Very friendly and helpful staff. 3* hotel with everything to a very high standard. Great mountain views and central location
Federica and Gabriele who own and run the hotel made us feel so welcome. The hotel is very cosy with a comfortable bar to sit and relax with a drink after a good day's skiing. The children (8 & 11) loved the hotel.
Friendly welcoming staff, beautiful hotel and nice room, excellent evening meal at a good price.
Gabriel & Federicka and there staff were superb and super friendly, the food was great . I have been to all the top resorts in europe and the Montarosa Ski area is fantastic.and so is the Hotel Bellevue!!!
We found our stay at Hotel La Rouja to be very warm and easy. The staff were very friendly and the hotel had a nice atmosphere. The rooms have just recently been decorated to a good standard and the new shower/turkish bath was amazing. Would definitely stay at Hotel La Rouja again.
Relais des Glaciers is located at the southern end of Champoluc, about 1/2 mile from the ski lift. The bus from Milan stops in front of the hotel, as does the local bus. The local bus costs 1 euro per trip. Hotel staff is friendly, knowledgable and efficient. Breakfast has standard, European cold fare, with local cheeses and very good croissants.
The hotel is located in the middle of champoluc, 5 minutes far from the ski areas. All the people working for the hotel are very kind and ready to help you.
Comfortable hotel located in the main street of Champoluc not far from the ski lifts, nice interior design, garage under the hotel, staff ready to help, safe big enough for DSLR camera and netbook, sauna... No wi-fi, just one computer with [expensive] connection to the Internet. I think, in the year 2010 wi-fi is a must and it should be free for the guests of the hotel.
Very friendly staff, room of good size with enough space for baby bed. Perfectly clean. The location is perfect, off the main street in Champoluc, with shops, coffee-shopts, restaurants, minimarkets, all over, sky-lifts less than 5 mins walk away. The main street has been newly paved with stones, and has no traffic (access by car is restricted to residents and hotel residents). In my opinion, probably the best location were to stay in Val d'Ayas. Everything you need daily and in the evening available within walking distance, and anything else available with a short drive. Parking spot available in the hotel garage. Perhaps temperature in the room too high for me - with no possibility of tuning it (it is regulated for the whole building). I wish the hotel provided wireless internet access - the only internet access was available at a computer in the main lounge.
Friendly personell and a caretaking manager/owner. Perfect for skiing and a good bar to relax in and have some drinks before and after dinner :-) Free snacks in the bar and some nice evening events were arranged. Fantastic extra service providing free offpist guides for all guests for a full day. I'll be glad to come back. Too hard beds which allso goes for the pillows. Better quilts would have been appreciated. No real al la cart meny, we had to pay for full half board for the evenings we ate at the resturant even though we didn't had the full menue (poorly explained).
We especially liked the large bar/lounge with comfortable sofas and newspapers. We also enjoyed the view from our rooms (with balcony). Nice atmosphere, good food, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. I personally prefer duvets to blankets.
The friendly atmosphere The bed and especially pillow
Really charming hotel and great friendly staff. Very homely with especially nice loung
good food and services
The family atmosphere
Food, location, free parking, good window view. Some rooms are very small and it was quite cold inside.
Its proximity to the ski lifts
Location brilliant just a few meters from the ski lifts and the slope. Everything was very good including breakfast, quiteness of the rooms, personnel etc. We would definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Champoluc. Nothing.
Pleasant staff & service, food good, room price good A bit dated
Family run hotel. Staff all very friendly and helpfull.
It was in a great location for the ski lifts, ski hire, and had off road parking. The food was generally good and the staff were very accommodating. The rooms were far too hot and it was hard to regulate the temperature. The rooms were slightly too basic with no tea/coffee making facilities or the like. Our booking was for a family room and I was expecting 1 double and 2 single beds with a sofa / armchair & coffee table to be able to relax in but all we had was 2 x single beds pushed together and an exceptionally small bunk bed. There was no other furniture and the room was cramped for 4 people. I was disappointed with this aspect of the hotel.
