Cleanliness and good service
The hotel staff advised us to book thru booking.com as we would get a better deal. Also once we had booked they upgraded us to a club room which had a bed big enough for at least 4 adults!!! Although the included breakfast had a wide choice, the cooked food was not the best I have ever had.
Shuttle service to golf courses and the golf desk person at the hotel very helpful No sky news or sports in the bedrooms, Very dissapointed with just having bbc and cnn news only.
breakfast excellent. location excellent no tea making facilities in bedroom. tv stations very limited
the room was nice and large, big comfy bed. breakfast was always the same and a bit dull. plumbing was leaky. booking made via booking.com did not work and the staff were notvery helpful about this.
As you would expect. The towels in the room were poor. During our stay there were some groups especially around the pool area who wer badly behaved and the language they used was disgraceful. I understand that this is a difficult situation for the hotel but I feel that someone should have at least tried to deal with this group on behalf of the other guests. Because of this I would find it difficult to return to the hotel
Location and price were good and staff very obliging and pleasant. It is little bit dated and really only 3 star at best.
Location, spa, breakfast In a 5 star hotel room, I wuold expect iron and kettle
Willingly upgraded our room from twin to double at no extra charge. Great restaurant. Fantastic buffet breakfast. Beautiful relaxing surroundings. Close to the marina for pleasant after dinner stroll. Noisy guests returning to their room in early hours of the morning.
To find the hotel is an experience. It take us more than an hour. - The parking spaces are very, very small.
The Staff were excellent and the apartment we had was more than we needed and a great price
This is a new modern hotel very pretty and very comfortable.Excellent breakfasts. However the rooms which are very comfortable and modern were not serviced properly and the beds had an awful smell, later we were told that it was from tyhe feathers used in the bedding. Not enough towels, floor mats or even soap. the housekeeping.
The tranquility of the place, huge rooms, very good service.
+ nice design + minibus to marina - quite expensive - far from beach
The hotel and apartments were beautiful. Even though the. Complex was a 5 minute drive from the marina a complimentary bus was provided and if the times were not convenient a taxi was only 7 euros. The apartments were well equipped and the furnishings a very high standard.. The restaurant in the hotel was very expensive and a limited menu. They were catering for the golfers not the familys.
very nice and new....luxury.... very noisy appartments....due to the floors...when neighbours walking or moving chairs....you hear it all very clear...too clear.
Hte restaurant Staff
The Residences at Victoria appartments were immaculate and had all the facilities required and more, they were extremely comfortable and serviced each day to a very high standard. We used the pool at Tivoli Victoria and beach facilities at Tivoli Marina hotel which were both fantastic. The breakfasts were fantastic and the food in the gourmet resteraunt at the Tivoli hotel was lush. A lovely hotel vith very accomodating and helpfull staff.
the first class facilities and wonderful staff no
super location, very friendly staff, most enjoyable.
easy reach of beach shops and surrounding areas tv program choice
enjoyed stay and having own apt and size of same layout of foyer area, found it sparse and seating very like an office area.would prefer more comfortable surroundings and seating.
very friendly staff and comfortable room can be very noisy outside at night through to the early hours of the morning
The proximity to the beach and the shopping area is very convienient. The climate was perfect. We would have like to have dined occasionally in the hotel but this was not available. We were there is October and the restaurant was not open.
I booked a single room and got a large very nice balcony pool view Breakfast was poor
big room, nice view the decoration seems basic
A very relaxed enviornment and tranquil, peaceful neighborhood with little external noise.
Don Pedro is 100 mts from the beach and the same to the bars and restauraunts of the harbour area. The 1 bed apartment is quite spacious and has a large balcony.
Location is fab central for Marina and local pubs and the beach. Not that i didnt like it but felt it abit strange having to go to the Dom Pedron Golf hotel for our breakfast each morning?? This was good in a way as we'll hoprefully look to stay there next time we go to Faro!!
Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Room very comfortable and room service very much on the ball. Public areas a bit odd - lacking warmth and character, but made up for by the room.
excellent service, clean, relaxing and comfortable
chic graet servive
everything breakfast fantastic and spa so proffesional cant wait to return but i work on a budget so will only be able to go when rates are good
Very relaxing, with everything we needed within the hotel grounds.
the location, the staff, the room, the facilities all superb.
