friendly staff, excellent location, good breakfast buffet The room was smaller then i expected.
clean, better than a normal 3 star hotel. Large room and bathroom, but breakfast needs some improvement. For the money we paid, this is good enough. location...hard to find the hotel. There are signs all over the places. Once you realize this, it was easy to spot.
value for money ! excellent breakfast. Although in the city centre, easy accessible via het parking (which is cheap for overnight stay)
It's located in the very center of the town, they offered to change my room immediately when i asked it, polite staff and receptionists Everything was out of order (satTV, Saunas), the tradition room was tiny and changed it. Poor quality breakfast although there was a good selection
Good choice and value for the money.
staff heplfulness, the hotel position too small double bed
Great hotel, except for the shower shield... As it often happens, the glass shield for the shower was too small... It's almost impossible not to flood the room while showering!! Architects never take showers!
Central, easy to find, good parking facilities
Location Very poor room noise
The hotel had a good central location, and the room was good value for money.
Housekeeping made each day, towels and sheets changed everyday, really pleasant and efficient staff. Central situation of the hotel in the heart of the town, excellent insulation from noises of the city, thanks to efficient great windows. The breakfast is worth spending 6,15 EUR. (price of septembre 2015) Nothing i can remember.
Pool, friendly helpful staff Bar prices ridiculously expensive - oddly enough no-one seemed to be in there.
The hotel is well finished and appears to be relatively new. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent meal in Bistro Flo. Very nice rooms No.
The hotel is new and the pool is good. The decor is colourful. The reception staff are welcoming and helpful. There was not much choice for restaurant and room service. The service involved was sometimes slow. The hotel needs to have more information for guests so they can make use of services.
Good and hosting staff, swimming pool open until 10 PM, balanced restaurant service. Close to Highway. No frigo bar at the room at all!
Nice and pretty small business hotel. Perfect locations for business in Alsace. Cool swimming pool, should be a bit warmer anyway. My booking.com reservation was not found it. I had to stay one night in a smooking room....no good.
brand new hotel ... well equipped rooms, free internet below standard front desk, strange pricing strategy ... 89 EUR as advertised on booking.com seemed below hotel policy. Hotel does not acknowledge requests made during reservation. Not the HI experience as we are used to.
Room was very clean and comfortable. Room also had a kettle (tea and coffee but no milk) and a little fridge. The restaurant staff were very friendly but the service was very slow. The breakfast staff were absolutely appalling. When we arrived for breakfast there was no one to seat us. Not one member of staff replenished the food when the container was empty. No coffee, no bread no sausage eggs or bacon. The cheese looked as if it had been out for several hours and was inedible. When I complained I was told the cooked breakfast was not self service and you had to ask for it. So we did and we still did not get the cooked breakfast that was advertised. The scrambled eggs were served cold the "bacon" was incredibly salty parma ham and the sausage, and fried tomato did not exist. I complained again and expected to get the breakfast I had paid for but all I was told was they would make a note of my complaint!
Easy parking €15,00 for a breakfast is far to expensive.
Perfect located in city center, but still very quite location. Perfect breakfast buffet.
Location was convenient; staff was particularly helpful Carpet in room (213) was threadbare and badly needed to be replaced
The art deco styling of the hotel and the staff were very helpfull and pleasant No tea making facilty in the rooms, and a very small room with the bare minimum provided couldn,t get a meal in the hotel on a Sunday night the bar staff made us a toast snack, The whole of Mulhouse and restaurants close all day.
Very nice historic Art Deco Hotel, near the city centre, with charming decoration and nice staff. Great Athmosphere. Good breaktfast and fast check-in and check-out. Unfortunately the bathroom floor was not properly cleaned and the room smaller than expected, maybe because of the internet booking with good price ? Loud music in the night, due of live music at the hotel bar, we heard it even at second floor. Strong perfume like smell in the room, from cleaning material maybe.
art deco its more a 3 star hotel
Excellent position chic hotel
The parking was very nice to have. The receptionist was very kind. There was an enormous disturbance because of live music. The rooms were to warm (overheated most probably) and the breakfast was really no value for money. The choise of bread was little. The quality of the available bread was bad. The amount of filling for the bread was minimal.
Location, nice bar and pleasan staff
Proche centre ville, propreté, chambre spacieuse. le petit déjeuner médiocre et trop cher, le parking en plein air payant,
The room smelt really bad. It took us about 2 days after we left to wash the stench off of us.
Good location, right price and friendly staff.
