Resort fee is too high
Restaurants were OK The 3:30am fire alarm going off, wasn't the best thing to wake up to. The staff was incredibly rude, they could definitely use some improvements. The rooms were very worn down, shower didn't barely work the sinks would not drain properly.
The Rio casino and hotel is a venerable Las Vegas institution that is off the strip on flamingo and I 15. It's a great value for the money and is located in an area that provides easy access to a variety of well-known Las Vegas casinos, as well as hosting sites for most of the areas major conventions.
the pho restaurant downstairs. The room felt and looked old. It also smelled like smoke.
The public areas are all well kept. The shuttle service to the strip is helpful, The buffet is well stocked, The pools were mostly clean and refreshing. The rooms are dated and dirty. I found trash under the bed. The carpets were frayed, The lights in the hall were broken, Fast food bags and fruit loops in the elevator were not picked up from morning until evening. The adult pool was filthy with beer cans and cigarettes. The place had slipped since I stayed there twenty years ago. Our water went out for several hours one night and we needed to get an engineer to fix our bathtub that wouldn't drain.
Room was spacious and clean. The wifi was relatively fast and worked well for me without any disconnects. The hotel is close to the strip but not on it so you don't have the pure insanity that comes along with the strip. Fair number of restaurants in the hotel and some that were open very late for the mayhem that takes place in vegas. The strong smell of tobacco smoke permeates every aspect of your experience even if you have a non-smoking room. I would wake up gagging from the smell. The UBER pickup is hard to find beyond the shuttle pickup area. The hotel elevators are beyond antiques, half of the buttons didn't light up when hit, and they looked like they had seen one too many nights in vegas. None of the food in the hotel even comes close to qualifying as healthy and it costs about $17 for a sandwich so its almost cheaper to order in and pay a tip than to eat inside.
Found my boots in lost and found. Water fall in pool, Good restaurants, nice view at voodoo lounge Staff is not friendly at the check in and check out. The resort fee was charged at check in when my price at reservation said it included all fees and tax, the dealer at the roulette table was rude. She needed training. I wished I would have gotten her name I just remember how she looks like. No adult pool area. It's kids everywhere . One section should just be adults
I really liked how spacious the room was. It was a really big room for the price that we paid. I also really liked the mirror and all the lights that were surrounding the mirror when i got ready. I didn't like that the restaurants owned by Rio opened really late and closed really early. I also didn't like that the security was giving me a hard time about getting a wrist band to play on the slots. It took them over 30 minutes to give us one. One thing that the hotel can fix is the shower heads. Our shower head was very rusted and the water barley came out.
Room smelled like smokey barbecue restaurant, perhaps from restaurant exhaust fans on our side of building. Asked to change room but got no action other than housekeeping came and sprayed 'neutralizer" that did not help. Notified front desk again but could not get room change. Maintence suppose to come to room but never did.
Rooms smelled, mattresses where very old. I think not declaring resort fee is total bs and should be against law as false advertising.
The beds were comfortable, room had a refrigerator in it The room was in need of a remodel. Sash above the beds was coming apart. Walls and ceiling were dirty in spots
Very dark and too much smoke
Manager overcharged for the room and lied to my face
My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay at The Palms and will definitely stay here again. The rooms were very clean, updated and comfortable. The front desk was able to get us a room with a view of the strip. We thought the view was pretty cool since your off stop and can see way more especially at night. Our only complaint was about the shuttle service. This hotel would have 5 stars from me if they had reasonable hours for the shuttle since it is off strip. The hours are from 11am-8pm. These hours barely get you to the strip for a later evening dinner. I don't think it would be too much to ask to have a nice hotel like the Pamls offer their shuttle until at least midnight in Las Vegas.
It was a spacious room. Definitely a great value. I wish that the showers were separated with a window.
It's gotten very tired very quickly.
Nice place to stay verry friendly people!
The Palms is great. Both NINE and NOVE are delicious. The casino is super fun though very smokey compared to others. Unfortunately we were unable to stay. We booked using the Kayak app and it was forwarded to Expedia. Unfortunately Expedia never sent the reservation to the hotel. The hotel did say this was not the first time they had seen this happen.
