The room and Hotel was very clean. The staff was excellent. Valet remembered us and was very personable every time we saw him. I can't remember the name of the front desk clerk when we checked in, he was very professional and helpful. This was our first time in the Tampa area and after our stay at the Hyatt we are ready to go back. The bed was very comfortable I never wanted to get out. I only have one complaint. Right after we checked into the room. Maintinence arrived at the request of the maid to fix the toilet paper roll in the wall. She had just walked in without knocking. After she saw us in the room she explained and did not know that we had checked in at the time.
The staff was very nice. The room was very modern. I didn't expect such a great experience. don't get me wrong I expected it to be fine but it exceeded just fine only drawback was that our lightbulb in the front hallway of our room was dead but everything else was perfect and even though we brought in Christmas away from home we still felt comfortable bringing it in there. I definitely look forward to staying there again on our next visit.
Everything was clean, room service was speedy, all in all a pretty enjoyable stay The pillows aren't that comfortable for my neck. I feel as if they were just puffs of air that didn't provide much neck support.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was pretty and the boardwalks were scenic. Our shower fixture was broken but still usable. I let the staff know when we checked out about the issue.
Great time for the New Years Celebration. Hotel was clean, room had a great view, and the people were very helpful. I would def come back and stay here again.
I liked the waterfront view. It was a nice view on the 6th flor and look out over the bay especially at night view. The size of beds were too small and the placement of the lights in the room didn't allow proper lighting. They were too bright over the bed. The rugs needed cleaning.

Location Even though when I booked the room I clearly stated 4 adults, when we checked in, they gave us a room with only one king size bed. When I complained, they said "sorry, we are all sold out, you should have specified you wanted 2 beds when you made the reservation". When I asked for 2 roll away beds, they said we could only have one due to fire code restrictions. Staff never really tried to help me - more of a tough luck attitude!
Located right in the lobby of the airport. You arrive from your gate to the hotel lobby in 10 minutes. Staff incredibly helpful. Hats off to Nadine for helping us plan activities during our day off, and to Cheryl and Luz in the Concierge Lounge for making us feel so welcome and having treats for us. The restaurant and room service offerings were delicious. I have been to this hotel a few times, and am never disappointed and will come back again. Wish the hotel had a designated Concierge to help us make plans in the vicinity. Hated to bother the front desk staff while other guests were waiting to check in and out, but had no choice.
My room 431 is located above the kitchen and I could strongly smell hamburger grease.
Great location since I was taking a flight early the next morning. Spent 20 minutes trying to find my reservation. Also, they charged me for parking, even though I didn't have a car. Had to have that charge removed from my bill as I was hurrying to make a flight.
Wouldn't allow me to cancel my stay even though they were contacted 3 weeks before hand.
