I liked that it was close to my job interview and was affordable. I didn't like the customer service, the staff assistance, room had flies, my rooms keys did not work, I had to wait over 30 minutes to get into my room because my keys didn't work, the manager made me walk back and forth with my luggage because he said he was too busy to fix my key issue at my room, the stay was unpleasant and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The price of $45 per night is definitely reflected in the way the hotel is managed and maintained. The staff tells you what you want to hear just to get you out of their face and never resolves your complaints No hot water in the shower some days, no refrigerator in the room, running toilets broken sink handles, jacuzzi didn't work, pool was ice cold
Facilities are outdated, no working elevators, lobby is on next hotel but poorly indicated, when we get to the room, there was no towels and had to call to get some stained old ones..
The location had good proximity to restaurants and attractions. The dead bolt lock on our room door did not work and all the room doors lead directly to the outside like a motel. There was clear evidence of a previous forced entry through our room door. You can hear everything around you through the walls and room entry. People talking, luggage being rolled, kids running around, leaf blowers blowing. There was also standing water in the shower, shower knob didn't work great, linens feel like hemp, and most of all the room door that doesn't lock!
Location was great! Room was clean. No hot water, no towels. Moved to another room, still not hot water. Staff was overwhelmed.
The YMCA No washcloths, staff act like they didn't know what was going on, constantly changing front office staff, maids were rude
the fact that this hotel was right across from the eye of orlando, and close to universal studios. i was given a 10$ starbucks coupon for the hotels lobby cause of my no hot water problem. parking, NO Hot Water... the handle was broken so in the shower all you could have was cold and colder. when checking in the customer service was not great seeming how it took a half hour to check me in for something so simple, the fact that you have to keep checking your phone while checking in customers, come on dude...
Lack of towels and washcloths. Several nights without either.
I enjoyed the location, it was close to a lot of places that were walking distance. Things not working in the room, after asking for it to be fixed and not resolving the problems. Housekeepers just walking in your room. No hot water when showering. Front desk seem to have a attitude while checking in. Toilet was hard to flush and dirty walkways.
The location to many attractions was appealing. Had to move out of 1st room as a/c didn't work. 2nd room we moved to wasnt much better. The shower handle was broke and was set to hot water. The bathroom door looked like someone left their dog in there and it shred the door pretty good. The blankets were stiff and the room smelled very musty. The a/c didn't cool off the room until the middle of the night. The pool is a long way away and there was NO ice machines in the building. You had to go to the hotel next door! Do not waste your money.
Pool and location Rooms, first room had no hot water and AC was broken these are just the major issues. We were given a comp and room change. The second room had a bad smell of mold so we had to keep the door closed at all times. Check in location was difficult to find.
Entire room was very clean, with no surprises anywhere. No mildew in the bathroom at all. I would rate breakfast as mediocre. It would have been better if the a/c, heat unit would run the fan all the time, as there were numerous interruptions through the night from outdoors- like the garbage trucks picking up from neighboring business at 3:30 am.
Breakfast was nice Slow internet speed
Convenient to pick up city bud, trolley, or go on foot to convention center, eateries and shopping. Small room, not enough lighting, rattling fan when switching on bathroom light. I was on ground floor, next to outside ice machine. If you go to bed early or want to sleep past 6:09 AM, try to get a different location.
The Location. There was a construction site across the building and it was a lots of dust in the air.
I liked the Very clean room comfortable bed, The guy at check in desk was very friendly and informative about the complimentary shuttle to Disney world and universal Orlando and about where we could have breakfast the next morning. Was a Great experience!
Room was clean and comfortable. Near a lot of things to do including the Sleuth's Dinner Theater and CSI exhibit. Narrow walkways to upper level rooms. Timeshare salesperson in lobby.
Very nice and accommodating staff. Furniture and rugs need replacing. Breakfast area crowded and breakfast items limited and not well maintained. Pillows terrible. Did not have a clean feel. In need of major rehab.
Reasonable Price. Great location. Comfort, Cleanliness, Above Expected Level of Service, Pool and Pool Side Equipment Was In Good Condition. Can't think of a single thing.
The room was clean. Free parking, free breakfast. There was a large refrigerator and microwave in the room. Restaurants within walking distance. Shuttles to parks and the conference center. Great value.
Associates were pleasant and helpful The room was mostly clean especially at eye level but a little lower (baseboards) and corners were less clean and I came across 2 bugs in a 2 night stay
My children love the Mickey Mouse waffle iron at breakfast! We stay at this hotel every time we travel to Orlando, mostly for this reason! The complementary breakfast is great, and the hotel is on walking distance of some great restaurants. We had a little trouble with the AC this time--we were either too hot or too cold--no in-between.
