I very appreciate the quality of breakfests and menu in the hotel the location close to the bus station and the main road caused noisy nights early in the morning.
Central location, good size rooms, clean. bit big and inpersonal
The position. The TV is in the other room than the bed.
the hotel is overall an excellent choice, centrally located in downtown cortina and steps away from the ski lifts. ideal for families with small kids, although the playing room advertised was not available for use. a bit expensive, but well worth the price as you won't have any bad surprises. the staff is very pleasant. they have hotel parking but a bit overpriced. book panoramic view rooms.
Food, staff can't speak english
Location (central, close to the main bus station, the Faloria lift), comfort of the rooms. The 14 euro room service charge for a 10 euro meal. The staff is rather uptight and doesn't give you any information unless you ask for it (ski maps, ski rental, ski deposit, weather forecast, snow forecast, ski guides etc, etc). There was no Internet either.
warm welcome, exellent staf. Great location 2 min walking to Faloria ski cable car. and 1 min walking to shop district. Parking fee a bit much.
room was clean very bad service. Staff couldn't explain parking system, city and walking information and lack of responsibility.
Location is excellent, room facilities and cleanliness were very good Breakfast buffet did not match the rest of the hotel standards
Location and rooms Breakfast could have more bread options
adjoining rooms - very loud could hear every conversation even the neighbour snoring all night!!!!
Excellent view, Cozy feeling, Table and chair in the room, Mountain lodge with full amenity
The staff at Hotel Europa was extremely helpful when we had problems with out rental car. I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was great! Rooms on the street side can be noisy with the windows open.
Very good buffet breakfast, comfy bed, bath and shower. The road was very noisy at the front of the hotel, I asked for a quieter room at the back and it was changed with no problem at all. The staff were very helpful and it was well placed to walk into town. The price of the evening meal was not displayed on the menu.
great location, views and excellent staff. Lello the bartender is awesome.
The Hotel is easy to find, great location in Cortina, walking distance to the main center of town. The hotel itself is very quaint and nicely appointed in the lobby, bar, and seating areas. You felt as if you stepped into a nicely appointed Hunting Lodge with a fireplace and comfy chairs. The rooms varied greatly by location. The Hotel seemed to be a favorite spot for tour buses. There were 2 buses there at the same time we were. The Hotel staff was just almost courteous. If you had a concern, they weren't too worried about helping you. They were not able to do any laundry for us, even though we were there 2 days and their website said laundry cleaning was available.
Helpful staff lack of ski room
Stunning view of the mountains from our room and in easy walking of the town centre. Our junior suite had a balcony which caught the afternoon sun and was a good size. No food available in the hotel in the evening, presumably because it was out of season. It would have been good to be aware of this when we made the booking. The sofa in the suite was very uncomfortable really serving as a spare bed.
I stayed in a small, single bed room at Hotel Europa in Cortina D'Ampezzo. From my window I could see all the way up valley and had the pleasure each morning and evening of watching the valley wake up and the sunset. It was incredible. The room didn't have A/C but it was totally fine. The window was large and could be openend completely and there was also a lovely balcony where I spent the nights drinking wine and reading while smoking cigars. The hotel provided an ashtray too. I will definitely stay here again! I wish the fridge was a little larger. I had to take out all of the provided drinks to make room for the food I prepared for my hikes each morning and for the dinners I made in the room each evening. This is a very minor complaint though.
The rooms were wonderful and the views from them were spectacular. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions for dining and sightseeing.
Veldig servicevenlig personell.
Location, iterior design, common living spaces, personell attitude and service. Prices of extras, prices of spa,the parking is xpensive, the price of 30 euro per person per day for the indoors sw/pool is totaly unacceptable.a 5*hotel must have sw pool free.
A hotel with a great staff! Even given that the reservation has been done wrong by us, and we arrived at the hotel a day later than was booked, the staff was extremely helpful and resolved the problem without additional cost. All recommendations received from staff was excellent. A special mention to a private underground parking very secure, with a height which allows access up to a height of 2.1 meters. Furniture room wants to be modern but unfortunately looks very cheap compared to trim of the hotel public spaces. The carpet in front of the main entrance is not exactly an elegant detail ...
Beautiful spot, nice attentive staff ,good food , all good probably even more fun in the winter, nice. just the price, we had too pay extra for a suite with a view, a suite room should always have a view, so important to check this as your booking only says suite room but the hotel mailed me back and said 70 euros more for the room with a view which I paid and we got the view ,but it annoyed me !!!!
fabulous luxurious hotel. staff were very helpful and friendly.nice pool and spa but pool a bit cold. location on top of a steep hill but shuttle service rectified this
Good service but you depend on the shuttle and the ski storage is only at the hotel, not by the slopes.
the facilities and staff were great. very expensive to eat and drink in the hotel.
