Location, Clean facility We Had 3 rooms. one in Good conditions, the second one with a lique at the air conditioner that was droping the water in the carpet, we asked to fix it and they never did. Those 2 rooms were in a new building at the 5fth floor The third Room was at the end of a long corridor in an old building, and had a lot of problems like they did not had light at the shower, the air condinioner was not working and the key did not work correctly. We asked to repair and they did after 2 days.
Location was excellent. Staff was okay... Not great Room wasn't ready. Rip in the carpet. No toilet paper in room when I arrived. Too noisy at night. Overpriced. Should be priced at $40 per night
Located in the hearth of Guanajuato, besides Juarez Theater. Walking distance from everything. Clean rooms. They have an Italian Restaurant in the second floor which is good. At night is noisy area, ask for a room as deep in the hotel as you can, away from the front street. We didn't have a problem with the noise because we stay up late at the bars, but if you go to bed early can be a problem. Get a pair of ear plugs just in case.
The balcony view and location are unbeatable. The bed was extremely comfortable. In addition, the staff were more than accommodating. Nothing!!!
Its relatively close to downtown, easy access to lots of places The beds are not that comfortable, and tv's are small.
I like the room, the instalations. We got stealed US$200 in the room.
I like the old style hotel..
The hotel was quite easy to find. Big signs on several places showing the direction. Breakfast buffé was good. The overall first impression is good. With a little more work, this hotel could be excellent but it has some important issues that degrades the stay. First room was on the bottom with a terrace door that didn't lock. The lock was a wooden pole. Big question marks in the staffs face when I explained I didn't like that security. Also quite big roaches appeared in the room, prob. because the terrace door was open all evening without us opening it. Good security? Without any bigger discussions but with quite uncomprehending faces we got a new room on the second floor this time with a balcony door that didn't even have a lock ? 3rd room was only with a window wich was possible to lock :) No safety box in the rooms.
The service was very effective (we could change room immediately on request, and a broken lamp was fixed in the same time) and the breakfast is simply amazing. Also, we enjoyed the small gifts like the free transport to the center and the free warm drinks. The laundry took one extra day to arrive.
Nice grounds, good deal for your money. Beds
It's at the entrance of town. far enough from the crowd, only a 40 peso cab ride one way into downtown. It has a bar, dining room, bfst is included and is buffet style. The staff is very attentive and accomodating. they speak english.
Staff did all they could do, and we would recommend it to others. Rate excellent. Way too many stairs with no elevators. We would warn people about this very significant limitation.
Buffet breakfast (food, service, ambiance, etc. was excellent. Room and services were very good. Very picturesque lay-out. Excellent value for money. Would be nice to have a safe for valuables in room but desk safe box was readily available with friendly 24 hr. service.
Good location, room was clean, Most of the activities right in front of the hotel (Mariachis, nortenios, trios, shows etc) Jardin Union Free parking but you can not leave or you must find your own parking elsewhere and the hotel will not help. The staff is not friendly or helpful, breakfast included but its coffee, one scrambled egg, and small juice, you can get a better room and breakfas
Free breakfast (not just a piece of fruit and toast like most hostels, but an actual free breakfast and they did not complain when you asked for seconds). Honestly the breakfast was fantastic and was the best that I have had at any hostel ever (and that is out of probably 20-25 hostels in my life). Great art hung around the building and beautiful balcony overlooking the city with lounge chairs to hang out on Good value Large storage lockers to put your stuff in Free drinking water Very friendly and helpful staff If in Guanajuato again, I definitely plan to stay here. One of the best decorated hostels with the best breakfast ever. The stairs up to the hostel are really intense (especially if you have a mildly heavy bag) Not directly in the city center (still a beautiful location nonetheless)
