Room was specioius and staff good
The location to the old city, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the personal touches, the size of the room and the amenities I would suggest that the hot breakfast items in the buffet be put on warming trays to kep the food hot
Atmosphere, design, the restaurant and services, the breakfast, the position. Big rooms, well furnitured, quiet. Cleaning services in the room.
Nice hotel, polite staff, good location, well furnished rooms; it was a good choice, to visit this hotel
The location was good, just a few minutes from the Altstadt. Breakfast was ok, although a bit overcrowded (including the staff)! We had a double room and a single one. The double was quite large and confortable. The main building has no wireless connection to the internet, although they say that the wi-fi is everywhere in the hotel. The single rooms are a bit old and they look like they really need some much welcomed refurbishment. The biggest issue i had with this hotel was the noise made by the cleaning crew!! At 7 in the morning they started to do the cleaning! It was unbareble!
very nice hotel, good position, rooms well refurbished. 4-star hotel!
It is excelently placed in Graz, very clean and well maintained and organized, pleasant staff. Gives very good value for a very reasonable price. Hotel own parking available close by and OK price.
Restaurant,Bar, smoking allowed Late check-in
Very Central, excellent for short break
I stayed in the Admiral Suite this time (my second visit to this hotel) as I wanted to have the extra luxury at a reasonable price. It was indeed all I expected and more.
Great location, great staff Bed was too soft/old. We were in a double room and one bed was worse than the other.
Excellent location, huge room, decoration. A little bit too hot in the room.
I really loved the atmosphere in hotel and really kind an helpful staff. Room is very nice big and really clean. Breakfast is very rich with different kinds of food, for all tastes. I especially enjoyed dinners at "Winter Garten" restaurant with delicious food and really nice piano music playing in the background. You should visit the hotel coffee house, where you can taste the very best of hotel made cakes such as "Erzherzog-Johann-Torte" and "Wanda, Sacher-Masoch Torte" and many others really great dessert and coffee. I also recommend that you visit "Ernst Fuchs Bar" in the evenings where you can enjoy in various delicious cocktails and drinks, made and served by really nice staff. I'll be definetly back again and again.
lot of space, no crowd, availability and silent
It was my 3rd stay and I liked it very much, as before. Especially nice the Ernst Fuchs Bar, which is famous for good cocktails and a cosy refuge for smokers.
Very comfortable, good price, good location, great breakfast etc. There are lots of things to like about the hotel but the thing that set it apart for me was the range of services included in the price: international calls, car parking, wifi and minibar.
The room was really nice. A good breakfast. Staff were good. A really nice place to stay. No - it was all good. Maybe a little pricey, but maybe all the hotels in the area of that standard cost that much.
The hotel staffs were really kind. Breakfast was good. Nothing really.
The hotel was very nice and food was good value for money. very contemporary and new!. The only refreshments that were provided in the room were the ones they were selling and very expensive too!
Excellent internet access. Clean, modern facilities. Minor details. Toilet too high, shower splash guard too small.
Efficient staff, friendly and courteous. the rooms are clean, comfortable and pleasant I would like to see alternative dining facilities
I liked the location, the friendly though professionist staff, the cleanliness of the room, the relaxing bed, perfect three stars hotel it's just a suggestion - to add more English channels on TV
Available late check-out
Friendly, helpful staff and excellent location
wonderfull location, big and good designed rooms, friendly stuff Parking garage is to fare from hotel and charged add.
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Everything was great
room was big, bathroom was huge, silence in neighbourhood, location - in the very centre of the city the parking place it's about 500 m away
The whole trip was a blast. This hotel and city was not an exception!
Very good location, almost in the city centre. Hotel has an excellent atmosphere, very friendly and helpfull staff, nice and large rooms. Although the hotel is in the city, the location is very quiet. Good breakfast ! Price / quality ratio very much OK. No wireless internet connection
Very kind staffs who can tell what you need about Graz.
excellent breakfast, good location to walk the city The reception closes very early, and never seems to be available. When you ask questions, they are very uninterested for a 4 star hotel. I also did not find the rooms reflected the brochures whatsoever. It is not a design hotel, and the rooms resemble a bed and breakfast by canadian standards. Save your money and go elsewhere
Excellent location, professional and friendly staff.
good staff service and breakfast hotel computer was old and did not function most of the time
The Staff.. Yes, the construction outside was too noisy...
Art and design were everywhere even in the stairs to the garage, in the swimming pool... No complaints
Cleaniness, bathroom Staff, location, breakfast
The hotel staff were incredible--they could not have been nicer, or more hospitable. The room was very spacious and clean. All of the facilities are always available and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel's design is very interesting, but its usability suffers for the sake of its aesthetics. The keys to the rooms are attached to rather large acrylic blocks, so many guests left their keys with the reception. I saw a guest walk into a glass wall that separates the elevators from the door. Also, the doors to the rooms have door knobs that do not turn, and we had difficulty getting into our room. Of course, our time spent at the hotel bar may have contributed to our difficulty. All in all, a small price to pay I suppose.
