The valet attendants were wonderful. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants, remembered us as we grabbed our car multiple times, and were quick with getting the car. We were there for the Hal marathon and one of the attendants probably saw as many miles as we did getting the unusual line of people's cars at 6 a.m. He kept his smile on and joked around as he left multiple times to get cars.
I liked the cleanliness of the hotel, I also really enjoyed getting free cookies at check in and the location.
Walkable distance to shopping and restaurants, and other downtown attractions. Breakfast buffet at the hotel was delicious!
The staff and facility were first class and made our stay most enjoyable.
Clean, comfortable beds, room amenities, very polite and friendly staff Only negative is a mandatory 20 dollar per night valet fee, but that may be standard for the downtown
Great central location. Nice clean hotel and friendly staff. Comfortable beds and efficient service There were no refrigerators or microwaves as told me I would have on the confirmation sheet
I loved the beds and the cold bottles of water in the rooms. Transportation. With the State Fair going on, I would have liked to have seen transportation to the fair.
Very old, outdated building. Old uncomfortable mattresses. First night mateess reeked of smoke! But they quickly made a room change without hassle when I complained. Noisy neighborhood. I thought it would be a good central location. But ended up not being close to anything and shuttle has limited hours and places it goes., took a cab everywhere. No breakfast. Very limited workout facilities. Overall would not recommend.
When I got to the hotel to check in, they had upgraded us to the Ambassador Hotel instead of the Inn for free! The staff was very nice at the front desk & made sure I was happy. The overnight parking (the safer option compared to out on the street) costed $10, which isn't terrible, but I strongly feel every hotel should have free parking at their facilities where customers can feel assured their car is safe.
Conveniet-ish location. Room was dirty. Elevator smelled like pee. Walls are thin. Difficult to navigate if you have luggage.
The room was clean. Although the lobby, elevator and common areas had a foul smell. The beds were very uncomfortable. I think they purchased the least expensive mattress on the market. Every spring was felt. The shower had an area in the ceiling that needed to be repaired. Also, the caulk seal needed to be replaced around the tub.
Located right down the block from the rave. I could even see the tour busses. Didn't strike me as a hotel in a mainly residential area so you see peoples back porches, felt intrusive.
Staff was very friendly, eager to help, knowledgable about the area.
The atmosphere was like an adorable 1930's theme. The staff went above and beyond, continuously. They really helped sell the place. I will recommend this place time and time again. For the price, some updates would be nice. The shower heads and jacuzzi we're both older and a little worn.
Friendly staff but a little understaff. Very limited parking area but cheap for the charge, $10 a night. Overall very clean. Cart for luggage is hard to fit the small elevator. You have to manuever really good for a person and the cart to fit.
honestly, i think we stayed at the other ambassador across the street. friendly, helpful staff. super comfy bed and pillows. nice shower/tub space. the restaurant area looked nice too. can't say whether or not it could be considered a family hotel...i'd call and check with the hotel. i didn't see or hear any children though. that there was one switch to control all the lights in the room.
I liked that it was near a lit of fun bars and restaurants. I also thought it was fun and had a very cool look to it! Beds we a little hard.
There basically is no room. You feel cramped from the moment you arrive and realize you cannot pull up to the door and cannot park. Very casual staff. Maybe the 30 year olds like things this way. We do not. We will not be back.
The showers are nice. The blinds are really poor. You need thicker blinds to keep the light out. You can't keep the blinds open and expect to have any sort of privacy. The door from the shower to the rest of the room does not seal, so coming out of the shower is freezing. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING from surrounding rooms. They say the mattresses are firm. There are not firm.
Cool rooms Kinda dirty guys. House keeping woke me up and I had already called for late check out. Not cool
Loved the design, decor and features. Hip & modern without the overkill. Comfortable beds and spotless rooms.
The location is excellent, great views of the river and right next to the river walk. Within walking distance to some really great restaurants. Quiet, and the room was very comfortable! No parking lot, so you either pay to park or pay for valet service. Also, no free breakfast so we had to pay almost $30 just to eat breakfast.
Courteous staff, great decor, and clean room. The amount of endless noise in the hallway ALL night. Several parties were screaming from outside to someone staying on our floor.
