The room was very clean. Comfortable beds. Breakfast had many choices of food to eat. I would stay there again. The pool and jacuzzi were broken down. Was looking forward to taking a morning swim, but didn't happen.
Rooms were clean. Staff was helpful. Great breakfast
I had a single queen room that was large, clean, and very comfortable. Computer available in lobby so that I could check into my flight and print my boarding pass ahead of time. Friendly staff. There was nothing I didn't like.
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean, quiet, convenient location for my needs. There was some confusion about the rate I had booked on booking.com. I had booked a single rate for 4 nights spanning both weekend and week days but hotel has different rates by type of day. Very promptly and effectively resolved at checkout so was not an issue in the end.
I loved the comfortable bed and the choice of pillows. Every thing was clean and nice, but the bed was Great. I only had two problems with my stay. The first problem was the sheets on the bed. They were clean and smelled wonderful, but what ever made the sheets smell so good was really bad for my sinuses, and very much prevented a good night sleep. The second problem was that I could not get the television out of the pay per view mode. I don't know for sure if was operator error, or a user unfriendly remote.
Total lack of any hassels; freindly helpful staff
location was in a nice area, pool was clean and attractive
The hotel was very accommodating. Great service with a high standard room.
Some rooms were not available when we checked in at 5:00 P.M.They were still being cleaned. T.V. remote was broken. Phone was unplugged.
This hotel is not for families, not for someone who wants to sleep, and not for someone who is looking to feel safe. I would not recommend this hotel!!
The staff was responsive to our needs! Got stuck with a disgusting smoking room which we could not use!!! Had to leave and find another hotel!!!!
No continental breakfast as promised Hot tub was closed due to repairs the other one was packed so wasn't able to use it.
My room was next to the pool, the rooms were a good size, staff was amazing, was given late checkout until 1:30 for no charge, the golf terraine is gorgeous, there were other families there on Saturday which made it nice for my daughter to play, pool was very clean, there are 2 pools, the smaller pool is nicer, pool is open late, hot tubs are large, store across the street, lots of restaurants around, no bedbugs. Hot tub wasn't working by large pool, furniture in room is from 1967 and smells accordingly, rooms feel like a mix between a skanky motel and retirement home, the whole place feels like a retirement home, I went to the restaurant and it was gross, waitress was very rude to me and I left, rooms don't feel very secure, some really shady looking guests, towels are nasty, purchased Lysol wipes and wiped down my ENTIRE room after I was told my room was non refundable, it was filthy, including the toilet, bed very uncomfortable, there was blood on my sheets.
The hotel was well below the style portrayed in the pictures I saw on the internet. The website said there was free wireless internet in the rooms, which in fact was charged 6.95 per day for said internet usage. I will not be staying ath the Arizona Golf Resort ever again. The grounds, and rooms, were not nearly as nice looking as in the website, I truly feel mislead. Also they charged me 6.95 per day for wireless internet usage in my room which was said to be free of charge on the advertised website.
Excellent room for the price.
No continental breakfast as promised
everything was ok, I felt really good, friendly people everywhere, golfing was good. I would come again next year!
Strange parking situation but not bad
The room was big and very clean. The kitchenette was a nice amenity, too. The bathroom area was very functional with the shower/toilet in a separate room from the sink and very long counter (loved the counter space!). Although standard in most hotels, having a functioning iron and board that didn't leave a stain on my shirts was a life saver. I am a big coffee drinker. I would've like to see a little more than maxwell house coffee filters for the old style coffee pot. I tried it once and couldn't do it twice. Ended up going out for coffee.
Location close to venues and restaurants Staff asked for us to write a good review if we enjoyed everything. It's their job to make me want to write a good review. After many years on customer service I found it very tacky that managment asked me to write a good review
Nothing The service The Customer Service The Reservation Desk
Course is fun to play. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to please. Prime rib was excellent and the restaurant staff was very efficient and nice. The resort was built in 1960, so things are a little dated, but they are working on upgrades all the time. The kitchenette is a great option for the people who don't like to eat out every night! P.S. Don't eat the oranges on the trees they are an ornamental variety and YUCK!!!
The room was very clean and beautifully designed. I loved the flat screen TV and fold out couch. Also, the wireless internet was easy to use and the continental breakfast was simple and tasteful.
