We enjoyed the very comfortable bed, the good breakfast buffet, the friendly staff (who spoke English and German fluently) and the decent location (close to metro and tram).
Great Hotel, handy location next to FlorenC Tram/Metro station, historical city center at walking distance. Friendly and available staff. Nicely furnished/designed, clean, quiet, good breakfast, ...
Located close to the center but not directly in the center. Very good breakfast. Nice personal. Tidy and clean room. Doubleroom was big enough. Bathroom was 4-star standard as well and clean. Parking in front of the hotel. Price-Performance was very good. There was a smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom on the weekend when the hotel was fully booked. But it dissappeared during the shower and on weekdays where the hotel was empty. The bathroom is very modern, so the overall impression was not distgusting and it shouldnt prevent from booking if one is not hyper-sensitive.
Excellent price/quality ratio Nothing to claim
The Hästens beds were simply fantastic, I had an excellent nights sleep. The staff is very friendly and assisting. Very good location close to Florenc, loads of restaurants and new shopping mall Palladium. Good cuisine. Limited no. Of parking space, although I was lucky to get on just in front of the entrance :-)
The hotel offers excellent value for money; although it's not really a central location, it takes like 5 minutes to get there by tram and it's walking distance from the city center. The staff both reception and restaurant extremely polite and helpful.
Clean rooms, friendly front office staff , new and clean. Good and sufficient breakfast Small rooms, lack of seating space, chairs , seating aeria.A place where you can relax after a long day of side seeing. Very poor wi fy conetion.
Friendly staff, clean room, and excellent breakfast. This is a great hotel for the money.
(egg-bacon)
Sentral beliggenhet og ikke så dyrt. Hyggelige folk i resepsjonen.
it is very clean and food is goog the front desk staff Radka and Lucie is rude. I was asking them a question and keep on talking in Czech language and giggling. Ther were not very professionnal when dealing with us.
Heaps of restaurants , pubs, nightclubs. Good fun atmosphere in the area yet it quiets down fairly early. Astoria is an ok hotel - service is friendly . Rooms are basic. Ideal probably for backpackers who don't want a hostel. Location is great. Room safe didn't work (or we couldn't get it to) . Aircon was ineffective but I think that's fairly standard for the area.
The location was great, right across from a Metro station and market. The rooms were large, and beds comfortable.
Breakfast was super, because I was expecting the usual Continental small breakfast i.e. coffee and a croissant. The convenience of the Metro and The Trams was a gem no
Breakfast is very important for me and it was ok i have claustrofobia and i couldn,t open ten whole window
Location s it was only a 10 minute walk to the city centre. We did not realise the did not accept Euro at the hotel. We did not have any of their currency so this made it a bit difficult. Also we were quoted in Euro for the hotel rate, but they did not charge in Euro so therefore extra expense was incurred due to credit card charges.
The location, comfort, prices The hotel staff had little training. They were often too few, and only did their assigned jobs (for example: four people in the reception and no one in the bar) even though it was obvious that they were needed for very easy tasks somewhere else. We often had to wait a very long time in order to order a drink at the bar, talk to someone in the reception (even when they were four behind the counter!) etc.
The breakfast was wonderful! Made the day start off right!
Staff always very helpful nothing
good and very clean
The location of the hotel was great, just a short walk from Praha Masarykovo station for the trips out of town that I needed to make. The close proximity of the metro (the hotel was opposite Florenc metro station), two supermarkets on the doorstep and the short walk to the centre of town also made this an ideal location. Apart from this, I liked the clean look of the hotel, friendly staff and the supply of tea/coffee in the room was a nice touch. A minor grumble was the length of wait for check-in (down to a group booking at the hotel for a corporate event). It shouldn't take the gloss out of a very friendly and well run hotel though.
veldig flottr rom, gode senger, flott frokostbuffet.
The best part of staying at Hotel Troja, Was gettting out of the busy Prague, and get closer to local people living outside the city. Public transport was however very good in to city center.
Hotellet ligger i rolige omgivelser. Frokosten sto ikke til våre forventninger.
Personell at reception and cleaning the room was very good. We were asked to leave the breakfast room, as they needed the table for other guests.............
Close to the centre. Staff were very nice and the hotel was clean. Decent breakfast. The advertised 'single room' was tiny with literally a small single bed in the corner. At this level of hotel and given a single supplement applied to the price, a double bed should have been provided.
Location very good, 30 m from the Metro. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was quite good to that price. Cheap room, you get what you pay for. Very basic room, no TV, no air-condition, impossible to keep the daylight out of the room in the mornings. Noisy surroundings.
It's quite nice, well located hotel with everything you can need. There's elevator, wifi, tv, ... There's also wc / bathroom at every room. I was waiting little bit bigger room, but for sleeping it's enough large. You need to ask for wifi password on reception.
the hotel is situated ideal place tram service 24hrs hotel is clean and friendly staff
Simple and very basic but clean room. Friendly staff at reception desk. Good value for the money. Small and very simple breakfast.