Quick and easy, good price room could be better decorated
It is centrally located and very reasonable The air conditioning in the two rooms I booked did not work and it was incredibly hot/humid in the room. It is not possible to sleep with the windows open as the road noise outside is too much to sleep.
Burned lightbulbs, poor TV-reception, flooding bathroom (no shower curtain, ... . To my opinion, this room was not ready for check in.
Helpful staff. Comfortable room, superb breakfast!
Central location, close to the railway station, tram, cheap restaurants.
the hospitality and prefoessionalism oif the staff, as well as the good breakfast and the clean rooms. Th eparking faility was also ok Not really
Central to the town and ease of access to all of the local facilities Finding the hotel was a bit tricky and the parking was on a different street to the entrance (although secure).
the friendliness , kind , and helpful service. Excellent breakfast. rooms are a little cramped , but we expect that in europe.Sorry, on question below, did not read reviews
The triple room we had was considered very small for 2 star status and price that we paid.
Th hotel room was very nice, much better than what I had expected based on the hotel rating. So I was really positively surprised. In addition the hotel offered free internet access and the staff was very helpful!
Helpful staff Good parking
Great value for money and staff were helpful and pleasant
The staff was very polite and helpfull. The location is perfect - very close to the city centre, just a few crossroads. An ideal place for a short stay. In front of the hotel there is a public parking, for which you should pay during the day. However, we were offered with a special place for our car at the back of the hotel, which was safer and free at the time of our visit.
The reception staff were always available. The beds and linen were well changed. Breakfast available for a long period. I would have liked a drawer in the table.
None. To many to name, unfortunately.
Central location, pleasant staff.
excellent staff and breakfast none
It was in the centre very convenient The staff were exceedingly helpful even laying on a breakfast for me at 4:30 in the morning I cannot say enough about the staff they were excellent No shower in the room
The hotel is friendly and conveniently located near the city centre. There was a WC and washbasin in the room, with a shower room available along the corrider. I was able to store my bicycle under cover in the rear courtyard. The breakfast supplied comprised a glass of orange juice, a croissant, three slices from a baguette, some butter and jam, and tea or coffee. The charge for this was 7 Euros.
the staff as nice, he breakfast good the rooms were very oldy. without any style
Staff were verey accomadating and friendley, room verey clean quiet and comfortable No coffee making facilities in our room
Value for money as Roi Soleil normally is - good economic stop off for business in Basle (only 30 mins). Non smoking hotel which is good (for me) - in Summer get room off the ground floor so you can open window and opposite side of building from afternoon sun (no aircon)
Overall a nice and comfortable stay. The rooms were not soundproof, you could hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms and the hallway. Expensive breakfast considering its variety.
Clean and quite room. good breakfast.
We stayed here en route to Italy from Calais and the hotel was fairly convenient for that purpose only. Breakfast was OK. The beds are small and not very comfortable. No extra pillows provided. It was a pretty dismal experience really - inferior to UK budget hotels.
Easy parking We had been invaded by flies because the hotel is located close to a chicken's farmer.
It's ideal to visit Mulhouse and its museums. It's easy to reach by car and it's located in a calm district. Good breakfast. Some spot on the fitted carpet.
Friendly reception. English spoken. Clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money, by far the best hotel in France I have stayed at in this price range. Location easy to find with a large number of shops nearby. I have since stayed at this hotel again.
We did not like anything about the hotel. We reserved a non-smoking room but did not get one and we had to have the window oopen all night as the mattress, pillows, everything was saturated in smoke. It was very cold at night but we could not breathe properly due to the strong odor of smoke. We felt ill but they told us the hotel was fully booked after we checked in but we had reserved a non-smoking room.
Easy access to motorway and excellent value for money when compared with other budget hotels. Everything was clean and worked well. Breakfast was ample and there was a decently sized room in which to eat it without feeling that it needed to be rushed.
It is our fourth stay at the Hotel, we appreciate its position (good if you come from, or have to cross Switzerland) its calm and cleanliness. Breakfast is also ok. Absence of a lift. People with reduced mobility will have to choose the ground floor (more noisy).
Nothing Nobody at the desk for 5 minutes as they were busy with restaurant (good for those eating but bad for those waiting to check-in). Triple room was really just single room with 3 beds. No room to walk in the chamber. At morning, the hotel tried to charge us for breakfast without asking if we had breakfast (we did not).
Nice hotel. Good position. Excellent food. The only bad aspect: Waitress not able to speak english (or any other language than french) and not keen to help. They need to improve in this otherwise they will loose customers. The rest is great
Clean and safe.