Friendly staff, modern and comfortable accommodations, free water in the room. Great location, valet parking was mid-priced at $25 per day. We chose Aloft because I've stayed at the properties in other cities and had a similarly pleasant experience. And we had to find a place with a swimming pool. Aloft ion Milwaukee is well worth it. not much to dislike as we stayed for one night and the experience was very good.
The location is fantastic and the price of the rooms great. The room with 2 double beds my adult children had was pretty disgusting. The lamp had huge stains on the shade and the mattresses were all stained and disgusting looking ( they always check for bedbugs because my oldest son travels a lot and has seen them in hostels and nice hotels). The room was just very dingy and looked like a 2 star hotel Our room with a king was better but all the mattresses need to be upgraded and replaced. Carpets need cleaning etc The Kilawatt for brunch was okay. Food was not great....bloody Mary's were not so good....food adequate
One of the best in Milwaukee. We had to move to another 4 star (hyatt) on the same street after a day due to lack of availability at intercontinental and it was much inferior.
Fire alarms all night
Great customer service every time we visit. You can't beat this great downtown location.
Beds not that comfortable
Quiet room, easy walk to the show at the Riverside, cozy bedding, perfect room temp, courteous and helpful staff, excellent and affordable restaurants within walking distance. Arrive after 6:00 pm and leave before 8:00am so parking very reasonable at $8. everything was wonderful
The rooms are old & out dated. The beds are horrible.
If you need to be in Downtown Milwaukee, the hotel is well located, has parking (though it's really expensive with in and out privileges -- and I say this as a Bostonian used to paying out the nose for parking), and the public spaces of the building are really nice and well maintained. The gent working the desk when we checked in was also a delight and gave lots of useful recommendations about what sites to see and where to eat. A+ to that guy. Our room itself was pretty low end, especially for an Intercontinental. The air conditioning didn't work, every piece of furniture was damaged, and the walls and bathroom showed a lot of wear and tear. When the front desk staff was alerted the ac didn't work, the guy simply said, "Oh, sorry." D- to that guy.
Great hotel if you are attending a show at The Pabst Theater or Milwaukee Rep since all three share a common lobby. Check in was quick and friendly (thanks Cory) and the room was spacious and clean. The candy/RedBull/bottled water purchase basket was a bit strange, but the rest of the room was fine. Parking is expensive for the area ($27).
Great location Take of and clean the ac vent better
The hotel is clean, excellent amenities, friendly staff and good good location. I'd stay again and recommend it to others.
Beautiful historic hotel. Comfortable, clean and we enjoyed our stay.
Loved the ambience in the lobby. The room we stayed in was clean with a great view is the lake. Have to pay for wifi in this current age of free WiFi everywhere.
Amazing hotel. Everything was 5 star.
Old school charm and service The decor, the people and the vibe.
We booked a last-minute room at the Pfister and loved our stay from start to finish. The room was beautiful and clean with a great view, service was stellar, and the location could hardly be improved. It doesn't hurt that the hotel is where we stayed after getting engaged! Great experience and we will definitely stay again next time we're in Milwaukee. Pretty much perfect.
This is a beautiful hotel We had the $200 room. No fridge or extra sink. I thought it was a little lacking for a luxury hotel. I guess we should of upgraded.
Beautiful hotel with tons of character and charm. Good service, friendly staff, comfortable accommodations. Hotel lobby bar and Blu were excellent. Complimentary breakfast in the Cafe offered good food and full choice of anything on menu. Onsite amenities such as spa, shops and additional restaurants offer an extra touch. For the price of the rooms, wifi was not free. Given the necessity in today's day and age, not to mention that it is complimentary in many more basic hotels, this was a big let down. Especially when service in the tower is spotty for mobile without Wifi. It felt like a nickeled and dimes amenity. Clientele felt a bit uppity.
It was a casual atmosphere with an elegant touch. The rooms we had (we stayed on the way to and from Minneapolis) were unique. We had two different corner alcove rooms, and each of them were fantastic. The Patio was comfortable and a lot of fun. We were there for the first Thursday night of the season (biker night) and we very pleased.
comfortable bed and great shower. excellent location for getting about town.
