The resort facilities were great for the cost. The leisure area and dining facility were both better than expected for an all inclusive resort in the West Bay area. The hotel staff was incompetent. I pre-coordinated to have the hotel shuttle service come 15 minutes prior to their scheduled 0545 departure time to facilitate making my 0645 flight (which was more than enough time according to the staff members who said the ride would take 20 minutes and the check in would take an additional 20-30). The shuttle was over 30 minutes late, resulting in a hectic and dangerous ride to the airport, and ultimately, us missing our flight. The mistake and incompetence of the staff costed me over $1,200 purchasing new plane tickets.
Most people were very helpfull dining at the beach, food and service was good, except for the flies and sea fleas jumping on my plate!!!!
Hotel staff, bar staff---Digna, Ziggy, Chock-o-latte---are the best. Nothing.
THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY NICE AND KIND THE BEACHES IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL ARE BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN THE FOOD SERVICE WAS TOO SLOW YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOUR FOOD AT LEAST ONE AND A HALF HOUR TO EAT THE CURTAIN OF THE ROOM WERE IN BAD CONDITION THERE WAS NO EXTRA SHEET OR QUILT
