Great location and staff was very heldil with internet problems I had that has nothing to do with the hotel. Great free breakfast No visitors to room seemed juvenile
Good and large bed. Excellent breakfast choice and excellent breakfast room. Good location near to shopping district in Miraflores Noisy room for two reasons: located at the back of the very noisy elevetors, and one floor up from the swimming pool with terrace where two american ladies had a quite noisy conversation after midnight; limited parking lot, with too limited space for the average car.
Location, quality, staff, view
Very comfortable bed. Fantastic restaurant setting on the 21st floor
decent place, but perhaps a bit tatty around the edges to be considered a true international hotel. That said, the location - both in Miraflores and within the district is excellent. If you want to hit the casino, the two best - Fiesta and Atlantic - at weithin 1 block. If you want to dine in at the hotel, resist the urge as there are numerous restaurants within blocks that are are miles ahead. The staff was excellent and to our surprise honest in assessment of restaurants, etc. Overall, not bad but not 4 star, either.
The staff was not professional
Excellent location in extensive restaurant neigbourhood in Miraflores. Ample (outdoors but guarded) parking space. Excellent bed. buffet breakfast choice rather limited.
location A/C did not work properly
love the location we didn't need to used a rental car, everything was right there if u need a taxi they have some available for u ,I went to with my teenager daughter she didn't complain at all ! perfect wi-fi connection..
Room facilities, location, smile No corporate rates, or/ and special card with gifts....
Spacious rooms. Street noise; minor maintenance items such as faucet leaking.
Good location near many restaurants, bars and 10 mins walk to beach None really except they gave me a room but aircon didn't work. However they quickly and happily changed my room the next day. Very good
The best part of this hotel was the location, it was literally in the heart of Miraflores, close to the main restaurants, entertainment, and shopping districts.
Very friendly and helpful staff who knew english very well. We could store our bags after check out until we left for the airport late evening. We felt very welcome and they even offered us a drink upon arrival. The location is pretty far from downtown Lima, (about 1 hour bus ride). On the other hand it's right in Miraflores, right next to shopping and 20 minutes walking to the ocean. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay!
Good hotel staff friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel. Took a tour to Colonial Lima using the hotel transport, just felt treated like as part of their family. Took a while to process the credit card payment at the hotel.
The staff was very efficient. The rooms were comfortable.
Tasteful and thorough recent renovations. Excellent service from all: front desk, restaurant, doormen. Highly recommended as a hotel that adheres to international standards in comfort and services but is a reliable alternative to the chains.
We loved the massive bed in our room. Apparently, only the rooms X02 have this 'more than King' size bed. So, whatever floor you're on, ask for the 02 room. We stayed on the 7th and 8th floor (=rooms 702 and 802).
For the money, could not ask for much more. Clean, large bed, decent breakfast, and very nice staff.
It is near the indian market and serve a good pisca sour
Our bed was really comfortable. It was great that hotel has 3 computers with internet free of charge. Breakfast was good. Good location. The bathroom was a bit misty. The price was quoted in USD, but it is not possible to pay in USD. The hotel used the excange ratio 1 USD = 3 soles... which is more than official exchange rate (for example: at the same day Peru Rail used exchange rate 1 = 2,8)
Hotel was nice and clean Even though they advertise airport shuttle, it comes at an additional cost: $25.00 each way! I expected that if they advertise an airport shuttle as one of their amenities that it comes included. Wrong. I ended up taking a tourist bus that was direct to the area, and paying $8.00.
The location is very good.
Pleasant, cordial staff. Comfortable bed. Clean room. Convenient location. None.
It's close to parks, historical sites, shops and restaurants. Easy transit options (bus, taxi). Good breakfast. Clean. A bit dated, almost run down. Reminded me of non-tourist hotels in Cuba. Might have been the world's slowest elevator.
Beliggenheten................
