Location. Breakfast was not good. One morning there was nothing available. Another there were no plastic forks etc. it was the same cold scrambled eggs every day. It was not very clean. Glasses were sticky. My room was not tended to one day despite my being gone for over eight hours during the day. When I called to let them know and asked for clean glasses I was told that it would take at least 45 minutes to bring them up. They also charge ten dollars a day extra for parking even though it is a rural hotel with plenty of parking. I have stayed there before and it was a bit better. I will not stay there again. It is very expensive and really not worth it.
When we left the Hyatt and wee done with it We asked for a quiet room and were placed as far from the lobby as possible with our room facing the freeway and train!! There idea of quiet is being away from the elevator!! The heater was VERY noisy and kept me up all night!! We asked for early check in and they couldn't accommodate us. The receptionist was not friendly and made us wait without telling us she was done with us. She should not work there!! The pre check in on Kayak was a waste of time. We will NEVER stay there again!! I have tried to communicate our displeasure with Hyatt but could not find a contact email.
The morning breakfast is fantastic, the rooms were clean and modern and very friendly staff. there's is an actual train
The downtown Davis location is great, although too close to the railroad! The cocktail hour and the breakfast are nice. The parking situation is tough. We had to park in public parking, and were very lucky to find a spot there.
The large size room and the breakfast. Everything was just fine.
We were very pleased with the complimentary breakfast: everything from freshly made waffles to custom omlettes. Train tracks are close and that will bother some, but not our family
Staff was super helpful and aired my room. I get migraines and the aired room didn't bother me. The location was perfect to park and walk, or ride bikes, all over Davis and the campus. We window shopped and had a huge selection of restaurants and coffee shops. We brought our road bikes, and the elevator accommodated two of us well and was super convenient in relation to car, lobby, and room. Decor was light and tasteful. Lobby was neat with art exhibition. Breakfast was fantastic.Good coffee. Bee Kind products (though I couldn't use them due to scent). The train was no bother. AC worked great. Fridge, microwave, plus a Keurig were useful and clean. Loved keeping car out of sun in their parking garage. Carpet issues - I stepped in something soapy/sticky in my socks, and there were a few dirt spots a good steam cleaning would fix. The sheets would be soft if it weren't for the slight beading, though it didn't keep me from sleeping well.
Newly remodeled rooms. Great breakfast. Some of the doors leading in and out were unlocked and didn't require a key to get in. Felt a bit unsafe.
The room was modern and comfortable. It was convenient. Breakfast options were fine. I was nervous when I saw the earplugs but it wasn't too loud

The room was very nice! We stayed 3 nights and our sheets never got changed even though we did not put the card on the beds like you were supposed to if you did not need them changed. When I am staying in a hotel room, one of the perks for me is getting into fresh sheets.
Nice clean room, though rather small. It was hard to walk past the desk chair to get across the room. Bed was very comfortable. Nice breakfast. Right in town so easy walking. A bit close to train tracks.
Very clean and comfortable. Terrific location in downtown Davis. Quiet.bikes available tomorrow. Very friendly and professional staff. No
Love this location in Davis. Have stayed at most of the hotels near UC Davis and this works in terms of location and quiet night hours - in general. You can walk to restaurants, businesses and Farmer's Market with ease. Recently renovated, very clean.

The room looked nice & clean, very welcoming Nothing, everything exceeded my expectations.
Hotel was recently remodeled. Staff was very nice and the free breakfast was great. Had to keep the window open due to fumes from the remodel. Once that dissipates this hotel will be great!
breakfast was good. Did not live up to the pics online. You know it's a bad sign when there are 4 sets of earplugs on the table in the room. mariachi at the Mexican food place across the way and road noise. Room was small the sink was.in the room not the bathroom.
Location. Smell. Trash was not emptied was full of moldy pasta. Also, the toilet had a phantom flush every 15 minutes. The plumbing in the cottage we were in was rather noisy.
