Good location and nice room. Bed was very hard and the showerhead kept slipping down to bottom of slide
high standard of cleanliness - helpful staff none
location near the station, coffee/tea facilities in the room, breakfast
Location (city centre), helpfulness of staff, quiet, space to work Lack of plugs in wash-basin and bath, would have been useful to have another socket near desk
adjacent to station and also had complimentary tea and coffee in room.
A perfectly equipped, modern and very comfortable small hotel in an excellent position just near the station.
location, very convenience. It's about 3 minutes from the train station. nothing
Quiet environment with all facilities Nothing
Nice, bright, comfortable room. Friendly staff. Quiet hotel. Very near the main railway station in Rennes. Short walk (15 mins) to centre of the city (or you can go two stops on the metro if you are feeling lazy!) If I'm being really picky, the shower was good, but the shower screen was quite narrow, so you had to be careful not to soak the floor (!)
Convenient location - close to bus and train stations and local restaurants. Easy walk to city centre. Comfortable, spacious hotel room.
I like the extra blankets The lifts were too small. No lighting from the lift to rooms at night. The bathtub water drainage was poor, clogged and took a painfully long time to drain.
We were happy with our rooms opening to the garden, but we missed the windows very much. Our friends living on the first floor missed the windows even more... It was funny (if not ridiculous) we had to drive so much to get into the parking lot of the hotel not more than 100 m away!
very old and shabby; nice pictures don't correspond to the poor reality
The hotel was in a quiet location. Good value for money. Overall a satisfactory stay. The walls were thin. The rooms were average - small and basic decor. A little tired. But some renovations were started during our stay.
The hotel was centrally located and the secure parking provided (at a small fee) was a plus. We had originally booked a double room but when we arrived only a twin room was available.
The staff were very friendly & helpful. We got two rooms interconnecting for a family room which was great with two small children.
Friendly staff, excellent evening meal. Poor value breakfast, poor external impression, room furniture poor, I appreciate it was old but it was also worn.
Particularly pleasant and helpful receptionist. Too far out of town center (15 minutes walk) - but there is no 4 star hotel in town center
Close to downtown Rennes. We liked it all.
Excellent restaurant The rather small room had a very small bath and no fixed shower. The bed was far too small in length and width and far too near entrance to bathroom.
Very helpful staff, showed us around, the maps, really really good. Internet worked fine, room was reasonable size and clean. Not enough hot water in the morning in the shower - that was the only real let down. The position is near the station, very convenient but as with most city centre there is a bar nearby so quite noisy in the evening. The hot water (or ratehr insufficent hot water)
No noise from other rooms, closeness to train station and public transport and good choice of restaurants in the vicinity. The supply of hot water for showering ran out after just a few minutes.
Conveniently situated for the railway station. Good basic facilities and clean. The proprietor was polite and helpful. The usual continental buffet style breakfast was availlable at a small extra cost. The room was very small and only had a small window. No complimentary tea/coffee facilities.
Near to restaurants
we stayed in a room for 3 people and it was VERY spacious and clean. the bathroom was enormous. the windows opened to a little green garden and the room was comfortable, well-lit, and wonderful. NA
proximity to railway.helpful staff.close to resturaunts.
Staff were very helpful. WIFI was a benefit. We used the hotel to be close to the station for an onward trip to Paris and booked a triple room for one night. The size of the room was such that I could not recommend it for any longer than a brief one nighter. The parking available via the hotel was only minimally cheaper than using the Station car park (1 euro) but needed a fair walk to and from the hotel. We were disappointed that on arrival we found the hotel had been closed for 2 weeks for renovations and did not open until 5 pm. This left us with several hours to hang around with a packed car and unable to take advantage of the day in Rennes. I would have expected this information to be available to me when booking.
The location next to the train station is excellent. The rooms are comfortable and the wireless coverage good. There is no night service at the reception so that we could not ask about the possibility of leaving the luggage in when we were leaving early. The water temperature setting in shower was rather difficult.
Close to transport, good Internet access, pleasant and helpful staff
very clean and comfortable