This is an excellent resort that I would recommend to others. The staff in particular was first rate.
500m waking to the beach. 500m waking to the center...the best hotel in portugal...
The hotel was modern, well designed and has superb rooms, beds, swimming pools, gardens, spa and location. The staff are generally well trained (with 2 exceptions!) polite, motivated and efficient. The breakfast was excellent and our entire stay was very enjoyable and one of our best ever experiences. The gym was a bit weak in comparison to the rest of the hotel and could have had better weights and better air conditioning
If you have kids and want to stay on an hotel that has everything for you and your kids, this is the one. Amazing pools (one with sand), garden to walk and relax and a great place for our kids to play. One thing that i do not like, in this hotel and the other 5 stars hotels, is when we get to the pools, all the sunbeds are with towels and we do not have none where we can lay down and rest. The hotel should have a person to check the sunbeds that have towels but the persons went to their room to relax and remove them so other guests could relax by the pool.
Swimming pool is very convenient. Space of the rooms was excellent. The cleanliness was poor and the cleaning service also poor. Some details of "cheapness" as for example the fact that there was no soap in the toilet. The little convenience store was more than poor with no selection of products whatsoever. Decoration could be improved. There is a disco very close to the hotel and the noise level was such that we had to close the windows to sleep.
Spacious apt. Quite area. Good views. Easy access. Suggested access - If coming from Faro direction, don't access through main road into Villamoura but rather access through next road marked 'Albufeira'. When you come to a BP petrol station turn into road marked 'Quarteira' and the hotel is just 100 metres away.
A very nice hotel for a low price. Great to spend holidays with children. The cleaning could be better and the room should be redecorated. Didn't understand why it is necessary to go to the reception to ask a hair-dryer. The check-in only at 16.00. Had to wait 2 hours for it.
quiet place, near VilaMoura, Very old furniture, bad mattress, 16h check in is very annoying
The swimming pool was lovely and a good size, with friendly bar staff and very convenient from the room we were allocated. the room was clean and the air conditioning a bonus. The room needed a coat of paint, and they seemed suprised that we wanted to eat a meal there! I had expected to be able to play golf within walking distance of the hotel - you need a car to stay here really . A lot of facilities are advertised but are not on site. I had thought we might use a bus but there were no timetables for the bus which was a bit inconvenient.
nice rooms and lovely pool.
Pool Bar and swimming pool Rooms are very shabby, badly overdue a refurbishment
It Is a Small resort and The swimming pool Is never crowded. The staff Is friendly and helpful. More staff proactivity would be very much appreciated. Our apartment (n.4) Is near a local disco and The Music may bother at night. The apartment need maintenance; we had to tell what needed to be fixed upon our arrival.
The staff were particularly friendly a little far out
The location is great even though its far from shops and beaches.Room is nice, very english style.Swimming pool is situated beautifully, the whole territory is clean and green. The staff is very unfriendly, poor english.Cleaning was careless. No additional soap and shampoo is strange for 4 star.Luck of facilities-no possibility to get proper food.Tennis court without lights while the dark time is best to play, when its not so hot.
location, service mini bars have been removed since I was last there. they have a silly little idea of charging for the safe locks. they would be better charging the price they actually want for the room.
Value for money and beside the beach
We received a free upgrade to a senior suite as they could not accommodate request for adjacent rooms. The suite was perfect, on the top floor with a large balcony offering fantastic views over the marina. Very clean, very good standard of housekeeping. The food offered at breakfast could have been more varied and the hot food could have been hotter. I would have expected some made to order breakfast items Eg omelettes, fresh fried eggs, pancakes etc. in a 4star hotel. Bar / foyer area could be better furbished and the indoor pool area is poor.
Third year in succession, staff & location excellent, friendly and relaxing.
Clean, comfortable & fairly priced Treadmill in Gym not working - Sauna also not working
Location, pool area, steam room. Whilst adequate and reasonable value at the reduced price, the room was not to the stated standard and not worth the full, high season price.
Liked the vicinity
good location close to marina , beach and good access to golf. poor sunshine around pool deck / noisy on a couple of nights late ie 3/4pm
Good value for money and the location close to the marina was great. The room was excellent and we had all of the facilities that we needed Nothing comes to mind
the hotel is too old an is not a four star grade
location and accesibility no information in rooms about hotel or town, couldnt get room serivce
Luxurious apartment in quiet location. Fantastic spa / facilities. Welcoming extremely friendly and helpful staff Nothing to criticise.