Breakfast was not included
Beautiful view!!!! hard to get regulated the hot water, thin walls, very loud and you can hear every conversations even the cell phone from all rooms no only your neighbors
Upon check-in, we were given a room that was still occupied. The following morning someone walked into our room while we were sleeping.
Our first room had blood on the walls. We then moved rooms only to be placed in a room that wasn't cleaned. When we were moved again our room was still dirty but by then we had missed our original plans we had made. We stayed in the third room. The only thing the hotel did was remove a parking charge (which feels like something that should be free for guests anyway). Upon checking out a staff person made a very inappropriate drug related joke to my partner that made us both uncomfortable. When trying to order food from the bar I enquired about the cooking oil as I have food allergies and the staff said she didn't know and refused to find out what was used. I felt very uncomfortable, unsafe and dirty the entire trip. Definitely will not be staying at the Hyatt again.
Very family friendly central location. Hot tub was not hot and it was 60 and raining.
Staff were very nice. Location is excellent. Room was dusty and had finger prints in the bathroom. There was a long black hair in the bed.
Loved every moment. Staff was very welcoming. Definitely will consider staying there again. No complaints
The staff was amazing
I was there with 3 young children. Very courteous and helpful staff. Pool was perfect for the kids. Breakfast was good, fast and reasonably priced. The hotel is clean and quiet hours were respected. We were there for a reception on the 15th floor which was also fantastic.
Great location. Walking distance to restaurants. Donut shops. Thrift store shopping everything. We stayed for an athletic event but had some time to do other stuff. Close to a 7 eleven if you need a quick snack and self parking was across the street but easy to get to. A lot of homeless in the area but there is nothing the hotel can do about that. Just be cautious when walking at night.
We attended a function in the downtown area and the location was perfect. Room key did not work initially, I called the front desk from a house phone and an employee checked my identification and opened the door, he returned a short while later with a new key.
Clean rooms. The TV service is worst I have seen anywhere. Very basic service. A major basketball game is on ( Warriors ) and they did not have the channel, really! This is a business hotel in Sacramento. I go to the lobby bar and they have two flat screens circa 2005. Spend $1400 at Costco for two new flat screens. They missed the attention to detail that is required in this market. Will not stay there again.
Clean, modern room Did not have free parking or WIFI
Downtown location. Good valet parking service. No minibar
hotel staff there was no refrigerator; it cost to use wi fi; it was too expensive for one bed that was advertised as a double; it was noisy.
Proximity to convention center, willingness of staff to accommodate requests
Location. Cannot believe the room have no Internet connection included in the price.
Location and room Staff didn't seem to know the area. I had to go to a coffee shop to even know what neighborhood the hotel was in.
The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were lovely. The reception staff were not very friendly or helpful. They didn't seem suited to the service industry. The concierges were very helpful and friendly.
I loved the room service breakfast. And how close it was to everything to do in downtown Sacramento. I had such a blast and everyone was pleasant and helpful during our stay. Definitely staying here again in the fire
The Lobby, the Gym, the pool and the rooms are great. I also enjoyed the very friendly and helpful staff during the Sunday Brunch. Having to wait in line for 5 minutes for the elevator in my floor and up to 10 minutes in the lobby. There was a lot of people and the elevators took forever.
Shuttle transportation to downtown was nice. It took me forever to check in! They had no record of my reservation, front desk had to call getaroom.com to confirm my reservation. Even though, I had booked three hours prior to arriving. The room smelled miserably. I The shower drain was plugged and the water would not go down the drain! Many items in the room were broken (cabinet drawer) or looked very cheap and old.
I liked the configuration of the room with the comfortable couch and the bed. The fact that when I exited the hotel property I had to make a u-turn to get back to the freeway.
Shuttle service superb. Staff helpful. Location - close to airport. Room was not to the standard I found the previous visit. Not cleaned properly, radio broken, no phone directory on the hotel phone. Window filthy.
It was right off the freeway They changed me from a king size bed to 2 queens my mistake but they worked it out. The room was spacious Location was a bit on the seedy side of town I forgot a book & they would not accept my credit card for shipping it to me, sent it COD, thought $16.70 was a bit unreasonable.