The staff were very helpful and the food was good. After a long drive it was very welcome. As we have children we asked for a room for four. We were told that we would have a connecting room. When we arrived it turned out to be two separate rooms. We felt the rom were very small and out of the four hotels we were using this holiday, this was the most expensive, with least facilities in the room and by far the smallest bedroom.
No frills basic hotel, bed, toilet, sink & shower. Adequate for an overnight stop. Interesting car-related lobby/breakfast room. I booked 5 rooms of which one the shower didn't work and another the sink leaked.
too small room. On the pictures it seems a lot bigger but rooms are 12m2 maximum.
The best thing about Enzo was the breakfast. I enjoyed the different breads and cheese selections that were offered. When my husband and I walked into our room, it felt like we walked into a walk-in closet. The room was so tiny we could barely move around, and it was hard to fit our luggage in there. The bathroom was even worse. In order to use the bathroom, you had to sit sideways on the toilet because there was no room. The shower drain was also clogged. The pictures are very decieving. Our overall stay there was horrible.
Colorful, friendly and comfortable No bar, very limited food
Clean, new and lovely bathroom. Good quality and clean. The rooms were very small! The website said I could check in at the counter up until 9pm on a Sunday but the reception was closed at 8pm. a little frustrating when you are wanting to pay by cash!
nice stuff room is too small, especially for 3 people
fine for over night stay but as is in a commercial centre not for a holiday. no UK tv stations but small clean room and very good breakfast, well worth the 6 euro. Far better than Formula 1. Nearby restaurant fair but not budget, does have a buffet first course if you are hungry.
Hotel is designed in a very fashion way, I like it very much. Staff was good, rooms was very clean. Location is a little out of town
Very helpful and friendly staff, clean, free internet and free parking in front of the hotel. Where to start...
Staff where very helpful and taught us some Italian as that was our destination. Fabulous old decor, typical old french hotel, full of characture and within strolling distance to the beautiful town square.
Great location, friendly staff. There are several rooms being remodeled. At first I was put in one of these rooms, which were not fit to be inhabited...even though there were other empty rooms. A short discussion with the manager mended matters.
The manager and staff of this hotel were very helpful to a non French speaking guest, especially the manager who has command of 7 Eiuropean languages including English. The architetecture of the hotel is of an era long gone by but is being restored. They serv e an exzcellent breakfast. It is located at an easy walk from the station, even for me a 75year old. All in all, it is good value for what you pay. NONE
Nice people. Quiet. Good breakfast. Good parking. Elevator needs to be fixed.
very helpfull staff, who were very keen to enhance our stay
The proprietor was very friendly. I was worried about what the room would be like based on the hallways etc, but it was really nice and homey and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay there. The see through door on the bathroom. We were traveling with our two daughters, and that made privacy a bit of a problem. Also it was a bit noisy and warm with no fans or AC but this is a common problem in Europe.
Off road parking in centre of town
greeat manager good staff and location a little old fashioned but wifi was useful
The hotel is close to most of the places of interest. The hotel is old and rooms does not justify the rates.
Staff very helpful and enthusiastic. Nothing.
A good hotel for people on the route between Germany and France. A little difficult to find.
The breakfast buffet they only had one cot for infants and it was already taken, therefore my 2 year old had to sleep in a full size bed with us.
Helpfull and efficient staff that were capable of arrangeing our stayover very promtly and accurate.
Great helpful service, nice room, good food-a very happy guest
easy to locate, good restaurant on site, easy walking distance to village of Ottmarsheim, quiet location, inexpensive but value for money, English spoken smaller room than other hotels booked on our tour but was adequate for overnight stay
Good location on edge of small village - but close to main routes. No locks on bathrooms.
Very convenient, just off motorway. We use this hotel when travelling between England and Italy. Beautiful town, lots of flowers, rather quiet.Convenient parking in front of hotel.
Much cheaper than staying in Basel. Hard to find.
No Restaurants! Better you eat in Neuenburg/Germany (5 min by car).
I really like the Campanile format - a relatively cheap room (if you use www.booking.com) and a restaurant on site with a buffet for the hungry traveller. Free parking, free wifi and because they are franchised, some of the managers make a real effort. The staff are pleasant. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. The hotel building itself is very tired. These buildings (there are hundreds of identical ones all over France) are all 30 to 40 years old and in need of modernisation. The paint on the concrete was falling off, the steel supports for the hanrdrail was rusting away, the locks on the doors are tired and difficult to operate and finally, the rooms are bit small. Nothing that a refurb and/or good maintenance would not sort out.
Staff were very friendly Nothing
When I arrived late and tired I was welcomed by friendly, helpful human beings, (unlike the 'automated' hotel next door).