I stay in hotels all over the country and this place was one of a kind. If you like motorcycles, staying here is a no brainer. You're a short walk away from the HD Museum and the feel and decor of the hotel has a rugged-modern vibe. I didn't get a chance to hang out at the bar but it looked like like a upbeat scene. Their signature restaurant was excellent. That I didn't have my Harley with me!
The Iron Horse Hotel has a very industrial, contemporary decor that is AMAZING! Every detail is considered!! Nothing
My wife and I stayed at the Iron Horse Hotel for a short weekend getaway from Chicago. We loved the hotel. The food at Smyth was great; don't miss the goat cheese appetizer and pork belly. The bar was also a really nice touch; the decor was all dark leather/wood and the cocktails were great. The staff for the entire hotel were some of the best I have seen and I stay in hotels 3-4 nights a week for business. The only reason I gave the hotel 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the dog policy. We live in a high-rise in downtown Chicago that allows dogs, so we weren't expecting to be bothered by a little noise. However, there were multiple occasions when dogs would be crying and howling (most likely from being left alone in an unfamiliar room) early in the morning and late at night. This wasn't the best for our romantic weekend away, but wouldn't stop me from visiting the Iron Horse Hotel in the future.
Whole experience from check in to check out was incredible. Rooms were very large, extremely comfortable, well appointed and stocked. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive to all of our requests Nothing
The Econco Lodge was close to the airport. The desk clerk was great, he tried everything to find my reservation and then booked me at the same price as booking.com. The hotel did not have my resveration from Booking.com, I had the confirmation number and info with me but the clerk at the desk could not find me in their system. Luckily there were 5 rooms left and I was able to book a room at the desk.
It was comfortable and the staff was very nice. I only stayed the one night. The shuttle was on time.
The hotel was convenient to the airport and competitively priced. Free hotel shuttle and free continental breakfast
Good price. With the time will need some renovation.
Budget price, convenient for us location near airport, comfortable bed and room, good internet connection, quiet. No elevator for taking heavy baggage to second floor; first room smelled of cigarette smoke, had to get room change; vending machines had no bottled water or quality juices, just soft drinks.
good location, nice staff, good price. decent hotel for a quick stay said i get a king room but i got a 2-double instead. i would have preferred a king. also the bathroom towels were not very clean
Proximity to our business, easy going atmosphere. Shower could have been cleaner
Inexpensive Dirty and in very bad need of repair/cleaning. I didn't like the place at all. Breakfast area floor was filthy and completely put me off eating there. Would highly recommend that it got cleaned and spruced up asap.
Excellent value. Free breakfast. Free WiFi. Clean. It was a busy weekend and they did not have sufficient parking.
Originally put me in a smoking room without asking if that was alright. Switched me into regular room after I complained. A nasty old tea bag left next to phone. Never followed thru on wake up call the morning I requested one.
The staff was very helpful and personable. It was extremely clean the beds were comfortable the shower was amazing the breakfast better than most free breakfasts. Felt safe and comfortable I didn't like that I didn't have any money to top. due to an extremely rough day prior to arriving at the hotel. Next time I stay I will make up for it.
Sketchy, sketchy place. I personally should have done better research , as I am unfamiliar with Milwaukee, but this was bad nights stay. We walked in and were welcomed by a dirty elevator. The community room on our floor looked to have been used for a party of some sort and it was filthy and full of trash. No staff member was seeing to it. Our room looked to be in pretty good shape. At about 11pm the smoke alarm went off in the hall way. I am assuming it was a false alarm from some one smoking in a room or stairwell. The fire department did arrive, but we were not given any instruction from the staff so we stayed in our room. Our rooms alarm was not going off. After about 15 mins of the alarm going off it stopped and we were able to sleep. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone who can afford something nicer.
Sketch place for sure.... too many other options in the area to even consider this hotel.
Staff was very nice. Free shuttle to downtown. Asked for a quiet room, got a quiet room. Big rooms. Nice shower. Free parking. Cute bar downstairs with a really nice bartender. Semi-seedy location, just wouldn't go walking around by yourself at night. A/c kept going on and off, so we were either super cold or hot.
