Ulemper: No gym.

Fordeler: It’s location, room’s recently renovated to very high standard, view’s over looking the ocean. Food and service was very good. Cleanliness to a very high standard. Staff smart and extremely helpful.

Ulemper: Absolutely nothing.

Fordeler: Being in service for 50 years and still has very good conditions. Room temperature perfect, our room had a comfortable small sitting room and fantastic scenery over the River. With Magnificent sunsets

Ulemper: The spa pool area is too small, but they make up for it by booking your usage times.

Fordeler: good breakfast, very confortable room very good relation price vs quality

Fordeler: The hotel was right on the water. Letting the ocean breeze into the room if you wish. Quiet, relaxing place with walks along the water.

Fordeler: Amazing breakfast, really clean hotel in a great location, chocs on pillow on arrival and lovely staff.

Fordeler: Good Value for money, decent rooms, location, decent breakfast.

Ulemper: You could smell the spa everywhere , and the room's doors weren't decently soundproof so during early mornings or late night you could hear clearly people walking and talking

Ulemper: Everything is paid ! Even the pool. They should inform the costumers beforehand

Fordeler: Bed and pillows are very comfortable, closed to all the major attractions.

Fordeler: Very cozy & kind crews!

Fordeler: This was a standard hotel, we enjoyed our stay very much. Close to the old town and the shops so best of both worlds. Easy walk from the station (2km). Parking if travelling by car.

Fordeler: Good location, cozy room, nice personnel

Ulemper: Don't pay extra for breakfast, better and cheaper to have coffee nearby, but I didn't know in advance:)

Fordeler: The hotel is modern and very clean, with it’s own parking garage, which costs money. Breakfast was fine. Good location to walk around Pontevedra, which is a lovely city and great for shopping too.

Ulemper: No kettle and tea or coffee available for the room, safe in the room costs money (on a daily basis) in order to use. Furniture is pretty basic and the double bed is not a large one. If you have suitcases with you, as we did, you have to lug them with you from the parking garage across the street to the hotel. There is a mini-lift to get them from street level to the lobby, but it’s all a bit of an ordeal. Best thing is to travel light if you stay there! As the hotel is in the middle of town, there’s quite a bit of noise from late-night “festivities “ on the weekend, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

Fordeler: Nice hotel. Great location. Breakfast not anything special. Staff quite friendly.

Fordeler: Large room, comfortable beds, good cafeteria, taxi rank in street, helpful staff.

Fordeler: The room is very spacious. Large-sized shower. The bidet in bathroom was a great surprise.

Ulemper: Very slow wi-fi. Furniture and decorations are obsolete.

Fordeler: Central location in nice town Room v good and staff friendly and helpful.

Ulemper: A bit tricky to park the car but good garage.

Fordeler: The location is perfect, right in the city center and really near the historic part of town. The staff is helpful, and it's good value for money.

Ulemper: No complains

Fordeler: This the hotel of reference for Spain. It should become the Department of Tourism yardstick for excellence. Never found a better hotel.

Ulemper: The whole point about the quality of this hotel is that if you have a problem the sort it therefore no problem!

Fordeler: Excellent meal value for money in general Really clean.spa was good too.Receptionist at the spa slightly grumpy and very unsociable otherwise the hotel is excellent.

Ulemper: Excellent .really clean and restaurant staff really really profesional and friendly.Juan who attended me was fantastic.

Fordeler: I liked every aspect of the hotel for a short stay 6 days or less

Ulemper: I was disapointed that there was no internet access in any of the rooms.In the loby there was only one computer to acess the internet. I do not mind paying for internet but these days every one has a note book. Please get a wifi modem so i can use my note book and i will definatly stay again.

Fordeler: amazing place

Fordeler: We stayed on night to explore the down and run a local race. The hotel is stunning, well looked after and the staff we very helpful and accommodated our requests. We would love to come back some day.

Ulemper: De slo av air-condition midt på natten og med barer og støy rett i nærheten, ble det krevende å sove. I flg. hotellet var dette en del av et bærekraftsprogram, og det er positivt at de er opptatt av dette, men her strekker de det for langt.

Fordeler: Lots to choose from, on the Sunday plenty of hot items, on the Monday it was cooked to order.

Ulemper: Some free water in the room would have been nice

Fordeler: The reception staff were very friendly and professional, the room was huge and very comfortable indeed.

Ulemper: Water pressure on shower could have been better and i couldn't turn heating on in the room independently in the afternoon, but wasn't a big problem.

Fordeler: Veldig bra frokost, godt utvalg og pent lokale.

Ulemper: Støy utenfor om natten, ikke bare litt.

Fordeler: Really comfortable in excellent convenient position . Staff really helpful.

Ulemper: Nothing.

Fordeler: Vakker bygning, store, fine rom, flott beliggenhet, veldig god service.