Spacious room, excellent breakfast (freshly cut fruit every morning), the hotel is light / modern, easy access parking garage, good room facilities / accessories The area wasn't the most appealing - a ten minute walk to the city centre.
Location, design, clean,we got an upgrade to a room with kitchen and massive fridge. 24 hr bar and swimmingpool !! View from the balcony
Everything!! The best hotel i've been in my life!
Smart, modern looks. Staff were very friendly indeed- allowed an early check-in. Slightly out of town but not really a problem.
It was all good! All the basics were right. On top of that, it's funky and different, so much better than a carbon copy of every other hotel! Breakfast was excellent, the room was excellent, the staff were very helpful (this included recommending a restaurant when our first choice was fully booked, then ringing up and reserving us a table!) The bed was wonderful. The pool looked great but we didn't get chance to use it...Overall I would say this was a terrific stay, one of the best hotels ever. Parking seemed a bit expensive...10 Euros a day...but it was secure/underground.
A very nice hotel in excellent central location in Graz! the staff was very friendly and competent! The room was nice! just a minor detail, but the minibar contained eristoff vodka, which seemed a little out of place as such a low qualitiy vodka should not be offered in a higher quality hotel!
Good location. Great wintergarden serving as a breakfast room. Difficult getting suitcases to the room with many steps and doors to negotiate.
This was the best hotel in which I stayed for the entire time I was away in Europe for six weeks. The staff were incredibly attentive, and responded quickly to our every request/need. It seemed that nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was well worth the money. I would say amazing! No it was just fantastic and I would recomment this hotel to anyone who was travelling and staying in Graz!
The overall impression is good, decorations are unique. the sanity is clean and people are helpful. Location is sound. Free WiFi is provided. No
Location, staff, room, the whole hotel as a concept nothing, it was as I expected
My Wife And I Had A Great Stay With You In Graz. We Will Recommend To Many. Love Your Staff. Keep Doing What Your Doing. Great Work.
Very pleasant and efficient staff. Excellent 'computerised' car park facility! Perfect position for city centre and noise not an issue. The original artworks and period furnishings reflect the ambience of Austria so well - a well balanced blend of modern facilities with traditional appeal. Well done, would definitely stay again.
Everything! My next trip to Europe will be based around coming back to this hotel for as long as possible! You won't find better value for money. The staff are amazing and the hotel beyond compare!
I appreciated the most the appropriate attitude of the personnel in the front desk ! Very helpfull, good communication skills, great english ! I stayed in a room at the first floor who's windows were facing the main street. Apart from the thick, opaque curtains they did'nt had translucent ones as well, therefore during the day you could not have natural light into the room . If you were to open the curtains the people from the street would have seen everything in the room, consequently you were forced to keep them closed.
Excellent facilities; very large room well furnished; personal touches such as welcome card, complimentary welcome bottles of water; free wifi for laptop; friendly, helpful staff. Could not figure out how to use free wifi for iPhone. Euro 17.00 for breakfast is a tad pricey.
The staff were very welcoming and always most helpful
Being charged 34euros for breakfast on top of the room rate means i will not stay at this hotel agian! Total rip off, sorry to say.
Nice and clean room, comfortable and quiet hotel, polite staff, free parking, reasonable wi-fi internet It's unusual recepion staff to be unavailable from 10 p.m. in such hotel category. TV channels in German only
fantastic! Naked old guys in the sauna...not good!
Modern rooms, good breakfast, free cable internet connection in room. No reception 24h/day, no wi-fi in room, no easy to find out
Very good breakfast, free parking space, good position if you are with car (near shopping centers and 5km from the center). Room was comfort, new and corresponds to pictures on the web. Very nice Spa, nice small indoor pool, it was like our private pool, nobody else was there. We had fast internet in the room. bar is not expensive. Excellent value for money. There is no night shift at the reception, we did not need it, but for this quality of hotel it is a little bit strange.
The warm welcome with the readiness to help. The breakfast was indeed very good as was the service. The hotel was clean and we found it to be a decent location. We have no complaints whatsoever.
I liked the facilities of the hotel. Swimming pool and Sauna, everything really clean and modern. Lots of space in the room. The only complain is that the restaurant wasn't open on Sunday evening for dinner, but nevertheless it was a great experience and would recommend this place to any friend.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great leisure facilities.
Spa Must be signs in English...is everything in Deutch...
Very good breakfast. Has a very nice pool & sauna.
All the staff were polite and good humoured. The room was kept spotlessly clean. The location is peaceful and within easy reach of both the airport and the city. Cost of a taxi from the Hauptbahnhof to the hotel was €15. If you go by bus, it takes about 15mins and is within the Graz zone 101 (€9.20 for a weeks season ticket). You can also take the GKB train to either Graz Strassgang or Webling. However, if you want the exercise, you can walk there in 45mins. There are a couple of good places to eat in the village.
Personlig og vennlig service.Praktisk, rent, pent, sentralt og intimt.Utmerkt i kombinasjon kulturopplevelser, bybaserte utflukter.Topp frokost. Blir litt kjedelig ved lengre opphold.
