the price on the menu. Watch out for "city tax" 20euros more than hotels.com said I should have to pay.
The rooms were spacious comfortable. Staff were helpful and service excellent. I've stayed many times in Agadir, each time at different hotels but this is the hotel I will return to on my next visit. The only down side to the hotel is the lack of outdoor breakfast tables. Taking a holiday in Agadir where the sun shines from early morning it would be a novelty and advantage for those from less sunny climes to enjoy breakfast outdoors on holiday.
The pool and the spa was very relaxing and that is where we spent most of our time. Took us 1hr to get a room after being changed twice. The maintenance of the hotel is very poor. I would not give it a 5 star rating.

Paradis Plage lives up to its name. It is a slice of heaven away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. The grounds are idyllic. The scenery could not be more pristine. The rooms are quite large, super comfortable, and have spectacular views. They have a fabulous fitness facility and beautiful yoga studios. And the entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The manager, Ali, is a pleasure and made me feel totally at home. They even sent me a beautiful and delicious fresh fruit plate on my last night. I wish I could have stayed here much longer. The only drawback is the food I found to be hit or miss. The salads were my favorite and the best value for the money. But overall, I would recommend this hotel most highly. I would absolutely come back!
The hotel's proximity to the beach. Pretty much everything about the hotel was very disappointing. Our room (room 534) smelled like urine during the whole stay, the room conditions were dreadful (old rugs, worn-out blankets, broken fixtures...etc.), we didn't have any hot water in rooms 534 (the first day) and 322 (the third day), room 322 totally lost tv and phone signals on day 3 (we had to call the reception 4 times to get it fixed), the line for breakfast was always very disorganized. The building is old and doesn't have any elevators, which can be a big problem if your room is on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The rooms are way over-priced considering the quality of service. This hotel is definitely not a 4-star hotel... Honestly, I wouldn't even give it a 3!!
Very opulent and luxurious hotel. The Spa is amazing and the Morrocan restaurant was superb. Some of the staff were a bit "difficult/attitudey" (even in French) bringing the wrong bottle of wine and arguing back when they were clearly in the wrong. One of the waiters at the pool lied to us saying the bar was closed when it clearly wasn't. Luckliy his colleague was more helpful. Many of the sun loungers by the pool looked stained and unclean, which is unacceptable at these prices. The buffet by the pool was awful and very bad value (London prices for food that had been on a hot plate for over three hours). Not sure how Sofitel figured they could get away with this in a five star resort.

Hotellet har en flott beliggenhet like ved stranden. Rommene er store og komfortable med en romslig veranda. Det var godt trykk på vannet på badet. Dessuten var det ingen problemer med varmtvannet. Frokosten kunne ha vært bedre. Litt dårlig utvalg av pålegg. Glad vi ikke hadde all inclusive på hotellet, da maten virket ensformig.
Meget vennlig mottagelse, de hotellansatte gjorde alt for at oppholdet skulle bli vellykket. Fantastisk service i bar & restaurant. Menyen var variert og smaksrik med godt utvalg av gode marokkanske viner. Til slutt må vi også skryte litt av en liten, men behagelig spa i kjelleren. Her får du en deilig behandling til meget hyggelige priser sett med norske øyne. Nei