PROS: •Most staff is very nice and professional. •The hotel is in a very central location. •The cleaning crew does a great job in the rooms and in the hotel. •The room and the bed were very comfortable. •Rooms are spacious and clean. •The furniture is very nice. •The hotel and rooms have a warm decoration. •The hotel’s restaurant is good and very nicely decorated. •“Enrique” who works in room-service is very good. •The front desk exchanges currency. •The staff at the front desk speaks English. •Mr. Jose Carlos Tafur and Mr. Diego Ramos, at the front desk, are wonderful. Very professional and personable. •During our stay, one of the bellboys, “Javier”, stood out for his hard work and going beyond his bellboy duties to serve the guests. •The check-out was fast and accurate. •Each guest gets a complimentary “Pisco Sour” (the national drink of Peru) upon arrival. CONS: •The check-in was not welcoming. “Michael” was at the front desk when we arrived. We had reserved 2 months in advance, but he was not ready for us. He wasn’t sure if we wanted a queen size (which we had reserved) or 2 twin beds. Furthermore, he never offered us the “welcoming, warm-perfumed towels, (to clean our hands at our arrival) nor the glass of champagne or orange juice” as offered in the website. We did get 2 tickets for 2 Pisco Sours, which was very nice. •We had a medical emergency and needed to call the U.S. “Michael” at the front desk was unable to give us the code needed to be able to call the U.S. from the hotel room. Moreover, he wasn’t helpful and he did not even pretend to try to help us. We found him to be the only staff at the front desk who was very unprofessional and rude throughout our whole stay! All the other staff was the opposite, really professional, polite, and nice. •The hotel has no gym. •There is no concierge. •The hotel does not have the amenities of bigger hotels. •One can hear the loud noise from the street at nights. •The bathroom in our room had a leak and the Jacuzzi was so old, the jets had permanent stains. The bathroom needs to be remodeled.
Cebntral location Miraflores, Close to beach and restaurantes, close for shopping and markets Internet prices should reflect the real true price. The taxes are very high. The room after taxes was USD40.00 more incl. taxes
Bed are very confortable. Junior suite are huge. Staff friendly and helpful Just one bed in the suite
Like the duplex room.
The room had a bunch of "hidden" charges.... I got the same room on expedia after the first two nites with no hidden charges and $20 cheaper per nite.
The entire staff is always nice and attentive to any needs you have. The rooms are huge, two floors with a small kitchen, living room area, one full bath and another half bathroom. Bed is upstairs in a loft and was comfy. Casino is directly on site as well as 3 restaurants. The toilets didn't flush very good, and I couldn't figure out how to switch the shower into bath mode
The hotel personnel is very friendly and well trained to offer the best service possible.
Loved this charming small hotel with an excellent location . The staff was extremely helpful especially Kelly who is the day receptionist. We had a very late flight out and we were allowed us to stay in our room until 3 pm. The breakfast was very good and the common rooms take you back to the beginning of the 1900's. Wifi was excellent also
breakfast and bed
We loved this hotel. The rooms were lovely, large comfortable bed and a great location (close to shops and restaurants in Miraflores). The staff were pleasant and the restaurant served excellent food.
The staff was friendly and informative. The bed is comfy. Breakfast was descent. Nice to have a kitchen with a fridge. Good deal for the money. The room is very out dated.
very friendly doorman, central location in Miraflores, large rooms receptionists not very experienced, rooms towards the front are very noisy due to "Calle de las pizzas" impossible to sleep on week-ends, rooms on third floor are noisy throughout the entire week since gym is just bellow and you can hear the weights of the machines. Windows in rooms towards the front can not be opened.
Close to most facilities and to the business center Too NOISYAir Cond old and too noisy as well.
Very good location.
Great location with friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious with a nice view. Bathroom door did not close due to new door jam.
I liked the kindness of the personal service, the food, the location, the price. My stay there was awsome!
The bed is simply wonderful, after seven days through cusco and Macchupicchu in hostals it was really fantastic to sleep in this hotel. The localization is also excelent very near Miraflores central park The breakfast is not in the same level of the whole hotel.
Large rooms, good bed. Excellent private parking. Location in a very noisy neigbourhood, mainly at night, with disco type of music around until the wee hours of the morning
The staff was helpful and facilities were clean. My bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast on the roof was excellent and staff in the kitchen were nice. Also located near many good bars and restaurants and shopping. Wasn't helpful when we asked for ice and having to be buzzed in and out of the hotel door was a little incovenient, but probably good for security.
