Bed was a bit hard.
This is a very classy hotel and was clean. Upon check in, I was impressed with the layout of the lobby and general condition of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent as a part of my stay. Nice room, big spacious room with a nice layout. Bed was comfortable and noise from adjoining rooms, Hallway was minimal. Airport noise, traffic noise, train noise was waking me all night. Even with the A/C fan running all night. I slept maybe 4 hours all night. Upon check in, I requested a quiet room and the young lady checking me in said, "I never get complaints about noise." She LIED, and placed me on the Busy street side facing the airport. Per other guests, The courtyard on the inside of the hotel is the place to stay if you want a quiet night. Why this little girl who checked me in did not place me on the inside is a mystery, and the asst manager who I spoke with the next morning had nothing to say except, "Ask for an inside room on your next stay" No free room voucher or offer for something extra to make up for the bad night. Poor Form and very unprofessional. Isn't a good night's sleep the reason we pay more for a better hotel room? This place did not fit the bill.
Great staff, very clean and beautiful space. The waiter remembered my name, which is always nice. That I forgot my bathingsuit for the pool!
Very good experience Didnt know how to operate your alarm clock! Must be the blonde in me, lol!
It was easy to get to. It was close to the airport. It had restaurants within walking distance. I'm a single woman. The parking lot (all in the back) is very dark. It is also close to a train track. I was apprehensive about having to leave my room at 4:30 in the morning with poor lighting, construction "stuff" around and trees that skewed what little light there was.
Nothing. Location outside was fine, but the Red Roof Inn in itself was very dirty. The place has contracts with different trucking companies so, if you are a self traveler like I was being a woman then you might want to stay somewhere else. I paid for a room that had stained, smelly bed sheets, some man's underwear under my bed, a girl's hair tie on the bed, and fecal matter stuck on the toilet. I had to leave that night I was so grossed out. My suggestion don't stay there.
Nice free breakfast, even more for only $5. Clean, comfortable rooms, nice bed. Slow internet/wifi
Rooms are dated.