The service at the restaurant was very good and the food excellent. There was always a parking place in the surroundings. At breakfast, things were rather chaotic, the tables were not cleaned after being used and the food and drinks were not refilled. The first day food was missing about one hour before breakfast was closed and the second day there wasn't even coffee left.
Comfortable rooms within walking distance to the city's main attractions. Excellent value for money. Friendly staff and nice restaurant. I also appreciated that they had TV channels in English and French (quite rare in Czech hotels). I could smell the kitchen from my window. The room had no hair dryer.
Basic, but clean room with enough space, good location (Metro stop Krizikova is 100m from the doorway, but the city centre is within walking distance) and quiet neighborhood. Very basic breakfast, no 24/7 staff (it's more a pension than a hotel), not all staff can speak English.
Great location, especially for the price I paid (metro station is 30 sec. away from the hotel, just 1 stop to Florenc bus station, 2 stops to the center). Staff was very nice, helpful and flexible about check out time. staff's English skills - for me it wasn't a problem because I could change to Polish, but it may be for tourists from other countries.
It was good since the old lady refused to accept the credit card which I used to make the reservation and she didn't accept euros neither. So at the end you have to pay much more because they use the old trick of charging you 30% more of currency exchange... the hotel was OK It was good since the old lady refused to accept the credit card which I used to make the reservation and she didn't accept euros neither. Staff, location, comfort everything was perfect
good location and good breakfast! no water boiler and hair dryer.
Great location, right next to metro so very easy to get to the centre of Prague. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was the same every day although there was some choice. I would prefer to see hot breakfasts offered. We had room 1 which was right next to the entrance for several other rooms so we could hear the door going early in the mornings.
The restaurant was great and had many things to do there. Out of the city center from the traffic and people but only a few stops away by tram which is easy to get there.
Good choice of buffet breakfast, pretty large rooms, free swimming pool. Electric sockets are not usable for Russian plugs, staff was not able to provide a n adapter for this.
the sauna and swimming pool not long enough
Hotel and its facilities ok At 9.00 half of breakfast gone and no refill: no eggs, no bacon etc.
Cechie is a well-organised, clean, well-situated hotel with polite and competent staff plus a good restaurant. Unbeatable value in that price range! I seriously can not think of anything. No, wait: It is virtually impossible to make a Strike in their bowling alley, due to the cones being hung in strings. ;-)
the manager was really nice i booked a double room an got a twin room wen asked to change rooms the young receptionist was rude he swore at us told us he didnt care an that we have no other choice but to push the beds together an that he would change our room the next day but they changed us into the same room again!!! no appologies for the inconvenience breakfast was a disapointment the hotel should be a 3*
The big rooms were very nice, the breakfast was fine, all kinds of sportsfacilities, the distance to the metro station Invalidovna is only about 6 minutes, the friendliness of the staff! The temperature of the swimmingpool is way too low!!! Not nice for children!
nice, new, good location, free parking possible directly in front of the hotel
Near the metro and trams.
Good value for money, and 5 minutes walk to metro station
I wan't to write a comment for the good of the tourists please do something about this hotel write some negative report because it is real nightmare I should of stay in the hotel 4 nights when I entered the door it was discusting I cannot stay in that hotel not more than 5 minutes I left then I had to find a new hotel but it was weekend in Prague....
wisit Prag whit a grupp turists. The breakfast, verry bed and small. bad coffee and poor
clean rooms pleasant staff easy for metro
It was like a hostel - dirty, damaged furniture - generally bad news
The Staff was really nice. T he hotel is not like you see on their web site. All photos were modified with photoshop. I think the hotel has more de 40 years old, and of course non up date was made. I you look for a cheap trip to Prague and want to spent all your days out side and only get a good sleep in the hotel..it's ok, but don't think you'll get anything else for 26 euro per night. Brackfast was included too...but I don't advice you to take in at the hotel.
The staff is very friendly, the beer in the bar is excellent. It is difficult to get to the town. There is litterary nothing to do around the hotel, not even a shop. The breakfast is poor.
workers on reception very professional difficult to find, no panels of direction, nothing, services on bar, server not nice
the "no nonsense" way tv on the room
Have a bed for the nignt and a shower in the morning. and coffee and bread for breakfaest no more
Very good and quiet location, 5 minutes walking to metro station. Personal was very agreeable. No parking booking needed - you can park free on the street in front of the hotel. Breakfast was adequate. Curtain in room could be better washed.
Sincerely I do not recommand hotel henrietta because the staff do not speak english and because the stupid which I did no speak english was robbed things from car because the studid guy send us to park in front of hotel Henrietta instead of private parking.
I did like during my stay at the Hotel Henrietta quiet and comfortable autmosphere.
Woman at the desk was very friendly Dinner was very ......, frozen food cooked by micro-wave oven.
It is a good and cheap hotel in Prague. If you want to stay in Prague for few days this is the economic version. NO
it is worth.
The price is quite affordable. The hotel is quite far from the city center. Breakfast selections are really poor : few bread, not really warm coffee and no warm chocolate. No fresh fruits nor fresh juice.
Check in until 24:00 Garage
It was closed to metro station I requested double room