Great layout of rooms, modern and clean rooms, great location, and excellent business services... Breakfast service not quite as good as other Hyatt Place....coffee was not good.
The room was great! Very clean and comfortable. Nice location. The breakfast was suppose to run until 10am but on one of my mornings the staff was cleaning by 930am.
The hotel is modern and new, and the staff is very friendly. There are also some shops and restaurants nearby.
The hotel was great, and spacious. there is a convenience of a few shopping plazas nearby, but no sounds, it was quiet and enjoyable. I loved it!
Loved how big the room was and the breakfast. Can't say anything negative.
The hotel was easy to find. It was clean but rooms need updated. The out side door right by my room did not require a room key to inter the hotel. Did not feel safe. When I told the front desk they did not seam concerned at all. " that happens a lot." I was told.
I liked that they let us check in a few hours early. The breakfast they have is good for all ages. The location of the hotel is easy to find, right off the freeway. There isn't much that my family and I didn't like about the hotel. The one thing I would have to say is that the rooms are just a little outdated.
The hotel was lovely and the staff was very acomidating.
The staff were friendly and the rooms were a good size, good facilities and parking. Everything was very clean and well kept. The breakfast was really nice but all served on polystyrene plates with plastic cutlery which was hard to eat from. The rate we were charged was different from the booking.com rate but the staff were great and reimbursed us after we questioned it.
Beds were comfy. Room was spotless! Bathroom very clean. Staff was super friendly. Continental breakfast was a nice surprise and not bad food, I liked the waffles. no airport shuttle
The room was clean. We had a king room, very spacious. Lots of room. I was surprised to know that there was a sliding window to open for fresh air... a warm treat for us coming from a snowy area. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to use the outdoor pool and hot tub. The pillows were small squares, and quite hard. The shower tub was small, and the bottom of the tub curved your feet and made it difficult to stand comfortably in the shower. For breakfast, the eggs tasted like powdered eggs, really BAD powdered eggs. But the make your own waffles were good. We were able to tolerate these " negatives".
Breakfast was ok. Basic but appreciated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The receptionist was wonderful The pool was warm. But in Phx, I guess it's hard for it to be cold. Wish the water was refreshing. The workout room was small. Kids were in there playing. Our room also smelled a little moldy. Think the ac was moldy.
Was curious how it was rated so well and the price so reasonable, so my husband and I decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the room was nice and spacious and very clean. We were so impressed that on our return trip going back home, we made a point of stopping there again. Would highly recommend this facility. D&D OKC, OK
It was centrally located in the Phoenix area. The staff were all friendly. The rooms were clean. The continental breakfast had a lot of variety, including eggs, sausage, and bacon. The pillows came in three levels of firmness! The sink was a little slow to drain, and the bathtub floor had evidence of a tiny bit of wear.
Check in and front desk person was super easy to deal with, explained everything needed about the property, location of all facilities, check out, etc. Television in our room was big, selection of channels was perfect, morning breakfast was just the right size with everything needed without being complicated. The price of our room was half that of many of the others in the area, location was perfect for us from both of our meeting points, cannot see why anyone would have a problem with this location. Nothing, I still cannot see what anyone could find wrong with this location for the value and what is offered.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Parking right at the room. Price and location was good for my needs. I am a police officer and felt like I was on the job. Hookers, drug users and vagrants. Found drugs on the ground right in front of my door. I was spotted as a cop right away so I made sure I did not go out without my badge and gun. I did meet some brother officers in Mesa that made a raid and arrest.
Front desk clerk helped me with printing out my boarding pass for departure flight the next day. Flies in room.
The room was gross. It was like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There were burn holes in the sheets and the toilet seat. Then when we complained they offered another room but that was worse. They didn't let us cancel our next nights stay or give a refund for the ridiculously overpriced, grotesque room. Also no one that stayed with us had brought floss picks and we found one in the bed.
Location Everything else stay somewhere different
Price, convenience, solid breakfast for price. It was 120 degrees in Mesa the day we arrived....got in about 9pm...A/C was not already on in our room. Took 30 minutes to get cool enough to stay in room.