Front Desk Staff was great! Cleanliness of the sheets when ready to turn down for the night, looked like there was blood stains on sheets. When calling down for service to get new sheets they brought them up but we had to change the dirty sheets and did not give us all new bedding just a fitted and a flat sheet.
Upon arrival we were greated NY friendly and very helpful staff. Night front desk service was incredibly rude and crass and didn't seem to care about either. I would not return bas we on the night staff's attitude ever again!!!
We only stayed one night while we made a trip up to a Brewers game while we were staying in Chicago. The hotel has a shuttle that will take you to the game and back for $10. We didn't use this feature, but it is a nice one to have if you don't have a car. They will also shuttle you anywhere within 2 miles for free. The room was clean and quiet. Parking and wifi are free. Parking filled up at night when we returned from the baseball game, but we parked on the street with no problems. The free breakfast was typical of a free breakfast, but when trying to save a little money it is a nice feature to have. Do not leave valuables in your car or anything that looks tempting. We did witness a man walking around checking in cars and pulling on handles. When he saw us watching he got in his car (with a child in the front seat!) and drove off.
Great breakfast and free shuttle if willing to wait a bit. Shower was hard to shut off and bathroom not the cleanest. Also front desk was always busy with in person or calls.
Not too far from Old World section of Milwaukee. Made the walk once. Room was nice enough. Its got everything you need (fridge, safe, decent shower, A/C, etc.) . The staff looked like work release clients from a halfway house but they were all fairly friendly and helpful with directions and carrying bags. Cheap. WiFi had serious issues. Would drop and stay down for hours. Had I known that I would have never stayed. The neighborhood isnt ideal. Lock your car. When I asked about the shuttle taking me to the airport they told me they wouldnt recommend it because sometimes the driver "oversleeps" and to take a cab or a bus instead. This was fine for a single adult male staying a couple days with a vehicle. Probably wouldnt recommend a family on an extended trip though.
Was good that it was close to the airport, with shuttle service Front desk didn't have any of my booking info, and even though I had the confirmation email in front of me I still had to call the booking agency myself - waited on hold while my wife had to sit and wait in the lobby with our bags. Finally got through, they sent a confirmation fax to the hotel, that took another ten minutes and still we had to wait in the lobby. No, "we'll get you checked into a room while you wait," nothing. Finally they get the info - and our key cards don't work. So I go back downstairs, they get reset, card opens door to the pool area... Still doesn't open the room. So it's now been 45 minutes since we walked into this place, I express my extreme frustration to the guy at the front desk - nothing new set of key cards for a room down the hall. No apology, no asking how to make things better, nothing. Room was pretty lousy condition too but that's what you get for the price I guess. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
WiFi signal was poor quality. In room air conditioner was loud and emitted dry air - getting adequate sleep was challenging.
My partner and I had a standard room with a king bed. It was really nice! I was not expecting such a nice place for how much we paid. Our 3 and 6 year old nieces were with us and they had lots of fun playing in the indoor pool. It was freezing outside but the pool was heated. We also tried the hot tub and sauna which were great. Some reviews said the water was dirty but I did not experience this. The bottom of the hot tub is discolored from age is all. The hotel offered a free shuttle to the airport which was convenient. Scheduling a shuttle to the airport could have been better. Our only choices were to leave at 9:30 AM or 4:30 PM. I don't know if this is typical but it is what we experienced.
24 hour shuttle to airport Good price Free parking Old hotel Needs updates Huge gap around frame of door to room Doesn't seen secure in rooms
Excellent family hotel. Its a little aged, but well taken care of by the staff. Great pool for the kids and breakfast buffet was well above expectations. Staff was very nice and helpful. Check out was quick and easy over the phone. Perfect location next to the airport. Due to several gatherings parking was a bit sparse by the entrance closest to our room; however, we were able to find a spot on the opposite side of the hotel. Someone got sick in the hallway and it took about 15-30 minutes before someone came over to clean it up.
It was in a very convenient location to activities downtown, but the price will not break your budget. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating. It was a "renovated" hotel, but many of the renovations seemed half heartedly done. Also that was a weird residue in the tub that we had to run the shower for a while to remove.