The room was clean and spacious.
The room was nice , with a great view . And chronic tacos in the food court was amazing !!! It was such an ordeal to see if the room had wifi , I called the front desk and was transferred like 3 times and somehow ended up talking to tech support . A simple no you have to pay would have sufficed . Also I ended up getting charged more than what the price said it would be on kayak .
Room had a great view and multiple bathrooms
The employees were very kind and helpf Air condition didn't work well in our room, and our room keys always had to be redone. Eveyte I got to my room I'd have to hop back in the elevator to go get a working key.
Price, Nice, Beautiful Room, Great Service There was blood droplets not just once but twice on the sheets!!! Seems very very unsanitary. Other than that it was great value for great facility. Would've given a 5 start on everything if not for that. And location is a bit off strip but did have beautiful mountain views from rooms. Also the doors to balcony are permanently locked.
That we really didn't need to leave the hotel! That the pool closed so early (6pm).
i have been going to the orleans since viva las vegas changed to this venue. This year i was pleasantly surprised with the remodeling throughout the hotel. It felt brighter and fresher both in the rooms and hallways. i have been going to the Orleans since viva las vegas changed to this venue. I always enjoyed the laid back easy going feel of hotel. Yet , this year amid the great renovations , i couldnt help be feel like it seemed more uptight. Dance rooms were lit to brightly, brendans pub was unwelcoming with the curtain and bright lights. the coveted late night /early morning meal at the cafe of steak and eggs price went through the roof compared to previous years..ate there once this year, compared to multiple times a day before.
The location was close enough to the Strip that there was easy access but removed enough so there was no constant distraction or disruption. I wish the fitness center was 24 hours.
I booked from Kayak and there shouldn't have extra fee. But this hotel told me that I need to pay for the hotel fee (which is an extra charge). But I have already paid a "hotel fee" when I booked this hotel. The staff didn't give me a good explanation and just told me that these two hotel fee are not the same (for me, IT IS THE SAME. THEY WERE HOTEL FEE). The hotel fee I paid on Kayak is only for Kayak not for the hotel so I need to pay them hotel fee. I would never choose this one again.
Found a great "private deal" on kayak that was only $50 for a night. Deal was legit and they didn't try to get me with hidden stuff - well no more than everyone else at least. Though not on the strip they have a free shuttle to he strip every half hour. Movie theater and pool were nice to have. $17 "resort fee" each day to access he wifi and things like that kinda run me the wrong way. Could add up after a few days.
Although they we had a reservation by the time we checked in they were sold out of smoking rooms so they upgraded us to a 2bdrm suite on the top floor. It was beautiful and very nice of them. It was only for one night so idk if thats why they were so generous but it was nice for the night. Wish we couldve stayed longer Sold out of smoking rooms
Had a lot of good value Was in a less than stellar area
Smoker on the casino floor. Wife has asthma.
Everything was great I wish I had a fridge!
Loved the great atmosphere! Rooms are great .
Nothing, they scammed me for a room Everything about the place
it was a very quiet hotel except our room was located above the delivery dock so first thing in the morning we were woke up with back up alarms. Really good location if not wanting to stay on the strip. The buffet was priced appropriately - you get what you pay for, The live band was awesome on Friday evening. The big screen in the bar area was super awesome for football Sunday.
Nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got there on Sat July 2,2016 stayed Until 7/5/16 never saw house keeping at all!!! We would eat in the room so we had all the trash a for 3 days. I had to go out and find one oh the housekeeping cars to steal bathroom paper it was bad. Then to make matters worse I told front desk and all they did was ask if I needed more towles and to take them up to my room insted of asking housekeeping to do it and all they did was give me a shity coupon for free breakfast it was the worst expireance ever don't stay there!!!!! For a few dollers more find a better Hotel.
The pricing was decent and close to convention centers. Mini fridge with lots of space in the rooms is a plus. Free wifi never works, no "business center," onsite facilities (restaraunt, casino) is a joke. Horrible smoking smell everywhere! A ton of people smoking it up int he casino, outside in the shuttle waiting area, even outside the "non-smoking" guest rooms.