Worst hotel ever don't even consider it
The price was cheap. But you definitely get what you pay for! Linens were clean, pillows were comfortable. The room served it's purpose. While we were there the 2 days, the cops were there 3 times. There was also alot of homeless people walking around . One even asked the room next to me if he could just go into his room to change his clothes. When he declined, he proceeded to just change on the stairwell. And probably the most sketchiest part was when a staff member just walked into our room at night while we were laying in bed( and almost naked) to try to fix the tv that was seriously annoying to program. She pretty much made herself at home in there with us. I was waiting for her to lay on the bed with us and ask for popcorn and what we are watching :-/ Very innapropriate and unprofessional.
Very friendly and accommodating manager. The location was great for our intended purpose, to visit family. Hotel was clean on the whole, and had a pool, which was up to health code standard. The price was beyond reasonable for the quality of the hotel. Although continental breakfast was included- it was very limited, having only cold cereal, oatmeal, and toast.
Staff was very friendly. Room was fairly clean. For the price, I'd recommend this hotel for someone who just needs a place to sleep. WiFi was fast. Breakfast was hot oatmeal, bread, fruit, and two kinds of cereal. Not the best location. Room was a little dark with the curtains closed.
Good price Bathroom smelled like smoke. Refrigerator didn't work.
The staff, the lady at the desk was very pleasant! The floors were so dirty, your feet were black from walking around, the bed was hard and the hookers were everywhere! Not a family friendly place!
The staff is pretty friendly and helpful. The pool is dirty and the whole pool area needs to be better kept. There is also signs of termites on the ceiling in our room.
Room was very clean espcially considering it had a full kitchen. The dishes were clean and the fact a cutting board was there was helpful. The breafast had a pretty good selection, self prepared waffle maker was clean and easy to use. The room was quiet. The tv screen had something weird going on not sure why objects would get bigger closer they came to the screens edges. The tv guide was on a slow scroll and you had to sit and wait to see what shows were coming on, instead of fowarding through.
Nearly everything. The bathtub spigot was loose and not attached. Room 125.
Pool was not clean but we were given the option to clean it ourselves
It was quiet, calm and accomodating. Perfect for what we needed. Thin walls and strong cooking smells in hallways. Each room was equipped w/mini kitchen and the hallways would sometimes smell of multiple cooking dishes--good or bad??
Room was good size and had nice furnishings. The bed was comfortable, though the spread and blanket could have been heavier. The breakfast was of excellent quality, and the WIFI worked very well. The staff was superior and helped me every way they could. Nothing I can think of.
There were two televisions in the room. We needed 2 double beds ... the sofa bed took the place of one of the double beds and it was very uncomfortable.
The room was so clean and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was great. No.
I liked the generous room size and full kitchens. No
The staff is friendly and works hard to resolve issues. The carpets in our room were dirty. The air conditioning didn't work well at all. But when we talked to the office they did switch us to another room.
The room was nice. Shower curtain was dirty which is gross. The breakfast was really bad. The hash browns, eggs and sausage were mostly raw and I couldn't eat them but there was a waffle maker and cold cerial you could make. I would definitely stay here. Breakfast was nasty. Shower curtain was dirty. Garbage disposal didn't work.

The staff was very courteous, professional and helpful. The hotel, although older, was well maintained.
Location was great and the staff were understanding and very accommodating . The hotel bar was great A Resturant was available in hotel but it's prices were much to high as high class restaurants were nearby and offered affordable meals and a wide variety which wasn't available in hotel. You can't ask high prices for meals with superior competition right next door.
The bed was so comfortable and and it was quiet. Front desk was friendly. The smell of cigarettes in the room. Room didn't necessarily match the picture but then again does any picture ever match..?
Quality place. No issues and decent breakfast. Good value.
The breakfast was good; the room was clean and comfortable. The pool could have been a little warmer, and the hotel was difficult to get to. It was behind several other businesses and there was no sign out front.
Room was nice and clean and comfortable. Had no idea that the place was under construction early morning being woke up by the sound co saws and hammers. so much for the nice relaxing get away.
The staff very helpful & courteous. The AC unit it room is extremely loud which interferes with sleep.
Bed was very comfortable No complaints except, wish the size of the TV could be larger.
Convenient location for my business, reasonable rate Upon arrival , when I inquired I was told that they were not that busy , so why then would I be placed on the 5 th floor by all the air conditioners .. very noisy , even my neighbours also wondered with the lovely court yard why they weren't placed closer to that!
The front desk clerk was helpful with restaurants that delivered in the area. The food was delicious! The complimentary breakfast could stay open for another hour.
