1. sport center closed between 12 and 4pm. Absurd. I choose the hotel even for that reason, and if I wanted to jogg at 3pm I have to make a story at thereception. 2. I asked for a little iron for 1 hour. they do not have it for security reason
The hotel in conveniently located in Boa Viagem, close enough to the Ocean and at the same time far enough to avoid the noise and traffic of the oceanside. Hotel staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet excellent. Like most of the buildings in Recife having a smell caused by the high humidity levels, this was not an exception, even though the staff made everything possible to help
Pool area was excellent room was a bit simple
Wonderful pool area. Only the bar desk, not nice sitting area nearby
The staff was trying to be helpful, but their lack of English skills makes it very difficult to converse. One young lady at the desk was proficient in English and was particularly helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant is quite good. Every meal I had there was tasty and the daily breakfast was hard to beat. The view of the ocean over the palm trees is quite nice. No apparent ability to call taxis. The morning rush to the football match was a mess, they were completely unprepared. The rooms are old and dated, but comfortable enough. Without air conditioning, they would have been unbearable. The air conditioner window cut-out leaked due to the driving rains. Little bugs in the room on the desk, probably mites. Hopefully they are still in Recife and not in my home! This is a no frills place a bit further southeast than the nicer areas with perhaps more action in Recife.
It was close to the beach. Hotel was clean and well presented. Staff were very unfriendly and did not really help.
clean room very small room small bathroom. for R$ 260 per night for this Deluxe Double Room, there are better options
our check in process was very quick and efficient and the staff was wonderful, informed and very helpful.
Its good location and proximity to the beach. Breakfast was decent too. Hotel is situated in touristy neighborhood, I was robbed in the alley going to the beach just to the left of hotel in the broad daylight. Use the safe deposit box provided!
Well located, friendly staff and very good breakfast.
staff are well trained, always ready to help a turist and very kind; very good breakfast site did not announce that the swimming pool was not available; need to review air conditioning
The buffet breakfast was worth looking forward to, would like to there again just for the breakfast Workers doing construction every day I was there, right nnext to my room. Management had no explanation but sorry
the free wireless internet was great, the hotel was near the beach. the staff was attentive and helpful the breakfast was fantastic and tasty. not much choice when it came to food. the hotel was far from the center of town. the only English station was the Communist Network News (CNN) the beds were not very comfy. the view from the room was a roof of a building next door. The room had a broken a/c unit, which was replaced. the hot water was seldom hot. the safe never worked,
location, roof top facilities overpriced for its category, poor satellite choices, there are better options in the area.
I think tha localization was good, but the rooms and the bathrooms ware not confortables
The rooftop swimming pool was nice, though small. The breakfast was one of the better we found in Brazil although average by European standards. The 'sea view' was not worth paying extra for, as the hotel is situated some 100m or so from the sea.
The front desk was very helpful to this non-Portuguese speaking customer. The room, while small, was all I needed and it did have a view of the ocean. The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. The included breakfast had a good variety of fresh items. The hallways where hot and humid but who spends any time in a hallway anyway? The air conditioner was a bit noisy but did not really mess up my sleeping. The one item missing from the breakfast selection was bananas, which i found strange coming from a part of the world where bananas seem to be readily available.
Excelent location, next to all nice clubs, night life but also beaches and the old town of Recife. Excelent for young couple but also for romantic vacation
Very helpful staff The AC makes a lot of noise and worse is the fridge permanent noise once the AC is off. Sounds like a tumblewasher going on for ever. Get it fixed or remove. it s no good.
Internal palace, frendly personal on lobby, some rooms, some dishes in restorant some rooms without windows, poor antinoise isolation, too fried (as chips)salmon in restorant, the part of internal palace not defend from rain, too little swimming pool.
The staff is great, very helpful, service oriented. The facilities were good but do need some minor maintainance.
The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean. The location was perfect for us, we wanted to be close to the airport.
The location of the hotel was in a secure zone The customer service is really bad
The bathroom didn't have good isolation. You could hear the neighbor's "activities"...
This hotel is at a great location, about 15 minutes from the airport, the cab ride is around $24 reais. There is a transfer included if you book through booking.com but you have to call days before to confirm. The staff are super nice and they speak english well, Breno helped us a lot at the front desk. The breakfast is amazing, lots of fruit, breads, cakes, cheeses and ham, also the typical meat (carne de sol) and "macaxeira"(yuca). There is also someone (Josi is her name) preparing omelets, "tapioca" just outside by the pool where we eat breakfast. The bar at the pool is open 24 hours and there's a nice lounge at the second floor. The city tour Recife-Olinda was great!! Leandro from the travel agency at the hotel helped us with that. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are ok, I would suggest some renovations for the bathroom but overall this hotel is still a great deal for the price. The air-conditioning system is good and their pillows are very soft, goose feather. The food price is a little overpriced but there is a "padaria" or coffee-bread place around the corner from the hotel where you can get bread and sandwiches for half of the price. The padaria also sell beer, sodas, milk, cookies and have lunch during the day. The hotel is also near by a shopping mall, about 6-7 blocks west, the mall is very nice and food is very good. The beach is about 3 blocks east...super nice and convenient! I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with kids and couples.
Well run hotel, helpful staff, good satellite choices, good location. Also the restaurant is worthed. The room close to the pool can be a bit noisy, and I couldnt regulate the a/c
The staff was very good, and they speak English well. The breakfast is very good (many kinds of food, and you can eat at will, from 6h to 10h). They do not have a converter from electric plug of my computer (I am from France) to their switches/sockets in rooms, so I had to ask someone to another hotel to give me such a converter to charge my computer. The refrigerator and the air conditioner in the room are noisy. Especially, for my first room the air conditioner in the hall was very noisy, so I asked to change my room (and they gave my another one). On the last day, when I wanted to pay, my eurocard/mastercard card was refused by their device (there was surely a problem with their device), so I was forced to get out cash from a nearby bank with greater taxes.
We had 2 rooms reserved; one was OK which had been recently refurbished but the other room was very tired and in dire need of total refurbishment.
Location and breakfast no safe in room (we were given a key to the safe) - Ants in the room and on bed - Pool had no staff or towels, had to go to front desk and get towels. Lobby bar closed early 9:30pm, front desk spoke no english (very difficult to ask for things) Pool is not handicap accessible, we had to climb stairs to get to pool
