Had a smoking room that had obviously had a smoker as a recent guest as evidenced by the smell in the room and cigarette ashes on the window ledge.
central location in the centre very poor service unfriendly employees don^t know how they have 4stars - rooms are not ok
It was centrally located Cleanliness, no English speaking staff, needs refurbishment
wellness services, breakfest the dirt of the carpet on the passages, poor quality of the beds, smell of the smoke everywhere (even in our nonsmoking room), only 1 towel per person
Very old furnishing.
the old designe of the dining room the hotel has two section - 1 in the old building which is romantic and nice. the 2nd is "new" section which looks a bit old in the bad meaning of the word. they gave me a room in the "new" dection.
Very interesting architecture of the hotel. Not all staff speak English and this is a huge disadvantage. Breakfast was very simple. Some rooms do not have functioning aircon.
Room facilities were very basic and in need of refurbishment. Bed was very uncomfotable. No shelf space in bathroom. We made reservation in hotel restaurant only to find it was actually closed when we went down!
yes, the problem of parking./ you should pay for every day parking while I think a hotel should grant free parking for his customers .
Sauna, and gym The room was from the 70's
Your receptionists were nice and friendly. The sizel of blanket was small. The breakfast was not having many choices.
It is right in the central square of the city. The people are nice. 1. The hotel is slightly refurbished, it still has the "smell" of the Communist era. If you want a 3 stars hotel then you have to consider another one. 2. The central square of the city is a nightmare during night. If you'll get windows on the front side of the hotel then you have to be aware of: screams of drunk & homeless people or just citizens howling and singing till 4 in the morning. 3. I had a beautiful morning picture of a naked homeless sleeping in grass right in the front of the hotel, below my window.
it needs some improvements (ie tv stations) other than that its central loaction is ideal
The staff were very helpful
The room size, comfort, the interior design of the room, central position of the hotel, peace and quiet, free internet access. I have no comment.
A great central location and we really appreciated the room refrigerator and electric hot water pot.
The hotel has no separate parking area so you must be lucky to find a parking space especially during the day. The breakfast buffet is disappointing.
Excellent location in terms of shops, access to the tram system and within walking distance of the beautiful pedestrian street/square. Good restaurant and breakfast
its in the city center hotel and service are very good none
Extremely polite, helpful and professional staff. A luxurious hotel. Best value for money I have experienced. Excellent swimmimg, sauna etc. Not as close to the center of Debrecen as I thought (30 min walk) but good tram service and taxis reasonable. No internet access other than wireless at weekend.
excellent price compared to a 5 star hotel. Friendly staff.
A new and very comfortable hotel on the edge of town, opposite a park and on the main tram route to the centre.
I did not like the service during the breakfast and cleaning the room.
The staff, the desing, the little spa. The matress is very very hard and the individual bed is very small (around 80-90cm). You have to book the room in "booking" because it is more cheaper than in the hotel rate, I think that it is not normal if we are usually clients.
The bathroom was the nicest part of the room, plenty of towells and good shower. Very little information available in the room regarding hotel facilities, room service, local information, telephones, internet, no information provided what so ever, hidden charges associated with service. Small room with view of an old soviet style hotel opposite, no forrest view. Staff speak very little english. The first 5 star hotel in Eastern Hungary, this is a joke, In Western Europe this hotel would be lucky to get 3 stars. I think it was the spa and health centre that maybe gives the hotel those extra stars but I did not have a chance to use any of these facilities.
The staff are incredibly rude both at the reception and in the restuarant. I was not made welcome at all. This was the second time I stayed here and I had the same experience previously. I gave the hotel a second chance but I regret it. The rooms are hugely overpriced compared to what they offer. Next time if I stay in Debrecen I will find another hotel but will not go back to Divinus ever again.
the swimming pool no information in the room about the city, the hotel, etc.
The hotel is excellent, the stuff is very polite and helpful. The rooms are tidy and nice.
The staff were great, the spa facitlities super. To give the services and facilities an excellent rating I feel they could of provided a more varied breakfast, we stayed just over a week it became very boring. The car park could be cheaper, it was pratically empty so I feel this should be offered in price of room. Only other element is the spa was fantastic, just maybe a few more gym equipments not machines but weights/dun bells etc. These are nothing major as the hotel was lovely would stay there again.
The cleanliness of the room, the silence, the Sunday breakfast (Monday was not so good), the location, the parking. Internet is available, but only with cable. The shower cabin does not close, causing floods when you take a shower.
Excellent parking. Good central location close to a really nice museum and the city center. Helpful staff.
The location (especially good for the cultural interests), excellent wellness possibilities
A very comfortable and well managed hotel a short walk from the main square. Not many choices in the area for dining, but the dining room of the hotel has a nice menu and good food.
The room was comfortable and the hotel itself had a pleasant environment and was good value for money. Although Debrecen is a rather quiet city, there was occasionally some late nightr noise from the square outside.
Although it is a new Hotel, there are many unfinished decoration constructions. The Staff is particularly unfriendly and seems to be working only for the money. In fact we are constantly extra charges for little services, like a piece of paper to print out something in the business center. We were twice charged for mini bar expenses, and instead of making a new invoice they simple went to the room and "sold" us the billed items....