Very peaceful location. Cleanliness of the hotel, warm and friendly atmosphere.. Hotel locates off the main street, bit tricky to find.
Staff were excellent, hotel was spotless. Food could be more varied i.e. Cater for vegetarians (not that I'm one but companion was)
Very friendly and helpful family team running the hotel. None
The ski slopes above Champoluc are good; long well groomed runs which however do not share the same fame as Megeve or Verbier. Reflecting the modest profile of the region, Le Petit Arbri is a functional friendy hotel with an Italian family atmosphere. It is situated a bit away from the village centre, but this ensures a quiet night's sleep.
The staff were very helpful, they made us feel welcome. Had information on the area of Champoluc. The meals were not very filling.
Friendly, welcoming, accommodating staff. Hotel has wonderful rustic charm, open fire in a cosy sitting, room amazing restaurant, clean comfortable bedrooms, good value for money
Restaurant lovely, friendly staff
Extraordinary atmosphere, cosy, intimate a truly mountain experience. Great gourmet food. Outstanding food experince. Only the dinner would be worth the price. Well done !
The hotel is ideally situated in the ski area. The interior looks good. The dinners were good and two of the personnel, Sara and Jeanne were up to standard and very helpful. It was very cold indoors, water was leaking through the roof, there were no reading lights, the beds were uncomfortable, the lights in the lounge areas were too low to enable reading, The bartender and service during daytime and early nights extremely slack and uninterested. It took a lot of påatience to get any beverage after skiing.
Very quiet rooms, rustic warm Bar and restaurant with big open fire. The evening meal was very good value for money, but no choice of menu.
Relaxed informal service but always helpful. Immediate availability of room even though we arrived quite early. Excellent food. Convenience fro skiing the Monte Rosa system. Availability of under cover car parking.
This was a great hotel, in a lovely spot and the staff, especially the main lady in charge, were so extremely helpful - the best we have ever come across.
Friendly staff, and extraordinary value for money.
Friendly staff and access to the mountain walks etc.
Used hotel as a late night stopover en route to french alps. Staff kindly stayed up late to check us in.Excellent large family room available
Friendly staff, close to the highway, looks like a popular restaurant. No working airco, no possibility for early breakfast
Friendly welcome, excellent food and wines, helpful staff. 30OC and neither room nor restaurant ac working, though fans provided. No lock or even catch on en suite door
Great location to drive to various ski resorts, all staff very friendly and helpful, great bar and restaurant, clean room with great views of the mountains and would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Thanks to manager and all members of staff for a great family holiday. Nothing - had a great holiday here
Convenience as a stop-over on route to France No towels available on arrival until 5pm.
Perfect location to stay first night before skiing in the Aosta Walley.
Great courtesy of the staff, excellent service, free internet (they also provide the LAN cable). The triple wasn't huge, but the bathroom was adequate, big shower. Fantastic resturant, owned by the same family of the hotel, so good cooking that we stayed for 3 nights and we ended up eating at the hotel every evening: local dishes, local ingredients, every meal was worth it, and the prices were absolutely reasonable. The room wasn't very big, maybe a bit more space would have been better, but it's no big deal...
Lovely little B&B with charm, nice tidy room, fine breakfast and a very pleasant staff.
We enjoyed the very warm welcome from our hostess Ambra and her suggestions throughout our stay
Fantastic and very friendly hostess. It felt a bit like staying in someone's private home. The breakfast was good. No Internet connection available - accept via phone in the lobby. Only cash payment accepted for room rates.
A charming hotel set in a beautiful location. The rooms are very cosy and immaculately clean. The owner is extremely friendly and the breakfast excellent. Credit cards and debit cards are not accepted.
Nice familyowned B&B. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Nice looking rooms (we had #4) Slightly cold in the room upon arrival, but better later on.
Lovely clean, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was excellent, perfect before a day on the slopes. The owner and her family were very friendly, I would highly recommend for value and comfort.