Close to the strip & cheap Older facilities, got our reservation wrong.
I liked that the hotel was separated from the Casino. The pool Was clean, grounds well maintained and staff was friendly. The price... Incredible. There were ants in my room. like a colony that attacked anything that has a scent.
WiFi didn't work
Spacious rooms, with a separated living room. Comfortable bed. The ceilings, bed linens and bath towels were old and dingy. There were other people's hair on a bed pillow and a bath towel. The towel rack in the bathroom was coming away from the wall on one side. The clerk checking me in was obvious that he was having a bad night. Other guest were complaining that their rooms were not clean.
When we arrived they had messed up our reservation and we were given a single bed for 4 people, but we let the check in staff know and they gave us a different bed with no hassle. The room was pretty large and was a great place to chill a little and come back and crash after being out most of the night. The facility wasn't the most clean place in the world but it wasn't horrible. The casino downstairs is quite small and is filled with people who are gambling away money they don't have in the first place.
Clean rooms. Great location. Lines are to long at check in and check out. Waited over 30 min.
Staff was fine also a decent price, but you get what you pay for. .there's nothing but hookers, and homeless people in the hotel.
You get the best bang for your buck with this hotel. It is only a 3-4 minute drive from the strip and there is a shuttle that will take you to the strip every hour. Rick was the shuttle driver I dealt with the most and he was very friendly and informative. Nice pool area as well and the double bed room we stayed in was nice and spacious. I did not like the fact that for all 3 nights we stayed there our room was not cleaned once. One day they attempted to clean our room but the problem was it was 9 am and we were still sleeping. I asked them to come back but they never did. The hotel's exterior is a little outdated but if you don't plan on staying at the hotel much you'll be fine.
It's of lottery on promises with no security
We booked this hotel for the 2016 SEMA show. The room is very spacious. Very adequate for 4 grown men. Room was tidy. Carpets needed a steam clean though. Close proximity to our destination and very ample parking. Bath towels were an issue. Always short.
The cleanliness of the rooms and the affordable dining at TGIFridays Nothing
The room Let's start with valet. I have a 04 Mercedes in excellent condition and Saturday night we asked for our car an I get it with a scrape mark on the right fender, possibly from a pole or a wall. The pool was bad too, we ordered a burger and a chicken wrap and we got 2 meals in BOXES, no condiment, no napkins, no sweeteners for our ice teas. Bad experience for our first time at this casino.
Inexpensive place to stay and close to the strip. I spent the few extra dollars to stay in the refurbished part of the hotel. The room was nice, nothing fancy/special, but nice enough. Not knocking it at all, but I wasn't blown away by anything in particular. No fridge in the room. No outlets easily accessible from the night stands: I wanted to plug my phone in and set an alarm and have access to it from the bed. However, the plugs for the lamp and alarm clock were somehow tucked in behind the wall mounted night stands. I also have a CPAP for my sleep apnea, and the cord was stretched across the floor. Minor issue, but it bugged me regardless of how minor.
Location to hwy 15 and open parking Ping pang pong rest Breakfast special at Friday's EZ to walk to Rio and Palms Beds and pillows were comfortable Starbucks coffee at Java (reasonably priced) Room 319 - sewer smell on day 2 Had to call maintance 3xs to adj themostate (78) and beg for a light bulb Room is dark and hard to see in Not enough mirrors and outlets - like all hotel rooms Hallway carpet dirty Not many tv channels
Room colors nice. Coffee maker in room. Bedclothes not changed daily unless requested. I requested it but still not done. Rooms noisy. Air conditioning good but loud. Rooms small. Charges Resort Fees. Kayak quoted a resort fee but Hotel charges another price.
Room was clean When I checked in I told lady we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. I was hoping she would upgrade or just get us a nice Location...... Instead we were down a super long hallway next to stairway. Beds were uncomfortable. We like casino area. Pool was a disappointment.
bowling TGI Fridays was horrible
I left a VERY good pair of earrings behind in the room. The housemaid TURNED THEN IN....and Security and Executive Office did fine job getting them back in my hands. (Dsvid, Habbe, Cheryl!) LONG walk to room - but OK. I am NOT a casino person.