Bra service og veldig bra frokost, veldig koselig hotell.
Frokost, gjeste-PC. Unødvendig å skifte håndklær hver dag.
The room was absolutely huge, well equipped and clean.
Free parking, code based self service for keys Room was declared as a non smoker's, but did smell heavily of stale smoke; Room was not cleaned properly, ie there was perishable foodstuff in the cupboard left by the previous occupant. I was denied any discount on this.
Beliggenheten, Hyggelig personal, bra frokost. Varme på bad og bedre vanntrykk i dusj.
Gangavstand til sentralstasjon, gamlebyen og sentrale deler av byen, hovedattraksjoner som byens uttsiktsted, klokketårnet og festning.
The staff have made all efforts to solve every problem so we feel grateful. The location is very good - Quiet and close to the center. The spa close after 8 pm. This is not reflected in the Web.
very friendly and helpful. rooms a bit tired but good dining room. well-located.
if i will be in Graz again i will stay in this hotel. good location, very helpful staff, good price.
Clean, Staff very good, excellent location, rooms are very nice the SPA isn't so good, small piscine, sauna is available few hours a day
Staff frienddly and parking facilities very comfortable. Though guests were told that breakfast is served until 10 a.m., the first morning at 9.30 a.m. the buffet was nearly empty and not properly refilled.
the quality of the food was excellent ! the rooms large and cosy
Nice hotel with good facilities and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Swimming pool/sauna a welcome facility. Also free Internet acces sinc. from a communal computer. My room was very sparse and very dark (big tree right in front of my small window!). Considering I was there for 4 nights and the hotel was far from full, not a good allocation.Internet connection (cable only - no WIFI) didn't work and was not sorted out in 4 days. Breakfast is too expensive at 12 Euros per person. Moreover, if one arrived at 09:40 (deadline is 10, which is tight - most hotels of this standard set 11 as their deadline), very little was left since the staff not only had not replenished things but had actually cleared things away!
The hotel was located very near to the city-park (1 minute walk) and the city centre (5-10 minute walk), close to some nice bars and restaurants. The warm water supply wasn't that great. While having a shower the temperature changed quite often to cold.
The hotel staff were not hospitable towards me, one hung up the phone on me during a conversation!
it is very centered, very convenient and walk distans from everywhere in the city. the bed was comfortable. nice Bar. I had problems with the Internet connection at my room and there was nobody proffesional to help me with that. I ended not having an Internet in my room though I needed to work, and also I was not offered a discount for the room fee. this hotel is too expensive for what he offers.
I enjoyed my stay at the jufa gastehaus graz (on 11th september 2009). the room was in a quiet location, it was clean and comfotable. Breakfast was very good and the coffee tasty. Recommended. A small bar of soap in the bathroom would have been useful.
Basic rooms, but really painstaking and very wide. By bus you can reach very easly the city center, and the bus stop it's just around the corner. Staff polite and kind.
breakfast, near to the city it was much too loud; kids made party on the floor until late in the night (3.oo a.m.) every day!!!!
large, clean room, plenty of hot water for shower, good parking, good location, good breakfast the first room we were given smelled like the sewer had backed up, which the reception person said is often the case with that room/floor. She gladly offered us a second room, which was fine...but I really wasn't too pleased to have to make three trips up and down to the reception because of a problem they supposedly often have. After returning to the reception the first time to explain the problem and get a new room key, I asked if I could simply return the key to the first room in the morning, but was told no, that I must bring it right away. Since it was their problem in the first place I would have thought them to be a bit more helpful and possibly send someone up to get the key or let me bring it in the morning.
Kind and courteous staff! Very impressive! I will look for their locations where ever I am traveling. I liked their location, the spacious grounds, the restaurant, the cafe.... Only that the doors don't lock without the key.... when they shut, they are always unlocked.... not common for hotels... but this was no real problem either.
restoran, reception hall comfort, furniture, there is no soap and towels in rooms, dirty walls....
Room very clean & bright, though small & bare. Whole facility very nice & well-maintained. About a 15-20 minute walk to train station & main attractions.
Very bad conditions and extremly high price. Probably it suits for extreme tourism fans with their own sleeping bags, their own camping mugs with used packets of tea, but not for family travellers. Rooms and shower and towels are so used, and, probably not clean also, so you need to stay at boots in the room and use our own towels.
The hotel is quite cheap in comparison to others. There is a parking for the hotel guests (2 Euro per night). The meal is quite good.
The breakfast was fantastic. This was the best part. Also, the person who was working Thursday night when I checked in was very nice and made me feel welcome, which was nice since I had just been traveling by train for 16 hours. The rest of the staff was awful. The rudest I have ever seen at any hostel. Both mornings I tried to ask questions of the reception area and got one word answers without even a smile. Maybe it is because I asked them if they spoke English? It felt clear to me that the main business of the location was the rock climbing wall and that I was just a nuisance. I felt very unwelcome.
