very relaxed stay in Arosa. We also really appreciated the Arosa all inn card which allowed to use cable lift, boats on the lake, bus etc...for free during our stay the outside of the hotel and the restaurants were very outdated. the breakfast was too basic for a 4 star hotel.
The hotel is family run and this showed as it had a great homely atmosphere, a real nice change from the usual international business chains. Nothing was too much for the staff, always helpful and ready to assist. The hotel also has a great Chinese restuarant.....not too many choices of dishes but what there was was very authentic and delicious. I would definately stay again at the Post Hotel. I would like to see kettles to be availiable for the rooms as this makes it much easier when travelling with small children.
Location just in front of a nice pond and by the skislopes It was very difficult to find a restaurant inside the hotel and the concierge would not help us booking it. The lady at the hotel just by the entrance was terrible.
Spa on the 4th floor, 4 different restaurants to choose in the hotel, very friendly and helpful staff noisy rooms, cold bathrooms (no heated floor -> ice cold bath tiles)
Great location for skiing, the new SPA is a treat after skiing the whole day. We stayed in a double room connected to a single room for our son, it was a very good setup Tiny TV, the ceiling and lamp trembled each time the guests in the room above walked, quite expensive for the value.
staff was very cooperative and nice. view is beautiful. sheets where poor and unpleasant.
The location is wonderful, staff is friendly and it is just next to the railway station.
Good value rooms can be had in the off-season. Nice mountain location, with a very windy mountain drive to get there. Exceptional restaurant with amazing views from 'panoramic' rooms and the restaurant/breakfast room. In Summer, free parking and lift ticket for the gondola.
Please write at least 15 words. It was excellently located in the main street and only 5 min walk to lifts. Hotel staff were all charming and very helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
The complimentary travel card for guests is very impressive. In room WiFi, if available, is perfect. The internet PC in the lobby was not internationally configured that my home country language cannot be displayed. It's basically useless for guests from the East.
The friendliness of the staff and the ease of finding the location. Meals were also very good and nothing was too much trouble. The noise of the traffic.
We enjoyed the rooms...we were advised to reserve 2 rooms for our small family and it worked out better than I expected. The breakfast was terrific and the in-hotel-restaurant provided terrific service (makings for hot tea) for free (we brought our own tea-bags). The location for hiking and sking is outstanding....just steps away from the hotel....Don't be put off by the outside appearance of the hotel....it really is charming inside! The place was recently renovated inside. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are clean and bright. The single room had a lovely semi-private terrace. The parking was free but not convenient...just a couple 100 meters stroll down the road. Also, the hotel offers some spa rooms (Sauna, Steam & dry) and a small work out room that was charming and well kitted-out for spa (bath robes, towels, etc.) but the hotel had strict rules that prohibited children under 14 using these facilities.....My daughter is 10 and well behaved, but disappointed that she could not relax with her mother in the spa.
The view to die for from the breakfast room
Staff were very helpful, nice, albeit small, spa area
Attention to detail, warm atmosphere, friendly, polite, efficient staff.
Beautiful and cozy hotel close to the slopes. Hotel bar with live music and fireplace. Great Spa. Excellent food. Hotel staff is extremely friendly and always ready to great you with a smile. Expensive, like everything else in Switzerland. CHF 800 for a double room is definitely pushing it. Anyway, if your pockets are deep enough, enjoy the experience.
Great hospitality, superb view facing the mountains No proper ventilation nor air-conditioning at the room
The staff was excellent, everyone from the front desk to the dining room, would do anything to help you. The room was very nice and comfortable. The shuttle bus to the ski lift was very late on the pick up. When it arrived, it was full except for 3 seats (the shuttle bus only drops off and picks up skiers at one point), so we had to wait for the driver to return. It is suppose to run every 30 minutes. We ended up waiting 45 min. to get picked up. There were about 12 people waiting for the shuttle.
peaceful location, spectacular mountain views, very friendly and informal staff, fine cuisine, relaxing atmosphere, comfortable and clean room n/a
We are American and only speak English but the staff was great, very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
Friendly staff, nice continental breakfasts
A very comfortable hotel in a good position. The restaurant had a good children's menu and lovely breakfast.
stunning views winter duvet in the summer, it was too hot
The personal assistance offered to me. Great food. Kind staff. Gorgeous scenery, great hikes. no
Very friendly staff, exellent place and food
All the staff were very helpful and welcoming. They would speak English if we required. Excellent food lovely restaurant with view. Location is very good. It was a real delight to stay there and we would happily stay there again. Room was a good size, recently furnished and very clean. Hotel had a friendly, relaxing and happy atmosphere.
The Spa area was relatively well equiped for a small hotel. It was clean and relaxing and enjoyable. The best thing was that it was possible to book it for private use which was a great experience.
Very helpful and friendly staff, clean room, quiet, good facilities, nice views from the breakfast room.
Quick efficient check in. Helpful staff. Good location. Free parking. Clean, larger than expected room. Quiet location. Well organised and hassle free. Unfortunately a bit too far to walk to lift station for skiing with small children - no bus.
family run hotel, everyone most helpful and friendly, my only criticism was the fact that the single room i had was small and rather expensive for a night stop
Extremely helpful family run hotel, near to end of piste. More welcoming than many 5 star hotels I've stayed in. Excellent food and wine ! Limited dinner selection especially with children, although the night we ate in the Swiss menu was superb. Easy access to restaurants in the village if needed.
beautiful situation and views
Location Lack of tea/coffee in the roomchoice of English tv programs
Swimming pool, food Hotel documentation in English and German is very good. But I would have liked the other brochures in English as well
Friendly staff, convenient location, nice views, nice food Pool shallow. Restaurant rather brightly lit for that romantic meal!
Ski and swim in their nice pool
nice pool, shuttle service (quite long walk to train) housekeeping knocked on my door 3min before checkout time to tell me that its late.
courtesy of the staff, cleanliness of facility, free minibar water, beer daily fee to use the small fitness room. in light of the cost of the facility this seemed unnecessary and left a bad taste in our mouth
The hotel was towars one end of Arosa away from the main road and very quiet. Our room was comforatable and very clean with balcony views over woods towards snow covered muntain tops. The mini bar and various facilities in the hotel were free and we liked the bath robes and shoes. The staff were very pleasant and most spoke very good English.