The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. We came to LV for a convention being held at a hotel on the same street as the Gold Cost. Even though all the other places around the convention were price gouging, Gold Coast kept their prices very reasonable. I'm staying here every time I attend the convention from now on! The room is clean and the beds very comfortable but our room was a bit bare bones. What I mean by that is, no refrigerator and no microwave. It was hard to store food and drink.
Overall the property is ok. Only thing needed was the room for an overnight stay so I don't have any reviews regarding any other services provided by the property. Was very surprised to have been given an upgraded room. Thank you for the upgrade. The suite was loved by the wife!!!
Nicely remodeled, clean. Bed was too hard for me.
Exterior looks nice Airport noise was real loud, right under flight path of runway.
the airport was close by furniture was well worn and dated the chest of drawers was broken
Clean, spacious, well equipped rooms. wifi was poor to non-existent Airplane noise
Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and able to answer all my questions, on the phone and in person. Was nice to be able to have coffee, juice and friut before leaving for my meetings. A little plane noise, but did not interfere with my sleep.
The price is very reasonable. Comfortable bed, good pillows, clean fresh towels. Kitchenette with microwave and fridge is surely a plus. The continental breakfast is great if your on the go and didn't have time to find a place to eat breakfast. The only negative comment I can say is the noise. Too close to the airport I can hear the plane every 30 minutes or so. Just the noise sorrounding the hotel. But everything was very good.
The toilet was blocked
A nice, clean, comfortable room and a more than fair price.
Location is close to strip, A bit old. For a motel
Very nice for the price..my New hotel for Vegas!!
Very clean and comfortable. Felt like home. Friendly staff.
Easy transportation to and from the airport 1st room I had didn't have a bathtub, but the staff quickly fixed the problem and moved me to a really nice room.
Cost of room treadmills not working
The pools are amazing and the room service was very fast and delicious! There was no elevator in the courtyard area but the food was still hot! The lady at checkout was horribly rude and unfriendly. The room was very cheap looking and feeling but it was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. Shower was tiny. Bed was stiff. The AC smelled horrible and had to be repaired. They rook our do not disturb sign after 1 of 3 days stay. Very far walk away from everything!!
The service and housekeeping was great
Great room for the price I paid !!
The price ia good. The staff is helpful and its not too far from the strip Room didn't include a mini fridge. Room wasn't very clean.
The food good and well-priced and the staff was very friendly and nice. I stayed in the courtyard which is very old and not very comfortable. No view and very noisy.
Generally clean Only $33 per night! Oh wait, there's a $30 transaction fee and then a $16 check-out fee. So... not $33 a night. The bathtub didn't drain properly.
Honestly, we had a family trip. The location was excellent for us. my family and i was at the different location, but we made everything easy. We can't complain about the staff because we didn't let them cleaning our homes but we got everything we asked for and answered to all our questions and tried to worked out with them to make things easier. We enjoyed ourselves in the pool and my kids like it. Thanks for your services.
Good Hospitality! There was a beautiful desk clerk.
Room very comfy & clean The single King bed needed another pillow. Only had 3 thin ones
Can avoid the strip's traffic and more relaxing vibes and Big Tony's was excellent ! Didn't get a mini fridge :( or microwave
The comedic bad service at every restaurant The service was a joke, and I can't say it was very clean. It needs a major facelift. I would only stay there again if I had to.
The staff was friendly at check in and check out. There is a convenient store right across the street. Right off of freeway. A bit of a walk to the strip... When I called for the complimentary late check out at 12 (instead of normal check out at 11) that they tell you about when you check in, I was told I could only have until 1130. I called back around 1130 and was given 15 more mins to 1145 but I didn't see why they couldn't just give me until 12. The toilet made a water wasting type of noise all night long. The maid began knocking on my door very early in the morning even though I put a do not disturb sign. The maid came again around 1130 and I had to let her know that I was checking out in 15 minutes and to wait.