Free shuttle Toilet was clogged and would not flush properly, we called to have it fixed and the staff member told us that the toilet was cleaned, however needed to be replaced and they would have to go to store to get a new one. Eating utensils were dirty at the breakfast buffet. We checked in and received 2 full beds in room instead of 1 king as reservation stated. This was fixed for us, however not for our friends we were traveling with.
We got a room here for $80, and it was perfect: right by the airport, solid breakfast buffet, big clean room. We rolled in at 2:15am, and the staff got us kitted out quickly and easily. Really, a very good experience. Nothing. Had we paid closer to list price I'd question the general feel of the place, as it's rambling and feels a bit fixed-up rather than new. But if you can find discounted rooms, it's a hell of a value.
The hotel room was clean and free breakfast was good. Even though the hotel pool closed at 10 pm there were loud guests hanging around in that area and in hallways making a lot of noise until after midnight. Even after calling the front desk to complain it was noisy.
Clean comfortable room and cheerful, helpful staff. The folks in the restaurant were especially pleasant and efficient.
The customer service demonstrated at this hotel was outstanding very friendly staff knowledgeable people who went out of their way to make my stay a very enjoyable and memorable one! What's not to like? the bar staff was great the food outstanding I had a steak - delicious! Even the hotel shuttle driver a very pleasurable young man was outstanding in his attention to duty !
The place smelled bad. It was apparent when I entered the hotel. My room had a horrible odor that I had to ask for a new room. Very dingy with poor lighting. They were suppose to have muffins and juice prior to 6am but the did not. They had a basket of cookies.who wants cookies in the morning. Not impressed at all.
I had never heard of a "Best Western Plus" before but if they are all like this, that will be what I look for first from here on. It looks like they took an old hotel and modernized it quite well. If you look hard you can tell it's pretty old but it feels good and I had no cleanliness issues while there. Very good breakfast with very nice people all the way around. Airport shuttle was very quick.
Staff was excellent Bed was terrible, had a big dip in the center, the outdoor card entries on several of the doors were broken. The AC did not work well
Location Breakfast buffet for $8.95 was reasonable Beds were lumpy and slanted Floors were damp Hallways were stinky and damp TV was a box TV that only got one channel Temperature control didn't work well
It is in Milwaukee and so was I. Pretty shabby. I wouldn't call it dirty, but it was hardly gleaming. It clearly hasn't been updated in decades. It is "downtown," but not really near anything. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Thermostat didn't apparently do anything. If you are desperate for a room in downtown Milwaukee...
The location was perfect The air conditioner didn't work and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable
Right next to Amtrak Air conditioning wasn't working, terrible for the late summer. Elevators weren't working correctly either.
The bed and pillows were comfortable enough and thankfully looked clean. Front desk staff were friendly. Parking is free, but in an unsecured lot behind the hotel. This hotel has not been kept up. It's in poor shape - lots of things that need to be repaired/replaced, fixtures partially off the wall. It also needs to be deep cleaned - some things, like the light switch, were so dirty that I didn't want to touch them. There was a huge gap under the door, which is both unsafe and bad for noise. Not worth what they charge. I would not stay there again.
Convenient location for our needs. Dirty. Blood on the back of the bathroom door. Poor drainage in bathroom. Shabby. Very poor internet connection. Very much overpriced -- I've stayed in lovely boutique hotels in the Chicago Loop for less.
Friendly staff was the ONLY bright spot, everything else was terrible. Per the previous reviews, I was expecting a rude staff, but the reality was that the staff is friendly. It's the facilities that are terrible and any hotel would/should be ashamed of (ESPECIALLY being situated downtown). - 1 of 2 elevators functions ("functions" used loosely) - walls, ceilings and carpets are old and stained - room furniture was cheap and archaic - A/C did not work, hot air vented at all settings (room was unbearably hot) - bathtub drain was clogged and water did not drain - plain and simple, if the rest of the rooms are like the one my wife and I stayed in, the entire hotel NEEDS to be revamped/remodeled - based on this stay we will not be staying at a Ramada again
It was downtown Dated and not the cleanest. Loud, and extra charges on my card at the end...
