Excellent location surounded by pine trees and just a few steps from the sea. Good and very various food. Piano music during the dinner. A bit noisy in the night because there is an open air disco close to the beach with music till 4 or 5 in the morning and you have to sleep with closed balcony doors (rooms with sea view). On the beach there were not enough umbrellas.
Quiet location, pine forest setting, red squirrels all around, fun train service to Umag, excellent breakfasts, nice public areas. Ground floor room seemed dark and dingy.
Spa relaxation except the fact that the prices are quite high I missed diversity of international food (Asia, Japan, etc)
I really enjoyed staying at Melia Coral, all facilities were perfect, the surroundings were beautiful as well, there was kind and prudent stuff. I would like to thank piano' player, prof. Davor Kovacevic, his repertoire included music of Michel Legrand, it was great! I recoment to stay at this hotel. Anna Bespalova, Moscow, Russia
Nicely designed rooms, swimming pools and wellness center. Very pleasant and relaxing. No lockers and dressing rooms in the wellness area. Too much staff around which does not seem to be entirely necessary.
Excellent Spa, beautiful food. Limited loungers, and being "held" with towels from 6.30am although pool wasn't open until later. Room small for family & not enough storage space
hotel design and location dining room chaos, odour on some parts of hotel corridors
In hotel they heve ygood welness, nice personal. To small rooms
Food, environment, see view beach, sea, pool
Fantastic choice of food, we took half-board and dont regret it, loved everything. Very nice waiters, very clean. It can be quite noisy from the sea side, but we took a park side room and dont regret it!
wellness area tempwrature in the room .... cold
Food (variety and quality) was surprisingly good. Live musuc in the evening is a bit too loud and a bit to long for a family type of hotel.
Location, peaceful surrounding. Food (fresh orange juice is MUST in 4*).
Excellent food, nice garden, swimming pool, tennis court. Beach is also nice. Everything was excellent.
The hotel is good value for money in Croatia. I did not like the food - however there are many good restaurants in close proximity to the hotel.
I wanted additional (the 6th day) and they wanted 92 E and not the original 76 E. In the end, the hotel was empty and they gave it, but that it is not how it should happen. I asked for the birthday of my son, a surprise; fruits or something like it. They offered flowers and put 3 roses and asked 15 E for that, which I refused to pay.
too big / impersonnel
The spa area and the received treatment by Francesca - outstanding! unfriendly, unmotivated staff gossiping amongst other colleagues and guests
Nice place, many trees, relatively quiet. Clean, near the beach, MANY possibilities for sports/entertainment etc. 2-3 playgrounds, tennis courts, bowling, train to Umag... Older bungalows, basic equipment, generaly "old fashioned" place
The closeness to to the port of umag and all the fun things to do
facilities are ok but a bit dated I think the rooms are not very clean, and the furniture in the room is very old and needs complete refurb
It is ok for people group, not for family
Relatively quiet, lots of trees, not far from see. Apartment and furniture are very old and need modernization. Beds are old and easy to break. There was extremely cold during the night – no heating in room(we were there one night about 20 September). I would not recommend it to anyone. Our bungalow and room was nothing in common with the pictures on the web side
IF YOU ARE FROM AMERICA THIS SO CALLED RESORT IS MOOR LIKE A BIG CAMP GROUND WITH CABINS, IT IS NOT A RESORT. THIS PLACE IS NOT APARTMENTS IN ANY SINCE OF THE AMERICAN TERM. THEY ARE CABINS.
it was a nice location no
we expended only one night the location and the view were beautiful the room facilities are really poor
very good price for the large room there was no air conditioning or heating
- nice resort, not to far from Umag city - a lot of fast foods was closed, - pool with slides was first 4-5 days also closed, !!!!!! inside sol polynesia resort was constructions and conversions around hotels !!!!!!
it is a very well organised accomodation complex, with lots of services, in a fascinating environment; staff very flexible and helpful
Position of the complex. The rooms were on really bad condition, stinking toilet, bad was also not working proparly. We ordered a 4 persons apartment for 2 pairs and actually get apartment with one regular bedroom and small second room. Then the 2nd pairs must slept in the living room.
only location facility was poor, humidity was everywhere and mould was appearing and smelling
I liked the surroundings. The staff were poor. Not very wiling to put themselves out. The cafes and restaurants were not always open. One day only two of the six were open. The supermarket was very pooly stocked and expensive. I had a car so went into town to the larger supermarkets. No real complaint as you get what you pay for, Luxury it was not
It was nice having a kitchen and dining area within the room. The best part about this hotel/resort area is the pools and grocery store on site. For campers, this site is excellent. The best rooms on site are the bungalows. In the apartment rooms, the walls are incredibly thin! During our stay it was incredibly noisy all night long. The beds were not very comfortable and some of the main restaurants on site are average at best.
Nice location, with clean sea and nature. Brilliant diving center subaquatic. The 3-4 person room was way to small and not really suitable for 3-4 people. We upgraded to a 4-5 person room, which not only changed the room size but also the quality. Overall the resort has a slight run-down feeling, nothing obvious, but its the little things that add up.
Normaly The room was dark.
Accommodation only 10 meters from the sea, nice environment. Clean and quiet. Double bed was not equipped with double-size mattress, but with two single-size mattresses, and it was not very comfortable.
I made a booking error on this one and should have stayed in the Villas part of the complex and not the Butlins camp I ended up with. I've been on prettier council estates. Once inside the self-contained appartment, all was good apart from a rock-hard bed so sleep was limited, but having swam in the sea to unwind i felt much better. Room facilities were good and more than made up for the views outside. Resort facilities were of an OK standard for adults, but excellent for kids to enjoy. Dirty looking apartment block, rock solid beds and being charged for sun loungers
1)Close to the atp stadion.Croatia studena open.2)When i selected hotel i have only 2 options(others hotels was busy) 1)Tennis courts not property of the hotel, just one free court to hotel.2)some stranges with service misses.(not was drink to the late dinner, staff at reception can't beat this problem.)
With a small train ride to Umag This time the tables serving drinks was not included, the staff was not as friendly as before 14 days. Also, because of rain, there was no self service by the pool.
the food excelent, evenings with the live music as well. very nice and clear see. animations for children very good. the hotel staff could be more comunicative and smooth
Quite nice hotel with good atmosphere
Room overlooked the pool and the sea. Easy to find hotel. Great value for money. Only one or two places to go and eat/drink/dance nearby on foot. Hotel did not have any entertainment except a two piece band who played the same set every night which was geared towards the much older customers.
location, service, food
