Flott beliggenhet. Rent og pent. Vennlig og hjelpsom betjening. God mat.
Great hotell with good room size and good cleanliness Hotel staff did not manage to make the bills correct. I had to correct the bills to get them correct.
God service, hyggelig personale. Fint svømmebasseng. Gode senger. Veldig god frokost.
God frokost.
Ligger litt langt unna severdigheter.
It's convenient with metro but it's hard to transport by taxi. Staff do not have reliable and state-of-the-art informaition about tour of Rome and Vantican.
Excellent location. The room was clean and comfortable, however this is not a 4 star hotel as announced. Internet is not free. They have a desktop machine in the lobby for "free " use, however if Internet is required it is necessary to buy a password!
Cleanliness and hygiene were excellent.
Good room size and cleanliness No A/C in the hot summer, no fan. I remained awake the whole night and could not do my next day meeting properly. This was total disaster for me.
The hotel was in close proximity to a metro station which provided access to a number of key points in the city. The facility was clean and well maintained.
Silence, clean environment, correct service, situation and convenient city transport connections Obligatory presence of table (desk) suitable for PC-working; English chanels in the TV-set (CNN, BBC etc.) if it is possible.
Good value for money and location, also the rooms were very clean The view was nothing special, but I did not have any requirements
The hotel was restored, new furnitures. The room was tidy, clean. The staff was very, very friendly. The hotel is very good located, close to metro, bus station.
This Hotel whilst not luxury was perfect for our needs, it provided a base for exploring Rome and a place to sleep, considering our 7-day metro tickets were only 16euros each it catered our needs perfectly and saved us a lot more then staying in the centre of the city. However people used to a higher standard may not like the basic facilities. Therefore take the other reviews with a pinch of salt ask yourself, what you need? If like us all you want is a 'base' then Aurelius is good. If you want lots of facilities and high quality look elsewhere. However the staff were friendly to us (it may be where we at least tried to speak some Italian?) and not sure what other reviewers mean by "rude" staff. The reviews ive read here could reflect the hotel but yet again everyone sees things differently! We did have an accident getting out of our bathroom where my partner caught (and cut) her foot on a exposed jagged edge of tiling on the floor where it had either been unrepaired/ left unattended or poorly constructed. So better care with the decor of the rooms is in order!
Very well located and very good value for money. Staff are nice and rooms were clean
Everything super. I would recomende this hotel to every body!
Nice roon good condicion, cheaper and value for money. It is far way from the underground station, the breakfast is poor, there are no fruits, but for the price it's not too bad, there is just roon to improuve.
Its location to the centre of Rome was the Hotel's strong point and the helpfulness of the staff on answering local enquiries. The hotel initially offered a completely incorrect room and it took a forceful discussion with the hotel recpetionist to get the hotel to change our room to the grade which we booked. This put an initial dampener on the start of the trip, but was quickly forgotten about and the receptionist turned out to be extremely knowledgeable about transport options into the city. We were travelling with 3 children ages 2, 8 and 13 and the room we had was a little small for 5 people, but that said, this would be an excellent room for a family of three and the hotel's location made getting into and out of Rome pretty easy. The breakfast was OK.
Hotel was easy to find from the motorway and had free parking. Attractive, spacious reception/lounge area and clean and comfortable rooms. Very quiet at night, and comfortably cool thanks to air con in spite of very hot weather. City centre accessible via public transport. Helpful staff who allowed us to leave luggage in hotel and car in carpark next day while we explored the city. Bus from outside hotel goes direct to Vatican area. Good value hotel for price. Area around hotel was ok but a bit scruffy & unattractive. (Did not feel unsafe tho) a bit of a walk to bus stop into city centre - we couldn't find it at first, so took metro instead which was a horrible experience - overcrowded, hot and smelly. No problems getting bus back tho. No restaurant for evening meal so we had to eat out - advise doing this in city as not much in local area. Rooms a bit on small side with no view, but fine for a short stay.
Breakfast was very poor quality and very poor choice of food E.G meats, cheese. the shower was very dispointing always cold.and there were no coffee making Facilities
Not a 4 star hotel. But the rooms were a decent size and were very clean. Most staff were friendly and helpful and it was close to transport.
My family enjoyed the hotel a lot. Room was clean and nice. Air conditioning worked well (even when it was +35 C outside). Breakfast was good. The reception personnel (especially Giuseppe) was very friendly and helpful.
It was quiet and the air conditioning in my room was brilliant. If I got back to Rome, I'll go back to your hotel. No.
Standard 3 stjerners, stort frokostutvalg(godt over snittet), vennlig betjening.
Flott frokost. Godt renhold. Vennlig og hjelpsom betjening. Beliggende nær metro, i et greit boligstrøk. Enkel men OK standard for overnatting.
Beautiful boutique hotel very close to the Vatican in a nice neighborhood with an excellent continental breakfast, lovely room, nice bathroom, and a very friendly and helpful staff. They did not have electrical adapter connections for US appliances such as my cell phone charging station.
It was clean and spacious The train station was like a 25 minute walk so not very close.
Nice at checkin. Good food in restaurant. Good fitness center. Almost no drawers in room for clothes. 20 minute walk to metro
The procedure of accommodation was very simple, and the staff was pretty kind.Food was also pretty good. I didn't like the fact the the TV had very few channels, which just one or two working good. The fire alarm started in the middle of the night, and lasted about one hour without being any fire. This was very unpleasant.