The engineer who came and fixed the AC his name was Edgar 1. was not aware of more fees before check in. 2. The AC did not work for first 3 hours we were checked in. 3. Room was so SMALL we could hardly walk in the room. I will stop here just to say I will not be returning as a customer there at all
The staff was very unfriendly. I was not told about the $100 deposit when I booked it online or when I called ahead about checking in. I was told two different ways to check out. I had to call to the front desk four (4) times before I was answered to check out. I was told checkout would take 5 minutes, it took 15 just to get a security guard to check our room.
Clean sheets and good non-smoking room. Check-in staff friendly. Stayed here while going to conference at nearby Aria, an easy Uber ride away. Could hear noise from outside, but I used white noise app, so not a problem. Slept well.
Pillows were clumpy and the lack of upkeep was very apparent. The air conditioner barely cooled the room and that was with it being set on high at the coldest setting. The location was in a rough part of town. We killed a centipede on the wall and there was a live grub worm in the bathroom floor. Won't be back there again.
Very clean room at a great rate!
People were loud and seemed sketchy!!
Housekeeping's responsiveness location The primary reason for picking this place was for the Jacuzzi which was body temperature warm for the days we were there missing 6 of 6 jet heads filling with COLD water instead of pre-warmed water lowering the temperature even further it was not sealed between pool and decking facilitating the lost of warm water to be replaced by cold water Recommendation: research retrofitting with a solar system using the swimming pool as a dump for excess hot water --Vegas has 300 + days of sunshine The system could also be incorporated into the laundry cleaning physicality =s cost savings =higher profits The ice maker at our end of the complex was not working and I was told it had not been for weeks One of the housekeeping ladies actually retrieved ice for us Denny's food was good but the personnel were so so example No water glasses not even asked if we wanted water if this was a policy issue to save water, which I agree with, it could be handled by communication Internet service Why is there 2 levels of service? And why does the second level come with a per day extra cost when you can not get the first level to work? Check in for the motel is in the Casino and should be stated on the website And no coffee/tea maker
Bed was comfortable and had great shampoo, conditioner, and lotion We made reservations for a king size room and when we arrived, they put us in a double twin
Clean, no issues, not a far walk from the strip Pool wasn't heated,
I booked this hotel for a business trip from priceline.com's site. It looked nice online and when I got there I didn't feel safe at all. There were shady characters and my room was across the street from a 24 hour truck stop (I am a solo mid 30s female traveler). I paid WAY over market for this $20/night motel. I was absolutely disgusted, but couldn't do anything but stay there because everything else was sold out. This motel SHOULD NOT be advertised online.
The little dealings I had with the staff were excellent, and the room was much nicer than I expected for what I paid through a booking site. Also, it was fairly clean for a budget motel. It was cold so I didn't get to test the pool. I know it is in Las Vegas, but there was no mention that the check in area was inside the casino. No big deal - unless you have lung problems. I couldn't breathe and ran outside where I collapsed and had to talk the guard out of calling an ambulance (I can't afford healthcare here in US and I certainly can't afford an ambulance ride!) The No Smoking section where the check in line was equated to a No Peeing section in a pool full of kids. It also smelled really horrible in the lobby, like decades of smoke. There was also a movie I did not watch charge to my room that the front desk clerk was kind enough to take off my bill at checkout
The hotel was reasonably priced and had all the basic amenities. The breakfast was amazing! The room was comfortable and clean and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I wish they would have started breakfast earlier than 6 - the first shuttle to the airport was at 6, so we missed breakfast our last day. Once an hour for the shuttle wasn't really enough and it would have been nice if the shuttle also picks you up - a cab from the entertainment strip right across the highway will cost you about $10-$12 with tip.
Just a positively great oasis in the flash of Vegas. it's tranquil, clean, FRESH and comfortable. The amenities were great and honestly addressed all my needs, down to my forgotten toothbrush and toothpaste. nothing negative here
breakfast, shuttle to airport crowd, no toilet paper in the bathroom, clogged sink
Loved the room and front desk area. Pool closed to early.
