Over 5.000 rom!
The staff was very nice throughout the hotel and casino. When I complained about my room they immediately changed and upgraded my room. Lots of good fast food in the food court. There was a bug in my room. The rooms are old and dated. No tub and expensive- $189 a night. No room service after 2pm and no coffee shop- only fast food.
Limited room service hours, boarding pass machines not working, overall feeling of uncleanliness, poor smoke filtration in casino
Staff very friendly Total surprise when we got there. MGM Properties have changed some things to get more of your money. Self parking is now $8 per day and Valet is $13.50 per day. All the refrigerators were removed from the rooms. You can get one for your room but it costs $25 per day. All the coffee makers were removed from the rooms. You get to go down to the casino and stand in a long line at one of the coffee shops and pay $3.50 or more for a simple cup of coffee in the morning. Oh and a blackjack that usually pays 3:2 has been changed to 6:5 and if you are at a somewhat empty table and want to play 2 hands, you have to play a minimum of double the minimum bet on each hands or you cant play 2 hands. Wont be going back to a MGM Properties casino again. Lastly, getting a drink while gambling was near impossible. Very few waitresses.
no body wash in shower very long line up for check in soft mattress not such good interior design in the room
Nice hotel with plenty of choices for dinner. Buffet breakfast needs more variety and wasn't worth the price.
Was upgraded to king room with strip view and huge tub in the room which was nice. They also comped 3 days worth of resort fees. Good customer service and awesome pools. Moved rooms twice. First room smelled like mold Second room had moldy bathroom and third room was clean however still looked rundown (ceilings peeling etc). Casino is a bit drab but they had a fun fishing slot machine.
Location is ok - Long time check-in; smell and noisy room; self parking garage doesn't work properly .
The location was fine and that is about it. The staff watched a intoxicated woman fall and laughed, I jumped out of the car and assisted while your porter/baggage carriers just laughed at her. Very unprofessional. Bathrooms were just dirty. The staff at the RCI that try to sell you on visiting a time share would not take not interested for an answer. We let in and went on the tour. We were treated horribly by the last group of people there and treated as if we were low class by because we did not want to commit to paying 180.00 a month. I will be emailing Excalibur directly.
Rooms ok, parking costs. resort costs. I didn't tip anyone and I didn't play any games. I'm on SS and room cost parking cost and resort cost. I have not much left but to eat. Thanks for nickle and dime low income people. This will be my last time in Vegas.
Good view from the 27th floor. Dirty room. Dirty shower. Hair on pillows. Comment card filled out by previous occupant still on the desk.
Location Didn't win anything on slots!
I like the pool area and the convenience of being connected to Mandalay Bay. The room was outdated. I stayed in the tower by pool (resort tower?) Maybe it's the most outdated I don't know. I was on the 28th floor and the room smelled like smoke. I had to have maintenance come up with air freshener but that only lasted a day.
This is an island of paradise among the insanity of Vegas. The attention to detail is without equal. There is no casino which provides a number of benefits. The walk to the room is very short, the line for a cab is non-existent, Starbucks is right by the front door, there is no line at check-in, and you are never hustled by prostitutes, pimps, or marketers. In my opinion, this is the only place to stay. It is expensive for a very good reason. In this case, you get exactly what you pay for... I found no fault with this luxury hotel. The water pressure is great, service is prompt, and the concierge is able to achieve monumental feats on very short notice.
I like serenity yet convenient of everything for leisure. Excellent service!!! I strongly recommend to anyone!! Sarah
Staff really understood customer service. Hotel was cold - food expensive and medicore at best.
The MO is an unexpected and beautiful facility that is everything Vegas is not. If your looking for sanctuary from the 24/7 insanity of Vegas the MO is that and so much more.
Loved that it was non smoking and non gaming! Beautiful pool, free yoga class and close to everything. The restaurants were also very good.
Everything was gorgeous - the staff as well as the entire hotel. There's no casino in the hotel so it does provide a haven for when you need a break from the frenzy that is Las Vegas. The bed was awesome! Location is very central on the strip. I would definitely recommend.
Sevice is very good. But sometimes too good just makes you uncomfortable. The room is very nice, the tub in bathroom is gorgeous. Overall, the gotel is worthy to live. Even the price is a little high, so I would recommend to live when there are some special deals.
Tranquility and truly friendly and helpful staff. On the strip with readily accessible gambling but structured in such a way that you can relax when you choose. minor maintenance issues with an otherwise wonderful room.
A new hotel. Very clean, silent and high tech room. Real 5 star.
I liked that you were in Vegas but this hotel was a little eacape from the craziness I didn't like that our room faced the busy bridge from the shops and Aria so there was noise all night long
The Mandarin Oriental is great for travelers who come to Vegas for a comfortable, luxurious stay and want to avoid the crowds, the smokey casinos, and the noise of the strip that is present at other hotels. The staff there is incredibly professional and courteous and very well trained. We had an amazing stay and every part of our experience was top-notch - and we are seasoned travelers who often stay in nice hotels. I appreciate too that the entire hotel was non-smoking. The prices are high, but you often get what you pay for... however I think the spa prices, even for basic services, are quite steep - such as $120 for an express pedicure.
