Size and style of accommodation. Restaurant food, good selection. Location to beach Fitness room equipment not serviced and most machines mot working. We pointed this out to the management 2 days after arriving but nothing was done about it even after a second mention. We were told it is a 'free' facility but we count it as part of the price .Pool area small for size of hotel. Spa area alway full,. Too many crying children at dinner time 9.30 eve! Bar is like an airport cafe
The hotel was maintained in a very clean condition, especially the rooms. The food was anything but Gourmet!
staff made my family very welcome and couldnt do enough for us. excellent in all aspects. no - excellent.
free spa treatment with booking, great golf & facilities basically liked it all.
The room had a great view of the 18th green, across the golf course and down to the sea. The room was a good size, the hotel had good facilities and it was an extremely relaxing stay. The golf course was in excellent condition The dining room had a dress restriction which we did not know about. However, we saw someone going in dressed in scruffy jeans. Surely in the summer months a nice pair of tailored shorts is far dressier than scruffy jeans. The hotels loss was "Fairways" gain. Across the road in the commercial centre a good restaurant with great food for a good price. Also the pool area needs more sunbeds and/or chairs. At times there was nowhere for people to put their towels and bags in order to go for a swim so this needs attention. This results in people putting towels in the morning and not returning until later in the afternoon.
they could clean the room carpet stains a bit more
Use of Spa facilities
service & breakfast evening dinner was not as good as we had experienced it on previous visits
Located well out of nearest town, self contained golf resort. Limited food options in Hotel. Dinner is a buffet from 7:00 to 10:15 , everything lovely at 7:00 but by 10:00 things look a bit sad. However there is a chef ready to cook meat & fish so you can get some decent hot food at 10:00. Not told that beside hotel is commercial complex with 3 restaurants open till late. Staff could be more informative
Good sized senior suite. Good breakfast bar selection. The hotel lacks character, is too large and the interior design is uninspiring. Some of the electrical fittings in the suite were poorly fitted and one computer point non-operational. The area around the bath tub required recaulking and thoroughly cleaning. The bath itself was stained.
General comfort, cleanliness & good value. Excellent golf desk staff. No electric trolleys for hire. The course is long and in hot weather it is not pleasant to have to pull a trolley.
The staff on arrival were a bit rude and that tainted the begining of the stay. Thought they should have been a bit happier (even if they werent!)
Staff were very helpful. Good play area for children and pool area well kept.
Hot water in the bathroom
Spacious appartment in pleasant location near the beach Difficult to find a parking place
i live on the costa del sol and its very busy, i loved the beach and the tranquil place and the apartment had everything. no
The leisure center was absolutely disgustingly dirty. The pool tiles were filthy..as were all the walls and surrounding areas. The jacuzzi was out of service. I do believe that the hygiene standards of the pool area were totally unacceptable..and I noted these comments on the hotel questionnaire I was given upon departure
Lovely resort. Very clean. Pool great. No Hot Water on last couple of days.
Excellent cottages and surrounding, very secure. Nothing special about location.
The buildings and pools look nice The room smelled. We changed to another room, it also smelled of smoke.
Very spacious appartments with every facility well appointed. Swimming pools were not very inviting, and there seemed to be no other facilites? No welcome pack to explain anything about what was available...
Good food, very clean hotel/rooms , friendly staff room we stayed in had a terrible odor coming in from the drains, really overwhelming
very noisy both from traffic and hotel water tank which seemed to be above our room. Bathroom smells.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. During our stay we experienced some of the heaviest rainfall the region had seen for many years. The basement area, including the restaurant, was totally flooded to about a metre deep. The lift shafts were like water falls but the staff and the owner could not do enough to help us cope and make us comfortable. For a situation out of their control they coped very well. We did find the bed was too hard, therefore my wife and I bought two inflatable beach beds to place upon our mattress. With hindsight we could have asked for another room but due to the flooding we decided to leave things as they were.
As we only stayed 1 night we didn't get chance to sample many of your hotels services but what we did we very pleased with ie.room,breakfast.We would definately return should the chance occur.
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool. Mostly occupied by Spanish families which made for a pleasant atmosphere. Fresh coffee and fresh orange juice at breakfast would be a great improvement. Very high deposits required per towel at the pool.
Hotel Ok The hotel beds are too hard
I have no problems with the hotel however it is isolated. To get to Mojacar was a 15 to 20 minute car journey.
The buffet breakfast was good. The beach (although it is nowhere near as close as advertised) The smell from the bathroom was disgusting - a real sewer smell - we had to buy air freshener in the local supermarket. The Hotel does not have sea views - there is a new block just been built in front of it - instead we had a room overlooking he pool which overlooks a very busy and noisy main road. The Hotel may only have been built in 2000 but it already needs a good overhaul and is definitely not up to a 4 star standard. The room was shabby and tired and the air con was poor and very noisy. Lastly - no way is it 150 metres to the beach - a good ten minute walk. Would not stay again. The area of Vera Playa has a beach which is lovely, but very little else - few restaurants etc. it is rather a "sad" resort in the evenings when it seems to be empty.
noisy generator kept us awake at night.
I loved the spacious room and friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel at home. Sean, one of the owners, is American and was the best host I have ever met. His wife speaks Spanish and was so delightful! The rest of the staff was the best ever and I adore this place. I loved everything!
Everything was excellent. Including breakfest at midday.
good service friendly staff great location the hotel has a great restaurant nearby which i would definetely recommend we are not great walkers but we saw hotel staff taking time to advice other keen walkers nothing it was great
staff and location room had only one bedside cabinet, part of ceiling coving was missing, large patch of paintwork missing in the bathroom, pool was out of use and full of gunge and poor breakfast standard for the price of room
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were excellent. Cannot be faulted
Very clean and comfortable. Friendly and very helpful staff who spoke English. Nice dining room and excellent food. Well located for beach and town. A very enjoyable stay and would use again. Sitting room window looked into a wall and no window in bedroom. Not a big problem as little time spent in room.
Intimate & relaxing.Loved all the different types of art work that adorn the walls. Lovely small but cosy garden. The warm and welcoming staff made us feel that nothing was too much trouble & that they were actually pleased to see us. Unlike many other larger hotels.Lovely views of the sea from the roof solarium.Dinner in the hotel was very good, and as we were there on a Thursday it was musically accompanied, by Richard the Jazz guitarist. No bath, and the shower is a little dated. However the rest of the suite is very nice. Also breakfast was not buffet as stated, but it was served in the lovely garden and at whatever time we chose, up to 12 noon.So this more than made up for it.
The hotel was family run, by a lovely couple. It was very private. They created a very friendly and loving atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the had a very good wine list. Anything we asked for we got, with a smile. The rooms were spacious and clean. I would have no hesitation in staying again or recommending it to friends.
The friendliness of the staff, nothing was too much trouble. It has an excellent restaurant. I think the shower unit in the bathroom needs updating - there was only a shower curtain around the shower base and no slip mat. There was no heating in the breakfast room and it was cold in the mornings.
The food was wonderful Breakfast was a bit ordinary. The resturant was quite chilly in the evening in November
The accommodation was a spacious a bedroom/ en-suite and a comfortable lounge with air conditioning in both. The dinner and the wine was delicious and the service first class. They also don't have rules for breakfast times, they will make whatever you want when you want. I would recommend it highly.