Location was good for what I was there for. Staff was friendly. Rooms were adequate. Dated decore, bathroom showers kind of dirty. Long hairs still on shower walls. Homeless people were sitting out front. Price was high for this condition of hotel. Not likely to stay again
Leaving Everything besides leaving
Our room was broken into and things were stolen. The overnight guy at the desk was not helpful. The hotel did not offer an apology or look into who could have entered our room. Bad experience!
Nice bed Nice staff I was disappointed that the front desk person did not know what bus to take to get to the airport.
The pool looked nice, didn't get to enjoy it though. - Air conditioner/heater didn't work - Someone else's dirty washcloth was left in the shower - There was a huge puddle of water on the floor that looked like it came from the fan - The curtains facing the parking lot (we were ground level) were broken and mangled - The "Sleep Number" bed was broken and very hard - We were given two full beds instead of one king bed - Took half an hour to check in because the "system was down"
Nothing. The master key got lost! The person went in my room and took my credit card, checkbook, 50 dollars in cash, and earlier i bought brand new boots and a scarf and they took that too. I was left with no money and my flight was not until four days later. The worst experience ever!
It was a great location for us with it being right off 43 The security you would expect was not there. The outside access door we were using did not require a key and when we were getting ready to leave at 9 am, housekeeping tried to get in already. Luckily our door was latched but there are t any dead bolts on the room doors so she was able to open it slightly.
Staying in same place as my confrence The room was stuffy, smelled stinky and stale. When I opened the window, the freeway sounds made it hard to hear the tv show i was watching...the fan did little to take out stale smell.
The bed was comfy and room was spacey
Didn't like the clientele. Place was dirty and staff did not care. Horrible place to stay unless you have nowhere else to go in such short notice.
Location. I hate the SleepNumber beds. They are very uncomfortable.
Check in was streamlined, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless. There is no refridgerator in the room, and there was a coulple of wrappers in the hallway near the elevator.
Room was not really clean- - there were fingernail clippings!
Quiet room even though facing expressway. Bed a bit old but comfortable. Hotel hallways smelled of chlorine.
I was impressed by everyone's customer friendly attitude. Every employee I met from the Manager down to the Custodian greeted me with a smile and went out of there way to make my stay pleasant. The breakfast buffet was excellent.
Everything was very clean and the staff were very helpful. Expensive parking. Could've parked somewhere else in the city for much cheaper. There were a lot of business people there and no family attractions such as a pool.
Ambiance and location were great. The corner room on the 15th floor had a great view. Elevators could be quicker.
We needed to stay near the airport to see a family member off on an early am flight. We drove a long way. It was wonderful to go into a clean, very comfortable room to sleep. The staff were very helpful and pleasant, even helping when we had trouble with the flight which extended the stay a bit. It is our place to go in Milwaukee, now.
Seemed newly remodeled Way over prices snacks ($2 for a small bag of chips)
Access to freeway and area locations. Expedient check-in. Cleanliness. Antiquated shower head and bathroom sink outside of the bathroom.
quick, easy check in, excellent room, convenient & available. Airport shuttle driver had safety equipment dirty, out of order and in walkway of persons boarding & un-boarding. Driver was advised personally & well in advance of need of airport pickup, and left my party & another stranded in frigid weather awaiting whilst attempts of phone contact from two independent needs went unanswered & mis-routed. I feel very strongly this was deliberate to obstruct our timeliness. Report to onsite management went without response.
The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast buffet was amazing expensive but very good. The hotel décor was very nice and the hotel overall was very clean and modern. The only problem I had was that the bathroom in my room was not very clean on check in, and due to time constraints I was not able to get the situation rectified so I just had to deal with it. Fortunately when I did mention it to hotel staff they did apologize and gave me a nice discount off the price of my stay. So I was pleased with that. I would absolutely stay there again if ever in Milwaukee.
Friendy staff, clean facility, decent gym not much around the area for food/entertainment
Walls thin; Rooms were loud
Easy to get to the Brewer Game. Avoided downtown area with Summer Fest going on since we didn't want to go there. Close to Wauwautsa and fun beer garden at Hoyt Park. Very clean hotel. Quiet even though they were full.