Lovely surroundings, great weather, near golf courses. Nice rooms. Excellent breakfast. Would need a car as a outside villamoura . Problems a couple of mornings at breakfast in having to wait to be seated. No bowls or plates left for cereals. Other mornings no cereals. Also only one restaurant open in evenings with mostly buffet service.
Excellent hotel and facilities, very well furnished flat with everything anyone could want. We will be returning to this hotel.
Superb weather in October, south facing very private well equipped apartment, great location - not in the town but close enough. Barking dogs from house overlooked. Not incessant but enough to get on your nerves at times.
Excellent resort; our 3 bedroom appartment was equipped to a high standard; one bedroom with a king-size bed .. the other 2 rooms had 2 twin beds put together ,, so can easily sleep 3 couples. Breakfast was fresh and good selection. General manager allowed us to check out late which meant our last day felt like another full day of vacation. There's a very nice 1-star restaurant called Willie's next door ... Would recommend to all (if you're willing to pay 15-20 for starter and 30 euro for main)! if you want to be close to the beach .. this hotel doesn't offer shuttle service off-season. Wasn't a problem to us at all (we had a car) .. but just be prepared for a nice walk .. because of the 'winter' season some bars weren't open .. again didn't feel it presented a problem as remaining offer was more than enough ...
Appartment fantastic, immaculately clean.bit out the way but a minibus always available to take you to the beach or marina.to quiet for our kids who are 16 an 19 but fab for me.great location for all golf courses,so the hubby says.would defo go back. We tried to check in at the front reception of the hilton hotel because that is were I thought id booked and you can use all these facilities, its all the same complex.but the man on reception treated us like the poor people and sent us round the back to another reception, which was like the tradesman ent.there was no need to talk down to us its the same hotel and without us he wouldn't have a job.
The apartment was lovely, well decorated and modern. The hotel had a great atmosphere and the staff were very pleasant, especially Marco and the restaurant staff.
The apartments are fantastic. We didn't travel with our children but will definately stay again and will take them. It's a shame that the Hotel does not offer room service to the apartments and it was dissapointing to arrive to a totally empty fridge. The first thing you have to do when you arrive is find the local super market and stock up, I had been told that a welcome pack would be there on our arrival..
the apartment was well laid out and very spacious distance from main centre - marina
Rooms had the wow factor, unusual but lovely bathroom area, glass wall shower different than anywere we stayed before.staff were very helpful and polite.pool area was lovely and very large pool. did not like the card system to get your towels for the pool.there are easier and more simple ways,if pool was busy it would be a bit confusing.they seemed to do a lot of maintance work to a new hotel.sections were closed off for the duration of our stay[indoor pool]etc.we booked this hotel for a number of reasons and the indoor pool was one because of the time of year we were going [nov]with it being a new hotel i persume these were teething problems but we would return again
location when trying to leave no once would open the gate. staff were chatting
Comfort of room and privacy when out on balcony, quietness at night and very pleasant staff. Indoor pool and spa were closed for half of our stay to carry out maintenance work.
the hotel its self and room maintaince work around pool and spa closed for 1 day
very relaxing value for money will recommend to friends nothing
Access to the Beach, good restaurants, Breakfast buffet not 5 *****
Perfect location, excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Great food if a little pricey.
Nice and big territory!!!! Wonderful beach!!!
Great location - helpful people Poor and expensive internet access - no wifi . Ocean view was really only ocean glimpse when on the balcony - very disappointing
saying 'goodbye' the stairwells were covered in pigeons excrement for the whole 2wks we stayed - it's a health hazard and despite seeing cleaners everywhere I never once saw the feathery pooh disappear
The space around the hotel provides a relaxed environment and its cliff top location gives great views out to sea.Overall it has a nice ambiance. The on-site restaurants are expensive and although the food is good it lacks originality.
Excellent hotel! Yard was nice! Swimhats... :)
Wonderful location and relaxed attitude. The cornflakes and bacon - very cheap and not good enough!