Clean and friendly Not a good area but city transit right out front
The rooms were nice and updated. House keeping always returned even if you in the room in the mornings they would come back in the afternoon. Small grab and go breakfast. Other than the one staff being a little rude this was an excellent stay. I would come back to stay there. I didn't like all the construction which they can't help. One of the staff was a little rude when I when to check my booking when I had to add more days to my stay.
Very clean and welcoming hotel. Incredibly quiet and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and the check in/out process was quick. The toilet ran periodically, likely due to a leak, so that was distracting during the middle of the night.
Staff was friendly Hotel premises was clean inside and out. Elevator Outdoor Pool Very quiet Beds comfortable Location, hard to see hotel when driving Location, dubious people nearby (saw a man leaving an adjacent "closed" building carrying a pillow case over his shoulder, climb over a 6ft fence, ran to his nearby SUV, and sped away) First night the toilet fill valve making high pitch squealing noise. Maintenance repaired the next day. Second night flapping noise coming from bath vent all night, but it stopped when the winds stopped. Breakfast bagels and muffins were very dry, almost stale. And mixup on duration of stay, but staff next day accommodated us.
Except for the coffee, there was nothing we didn't like the coffee in the room and the breakfast area were far too weak We are not fans of weak coffee
staff was very friendly an helpful the carpet was steined and did not feel very clean. we were there for 4 days and the kids were getting tired of the same options for breakfast.
The room was really nice and it had a large clean balconey that was surrounded by very nice smelling trees
Quiet with a park-like court-yard and good price included breakfast service newspapers and internet.
Very comfortable and clean, quiet! The wireless only work part of the time, very intermittent ! Some distance from Phoenic and shopping for the wife!
the location. EVERYTHING BUT THE LOCATION!!! You couldn't pay ME enough to stay in this dump again. Terrible terrible terrible!! Ick!
The staff was very friendly. Loved the outdoor area with private patios.
Staff was very friendly. Michael (who was working the front desk when I checked in) was very helpful.
The hotel had my reservation and the staff was very courteous and efficient. They were very helpful by being very knowledgeable of the area.
Easy check-in and check-out, useful location. The rooms were relatively nice but older and the furniture and decorations seemed dated.
Friendly, well maintained, pet friendly. Liked everything.
Nothing Upon our arrival and check in, we were assigned a room on the fifth floor. Having brought a number of items for family members, we needed to unload our vehicle as the Motel is located in a high crime area; full of abandoned buildings which previously housed Night Clubs, Pubs, Movie Theaters, Restaurants, and Strip Malls. I went in search of a luggage cart to speed and easy the task. Not finding any in the area of the elevator, I returned to the lobby and asked the front desk attendant where they stored them. I was informed they could be anywhere in the Hotel. After searching seven floors, I finally found one outside in the parking area. It was the one, and only one for the entire Hotel. Next problem we encountered was when I flushed the stool in the bathroom and water sprayed out from between where the tank sets on the bowl. I notified the front desk of the problem, and following repeated notifications to the front desk of the leak, it was repaired on the fourth day of our stay. During our stay, the fire alarm went off three times resulting in our evacuating the Hotel down five flights. The Hotel was undergoing major repairs due to the roof leaking and major water damage to dry wall in many areas of the Hotel. The quality of the Continental Breakfast was very poor and second rate. We went out for breakfast after the first morning.
Nothing The beds are uncomfortable, no locks on restroom, no clean towels by the pool, TV channel were minimal, didn't have extra pillows when asked, bed sheets were stained, elevator was too slow and towels had a bad odor.
We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. It was our worst hotel experience ever. On the 3rd night, around midnight, the fire alarms in the entire hotel went off. The entire hotel was evacuated, seemingly because someone had burned popcorn. On our 4th night, we noticed the sink was filling with water and black sludge while the faucet was NOT on. We alerted hotel management, they did not have someone to fix it until morning and did not have a king size bed to move us to. By the morning, the entire bathroom floor was flooded. Somehow that morning at 7am, they "located" another king size room to move us to. Once we arrived in the second room, we noticed that the flushing mechanism for the toilet was completely busted. We alerted management again and expressed our extreme displeasure. Their response to us, " Well it's a hotel. Things break." The hotel is 15 years old. Terrible, terrible stay, Upon speaking with the management upon leaving, they offered to comp 1 night and that's it. Lovely, NOT.
