My room was very nice and had everything I needed for the week. I had a fully size fridge, microwave two desks and a separate room. It was nice to walk outside the hotel and be directly on the Riverwalk with great restaurants like Macy's, Ritas on the River and Iron Cactus just a few steps away. In the evening the hotel offers three free adult beverages with "snacks" but it could easily be a meal. We had chicken strips, salad, pasta and a baked potato available most evenings. The Air Force sends me here for training once a year and I look forward to staying at the Drury Plaza., My dresser was difficult to close, but it didn't bother me enough to report it until I checked out. No other complaints at all.
Enjoyed the kickback and proximity to riverwalk. they charged my card $482 dollars for parking when it was only supposed to be $46. Took them a week to refund the money and then they still charged me for the parking!! What a joke! Where is the coustomer service?
Love the fact that from the time you pull in till the time you leave the staff takes all the stress out of your stay. Also love that you can walk right out the doors and your on the river walk. The only complaint is there is no hotel shuttle to area attractions.
Being an Onmi hotel I had much higher expectations. It was very dark, although they wanted a certain style (not sure exactlybwhat it was, old, Mexican, historic) they didn't pull it off very well. The carpets were dirty and dull, the room was musty and very dark. The staff was very friendly, the location was prrfect, right in the heart of the fun, the bed was very comfortable and the towels were nice.
The location, the staff, the great breakfast, and comfy room Nothing
The construction limited the entrance to a single, slow, temporary, small elevator to the check-in counter on the second story. Hotel services were limited to a makeshift bar and restaurant.
We enjoyed everything about our stay. The hotel is beautiful, and our room was wonderful. The service was great, and overall the hotel met all of my expectations.
The room was over priced . The a/c didn't work well in the room. The hotel charge me $75 each day without telling me for incidentals , that I didn't even use . I won't be back
Clean, decor it No complimentary breakfast?
The bathroom looked old was dingy I felt like I was going to fall through the tub. The pictures look a lot better than the actual room. There was a strange smell in the room. I requested a river view and I would not classify that room as a river view room. I would not stay at this hotel again
Pool was a bit dirty
$70 for overnight parking? In the same hotel you booked the rooms? That is ridiculously expensive.
The location was great, not right in the busiest part of the Riverwalk, but for the price it was a pretty short walk! The pool was small but nice. The rooms seemed fresh and new-ish. The staff was friendly and helpful. No free breakfast and the Coke I bought in the lobby cost $3, but for the price I paid for the room that wasn't a HUGE deal. The parking cost extra but that is normal for hotels on the Riverwalk.
The staff initially was friendly and courteous but eventually that was not the case. The staff we not able to fix the problems with the rooms. They were rude and annoyed with our multiple calls for assistance just getting into the rooms due to the door not accepting any of the 9 cards that were created for the one room. I would do a trip to a holiday Inn again, just not this location
Convenient location Musty odor in the room.
My room was dirty. There was a pair of men's shorts left in night stand from a previous guest. Bathroom was dirty. Bathtub was dingy. Dust built up on wall board and on side tables.
By far the best hotel and spa in San Antonio. Extremely polite and helpful staff.
Very friendly and helpful staff The jack hammering and the broken elevator were a pain. The hotel lobby was under construction. Our view was of a boarded up building and a bank parking garage.
The bed was very comfortable, and room levels were secured with key cards, staff was friendly No parking, 31$ for valet is ridiculous, no complimentary breakfast, tiny pool seemed a little dirty and hot tub was out of order the entire time. We opted for Marriott for the service, this is the first Marriott I've booked that didn't have breakfast included. The bistro was over priced and mediocre food.
It was right on the riverwalk. The maid never cleaned the room. When we got their the shower was dirty and the whole time we were their no one cleaned it. The pictures online made the room n pool look a lot bigger then what they really were.