Ulemper: Ikke noe

Fordeler: The raw luxury of the place. Great public areas. Magnificcent building with lots of fabulous woodwork.

Ulemper: This is a very posh hotel.

Fordeler: Great central location, easy walk around the old city and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Very historic property with friendly staff, had a fantastic time well of the beaten track.

Ulemper: Nothing to report!

Fordeler: Superb hotel. We had a lovely room on third floor with sea view and balcony which was even more idyllic when we spotted dolphins in the bay one late afternoon! Stunning beach nearby and 10 min walk to harbour with restaurants. Exceptionally good breakfast. All in all very good value and very pleasant helpful staff.

Fordeler: Small hotel, very clean,friendly staff, great choice for breakfast and excellent location for resteraunts.

Ulemper: Noisy air conditioning unit on roof terrace.

Fordeler: The staff were excellent, the breakfast superb and the rooms comfortable. Very easy to walk to both Portonovo and Sanxenxo.

Fordeler: The room was super comfy and clean, I especially liked the in house sound system and the fact that the breakfast was until late, 11 am, so we could sleep a bit more. For the days we didn’t want to go to the beach we had the rooftop pool with enough places to sit and relax. Room service was spot on and they also provided beach towels that we could change whenever we wanted, which is really useful.

Ulemper: Sometimes the cocktails they made weren’t the best but this pales in comparison with the overall good experience

Ulemper: Bathroom was dreadful. Too tightly furnished. Bath and shower facility for older people was positively dangerous. . Location poor with a continual noise coming from an adjacent (industrial?) building. Swimming pool far too small. No need to have two enormous wall televisions. Bed really uncomfortable.

Fordeler: Staff is very, very friendly. We felt comfortable from the very first moment. Extremely nice beach.

Fordeler: The staff were very helpful and accommodating

Ulemper: A large party with VERY loud music and and a person on a microphone shouting until 3am on Friday night. Sells itself as a small boutique hotel but then caters to lots of large local party functions. Absolutely ridiculous that hotel guests paid $200 per night for this. I had to come down to lobby in my pyjamas at 3am to finally get the music and microphone turned off. Then awoken at 5:30am by room next door getting ready as walls are paper thin at the hotel. The hotel then refused to compensate me for this night as I had booked through booking.com so had paid the amount upfront. Very very disappointed with the hotel and I would never recommend anyone stay there. Completely overpriced for what you get.

Fordeler: The breakfast, owner and staff were great. We are dinner on the restaurant. It was really enjoyable.

Ulemper: Really poor internet. Very very frustrating. For the price of the accommodation maybe worth considering satellite or an upgrade if possible. Noticed the owner had trouble with the internet too!

Fordeler: The grounds were beautiful.

Ulemper: The staff were unfriendly, not helpful, and almost rude. Since we didn’t speak much Spanish, they dismissed us and ignored us. They seemed to disregard the person who made the reservation was a woman and asked my husband everything. This is the only place that this has happened on our trip.

Fordeler: The hotel looked like it had great facilities except for the restaurant and pool and hot tub were all closed. We definitely would not have made the detour if we had understood this to be the case.

Ulemper: They could be friendlier at check in and communicate better about the facilities not be open.

Fordeler: Nice lady at the reception

Ulemper: Swimming pool not accessible Family party in the garden and room under our room. Very noisy instead of the rest and relaxation we were looking for after walking the camino. Need to take a taxi to get there from Pontevedra.

Fordeler: Extremely helpful receptionist. Lovely place. We just happened to arrive on a Tuesday and their restaurant was closed for dinner. Other restaurants super close by, though. Breakfast really good.

Fordeler: Hotel staffs are really helpful. My friend left his hearing aid in room, they found it and mail it to us on the next day. Great service.

Fordeler: Location was very central.

Ulemper: The rooms were a bit small and didn't have much of a view.

Fordeler: The room was very clean and tidy. Loved the products that they provided us! I forgot my body lotion and was saved thanks to the hotel!

Ulemper: I didn't like the fact that the room had such thin walls that you could hear everything. The cleaning ladies in the morning were so loud that they wook us up early.

Fordeler: Breakfast was very good. Front desk was very nice and welcoming.

Ulemper: Nothing

Fordeler: The room was very nice and organized. Any time I had a question or needed help with something, the receptionist was always helpful. The location of the hotel was close to everything and made my stay much easier.

Ulemper: I thought the breakfast could have been better. Nevertheless, I thought it was pretty good. Besides that, I really have no complaints.

Fordeler: Central location - an easy 10 minute walk from the train and coach stations, and on the edge of the town centre on a quiet road. Staff - smiling and welcoming, all spoke good English Room - spacious single (room 202), quiet (near lift but couldn't hear it operating). Very clean (could smell the bleach in the bathroom after housekeeping had been in) and comfortable. Really good shower pressure, no issues with getting hot water when needed. Free wifi worked well. Loads of storage - big wardrobe and also shelving. Good value for money - would recommend.