Good facilities, helpful staff Pools too crowded at times, restaurants are fairly good but prices exorbitant.
comfortable and well appointed and managed location - too islolated
Beautiful - absolute luxury. Very expensive food and drink
The staff are fantastic and make you feel special. The location is beatuiful and the gardens are maintained very well. The accomodation is ideal for a family. This is our 3rd visit to Pine Cliffs and we will be back again.
The resort was beautiful, lots of birds, flowers, grassy areas. The facilities were very good and they were well set up to cater for children. Porto Pirata, the indoor pool and the beach provided lots of entertainment for little ones and there was the option to pay to have your children cared for by a wonderful team of girls in Porto Pirata if you so wished (see negatives in terms of expense!) Our two bed residence was large, clean and extremely comfortable - the actuality exceeding the pictures shown on websites (not a frequent occurance in my experience). Staff were very friendly and helpful. There are lots of activities organised every day. Lovely Italian restaurant. Resort was so well tended - it was a wonderful holiday Childcare in porto pirata was excellent but expensive, especially if your children were under three years of age. Food was good but expensive comparatively speaking with nice restaurants outside the resort. We were there in quiet season so many of the restaurants in the hotel were not open. If you book a residence by prepared for a good walk to breakfast, it may be only in the quiet season but we had to walk nearly a kilometre (albeit along a pretty path) to the hotel for breakfast each morning. In high season there is a train that takes you but in low season be prepared for leg work - I lost about four pounds in nine days!
Lovely gardens and proximity to beach Too remote from bars/restaurants
Fantastic pool, allbeit a little chilly! Great facilities for children, and good value for money.
seclusion.away from hustle and bustle,of city life, yet only a bus/free shuttle away? bedding arrangements?/ 2 singles joined together 2 make a double not very good for your back...>
very close to very good beach, good swimming pool, good outdoor bar for hot drinks / cold. very clean well run hotel, good food etc. could do with shuttle bus service to other main towns, taxis expensive.
My partner and I loved the unspoiled views from the balcony. The hotel had private acces to one of the most beautiful untouched beaches I have seen. As the hotel was in such a remote place, it would have been better if there had been a tasteful entertainment programme. A shuttle bus to surrounding areas would be good. There is virtually no public transport, so unless you hire a car or pay for taxis- which are very expensive- you are very isolated.
Good location for short break, not too busy, convienient for all facilities Staff could have smiled a little more. Reason for holiday was a late surprise for my wife's 60th birthday, and recovery from a slight illness. Although booked and confirmed 6 nights on the fifth day my wife tried to access the room late on friday afternoon only to be told by reception that we had only booked 5 and that we had to vacate the room or pay to stay another night. My wife felt very distr
Close to the sea, countryside No windsurfing center close to the hotel
Its stunning to look at, food was superb Staff were very slow to get anything done, whenever you approached the reception desk even though there were 3 people behind it with no-one to serve you still had to wait up to 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge you let alone help you - Infuriating!!
Relaxing by the fantastic swimming pool Would have been nice to have more of the local food on the menu ie piri piri chicken.
That place is wonderfull. The hotel and outdoor area are clean and look beautifull. Peoples there are so friendly (this is my opinion) and always ready to help you if is possible. There was one thing what can be improved. In during the dinner you have to buy water if you want to drink it. I think this litlle thing should be part of the dinner. Why you can have for breakfast tea, juice, milk, cofe and water and for dinner nothing to dring?
the fact that was very close to the beach.... the fact that is impossible to go around the area unless u book a cab...
It was quiet but good quality - no having to fight for your poolside beds - what a relief in August
Cheap, cheerful, good food & clean; ideal for budget business trip
convenience to golf cources menu could have ben better selection
Second visit, had a very nice room. Helpful and friendly reception staff. Budget priced hotel which is very clean and well presented very well located for golf facilities. Probably not especially suitable for small children. Attractive pool area (too cold to use in October!) surrounded by grass. Plenty of parking. Located in a suburb so you benefit from having a car if staying there although I was told by another guest there is a bus to the shops. Will definitely stay there again. Good time of year to visit Vilamoura, cooler and less crowded. Nothing to dislike really especially at the price paid.
It is a very nice environment particularly late in the year. The surroundings are nice, the location is good and the accessibilty is too. Unfortunately we were put into a room that was for invalids, was right next to the main walkthrough and stairs, which proved to be irritating/noisy late at night and early in the morning. This was particularly noteable as the last time we stayed we were at the rear of the studio apartments which whilst there were no views of the pool gave good views of the local area and was extremely quiet. So it was just unfortunate.