I stayed at the Palm Court during a 3-day UC Davis new student orientation session, and found the peace and quiet away from the campus hubbub refreshing. This hotel was clean, updated, with most of the amenities you'd expect in a brend-new cookie-cutter type chain hotel - but with the random charm of an older property. My suite was roomy, comfortable, with a very nice updated bath-shower and separate bedroom and living rooms with individual flat panel tvs and reliable wireless high speed internet throughout. The only thing lacking was a microwave and a stocked minibar, but the refrigerator was useful and there was a wet bar sink/counter in the living area. The sofabed/couch was what you'd expect, not too comfy for sitting, and i didn't test the sleeping comfort. Overall, a quiet, comfortable, clean, and charming downtown hotel, in a safe neighborhood, within walking distance of lots of restaurants and galleries, etc. It's possble to walk to the UC Davis campus, but I wouldn't rec...
The staff was really very nice. There was a mistake with the online room booked I was told but the hotel Honored the booking. Right down town Davis, perfect for walking to local shops , morning coffee and dinner.
Great experience, the reviews lead me astray but I'm overall satisfied with my hotel choice. Enjoyed the amenities. Disappointed that the hot tub wasn't hot, or even warm. The knob was on, but no jets. Sad, because I only booked this place for the hot tub and for the decent price.
Booked online expecting a quality Wyndham hotel. This place should not have a Wyndham flag. It is a old apartment building made into a hotel so rooms are spacious. However the walls need painting, the bathroom needs renovated and the place needs serious cleaning.
The Staff was nice. Hotel was dirty and the rooms were worse. Trash from previous occupant still there. Disgusting bathroom!
For the money, the room was rather large and you get a free hot breakfast. Staff was very friendly and the workout room was adequate. We did not pay for elegance so we did not expect perfection. We were there for a quick stay and this worked out great for us.
Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean with no outside noise, great breakfast, good selection of channels on TV, A/C was very cold, nice kitchenette with everything needed to prepare simple meals! No major complaints, but a couple disappointments. The bed was nice and comfortable when I layed down, but by 4am, my low back and neck both hurt and I wasn't able to lay down for the last couple hours of sleep. It may have been more the huge pillows than the memory foam bed, I'm not sure. Also, the water didn't stay one temperature during shower. It kept going cold for a few seconds before warming up again.
the managers reciption the roaches dirty bathroom
The beds were new and very comfortable, which was a nice surprise! The towels were old and thin, some were still soiled after their wash. The hotel needs to know it's time to change the towels and upgrade. I would have given it 5 stars otherwise.
The beds were very comfy! The breakfast was good. We booked this hotel for the pool and hot tub, we had a long trip and really wanted a good soak... When we got there we were informed that the hot tub was down and the pool was heated, but only to 70 degrees...which felt very cold. My kids still insisted on a swim, and we had a lot of people stop by and tell us how cold their swim was earlier and that they though we were crazy.
The staff was very helpful when needed. We upgraded to larger room it was no.problem.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Airport shuttle was convenient. In a strange part of Sacramento. Room was kind of gross: saw a couple small cockroaches, mascara on the pillow cases, nasty carpet. Overall was not worth the price.
The bed very comfortable. Felt roomy. Difficulty with card/key for room.
NOTHING Everything was a problem 100% honest
Very professional and friendly staff.
Staff was friendly. Orbitz booked me for two rooms (only wanted to book one, only got confirmation about one), but the front desk upon check in cancelled the second one with no problems. The hotel is right along the highway, and the windows did nothing to block out the sound of the cars. The real kicker was the internet didn't work the entire time i was there. I was there for a conference at UC Davis and needed internet to for work in the evenings. Couldn't maintain a connection, front desk offered no solutions. The coffee maker was broken (missing a piece) and the rooms were very dark.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful
The restaurant downstairs was awesome
Sophisticated decor, helpful staff, "beautiful people" hot spot. The noise from both the street and partiers went on until 3 a.m. Motorcycle engines revving, police called on issues in the street, shouting and yelling in the street, all echoed right up to our 7th floor room.