Ulemper: Can't think of anything

Fordeler: It’s a modern hotel with big rooms in the centre of Pontevedra. Reception staff were very nice and helpful.

Ulemper: The place is sparkling clean but the cleaning staff couldn’t make any more noisy in the morning if they tried.

Fordeler: Location and facilities

Ulemper: We forgot to add a child in the booking and the arrangements offered by the hotel were basically add another bed as an extra adult with considerable added cost

Fordeler: The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The shower in our room was also exceptional!

Ulemper: We booked a double room with a double bed but ended up with two double beds pushed together plus an extra single bed. This arrangement would be perfect for families but it was just me and my partner. However, the beds were comfortable and we made do. Breakfast was good but cutlery and other items weren’t replenished very quickly, which meant quite a simple breakfast on the last day of our stay.

Fordeler: The location was fantastic, and the facilities were very new and clean.

Ulemper: I can’t really think of anything

Fordeler: Hotel Airinos really exceeded our expectations and is great value for money. It looks like it has been very recently modernised. The rooms, which have A/C, although not huge were very well thought out, modern and spotlessly clean. Very good shower. Breakfast was great (fresh orange juice every morning, great local breads, pastries, cheeses and hams, fresh fruit). Staff throughout the hotel really pleasant and helpful. Rooms were quiet and beds comfy, we slept well. The restaurant belonging to the the hotel at the front of the building on the wide main esplanade of the town serves very good local food and tapas in a modern setting, is also excellent, very popular and has friendly staff.

Fordeler: It was clean

Ulemper: Breakfast was good but was not being replenished and most things were finished when we got there at 9:30 am

Ulemper: Smell of cigarette smoke arising from the alley into my open window.

Fordeler: Great staff, excellent location, roomy units.

Ulemper: Couldn’t unlock the door without assistance, the handle on the washer was broken, and the sofa bed was practically unusable because of how warped and uncomfortable the mattress was.

Fordeler: The hotel and rooms were very nice - small suites really with a kitchenette and a very comfortable bed - with airco - yeah!. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Ulemper: The location is outside the core of Pontevedra, so we did have a bit of walking back and forth to explore the city, then for dinner and then the next morning to get back on the Camino. My biggest negative would be the poor breakfast items and complete lack of service.

Fordeler: The hotel is located at a very good location and had all we needed to stay with our family for one night. The room was large, clean and well equipped.

Ulemper: The lighting in family size rooms/ suites where we stayed could be improved (at least in the living room area) as it was very poor.

Fordeler: The location was ideal.

Ulemper: Nothing comes to mind.

Fordeler: Spacious, clean, great location

Fordeler: Vi var der i en uke. Først av alt så kan vi ikke sammenligne standarden og pris mot hva vi får i Norge. Frokosten var svært enkel,med akkurat det enkleste en trenger for en god start på dagen. Utrolig fint å bare kunne traske ut i kafeen og begynne dagen der. Rommene var store og luftige og ingen støy. Kjøleskap , kjøkken og vaskemaskin var også ett pluss . Beliggenhet var perfekt for oss som ikke bruker bil i ferien -nær til shoppinggate og gamlebyen. Strand var kun 3 km unna, så en fin trasketur om en ønsker dette..

Ulemper: Sengene var knallharde, så en mellomting hadde vært fint. Det var også en sporadisk kloakklukt som kom og gikk uten vi fant ut hvor det kom fra. Prisen var "høy" om vi sammenligner med norske priser ift hva vi fikk ,men med denne beliggenheten så skjønner vi hvorfor :)

Fordeler: The kitchen in the appartment, plus the washing machine, are a cost-saving option for longer stays. The hotel is at close walking distance from the historic center with a parking garage across the street.

Fordeler: The location and the hotel surrounding are perfect. Just few blocks from the Pontevedra old city. The rooms are big, It's very good option to travel with family.

Ulemper: Nothing to tell about!

Fordeler: The view from the hotel rooms is incredible.

Ulemper: The breakfast lacked healthy options, apart from the fruit which was really good.

Fordeler: Hotel was exceptionally clean and beds very comfortable. Close proximity to two lovely beaches. Pool was lovely and well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free parking available at front of hotel.

Ulemper: Our room didn’t have a terrace or a balcony which we really missed so check out if the room you booked has this as not all rooms in the hotel do. Portonovo is around 15 mins walk away which is ok for adults but not suitable for young children.

Fordeler: Super clean room and hotel, great breakfast and very friendly staff. Will definitely go back.

Fordeler: The location right next to the old town to visit everything on foot and easily catch up with the camiño to Santiago. A comfortable small room with private bathroom for a cheap price not far from the price of some albergues we found ln booking.