It had all the right features like Fridge, Microwave, shuttle to parks etc. Very Dated property. Sheets were very old. Bath tubs was cracked. Shuttle to universal parks was very limited.
The room was clean and we'll msintained. Breakfast was not complimentary but it costed me 8 dollars for a buffet which was the worst I ever ate in Orlando with limited items and tasteless food.
Room was a great size, bedding was luxurious. Neighborhood surrounding resort was excellent. Lots of top-quality local & chain eateries, plus shopping, all in safe, open area marketplace setting. Quiet at night, great for families, business & singles. I was extremely impressed. The in-house bar & grill was being renovated. It looked to be a fun watering hole; I was disappointed I couldn't get a cocktail/snack on arrival.
Location was great convenient and good restaurants close by
I had 2 rooms. The room keys deactivated after 10pm on the same night of checkin. They ran out of towels. They didn't have any face rags. They also didn't have any lotion or conditioner and when asked at the front desk for these items, was told to purchase them from the gift shop. Was just an overall unpleasant experience and WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN.
Location was great, felt safe in hotel, was over all clean Beds are hard as a rock. Need some updates just typical things. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner they don't leave you any.
Proximity to the YMCA and restaurants Floors smelled like smoke, breakfast -not very much fresh food, keys had to be replaced many times.
I liked how the rooms looked. The location was excellent it was close to everything. The hotel was very clean. 1St off when i got there to check in they couldn't find my reservations, after waiting for 45 mins they were finally found. I was put into a room i left to go to a football game i made it back about 11:30pm i was wondering why my key wouldn't open the door so i went to the front desk to only be told that as soon asi left they rebooked my room and gave it to someone else then moved me to another room that was stanky old and dirty. After about 20 mins of the manager sitting there saying she was gonna throw us out of the hotel because i was pissed she finally put us in a better room
Room was clean Front desk staff were rude. Never heard of early check in fee @ 2:00 in afternoon. Upon check out there was no staff @ counter at all.
The bathroom was nice and large. Comfy. Clean, ac worked well hot water was nice. They allow the delivery drivers to bring the food to your door. Restaurant within walking distance. Walls were thin. Had to ask for towels. Park shuttle only run once. So you have to go and come back when they do so forget being at the park after dark. Free breakfast was just toast and juice, not exaggerating here the set a loaf of bread out. There's a fee for aminities. Parking is a mess, it's free but it's all over not convient for your room location. Staff was indifferent.
Proximity to Attractions and restaurants. The hotel is very outdated. One of the two elevators wasn't working. It was 4th of July weekend and the place was slammed. We only had 2 towels In the room when we finally made it up there. Housekeeping phone was busy all night. We ended up going to the front desk, and they only gave us 2 bath towels. They were out of all other types of towels, so we didn't have any hand towels or bath mat, etc. We asked for an extra set of sheets. They were out of those too. Our room was not cleaned the following day. They just dropped off another set of towels. For as busy as the hotel was, and the amount of money that they are making, they should have been better prepared and it should have been cleaned. The staff was friendly, but clearly overwhelmed. It's just mind blowing to me that a city that relys on its tourism business doesn't make more of an effort to keep 'em coming back. I, for one, will not be going back. I wasn't expecting much, as we were only going to be in there to shower and sleep, but at the very least expected it to be clean, and provide us with clean towels. Very disappointing considering it's part of the Radisson chain.
Our family couldn't call us, as there is no phone number for the resort listed anywhere that they could find
The hotel is in a great location The 4pm check in
We got a really cheep deal so for the money worth it. Location was great lots to do, eat and enjoy in the area. Staff was friendly. Convient to Univerasal and SeaWorld. Breakfast was good included some hot options. Bedding clean and comfortable. All in all our stay was good. The hotel really could use a remodel, a bit run down. The fridge was noisey. Transportation to parks only limited times. Best to have a car. This is not a top of the line hotel don't expect that.
Breakfast was surprisingly good, Location was nice, There was a stain on my sheets, facilities looked quite unkempt,
It was a little cheaper than other options. First room smelled like mildew. Tub looked like it had been painted with a roller and never cleaned. Air conditioner looked ancient with rust all over it.We asked to move and they did move us. Second room was better but had an underlying funky smell. Woke in the morning to take use the pool and found a dead rat floating in it. Next time I'll pay more money and stay without the mildew and rats.
The guy at the front desk was really nice. That was the only thing that was good about this hotel actually. Everything. Walked into the room and smelled like must and mold. Carpets were dirty I didn't even want to take my shoes off. The door had rust and corrosion on the inside (had holes from the rust). Went to shower and the "clean" towel had hair in it. Ended up checking out after an hour and getting a refund. I can't believe such a dump exists right next to the convention center on busy I-drive. I would never stay here again.