What an amazing historical hotel with a great downtown location. I would recommend this hotel and we'll be back.
Lots of issues with room - lights not working, TV issues upon arrival and "pat" answer from engineer (remote needs new battery which we knew wasn't the issue but a problem with cable company). First night dinner in "temp" restaurant horrible. Didn't charge for one meal but just no attention to detail, wrong order. Experience better when Joie property.
Overall friendly service. Responsive staff. Comfortable rooms.. Very unique atmosphere.. Staff forgot to address gold status(free breakfast) until I checked out. Paid for two breakfasts I didn't need to...I forgot to remind clerk at check in.. This seems to be a systematic Marriott issue.
The staff was great, well trained, accommodating and helpful The room was awful! It only had 2 tiny Windows, about 1'x2'. The mattress was old and soft, we kept slidding into the middle and did not get a good nights rest.
Stayed overnight for a girls weekend. I was given a complimentary upgrade upon arrival and I was very pleased with my room as well as its amenities. Beautiful Chinese soaking tub and every toiletry you can think of. Linens were excellent quality and the bed was very comfortable. We were able to enjoy the restaurant as well for breakfast and the menu and drinks were to die for! I had a very hard time deciding what have. Fresh squeezed OJ mimosas and bloody Mary's were amazing. I can't wait to have a romantic overnight with the hubby very soon!
Excellent staff. Wonderful old and superbly renovated building. Three blocks from the Capitol. Room was small.
Made a reservation for 2 guest in a queen size room. Got there and checked in @7pm and was notified that I was upgraded to a king size room, big plus on their part! The room was cozy and comforting. It also includes a beautiful bar setup along with a wonderful street view. To be completely honest, the one thing I did not like was the shower. The rest of the room was was decorated and painted in its own style including the bathroom. But once you open the shower curtain all you see is plain, boring, tile. Both room and bathroom give off some bomb vibes, except the tile. Just kills the ambient. Other than my pity first world problem place was outstanding.
The room was nice and clean. Nice appointments. Very comfortable. Large shower. The door on the bathroom was a slider and did not actually shut.
The location is nice, and the valet staff friendly and responsive. We went to a concert that night and arrived back at the hotel at 11 p..m. The restaraunt was closed, and there is no room service avaiilable after this time. The restaurants nearby become nightclubs at this hour, and there are lines to get in. We also could not access our car because valet closes. I also felt that there now needs to be a few fixes or upgrades done. Our room was clean but there was no bathroom lock it was broken...paint touch ups need to be done, and the TV remotes replaced with easier ones to use. This hotel is best for business travelors, event guests (wedding) where they don't need to leave the hotel.
Decor and comfort were the best. Very trendy, great food at Grange, valet, bell boy and front desk were exceptional... with the exception of one night girl. The only staff member that " couldn't see" the LARGE ( 3 feet in length ) wine or blood or whatever stain was on my curtains in my original room. Aside from actually completing the transaction of switching my room she was not helpful. My new room keys that she gave me were only 1 out of 2 working. She didn't offer a bell cart, I had to ask. The next morning upon leaving at 5:30 and asking them to check the original room for left behind belongings- she told me " you can go check yourself I'll make you another key". AND she never alerted housekeeping for follow up with the issue. I felt like I had to do all the work for a 4 star boutique hotel in mid town. The only reason I was so displeased with that interaction was that everyone else was outstanding.
Nothing had to change rooms twice, room is dirty, morning breakfast doesn't have many options.
It was easy to find a prostitute Grounds were kinda dirty. Poor security. Decent hotel but prices are so cheap that druggies and dirt bags stay there. Up your rates a bit and hire security and someone to pressure wash the nasty sidewalks. Free breakfast sucked, I would have paid for a good breakfast.
The owners have clearly sunk some money into the property to modernize the rooms as well as beautifying everything. They have some work to do before it will be completed, but you can tell the owners care about the the place. We were bummed that the pool was out of order. But it was out of order because they are fixing everything on the property. Seriously, this place is going to be the crown jewel on this exit in Sacramento.