The price but even that is questionable. The room, the parking, the service was not great.
Tranquility during August & friendly quiet nature of Do Golfe
good breakfast, helpful staff, lovely pool, hotel bus to beach and marina if anything ,a bus service not running to the marina in the evening
a clean, beautiful, cosy hotel, convenient parking the apartment was too cold in March
Went to Vilamoura to attend a congress at the Hilton. This was very good for the price. The staff were very nice and the room was clean, with a view to the garden wich was very pleasent. The only turnoff is the fact that the studio is big and so the AC is not the most confortable for heating.
The hotel is clean and vell looked after, the apartments are clean and with nice furniture. The swimmingpool was too cold.
It is a good, well managed hotel with excellent facilities, particularly for self catering..The hotel is situated about 1mile (1.5kms) from beautiful Algarve beaches and the nearest big town, Oura. Free hotel transport and taxis' at modest cost are availablealong with the local bus service. Plenty of parking for those with cars.
Really good place to stay if you do not want to be based in the center of Albufeira. Staff is helpful and the rooms are modern and clean. There are enough enjoyable facilities in the hotel which one can use (outside/inside/children pools, gym, sauna, tennis courts, minigolf...) Not that this is a major thing but some facilities could be available longer throughout a day (some of them close already at 5/7 PM) and access to the gym could be less expensive.
I liked the room the swimming pool,I appreciated the shutle service to the center of Albufeira
Furnishing, space fittings Nowhere sufficiently well lit to read a book
The quality of the Hotel for the price you pay is amazing. Very modern and well equipped apartments. Was very satisfied. Not close to the beach but exactly what I was looking for, because I had a car, they also have shuttle buses. The pool area was great. The only negative comment is the mattress was too hard, and the pillows were terrible. They could invest in new pillows.
Indoor pool closed, the mini market doesn't accept credit card and the hotel isn't close to a cash machine facility
Large Swimming Pool & Childrens pool ideal for the younger children. Rooms were an excellent size, with separate areas and a very large bathroom. The courtesy coach provided to the main resort was much needed and therefore we used this on many occasions as there are limited facilities outside of the hotel. The hotel mentions that it has a policy for 'no reserving of sun loungers', however this was not the case on 9 of the days we stayed - people were up early to put their towels on beds. Only on the last day of our 10 days did we see one of the hotel staff remove most of the towel which were left out all morning. Eating and drinking at the pool bar was very expensive during the day.
stayed before nice accomodation for family. not allowed to use outdoor pool in winter.
the only thing i found lacking is the beauty salon,,,mostly because i found the beautician to be very rude and unaccommodating..but other than that i only had a good experience. it was our 2nd visit & i came away thinking the same thing last time.
The building was clean, well decorated and quiet. The pool area was excellent and in a good sunny location. The only negative thing I would say is that the furniture in our apartment was dated and the bed was uncomfortable. It would be helpful if the kitchen has more electric plugs and an oven. (Apartment 219)
i liked the location also how the staff had left the keys for us at the restuarant as our flight was a late one and we came about midnight. i didnt like how the reception staff did not deal with requests.for example when i requested for the room to be cleaned and for the sheets to be changed.she has assured me this would be complete but never was by the time we return from our day out.
had a good time beds could have been better
easy to find ,good location to travel about the region
I loved the pool , the water temperature was always ideal ! The bar was quite late closing and as we had a pool side room , sometimes the noise levels disturbed my wife!!
It is clean and in a central location for our needs.Has restaurants in walking distance.Nice and quite. The location of the electrical outlets were not in a good location to use the kettle and toaster. It would of been more comfortable with another fan in the Apartment. Some updating of some equipment is neeeded.
Th proximity to beaches and the Marina. The lack of coordination between the hotel and the restaurant, which seems to be a completely different company. The breakfast offer here is also poor, not worth the €4.5, and only available late in the morning.
Meget bra beliggenhet og god frokost. Hotellet ligger nær strand, restauranter og butikker.
Veldig fint hotell som lå rett ved stranden. God frokost, fint bassengområde og veldig serviceinnstilte ansatte. Hotellet ligger like i nærheten av The Strip, men et stykke unna Old Town.
Fantastisk design på siuten