Best Breakfast. Comfortable beds
The pool area was nice and cozy, although they close at 10. We were there over the 4th of July weekend and you would think they would be a little lax on the time since it was a holiday, but at 9:59 the lady working the bar came out and told everyone to leave. We stayed at Fairfield the night before and their pool closed at 11. The breakfast sucked. A lot of reviews I read said the breakfast was "awesome." Far from the truth. They had the typical waffles, fruit, yogurt, and pastries. Boiled eggs and egg omelets floating around in liquid...ok? No bacon or sausage. I grabbed a banana and called it a day. They had a nice older gentleman as a Breakfast Attendant that went around and gave the kids toys and coloring pages which was a nice gesture. He was really friendly and seemed to enjoy his job. The rooms were basic, nothing special. They had a small cube refrigerator in the room that was just randomly laying on the floor. Never seen that before...usually it's in a cabinet.
The shuttle driver was very professional and really nice . The staff at check in were very helpful and respectful When I arrived felt a little ignored . No one said anything and I was waiting until some one said somethig.
Great experience and stay overall. Check-in and check out process was quick, easy, and painless. Breakfast was great and fitness service met my needs. Thank you and I don't mind making a return visit here down the road.
The hotel was conveniently located close to, but not on the Strip in Vegas. Having the airport shuttle, which ran often to the airport is a bonus as was a shuttle drop off to the strip once an hour. The buffet was excellent with scrambled eggs and a meat offered along with waffles, oatmeal, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit , breads and bagels. One of the nicest assortments and well kept area constant cleaning and filling of offerings. Pool area nice to relax by quiet with plenty of tables and lounges. Getting back from the strip you had to walk on a busy overpass. If they had more pickups from the strip that would of been nice presently only at 5:30 and 10:30.
Daily shuttles onto the Las Vegas Strip was very convenient and cut down on the taxi fees. The location is not the greatest but than again I was aware of this and new that I was not centrally located to the strip. The shuttle makes up for this with a drop off point near one of the hotel tramways with access to the strip monorail.
The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. NO resort or parking fees. Shuttle to the strip every hour. Neutrogena toiletries. Weird, ocean (?) type smell in lobby, probably temporary.
- Location - Hotel breakfast - Room configuration - Room 322 had crack in ceiling - Lack of mini fridge
The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. I especially liked the flat screen tv's. Also, the full breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly.
They lost our reservation then ran my card for the weekend rate at the hotel. We missed our dinner plans at Gordon Ramsay because we couldn't get into a room and shower on time. Hotel is in repair process looks very tacky for incoming guest. Front desk trainee did what she could to accommodate but she had no pull. Put a damper on the weekend for sure. Will never book here again
I liked it all. Close to everything. Nothing I can really complain about. The only comment is that the decor needs updating.
Almost all inclusive, only need lunch and dinner (lol) It has everything you could need and more...
clean, value, impressive continental breakfast, convenient to airport, airport shuttle service.
Easy to get to. Carpets needed to be cleaned.
Shuttle service was good No available restaurants or fast food places around
Ligt vlakbij het vliegveld zeer handig voor de nacht voor vertrek als je vlucht vroeg gaat (3 minuten met shuttle naar airport) Nothing special
Convenient to airport. No restaurant in or close to the hotel.
The location was convenient to the airport, the check in staff was friendly and efficient, the fresh fruit and chilled water in the lobby was very welcoming, and the coffee at breakfast was excellent. We were looking for a comfortable place to stay near the airport for one night/ early check out. Was perfect for this. The facility is very dated, bathroom rather low end. We didn't care about this as we were just looking for a good night's sleep.
all i can it was excellion. and loved my stay
Fabulous stay no complaints will stay there on our next visit.
Location was excellent and was clean and comfortable! The pillows on the bed were like sleeping on a sack of spuds!! Should have brought my own!
Free wireless worked well. Really quick to the airport, shuttle service every 30 minutes (though not at all times). Room on first floor pretty loud, from the street on the one side and the lobby on the other - both window and door not insulating really. Staff so-so. Shuttle service actually did not go from the airport, perhaps only running when dropping someone off?
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice, clean and updated. Hallways outside of rooms needs some updating.
