The hotel was kept very clean (never seen such a clean hotel before). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location if you want to enjoy present day Rome and not step out into the tourist crowds: in a quiet middle class neighbourhood but with lots of couleur locale, restaurants, bars, tavola caldas, icesalons (pompi!), no tourist(trap)s, safe area and an underground station nearby The hotel is very new and minimal modern (not extremly luxurious), so thats ok, but inventory (pipes, lights, etc.), that is breaking down (which happens everywhere after day 1) has not been repared. So they should hire a regular reparations man as soon as possible. Although it was not yet really needed, the airconditioning did not work (not in the room and nowhere else in the hotel).
Meget bra service. Bedre frokost. Savnet noe varmt.
Komforten og servicen. Personalet var alltid hyggelig og blide. Muligens beliggenheten
The owner was a fantastic host and the room was beautiful! It's close enough to walk to the highlights but is in a residential area so it's quiet and away from the tourists! The bathroom was not attached to our room so that makes it a little awkward running back and forth.
Frokost og rommet
Nydelig beliggenhet ved flott strand. Gåavstand til ekoselig by. Kjøreavstand til flere andre koselige byer.
Hotellet var ok.a bo fordi man kunne lett reise til Roma.Ok.beliggnhet etc.
The room was modern ... that´s about it Construction in the hotel and outside our window at 7am, no use of pool, AC didn´t work, etc...
Close to the Metro stations. Very helpful front staff. Recently refurbished and repainted. Hidden, impossible to find. Need a bigger sign on the main road. Locate by street address. Also, no breakfast nor bar facilities (yet).
Price The air conditioning of my room never worked. The breakfast was too poor, is was a snack.
Only 3 minutes to metro (tube), lively street with shops and restaurants for breakfast and dinner, clean rooms. There is no light above the mirror, it's harder to shave. Otherwise, we were happy.
brand new, stylist and fresh. Pool though not fininshed eg no chairs still very new, it lacked. little things like proper towels, lift no finished, more lighting
The man at the reception who was there every morning was very helpful. Also the location was good I guess, since the hotel was very near the train station taking you directly to the city center. No breakfast (or breakfast room) whatsoever, the elevator was broken throughout our whole stay (we walked up three floors every day), somebody from the reception (the night shift) knocked on our door and woke us up at midnight, because he got the wrong room, and the rooms are tiny
Close to 2 Metro stations, close to CineGela gelateria, placs to buy food were nearby. And it was also quieter than I expected, considering via Tuscolana is a busy street. Nothing major- there is still a feel of the outside area being under construction, but this was not a problem really.
Near metro, only 20 minutes to central Rome, within 25 minutes of Ciampino and for us, near family. In local area with loads shops and restaurants. Room modern and clean as was showeroom. Good value for a hotel not too far from central Rome. We knew the area where the hotel was, so not an issue for us. You need to accept that there are no hotel services, the area is busy (metro noise, road noise etc), that Tuscolano has lots of graffiti (as does Rome), that finding the hotel may be difficult and that really you are staying in a room with a concierge type reception you will get what you pay for.
the AC the the room was a bit faulty.
The location is pretty far away from the Center, but the connection with the Metro is very good (just one block away)... So that's good. It is a nice looking building, but completely unpractical.... the pool is also still under construction. The hotel is suppose to be finish..... but there're tubes coming out from the walls (and are even use to put the toilet paper on them...). Internet was a joke... you have to pay for it, is not available in the rooms and, more importantly, it never worked. No breakfast, not that you have to pay for it... no breakfast at all. To do the check out (at 8:30, not even that early for a hotel) the guy at the reception was completely asleep, with even a pillow on top of the desk. I had to pay on cash, or it would take him for ever to wake up and deal with my card........ The people cleaning the room systematically unplugged our computer.
Staff and hotel location
Location was nice very close to the bus and Metro stops. Staff gave detailed directions / tips for around the area. Only the tiny elevator took for ever to find it empty. Could walk five flights of steps fast than the elavator.
Excellently situated in central part of town a few hundred meters to the nearest Metro station Room not quite up to usual Best Western standard. Carpets appeared to be worne down and wall paper had come unstuck in places. Unpleasant odour from the toilet.
Nice view from the restaurant, room and facilities were good. At first we didn't get the room we reserved (double bed at front of hotel instead of the desired twin beds at the back of the hotel), but this was corrected after the first night.
I thought their breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety. The view from the lounge was great, which helped me get around the area since I walked most of the places I visited. The location is perfect, with culture, art, food and shopping all within walking distance. I asked for smoking but didn't get it.Didn't have resturant open all day.Internet isn't same as North American,so I didn't know how to use it and language barrier seemed to far apart to get help that I needed.
Clean Rooms. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast, Good internet connection I was happy with everything!
Clean with good facilities and a good bus service into the centre It was a bit further out than we would have liked
Location. It's quite easy to find, even if you don't want to use a taxi (but you have to walk about 5-7 min. from the metro station). My room was comfortable, although for the people that are bigger and taller than me it may seem a bit too small. The breakfast was good, even for the vegetarian, and there was even the library! The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. I didn't quite understand how was the lift working during the breakfast time - it seemed that the destination "hall" had been disabled, and I was restricted to use stairs to come down when checking out. I don't mind using stairs, I just didn't understand how the lift worked...
Location, friendly staff Very small room
Very friendly, helpful staff. Good prices and not far from center
Friendly staff, clean, and conveniently located.
This is a very nice B&B. It is 5 min walk from San Giovanni subway metro Station and 15 min walk from the coliseum. The pictures are very accurate. Excellent value, its very clean and modern with very nice helpful hosts. The free WiFi works great. Coffee shop a block away, places to eat close by too!
Irene at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Luda, who served us cappuccino each day, was gracious and friendly as well. The hotel is away from the city center but close to bus, train, and metro. There's a fruit/veg market nearby. The room was a little small, but I think this is normal for Rome, where everything is compact. It took a little getting used to, but we decided it was perfect for our needs as we didn't spend much time in the room anyway.
