Excellent service. Very attentive and helpful staff. It will be great when the roof terrace is finished.
The hotel is very attractive - clean, bright, roof terrace with jacuzzi overlooking town and sea. The staff are very friendly, pleasant and helpful. the breakfast is excellent - lots of fruit, breads, cakes, - usual continental in 4 star. Again the people were very nice. The could be a little more proactive in providing informaqtion both about their services and the area and facilities.
Wonderful staff in a nicely decorated hotel.
Clean Out of the way, and difficult to see how this could be rated 4-star. In particular, the inhouse TV does not offer satellite channels, so there is no english TV, and the hotel advertised (and charges for) wireless internet access, but what is provided is unusable: slow and unreliable (disconnecting frequently).
hotel was excellent, as was the staff.Couldn,t do enough for us I would definately recommend to other people and would stay again if we go back to area.
Lovely setting in olive groves 5 minutes from Otranto and coast. Beautiful pool, very relaxing and quiet. Ideal for a romantic getaway. Sat-nav directions to the hotel on website took us into Otranto itself so check directions!
The hotel was excellent- good restaurant, fabulous gardens and pool area, comfortable bedrooms with a large terrace. The staff were friendly. The hotel was a short drive from the lovely town of Otranto and made a good base from which to visit the many areas of interest. Overall a very good hotel in a great location which made for a very relaxing stay.
Staff were always helpful, pleasant and informed. There is a desire to get you to practice your italian. Everywhere was clean & tidy and the hotel was very relaxing. The hotel has lots of places within the gardens to escape to. A superb climate and a region full of history. No
I stayed at this hotel with my wife and daughter and we absolutely loved the place. Everyone very helpful, rooms nice size and very clean, and the resort is very close (approx1-2km) to old city otranto where u can go in the evening for splendid food at bargain prices.
excellent service and comfort with considerable privay in a well manicured and attractivwe setting. acces to the Otranto city without own transport difiicult particularly after midnight as taxis run from Lecchie
Hotel itself was attrctive furnished nicely pool area very good. Very limited dinner menu expensive and breakfast very ordinary unless you liked cake. Bar was shut in the evenings.
Very peaceful location and close enough to Otranto town centre less than 5mins away by car. Lovely restaurant. Great for a relaxing break.
Hotel grounds lovely and peaceful. Pool very attractive with varied and very comfortable sun beds. Evening menu lacked choice. Fruit juice in the morning was of a poor quality- i would expect fresh orange in Italy !!
One of the best hotels we have stayed in for some time. The location, facilities and food were first class. The pool is wonderfu. Nothing was to much trouble. The Restaurant was excellent under the direction of Fabio and the standard of cooking was first class. Local menu's presented in a modern way. Full but not over faced. Just the place for a relaxing holiday. We will return.
Atmosphere, food, confort, quietness A bit remote from the town
The level of spoken English is very poor. Very disappointed that there was no working wireless Internet, as promised. Hotel very nice. Wireless Internet not working.
Great hotel, staff, rooms and location great. Food great. Would stay there again.
probably the spa. only had 1 visit but it was good. we need early breakfast like many others staying here too. were told this would be ok but gentleman at breakfast very miserable, everything was a huge effort for him, not helpful, totaly ignored you when it suited him. we either ended up with very little breakfast or none at all, this was 7am. quality of breakfast poor anyway. beds extreemly firm, if you like a soft bed this is not for you, neaver slept on such a firm mattress-took some getting off to sleep. hairdryer broke, asked every day for a remote for tv-5 night stay-never got one yet.booked triple room got a double with camp bed-why did I pay more? air conditioning not good, either red hot thro night or freezing cold.dont think this new hotel has been finished, needs more funrniture
Push bikes and bar staff. Breakfast was rarely replenished.
Room rather small and quite dark! Looked bigger and lighter on the web
Wonderfull location, nice swimming pool, very friendly hotel staff and the most important : very good restaurant (and breakfast) everything was fine
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was delicious and varied. It is an ideal location for exploring the town of Otranto and surrounding area. The shower cubicle was too small. There was no indoor area for relaxing when the weather was wet or cold - the bar was rather enclosed and depressing.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The a'la carte dinner was exceptional, breakfast was excellent. Though we did not understand the language well the staff did all they could to make it easier. We were impressed by the pool and surroundings. Our room was spacious and well equipped with a terrace with table and chairs outside. All round we were very pleased and, if in this area again, wouldn't hesitate to book again. We were disappointed that we only booked one night - next time we hope to stay longer.
Excellent staff, swimmining pool, location and breakfast The bathroom is fine, the shower is small but just manageable. The only slightly disappointing aspect of the accommodation
The Masseria is well located outside Otranto in the peaceful countryside. A wonderful place to relax. Very large pool; grounds well kept. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was plentiful. Wish we had booked for a longer stay.
Rooms are very small, very expensiv, food was expensive and poor, swingpool dirty,
Very friendly and helpful staff , also I liked the refurbishment which had taken place , nice room with balcony . Hotel convenient for the beach ( 5 minutes walk ) and pleasant 20 minute stroll to the old town with stunning views on the way . Very good food in the restaurant which however was poorly patronised which was a shame '
The Staff were very helpfull and although we do not speak Italian the staff were able to understand us. It was out of the holiday season when we stayed so the restaurant was closed.