I was in town for my sisters wedding over at the Wynn. The location was perfect as most of my family was staying at the Wynn and the Embassy Suites is less then 5 minutes by cab. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and very polite. The room was very nice and comfortable. And the price was great. I only spent a 3rd of what it cost to stay at the Wynn and was only 5 minutes away. The breakfast was also very enjoyable. It's one of the main reasons I look to stay at the Embassy Suites if I can. The bathroom was not as nice as the rest of the room. The faucet was cracked and corroded, the shower looked like one you'd find in a motel, and the marble counter had these odd stains on them. I would rank the room at a 4 star and the bathroom at a 2 star.
I always attempt to stay at Embassy's where ever I go mainly because of the ammenities. I wish the hotel had airport shuttle service.
Nothing. The hotel was overbooked and I couldn't stay there even though I already paid for the resrvation. Very unhappy that I purchased a night's stay so I could be near the airpot and have an easy checkout for a morning flight only to be turned away due to overbooking and "upgraded" to the Venetian. I spent 234.08 for the convenience of an embassy suites only to be given the fun of trying to figure out how and where to park at the venetian, the ridiculous walk from the car to the check in desk, check in hassle of everyone arriving on red-eyes and the pleasure of getting up extra early to do all that again the next morning. What I am trying to say is that when you want the convenience of the Embassy Suites and its location near the airport and you have already paid for the stay it is a large mistake on a business's part to upgrade someone to the hassle of the Venetian. If I wanted the Venetian I would have rented a room there instead. There were plenty available. the Venetian was an excellent hotel I just didn't want to stay there for convenience reasons and the Embassy Suites made my entire trip home miserable due to exhaustion from only getting 4 hours of sleep due to all the extra time needed finding and getting in and out of the Venetian.
Great complimentary breakfast, shuttle service, swimming pool None
It was clean Our door didn't lock when we tried to leave for our evening out. Although we were able to move to another room it took longer and we were late for the show we purchased.
Very enjoyable and comfortable. The breakfasts were great and so were the receptions in the afternoon. Indoor pool was way to cold.
ACTUALLY IT WAS LAST MINUTE BOOKING, NOT MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM BASED ON MY SEARCH FOR RATING & SMOKING NOT GOING BACK THERE AGAIN. VERY DISSAPOINTED. THERE WAS ONLY ONE GIRL IN-CHARGE OF THE HOTEL, POOR SERVICE. SHE SEEMED TIRED OR BORED. NOT VERY WELCOMING. REQUESTED A SMOKING ROOM, IT SMELLED LIKE A DIVE BAR OR MEDIOCRE LOCAL BAR. HOUSEKEEPER KEPT KNOCKIN, BOUT 4 TIMES AFTER I SAID I WOULD HAVE A LATE CHECK-OUT. IT WASN'T LIKE PEOPLE WERE LINING UP TO BOOK, ONLY 1STORY OUT OF 3 WAS AVAILABLE DUE TO REMODELING. THE PLACE LOOKED BETTER ON THE PIC
I liked the price I did not like how they advertised the room as a queen bed but it actually had a full size mattress. Management insisted I was crazy and refused to refund or upgrade me. I did not like how the "free breakfast" was just a coffee pot and some muffins in a box and some cereal/oatmeal. I did not like how small the room was, or that my bathroom fan was not working. I did not like that the thermostat on the AC was not working correctly and we were constantly hot or cold.
Free breakfast , and easy to get around The pool was duty
Price A/C was just decent
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated the shuttle service and free Wi-Fi.
Friendly, helpful staff. Amenities were great. Clean rooms. Parts of the hotel did look a little shabby. peeling wallpaper and such.
Loved the fitness center and pool/hottub. Hottub especially was really nice after a day of walking the strip. Did not like the Breakfast It had no meat it was mostly carbs. Carbs bad... Really hated the kids running up and down the halls in the middle of the night and the dogs barking off and on all night. The shuttle to the strip was nearly useless as you had to wait a very long time. moor than 30 minutes.
Loved the comfy bed, and our single King room had an enormous bathtub! Big enough for 2. Also liked the location, very close to the Strip. All the entrances to the hotel rooms/pool had keyed entries, but several of them were either broken or just left unlocked.