Breakfast was good. Availability of Internet. Hotel was within close proximity to Cornelia bus and metro station. Hotel staff arrogant with non-Italian speaking guests. Staff also provide incorrect information about international calling rates and taxi fares. Room complaints (e.g. missing shower door, noisy neon light, etc) were not fixed by the hotel staff.
Good value for the money, nice staff, clean rooms. I recommend to everyone.
When I advised the desk clerk that the bathroom door stuck on the bottom and was not easily moved, he promptly had it fixed. He also very kindly lent me a socket adapter for my electric razor. Small bathroom - difficulty moving around because the door was always in the way. Advertisement said there was air conditioning, but my room did not have it. Desk clerk said my single room was one of the few not having that service.
The staff were friendly and helpful its location was not very convenient
I asked for taxi to the airport since I had to leave very early in the morning. They offered me a "private service" for 60 Euros. They told me that the price was equivalent to that of a normal taxi since it was a night service to the airport. At the airport the driver told me that I was not able to give me an invoice since he was not the owner of the cab, they borrowed him the cab. He promised me to send the invoice via mail.
the main problem was - it was kind of hard to find hotel itself. I would suggest to put more clear directions with mentioning the bus number which you have to take in order to reach it.
The hotel is situated in a very nice, green area of Roma. Although we had a room at 6th floor the view was very beautiful - we could even see, in a distance, the St. Pietro Dome. It is not very near the centre of the city (also not exhaustingly far as we feared before arriving) but the connections by bus and subway were very good. The bus station is exactly across the street and except week-end (when you have to wait longer) the bus comes every 5-10 minutes and it can take you to a subway station. The breakfast was ok: they served sliced cheese, ham and italian salami, cereals, yoghurt, milk, jam, different tipes of bread, a variety of croissants, canned stewed fruits, coffee, tea, juice. Nearby there are good, not expensive restaurants. The furniture in the room was a little damaged (a broken drawer), but this didn't affect us at all. They did some renovations in the next room one day and, in another, the elevator did not work but also because of renovations. The window frames are of wood and not very tight and if it is a cold weather it will blow a little current in the room but you can draw the big curtains.
The room is amazing and very comfortable. The breakfast is good. It should be information on the hotel's website about how to get the hotel from the airport by public transportation. I was lost and had many problems to find out the bus number, which is the 246. Thus I had to spend money to get the hotel by taxi,...
My wife and I found the hotel staff to extremely helpful. They helped us navigate our way around Rome which was huge seeing as how it was our first there. The room key had to be in a slot inside the door for the lights/power to work which was really inconvenient. The room was oddly set up (felt cold) and the bed was pretty uncomfortable.
very professional staff, very very clean!!! a real refuge at the end of the day. The distance from major sights. (too far away)
breakfast included, friendly personnel not located near subway system
Enjoyed thge stay. No
i like that the hotel is not far away from the centro. the bus takes you fast to the metro and from there you get to the centro in 15 minutes. the breakfast is so good. i loved the croisants and the bread and the ham and the cheese and the peperoni and the risotto and the fruit. am i forgetting something? yes but no more room. i did not like that i had to leave Rome nice city! the hotel is great for the money. have in consideration i pay only 350 euros. with that money the hotel is great more money i will rate it maybe a good not excellent.
Everything was very good!!!!
I like the cleanliness and the soft price of the room.
clossness to the metro line. i liked everything.
Rooms were very clean and the hotel was small enough that it was easy to get around in wish they had a shuttle service to the airport or partner with another hotel to provide this service
The hotel is located just right in Via Aurelia, so it is easy to find. Restaurants and bars are nearby. It's located near a bus station, but you have to walk up to 10-15 minutes to the nearest metro station. This hotel does not provide free internet access.
The room was very confortable and extremely clean. The double room was two single beds pushed together.
The staff are very friendly. The price was very reasonable but I guess you get what you pay for. Shower worked just fine. Not very close to the Center of Rome, about a 15 minute ride using the metro or a taxi. A taxi will cost you $15 US Dollars one way to main tourist attractions. The room was very hot and the AC did not work very well. The bed was hard. They serve breakfast for about $10 but no other meals and nearest restaurant is not too close.
Pleasant and friendly staff. Quite close to the city centre (~500m from metrostation). Free parking and great offer on the room. Breakfast was ok. They should not refer themself as a "4 star" hotel. I've been to classier 2 star hotels. Rooms were fairly clean, but need a full renovation as does the whole hotel. People who expect this hotel to be a 4 star quality are going to be dissapointed. The restaurant is available only for groups.
This hotel was pretty close to a metro stop which made it easy to get around Rome. They also had very convenient, free, parking for guests. The location is on the edge of Rome, so when driving, it was nice to not have to drive far into Rome to find this hotel. The room was clean, and fairly spacious. I would stay here again! The room wasn't bad, but there were a couple places that could have used some updating like a little peeling wall paper, minor stuff.
Distance, quality of dotations, food ...
noisy, not efficient air condition
price very good the food available - the restaurant food was very unappealing, only a set menu on offer. and the breakfast available was very limited. the hotel did not seem to match a 4 star rating.