Good location Made a reservation at this "hotel" for a King room. When I checked in, they gave me a queen. To call this a "hotel" is a stretch, even when it was new, which was a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Now, it is no better than a roach motel. The room was disgusting. There was literally mold on the walls everywhere. There was evidence of water damage everywhere. In the hallway, they had just slapped some wallpaper back up to cover up some water damage. There was not enough parking. The parking lot was completely full and we had to park at a hotel next door. They were completely unapologetic that they did not have the bed I requested. And the pictures... yeah, they aren't this hotel, at least not without some serious photoshopping. BUYER BEWARE!
Nothing Worse ever came a few hours after check in and they already sold my room; tried to say I had to be there by check in because it's spring break and that I couldn't get my refund for no shows ..... Had to get a manager and that refund was done
Tiny room adjacent to the elevator meaning non-stop sound of whirring motors for the entire stay. Dark stains on walls, wall outlets exposed, loud cleaning staff yelling to each other outside the room in the early morning, cheap small-ish bath towels, luke warm max temp water in the shower. Should I go on?
Location, parking, service and price Maybe you can work on a sensation of humidity when you enter your room, perhaps could be the rug. Other than that everything is just fine.
breakfast was good and nice staff. Excellent location. The room always smelled like it was holding humidity. Not enough towels and we were two.
close to universal studios, friendly helpful staff, quick check in & out. Solid clean sleep, thank you. It's all good! Pool may need cleaning, but we didn't swim. The water looked dark glancing over the fence.
The sheets looked white Was bitten 6 times each night we stayed there. I believe they were bed bugs but my wife from Texas believes they were small roaches. All I know is that I was bitten multiple times in the same area each night. Do not stay here unless you like being bitten by bugs in your sleep. We also saw small roaches in the bathroom. Both nights. Even after removing the ones we saw on the first night. The first room they gave us smelled badly of wet dog. Then we complained and got bugs. Just stay somewhere else.
Bed was comfortable room was clean but furniture was very old and had seen better days Bathroom had very strong mold odor and it was very tiny with poor water pressure. The air conditioner made loud cranking noise every time it turned on and lasted for about 10 seconds so it would wake you up all night long
The location was perfect. I was there for a trade show at the Convention Center, so was in very close proximity to that and a number of restaurants. Given that it is right on International Drive, practically every type of cuisine that you'd ever want is represented nearby. I'm unsure if all of the rooms are the same, but I had a one-bedroom suite overlooking the pool. I liked the fact that the bedrooms were in the interior so you don't really hear any activity happening outside at the pool or the hot tub. The hotel pretty much had everything: pool, workout facility, bar, continental breakfast, small sundry store - and if you need anything else, there's a Walgreen's within a 5 minute walk. The room was very clean on arrival, and bed made up on a daily basis. Also two flat-screen TVs are nice: one in the living area, and one in the bedroom. Nothing that I didn't like - but the room was fairly straightforward. It's not plush by any means, but has everything you need. Only thing that was a minor inconvenience was that the nightstand has outlets built-in, but then it wasn't plugged into the wall outlet, and upon trying couldn't get it to plug in. Unsure why.
Clean, Friendly good location on I Drive
+Excellent location on the Internation Drive, close to the new Orlando Eye and Aquarium +Very good service from the receptionist, who called us to let us know our room was ready +Free parking +Great shuttle service to Univversal +On-site concierge for ticket booking -Slow elevators, in need of replacement (but management knows, which is why they are currently replacing them, one at the time) -Gaming room with arcade was smallish and offers no value -Gym is way too small -We needed to rent a car, management made us work with a company located miles from the hotel, when there is one next door (but probably not affiliated with them)
Close to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Aquatica, Sea World, and shopping places. The room service is not good. On two occasions we ordered food and they were out of the items. There is laundry only on the top floor and only one of the 2 washers was operating. Once we found a cockroach in our bags. The breakfast is good but is exactly the same everyday so you tend to get tired of it.
Lots of places to eat nearby from fast food to fancy Wi-Fi works the best in the "living room" of the suite. Very spotty in the bedroom, so if you like to work on your laptop while laying in bed, probably not going to work well.
Location Our room was not to par. Very disappointed.
Overall nice hotel. Rooms were decent size & well maintained. The lobby, elevators and such are a little outdated but decent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is right off the interstate and close to many restaurant options.
Everything about the hotel was fine for the value, but the smell in the room. There was a terrible musty smell in the room. The dresser drawers smelled so bad that I would not stow my clothes. Nothing could take out the smell, even a special machine. I was concerned about my health since there must be mold somewhere. We had family members also in a room on the 5th floor and there room smelled the same.