The location was freeway close and fairly close to downtown Sacramento. It was inexpensive. The beds were comfortable. The exterior of the hotel was dirty and rundown. The first room we were given smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. There was a lot of smokers at this hotel. There were only rooms with a single king size bed or rooms with two double beds. No rooms with two queen size beds.
The bed was comfortable and the television was big. Also the television channels were a good variety. My room smelled like someone had been sick and there was a huge wet spot on the floor. I called the manager and he never got back to me. The staff sent people to spray air freshner which only made the smell worse. I had a non smoking room but it smelled heavily
We asked if we could do an early check in for an up charge they said as long as the room was ready we could do it. I was told there was not gonna be an extra charge. Later on the day they called me and said we needed to pay an extra day. Did not even get an apology for their mistake. They need to get all their staff on the same page.
The room was inexpensive and looked clean. Front desk staff was friendly. The room had a strange smell that took a few hours with the windows open to dissipate. The continental breakfast was flavorless. Toast, bagels, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, juice and coffee all kind of tasted the same. The staff had to cancel a customer's reservation because the police were called due to the excessive comings and goings of random people from the room. On the last night there a couple was having a vocal and colorful argument outside my hotel room.
The price is good. The room was clean on the surface, but it felt dirty. The grounds felt grimy. It was okay. It needs some work and remodeling other than flat screen TVs.
nothing the floor in the room was wet, because the sprinklers came on outside and flooded the room during the middle of the night. When I woke up and put my feet on the floor, stepped in a big puddle.
Very close to the freeway for easy access. The room and breakfast were OK. The first assigned room was supposed to be nonsmoking, but as soon as I walked in it reeked of cigarettes. The front desk was very willing to accommodate my request for a different room which was fine.
IT Was easy to get to and the staff was very nice
The lock plate for my door was loose in the frame, so the door never seemed to be completely shut. My room smelled of cigarette smoke. And my room wasn't cleaned one of the days I stayed, probably because I slept in late. It isn't a deal-breaker, but it would have been nice to have been notified that they skipped my room, and gave me an option to request a room cleaning later.
Westins are always great, they are always so clean and classy and well ran. It's the reputation. But this hotel specifically is amazing, it's riverside, fairly priced - I mean you get a bang for your buck here. I know people complain about having to pay for wi-fi, but even the price is reasonable. Either way, get off your electronics and enjoy the peaceful view. That's not even the half of it, the service here is amazing. Everyone is happy to help, open doors, offer suggestions and recommendations. Kudos to the management, concierge, bellboys, restaurant workers, maids, valet, receptionists.
The remodeled rooms are large and comfortable.
I liked the layout of the place it has been my favorite place to stay for our night outs for a long time now and I am very disappointed in them these last couple nights. I love the shutters on the Windows in the 3rd building and the way they keep there pool sparkling clean. Where do I start... well the staff to begin with was very rude we got to breakfast with my 3year-old son 2 minutes (9:02) late and the front desk attendant that had been there all night claimed she did not have the keys to open up any of the food that she had just put away 2 minutes ago. Wich we new was a lie She just didn't want to hassle with us and made it very clear... the next night we stayed they put us in a non-smoking room but when we arrived it was so stuffed up and smelled like an ashtray I couldn't even breath no way I was going to have my son there. We did get a new room but when we got to the new one we encountered many more problems... TV was broken (took them 2 hours to bring us a new one) bathroom was dirty (hairs on the toilet seat) many other places in the room wee disgusting like it hadn't been cleaned all the way... we contacted the staff and corporate and neither could offer us a solution... this time the front fest attendant was extremely rude! She even ended our conversation with pretty much telling me to F* off... really who does that?
Free breakfast was ok and was close to uc Davis and freeways The restroom was falling apart shower was in bad shape and pool was in bad shape also it wasn't functional
Clean, friendly staff, very comfortable bed. The ice machine is awardly located.