Great breakfast; dedicated, fantastic staff; cable internet in the room free of charge, wifi in lobby and restaurant; hotel located approx 5 minutes from the downtown; quite place; modern design. There was something wrong with a shower cabin because after leaving it, the whole floor was flooded.
Very good location in the city center, close to two shopping malls breakfast buffet has a poor selection, and if arriving at 9:30 few items are left ( eggs/omlete) was missing both days
Friendly, efficient, comfortable. Expected some more TV channels - some sport and Discovery/Animal Planet/National Geographic
The room was extra roomy with separate room for sleeping and tv watching. The toilet was separate from the bath. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the personnel were helpful. I think the parking is far from the entrance and you have to pay for it separately.
The thermal baths and good breakfasts. The quiet surroundings and nature trails. I would suggest the hotel to practice more reallistik prices. It is a bit expensive for what it offers to clients.
We enjoyed the quiet surroundings and nature trails, as well as the breakfast offerings and bar service. The room carpet was noticeably crusted with dirt and stains, the room needed to be aired out and the terrace needed to be upgraded or at least dusted.
relaxed place wuth thermal vath and peacefullnes i know tat a friend of mine got a deal with medical eamination and treatments
Relaxing in the Thermal Baths, walking in the surrounding woods and the spaciousness of the hotel.
The hotel is located on a quite location in a nice park. Extensive spa with several different thermal baths. The hotel and especially spa are simply ugly: think western 1970's design combined with communist attention to detail. Still, in some way this had it's charm. The staff seem not to care about your well being but about you following the rules. Most signs are in Hungarian only making it difficult to find your way around.
Excellent location, the staff was kind, great for short family vacations.
I like the environments very much , the mediteranean pools (ok) , the masage Yes , i d'ont like the wellenss and spa , its old and very "comunists", and this is a welness hotel .
It was nice staying there with spa and thermal bathes right besides the hotel rooms. It was a bit far from the city center so I would recommend this hotel for those who simply wishes to enjoy the termal bathes. We were able to relax and enjoy the termal bathes very much. In our package, the dinner was also included. The pool with sliding etc is not included in the price of accomodation. The hotel and facilities are big and complicated without many signes which made very difficult to find the way. The termal bathes facility looked bit old. I wanted to have pedicure and checked the store with opening hour but it was never open for 2 days even though the opening hour said it is open during those days.
Acces to all pools cost 2100/ person/day. It's a very expensive hotel if pay 125 EUR-room, 8 Eur- parking, 2 eur city tax and 20 eur -acces to Aquaticum. Total 155eur/day for 2 person.
Free car parking in the hotel, good location. Several minutes drive from Hajduszoboszlo.
Owner friendly and as helpful as he could be but spoke very little English. Rooms very basic and could do with a refurb but good value for money.Could purchase simple continental breakfast for 4 Euros if wished.
The location was nice, is it was just walking distance to the biggest church in town (one of the main attractions) and also close to where all the nightlife is at. The breakfast was simple yet quite nutritious. Staff were polite and helpful with any information they could provide. No room service at all. The hotel cleans the rooms every other day, but they do provide clean towels everyday. No minibar and no shampoo or shower gel in the toilets.
Good value for money, friendly staff. Room was not cleaned during stay, though only stayed 2 nights.
Quick check in, check out. Very near to city centre, safe parking inside. Good breakfast, Very clean room and bathroom. Reasonable price. Kedvezo aron tiszta, kozponti fekvesu panzio. Nothing.
Excellent service, friendly staff, secure parking, central location The towels where not changed for the whole of our stay, carpets and mattresses in rooms need re-newing, tea/coffee facilities in rooms would be nice although the manager had no problem with us using the kettle in the kitchen for tea/coffe etc
I liked that the hotel is located in the central part of town. Very spacious, clean rooms. Everywhere there are flowers. The hotel meets its category. Понравилось то, что отель находится в центральной части города. Очень просторные, чистые номера. Везде стоят цветы. Отель соотвествует своей категории. Impression of the hotel spoiled mice that ran at night somewhere on the top and chewed styrofoam. Впечатление об отеле испортили мыши, которые ночью бегали где-то на верху и грызли пенопласт.
Private parking, 24 hours reception, good location in the city center, polite and helpfull staff, good heating. the walls between the rooms are a little bit thin. Did not take credit cards.
The extreme helpfulness of the staff & the hotel's close proximity to the dog show at which I was an exhibitor.. The fact that the hotel was ok about accepting dogs. The closed private parking at rear of hotel. The lack of curtains to block out light in room; hideous noise from stadium next door on Saturday afternoon!
Very nice hotel, good staff and well organized. May be too close to the stadium, but very convinient for young people.
We got an apartment with 2 rooms and a kitchen, plenty of space, a bedroom with queen bed and a living with sofas and TV. The kitchen fully equiped but without food or drinks. Girls at the desk very pleasing, some of them didn't speak english. Suggestions: to fill the fridge wit foods and drinks, and to desodorize it, because it had an intense smell. To reorganize bathrooms, because it was separate, one with WC and no washing facilities and one with shower and washing, no WC.
Poorly designed rooms, with no carpet on the floor. Poorly equipped bathroom and low quallity breakfast which is too expensive. Guests who may be loud during the night can also stay in the hotel and noone keeps them in silence. It's probabaly one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at.