The staff were friendly and efficient enough. Superior room was big. Proximity to the (small) beaches. The hotel is located on the eastern edge of Otranto, a pretty run down area about 1 km walk from the historic centre. The roads are dreadful, there is lots of dog foul on the street. For the price I expected a much better hotel. We very nearly refused to stay here.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Lovely hotel with a particularly friendly and helpful receptionist! Rooms comfortable and ours had a lovely private courtyard. Nothing
Charming staff, cleanliness of room, nice linen on bed, comfortable, decor Insulation from noise from other rooms not good. eg. High heeled shoes going tramp, tramp overhead. bathroom noises and dreadful singing from another !
While a fifteen minute walk from the "action" this is a lovely hotel and we would go back anytime. Breakfast was great and the service likewise.
The staff were very kind, hospitable, and helpful. Hotel was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We were definitely pleased with our choice of Corte del Nettuno.
The hotel was to modern standards but the design had carefully retained the original stonework of the building. Our room was cool and comfortable with a good sized bed.
The unique decor and style, the good quality fixture and fittings it did not have a swimming pool
The staff were very good, especially the lady on reception who spoke excellent English and was very helpful. The decor was very pleasant with interesting paintings everywhere. We had a lovely room at the front of the hotel with views straight over the sea.
Efficient check-in, pleasant staff.
placement The aircondition system does not work satisfactionary. It works only part of the day and switches off with opened window. The view out of the window is almost straight into other rooms
It is very close to the see the sheets were very used, the breakfast was poor
It was in the center of town No
Hotel is new and lovely, good location (walking distance to Otranto city center) and facilities like SPA. Gardens and swimming pool very nice. Not prepared for families with babies, to many barriers... 2 lifts and stairs o go to reception or restaurant. Staff argues with the customer instead of solving problems. In general, not very carefull and cold. Hotel is not flexible with customer requirements. Everything is extra. Rooms not well isolated.
The spa! Very nice and relaxing. The check-out time is too early!
A new hotel opened summer 2009. Contemporary design, comfortable big beds, great wet room & bathrooms, wonderful pool, delicious food and great restaurant. 7 minutes walk to Otranto town centre. Good beaches 5 minutes drive. Staff were very helpful. Probably the best hotel in Otranto. Breakfast was basic continental and monotonous. Opaque glass doors on the toilet. No public internet desk (although receptionist will allow you use their office computers during afternoon siesta). Popular with families with young children! No late afternoon tea or drinks. 2010 should see some problems straightened out.
Modern Spa hotel Very Cold atmosphere
The staff was out of this world! I was sad to leave because I felt like I was saying good-bye to good friends. The location of the hotel was superb for enjoying centro storico and a mare. Breakfast was divine with fresh fruit, fresh juice and a nice meat and cheese selection! Il cafe was delizioso! The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel! I thought the rooms and lobby were a little modest for a five star rating. The walls were thin so you could hear your neighbors which was disappointing. Also, they used some sort of air freshner that was far too strong and I found each time I went into my room I had to open the doors and windows to air it out a bit. This could be terrible for anyone with severe allergies or asthma! Also, the front door would be locked at times so you would ring a bell to alert the front desk. It typically wasn't a problem but I was famous for returning when the staff would be upstairs. I think it would be beneficial if they had a system where guests could slide their keys to open the door. Better for the guest and probably the staff too!
This is not a hotel - from the first minute there, you feel like home. Although extremely friendly and helpful, the staff does not leave the impression that they do it because this is their job. Always very descreet and helpful in any way. We felt as though we were visiting friends in their home. Perfect location - in the historical center of Otranto, just minutes away from all shops, restaurants, the beaches. Wonderful roof terace, clean rooms. Rich and delicious breakfast... and many, many small details that make you so happy to stay there that at the end you feel sorry to leave.
Really friendly and helpful staff, perfect location and great roof terrace with jaccuzzi
The staff are lovely and go out of their way to be helpful. There are only 9 rooms and the location is bang in the centre of the old town. You can sunbathe on the roof terrace overlooking the sea and the old town. Had a lovely 2 days here in September 2010. Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice place to stay. A real recommendation. Excellent roof terras where you can relax and come to rest. There was a leak in our bathroom due to heavy rainfall during the night. Although a five star hotel there was no opportunity to have dinner.
Great location, very pleasant staff and very comfortable bed and pillows. The room seemed fairly small for a 5 star hotel. It was great value for the 99 euros we paid but I would have been unhappy for this size room at the headline price stated as several hundred euros.
Very helpful and friendly staff. A bit overpriced.
This is a lovely small hotel, beautifuly presented. The room was large with a good bathroom. Staff were extremely helpful. Hotel slightly out of town - about 15mins walk along a busy road to get to centre.
Very friendly staff who went out of their way to help with advice on the local area and any needs at the hotel. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was generous. While a bit out of town the location good for getting on the road to visit sights in the area and has good parking.
Our first impression was not so good .The hotel was situated at the crossing of 2 streets with a lot of traffic about 3 km from the center. But inside the hotel it was very quiet , the isolation was excellent . The hotel itself was also very luxurieus. You had to pay if you wanted to put a drink of you own in the fridge (minibar) !!!