Filthy Run Down Dim lighting Incompetent Staff
Especially liked the service & the generous breakfast. The floor didn't have carpet & the room next door looked like it had been broken into.
The location Rooms to small for $147.+20 for vallet that was slow to return car. We stayed on 3rd deck, not a good choice.reception phone was loud waking us up. Last year we paid $220.00 for 4th deck, it was better, but way over priced. Next time i will try embassy suites.
The photo on hotel.com was not the room I received at all. The room was extremely small and a full sized bed, not a queen. Overall it was quaint, adorable, and perfect for me. If it had been a night with my husband, I'm not sure we would fit.
Very unique stay on a restored paddle boat. The restaurant and bar were very nice and food was good. The rooms were small but comfortable. It is a boat so everything is small and tight. The ambiance was quaint and wonderful. The outside deck was very nice by the bar overlooking the river. Old Sacramento is right there with many little shops, bars and restaurants. You can walk to the Capital Mall also. There wasn't much to not like. Just be careful if you are tall like my husband. The ceilings and doors in the cabins are short. He hit his head a few times before he learned to duck! Also if you are a light sleeper being ear plugs as the train tracks are close by and the trains go through several times a night.
We liked everything Including the complementary breakfast.
I stay in sacramento a lot and had always wanted to try this. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. I had dinner at the Bar and their complimentary breakfast, both were good. I also slept well. I would stay here again if I were to bring my son on a business trip, as I know he would enjoy the boat. Other than that, I would prefer a normal hotel in the future. The facility is a little dated. Not just the classic decor of the boat but the decor in the room etc. the room that I was in was very small as was to be expected. The boat is a little noisy - you can hear people walking out side of your room and the walls are thin. I could hear the people in the room next to me.
I chose the Delta King because of its unique charm. I loved that it was in Old Sacramento which has cute stores, cobblestone streets, and old west buildings. As I crossed the cobblestone street and wooden platform railroad tracks to get to the boat I felt like I was going back in time. I was so excited because I love things that are off the beaten path. I loved all the charming details from the lamps to the faucet knobs, everything was antique. The room was smaller than the pictures let on but cozy. The city view stateroom pictured had a desk, which I was excited about getting work done at. My room did not. The room was very dust and I am very allergic to dust. I checked in late so I tried to make it work. I ran my finger across the phone and the bed frame and they both had a thick layer of dust. The triple lamp over the bed did as well. I didn't sleep well because of the dust. I very nicely asked if someone could dust and change the sheets due to my allergies and the man at the desk seem to take it personally. When I came back later that day, they had made the bed, but not changed the sheets, even though I had left the "change the sheets" sign on the bed. The breakfast voucher is for a very specific breakfast off of their menu. If you want something else the voucher does not apply. Though they were very nice about my egg allergy and gave me yogurt as a substitute. Since the walkways are very narrow, people walk very close to the walls and thus it is very loud. Especially on the weekend when other people are drunkenly walking around the train station. Overall I love the idea, there are just some rough edged that really bring back life in the 1940s.
Historic facility. Very friendly staff. Rooms were a little tight and cramped.
It was a working River Boat +70 yrs ago and has been converted to a first class hotel. Locations and ambiance are wonderful. Woke up in the morning to geese swimming outside our bedroom window, not downtown city/traffic noises! Bathroom needed some TLC work.
Apple and Chris at the front desk were wonderful. Very professional and yet warm at the same time. Top notch staff across the board!
This is my second overnight stay on the Delta King. Love the atmosphere, good food, friendly staff, the price is right, and I've always slept well on the water. Fifteen years ago my family celebrated our son's eighteenth birthday with an evening at a Delta King Murder Mystery dinner.
Check in was efficient and the location is right in the middle of old town Sacramento. Very conveniently located to shops, dining, the new Golden 1 Center. The music at the bar was nice and seemed like a nice place to have dinner. We stayed one night to meet up with family and friends for a Kings basketball game. As expected for a river boat, the rooms are small, and I would recommend a river view room. The sound from adjacent rooms, overhead and hallway is significant which does impact your sense of privacy. The radio didn't work and only had a CD player, no mp3 or phone connectivity. Overall, our one night stay was pleasant.