Service of concierge excellent το spa δεν παρεχει relaxation στο pool area λογω τησ υπαρξησ παιδιων.
This hotel was a fabulous buy for the money. The hotel was located in a very scenic part of Cortina. A full buffet breakfast was included with the rate. The staff was extremely helpful and spoke English. The pool area and hot tub were well maintained and very scenic also. I would definitely stay here again. It may have cost a little more but it was well worth it. None
Wonderful views from mountain view rooms. Superb fitness facilities, excellent staff. It was v hot in Cortina when we stayed with all 3 days (30-35 degrees C). The hotel has no aircon which would have made it perfect in the heat - but I guess its unusual to have these sort of tempertatures 1200m up in the Dolomites.
Good location the center of village. Opposite restaurant and discoteque with lots of noise in middle of night.
Great location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, nice breakfast.
Location excellent , right in town centre. Manager/owner very helpful and knows area well. Breakfast fine but found it odd that you pay €1 extra for a boiled egg. Add ons like the boiled egg , €10 charge for internet access and extra charges for tv programs other than those in italian.
location rooms were very dark and very small
Location-centre of town, near to shops and restaurants. On site carpark.Staff helpful and friendly.Good breakfast. Room a little small.Very old TV
It is a charming older building. The setting in the Dolomites is breathtaking. Out a ways from the bustle of Cortina. The desk clerk was a grump. He often treated me like an annoyance. The rest of the staff I liked. Bartender, food servers, etc. Hotel seemed well run.
nice but noisy location. lack of local charm and personality. poor restaurant and menu
Excellent location for skiing The shower had 4 tiny streams of cold water coming out of shower head - check out the shower before staying in room so you can change before unpacking
beautiful location, ski in and ski out, ski rental shop in the basement very convenient some of the rooms have poor sound proofing
The atmosphere of the hotel has some Italian flair; hence even if details are not perfect you just accept it with a smile. And the location is simply stunning.
It saved 5km of uphill cycling in the morning Poor service. Very expensive comsidering location, service & breakfast.
the view is amazing. its just 5 minutes out of cortina. its peaceful and quite.
Was a really nice place, good for skiing. The room was clean and big enough. The food in the ristorante was really good...
the location was ideal and the views were spectacular, breakfast was good and the staff helpful
The setting of the hotel is very nice and well situated for a few days tough cycling in the Dolomites. The staff were friendly and helpful
The restuarant dinner deal offered at €25.00 was quite good. The room was spacious and comfortable except for the bathroom which lacked a bath. The hotel web site description and the booking.com description needs to be read carefully as I thought I was staying right in the centre of town but it is actaully a 20 minute walk to town on a very busy road. The hotel is certainly not a 4 star standard so the rate per day was very high in relation to the quality overall. The hotel manager or perhaps owner lavishly entertained what appeared to be his own family and friends throughout our stay and did not once ask if we were enjoying our stay. If asked I would have noted that the state of the car park and the organisation of parking was simply unnacceptable. On departure the receptionist almost admitted that the hotel was not up to scratch.
Very kind, attentive service both at the front desk and in the restaurant. The dinner was also excellent, breakfast was good, too. Rooms are spacious, not very up-to-date, but comfortable, clean. WIFI is available in the lobby only, should be available in the rooms, too.
Really friendly, helpful staff. Large clean room. Is too far to walk into town in winter months but we had a car so this not a problem. A ski bus stops outside hotel but not sure what times this runs.
I'd like stay there once again
everything breakfast should start from 7 o'clock
The staff were very helpful and attentive and provided an excellent service It is slightly further from the town centre than I appreciated from the information provided and you must factor in local travel arrangements if you plan to stay for more than a few days. parking at the Hotel is free and secure. We were skiing for a long weekend break and as we had a hre car it worked well for getting into town and transport to he various ski lift stations
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate us and to make us feel at home. The hotel is very clean and the views are from the rooms are extraordinary. We will stay here every time we go to Cortina. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed it immensely.
The decor, the location and the staff were very good We had to pay the night before because we wanted to be away before 10am. No-one to pay until after 10am. This meant waking up one of my friends to get him to pay.
Helpful staff. Great views. Bar was a bit dull - no crisps! Limited wine list. No cooked breakfast.
The decor was wonderful. The interior of the hotel was tranquil and quiet and the breakfast was great - again in a wonderful and quiet room. The views of the mountains from the hotel were fantastic. traffic noise from the road which luckily subsided during the night.
Friendly hotel attendant and correct half pension food. Considering the infrastructure of the ski area of Cortina d'Ampezzo and the location of the hotel, your life will be easier if you have a car.
The rooms were comfortable and the meals were good value but not particularly inspired. The location is close to the slopes and approx 5 km from central Cortina. It was possible to access the lift system from the door, but this required ahike of approx 500m of cross country.