The bed, was comfortable. Pool not heated. Bathroom had tape on many tiles, there were dirty towels under the bed. Did not notice till before checkout when we looked for something we had lost. I think it was a good stay, just small overseen things.
clean hotel and nice employees Pool was very small
Nice rooms and very comfortable beds. The complimentary breakfast was also very good. It's in a good location for downtown activities. Staff was very friendly and responded quickly to request for service. The room was clean, but dated. The carpet needs replacing and fixtures need some minor repairs or upkeep. For the price of the room, the parking should be included.
Free Hot Breakfast Location Comfy bed When we checked in it was about 75 degrees fahrenheit outside... and about 80 degrees in our hotel room. It was very hot and muggy, and the windows did not open. The air conditioning was not working at all and the staff was totally unconcerned about remedying the situation. They tried telling us that everything was working fine, but of course it was not. The only thing the hotel did to fix it was to give us a box fan. They told us that it would cool off at night... but it did not. Multiple people complained but nothing was done to accommodate us or to compensate us for the inconvenience. Staff was at worst, rude, and at best, disinterested. When we checked in at 3:00 on a Thursday they only had 1 person working so we had to wait a very long time to check in. The bathroom was leaking water from the ceiling above the sink. The furniture in the room was worn and in need of repair or replacement. For $20 more a night we could have stayed somewhere much nicer.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great experience for my first trip to Milwaukee. Would absolutely stay here again for sure!
Was very happy to stay here. Clean and beautiful. Loved breakfast, but they need to season the scrambled eggs on the breakfast buffet.
Unfortunately the pool area was under construction while we were there which was one of the main reasons we had booked this particular hotel. Also, the room the we stayed in (423 I think) only had one small window that was so high that I had to stand on a chair to see out, but then it only looked to the other side of the building and a roof. It was a bit like a dark hole, but we decided that maybe they put us in that room because there aren't any adjoining rooms & we had an infant?
Competent and helpful staff. The business center was experiencing technical difficulties but the front desk staff were happy to print our boarding passes for us.
We got a free upgrade for our stay as all the rooms were not full nothing
Location of the hotel was excellent. I was visiting the Harley Museum and this was only a short drive from the hotel. Getting from the parking lot to the hotel was not that easy. In the end there were about 4 of us wondering round the parking garage trying to find the entrance. But once inside the hotel was very nice
We loved that the hotel was close to everything in Milwaukee. We also loved that there was a pool, exercise room, and free breakfast.
Every thing Locked doors after 11:00 with a broke pass card door
Located within 5 minutes of the airport with a 24 hour shuttle to the airport. Nice breakfast that is put out at 5AM for early travelers. The room was beautiful with very comfortable king size beds. The microwave and refrigerator was very convenient. No cons.
It was mine nd my husband first anniversary, it was the perfect place to go
Nothing made it very unclear which room you were actually paying for when I arrived at hotel I went up to room and it was nothing like expected. When I asked for a refund or room change they said rooms were occupied and they couldn't refund my money. In suites doors didn't even close and lock was useless to ajointing room. Alarm blasted at 5am while I was trying to sleep on mediocre bed with annoying railings as headrest. Pool is no where as big as depicted in pictures. Overall very misleading pictures.
Liked the pool area, free breakfast ad free cookies by the front desk. I did not like all the children being loud by the pool on Friday night. Splashing everywhere, exact opposite of relaxining.
Pool For $100/ night can't complain too much but here's the bad: no once/day room cleaning even though they claim they will; hot breakfast means scrambled eggs and ham bits soaking in warm water; breakfast dining room only seats about 16 people and there are 25 trying to eat; night staff waiting for the ride home outside the lobby at 8am are chain smoking and monopolizing the single outdoor table and chairs; complimentary newspaper is rare to be able to find; free cookie jar is always empty; free wi-fi too slow to stream a short 2 minute YouTube video
The only complaints I have are that the pool closes too early, we went to a concert and by the time we got back the pool was closed. And the hot breakfast was scrambled eggs and diced ham, no biscuits and gravy like other country inn and suites I have stayed at