Cleanliness, hospitality, Shuttle driver Jacque, and the shuttle service. Pretty and comfortable room. Nothing.
Complimentary breakfast. Outdated rooms, warm hallways, missed my room service two days in a row, crappy location, unhelpful staff, crappy parking, shitty location.
Dirty walls, damaged doors, fire alarm went off twice due to air duct cleaning. Friendly, helpful staff. Dirty walls, damaged doors, fire alarm went off twice due to air duct cleaning. Friendly, helpful staff
Poor shuttle service. I was told a time (90 minute wait) than was told I would need to.wait another 30 minutes.
During our stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites Las Vegas, it was not enjoyable at all. We were able to hear everyone talking through the walls, including a couple having sex! I felt very disgusted and the room itself was disgusting! Was not vacuumed either! Will never stay here again! I guess you get what you pay for.
No blanket, just a coverlet in a cold room. Fan wouldn't turn off. No breakfast of a respectable nature. Low value for the price
The price This had to be the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in! It was pretty disgusting! And, housekeeping services only if you stay 8+ nights!?
The staff were very nice, and helpful.
I had a a guaranteed reservation for TWO beds and a sleeper sofa. When we got there, the room had a king bed. There were three adult guys. I had to sleep on the floor. Not a happy camper.
The setup of the room/suite. It was quiet. The staff extremly helpful and nice. The carpet was in great need of cleaning. If was real dirty.
Spacious room, location on walking distance from the Strip, free internet No minibar, no alcoholic bevarges served in the bar after 11:00 pm - is this Las Vegas?? But one is gladly refered to a shop about 50 meters away that is open 24/7
That it was nice for the price. And the TV was nice. The pool is to small and it was drity. The room did't have a DVD player..
the staff there was wonderful - plus i love the room layout with the additional seating area, kitchenette, and large dressing area.
close enough to the strip without the noise, free parking, free breakfast, free internet, 42" plasma tv, fridge and coffee maker $20 charge for late checkout (2pm), small bathroom
Nice and relaxing, walking distance to the Hard Rock casino. We like the shuttle bus. The drivers are very nice and on time. Howard is very nice and friendly and easy to talk too.
Very clean and well accommodating hotel. Even greeted with a fresh baked cookie. Not the kind of hotel that tries to save money on air conditioning or skimp on the fine details. Complimentary breakfast starts at 700. Could be earlier but otherwise perfect and well provided.
1. Location - we wanted to stay close to the airport.2. Shuttle from airport to the hotel AND to the Strip. 3. Value for money. N/A.
The enviornment was very positive and comfortable. The shuttle services to the strip was limited. The driver stopped pick up at 10:00pm on the Las Vegas Strip? Unbelievable!
It was clean and quiet.
We liked the location, shuttle service from/to airport and MGM Grand, and value for money. N/A
Close to the McCarran Car Rental center (seriously 5 minutes away) so its really easy to drop off your car in a hurry or if you have an extremely early flight. Especially good choice if you've burned cash on a Strip hotel and need one last night before that early AM flight out. 24-hour Pool - no one was using it so its like you had it all to yourself. Its also kept clean and well-stocked with towels. Gym has an elliptical, treadmill and free weights. Close to outlet shopping and highways to downtown/Strip. Far from the Strip (but depending on your budget you may end up driving their every time anyways). Too quiet if you're looking for the party atmosphere of the Strip. Empty-feeling if you're looking for the ambience of a resort and people-watching opportunities. Not much else in walking distance, surrounded by office buildings and a Starbucks.
Hotel was Clean, friendly, quite & enjoyed free cookie. Satisfied
convenient, near airport, complimentary shuttle and internet, comfortable bed, good service, accommodating, on-the-run breakfast available
The staff was welcoming, recognized my status and the appropriate perks were provided. I had a problem with the schedule of the shuttle to the Strip - runs once every 2 hours - quite infrequent and had to wait for 45 minutes once to be picked up. Keep that in mind when booking this hotel!
Very comfortable airport with good airport shuttle service.
Very Comfortable hotel. n/A