Nothing to like here. The staff was not helpful. The facilities were run down. They were charging way too much for what it is!! Do not be fooled!!!
The location to our function was great. There are a lot of dining establishments close by and the mall is across the freeway from the hotel. When we arrived a 4 pm. we were told our room would not be ready for a half an hour. We explained we drove 5.5 hours and needed to tidy up before a dinner function at 5 p.m. We were asked to wait until a room was available. At 4:30 p.m. we were given a room. The room assigned was the first room next to the elevator, the ice machine, the laundry room and the room service room. The walls were thin and we heard doors slamming constantly. Our stay booked through KYAK was for 2 nights. The next day we went exploring. When we came back at 4:30 p.m., our room had not been made up. When I asked if they were short staffed in housekeeping I was told NO. This is the worst La Quinta Inn we have ever stayed at. It's older and other than the lobby, it was not well maintained. The pool furniture was filthy.
clean, friendly, very helpful, pleasant and assisting staff
I wifi suck. The stuff was very layer back.., when calling to ask how to check out. He just check me out with out asking if I was ready and he told me " just to get" would not every go back
Stayed 2 nights. Our room faced freeway which seemed too loud till I realized the window was open. Room was clean but the bed looked rumpled. Nice shower in clean bathroom. Room equipped with microwave, small fridge and iron. Very good breakfast with fruit, fresh waffles, sweet rolls, muffins, toast, cerel, juice, coffee & milk. Staff we quick to restock items. Didn't have time to try the small pool or hottub. Slept well and good deal for a last minute booking on a busy weekend. Hallway smelled like smoke. A bit awkward to fnd. Sat night was noisy with people slamming doors and talking till after midnight.
We requested a non-smoking room, but we got a room that smelled with cigarrete.
tiny pool, air conditioning was loud and I didn't get any sleep, area surrounding was a slum. Terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone
The price was great and it waS clean. It's a small little place but if you just need a place to sleep it was great. Free breakfast in the morning too!
Bed was real comfortable. Room was ok. Stayed for five days and the breakfast was the same everyday. Scrambled eggs and sausage patty. Could use at least some variety.

Good breakfast buffet. Nice staff Air freshener in hallways and rooms way too strong.
I had no problems, breakfest was great. no
Neat, clean tidy, comfortable, well kept swimming pool too small to use
A lot of choices for breakfast

The staff was very helpful! Breakfast was perfect with hot and cold items. From check-in to check-out, the staff was very helpful! AC worked well in our room (esp since the weather was 118 degrees that day) nope - everything was great!
Good breakfast selection, pool was a good size & jacuzzi was separate from pool, which made it private. First of all it is a MOTEL, not a HOTEL, the name of the place is false advertising. Staff members are cold & short while checking in. When I went to breakfast I was greeted with a list of rules, no food and drink are allowed to leave the area, so be prepared to eat with strangers if you stay here. I even asked to pay extra to take my food to go (which were on paper plates and paper cups), but the babysitter in charge of breakfast refused to allow it. I had a friend over for dinner about 10:00 pm & received a call from the front desk, who said I'm not allowed to have guests over that late & my friend would need to leave immediately or I would be charged a fee for an additional person staying the night. During checkout 4 days later I found out they had added that fee for each night of my stay, which was an extra $60 bucks! I was not notified of this beforehand, nor was this authorized. They ended up telling me they would remove the extra charges for all nights except the 1st (once they knew I wouldn't put up with their scam), but they did have to charge an extra $15 for a handtowel that was stained (I had wiped my lipstick off the night before on the towel so I guess they don't use very good soap). Do not stay here, you will regret it after you see how unfriendly the staff is & once they nickel & dime you every chance they get!
The room was big and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Better than average HVAC unit in the room with a regular thermostat. Lots of choice for breakfast. The overall impression is of a well-run, well-maintained facility. Excellent value for the money.
This hotel was close enough to the activities we went to mesa for. There was hair on everything. Something in the room kept blinking a bright green light through the night which kept waking us up. The staff wasn't very friendly.
The bed seemed nice and clean. It was comfortable for the 1 night we were there. The carpet was disgusting, and the room smelled like stale cigarettes. I specifically reserved a non smoking room, but that request seemed to fall on deaf ears.