Breakfast voucher was a nice touch.
The beds were comfy and it was fine for the price I'm pretty sure the carpet was just draped over floor boards, with no actual floor in places. It worked for what I needed. I ordered a queen size, but it was more like a full size.
Great location, easy to walk anywhere in downtown Davis. No conditioner in the bathroom. I recommend not forgetting your toiletries.
The location is excellent, in walking distance to downtown Davis and UC Davis. The alarm clock has USB charger outlets. The AC was kind of noisy. Even when mine was off, the AC of the neighbors was buzzing pretty badly. I had to sleep with earplugs, but admittedly I am a bit sensitive to noise. I was in room 205, so that may matter too.
Excellent location and value for money; located in pretty part of downtown, walking distance to UCD, restaurants, central park,. Good value for money. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. House keeping member of staff were unprofessional and not caring to their clients when asked for help.
Wifi and breakfast available! Easy to check in. No hot tub :(
Clean, low price No extras. No shampoo, no morning pastry/breakfast. Even the "blankets" were barely thicker than the sheets. Better value elsewhere for comparable cost.
The laminate flooring looked nice. Otherwise not much... The staff argued with me over what "internet provided" means. In their view it meant I could buy it for $4.99 a day per device I wanted to connect with..... No amenities at all and a shower that randomly went from hog to scalding to cool at its own whim.
Early check in, late check out; convenient to UC Davis campus Bad TV signal, all channels had bad images; no fax machine or copier
In the lovely town of Davis, very safe and the staff was absolutely wonderful. I was hoping to stay again next week but unfortunately they were all booked up. I was trapped in the bathroom for about 10 mins because the door and door jam have several layers of paint and the door sticks at the top. This coupled with it apparently swelling from the moisture of my shower caused it to really stick so I was stuck in there until I was able to pry it open...not a pleasant feeling...no window, no phone...I was late for my first meeting...A great story though. :) I told the desk clerk and she apologized and said she would have staff check it.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean and appeared well maintained. It's not luxurious, but for UCDAVIS parents trying to find someplace close to stay, it's a great option. None
Very discret location. Very romantic. Great customer Service. No smoking rooms
Rooms were spacious with good layout; the breakfast was adequate We stayed two nights in two different rooms. Both were beyond their prime, but in the first room (#325) the mattress was very old, extremely uncomfortable and the heating/cooling unit incredibly noisy. We hardly slept that night. We asked in the morning to be assigned a different room. The young lady at the front desk was very cooperative, she gave us room 216. The mattress was better and the heating unit perfectly adequate. Both rooms came with kitchenettes with full size refrigerators! We had to turn the refrigerators off at night because they were very noisy.
Great customer service
First time here; very pleased. My regular Sacramento hotel has declined precipitously, so glad to find a substitute: clean, well-maintained. Will consider for all future trips to area. Breakfast could be better. Too many carbs! Which is a constant problem with hotels offering the "continental" style. But as an extended-stay hotel, guests can cook their own. Which I would probably do for a longer stay.
Liked the glasses and wine bottle opener provided in the kitchenette. Liked the towels, bed, and toiletries. Liked that they allow dogs. Clean, comfortable, safe. No fan in the bathroom, and when I opened the door to let the steam out, the smoke detector went off. I opened a window and it turned off immediately. Only one bedside table. Breakfast was bad coffee, granola bars and vending machine quality pastries, bananas, and packaged yogurt.
The staff let me check in early ... very convenient for me and I appreciate that very much .... also overall the staff was efficient and courteous. I got back to the room late at night and the toilet backed up ... very inconvenient ... I had it fixed in the morning ... did not call for service at night ... had driven 150 miles to get to the all day meetings and did not want plumbing work at night. The toilet fixture needs to be brought to current size expectations ... If the toilets are not updated in this location, I will NOT be booking here again. I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the above.
