Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Beautiful setting with view of the beach. Pool was amazing. Just a short walk to the beach. Food was delicious and well presented. Would highly recommend this hotel. Our favourite hotel in Greece!
excellent service, very nice room this hotel is not near by the beach. you have to pay 5 euro for a bench on the beach
We booked a number of hotels through bookings.com for our honeymoon, this hotel was by far our favorite. The reception staff were professional and helpful. Not to mention the beach & local restaurants were 100 metres walk away. Our room was clean and tidy. We also had a beautiful view with a balcony looking out to the med. ps. The water massage was wonderful too No complaints, as mentioned this was our favorite hotel and destination.
Luxurious minimalistic decor. Very attentive staff. Great view from top floor. Own jacuzzi. Great room Fish & lobster dinner a bit bland. Could have used more seasoning.
Lovely location on well appointed beach Platis Yialos, close to Mykonos town (bus or taxi -10'). Great Spa, very helpful staff in all areas (dining, reception, spa, porter, etc) good cuisine (greek/fusion), good selection of wines, and nice ambiance. Bathroom maintaneance poor (a bit "jaded"- toilet seat supports broken/missing), door of room rattles in the wind (frequent) - fixed it myself with a piece of paper), delivery of gift items ordered beforehand for my wife's birthday were forgotten, follow up poor, (Hotel manager made nice gesture (free meal) in compensation, but was a shame.Hotel quite full and busy for end of season. Seem to have got their pricing right.
The service definitively specially from Kostantinos at the front desk was something very unique. The view from the room was amazing and I loved the orange juice during the breakfast the best! Thank you we really will be back N/a
The view, proximity to the beach, the staff, the breakfast buffet it was a little difficult to get to the town.
Friendliness of staff
The staff there is amazing!!! So accommodating, so kind, just lovely in every way possible! Beautiful hotel, great views, fully recommend!
Amazing views, attentive staff and a short drive to Mykonos the only thing missing in the morning was the Canadian edition of the news they provide.
Everything except the size of thr rooms. They should be slightly larger for this type of hotel.
Amazing staff and service Short walk to 2 great beaches Short drive to town
It a very Peace Full location. the room are very well decorated. The atmosphere form the loby to the pool side... it simply relaxing... Comfort and charme...
Excellent hotel staff. Relatively quiet location in Mykonos terms.
Very nice hotel with strong and supportive management team Poor quality of few receptionists
Eventhough it wasn't at Mykonos town center, the location was great. It was close to the beach, restaurants, mini-markets and bus stop. Not to say that we had great view from our room. Very nice. The only complaint that I have is the reception staff weren't very pleasant. Helpful, yes but not very nice.
Excellent view. We had view of the sea which is well worth it. The breakfast was ok but the service was excellent. While they tell you about the beach that is about 10 minute walk from the hotel, there is a nice beach very close by around 2 minutes walk. The beach is clean and you can work out with the restaurants on the beach so that you can stay on the beach with a beach chair and unbrella for free as long as you have lunch with them. The first restaurant does that but most of the others just discount a 10 Euro (for 2) charge if you spend a certain amount on lunch. Asking for single queen/king size bed did not help at all. We had two small beds put together. sheets and single pillow which is not that comfortable.
the view was excellent ,the staff very, very nice
The views, the proximity and the pool were great The staff were hardly ever around and when they were they were rather impolite and unhelpful. Also the aircon didn't work in our room so it was boiling. All in all, I felt a bit cheated out of my 'once in a lifetime' hotel
close to the beach, good view
excellent location and views. People very nice and helpful. Great beach and service. internet was difficult
I have been all over the world this Famly hotel in the top 5 outstanding Was the one that ended our holiday on a high Our 48 wedding Anaversry No Coffee in room
The location and view were amazing. I also really enjoyed having the restaurant on site; it was convenient and delicious. The smell of cigarette smoke inside the hotel was overwhelming and very unpleasant.
Hotel is charming, quiet, has beautiful landscaping and is right on the beach. Breakfast was perfect and restaurant dining is excellent. Everything was just right!
The beach was just a few steps from the breakfast terrace. Variety of restaurants around. Beach chairs and umbrella were free. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and AC unit cooled quickly. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The WiFi was incredibly slow and spotty. Very frustrating. Rooms were small but efficient. Shower was a bit sketchy...old and outdated.
Access to beach for a relaxing holiday. Convenient
Excellent location right on the beach. Good restaurant overlooking the sea, free sun lounges on the excellent white sandy beach, easy access by bus to Mykonos town 10 mins away, easy access to Paradise beach by boat or walking.
All was good. The team at the hotel were all very friendly! Not so much the hotel, but the amount of people outside the hotel pushing products such as Cd's, handbags etc in your face. Actually had an argument withe one of them, a very unpleasant experience. My wife and i were on holidays, so it was quite distressing. Would not come back unless that's heavily policed, which it wasn't.
The staff were friendly, especially Georgia and Thomas. However, the restaurants near the hotel were very loud due to the location of the hotel which is in a very popular section of the beach. The restaurants near the hotel were very loud due to the location of the hotel which is in a very popular section of the beach.
Room was all that was expected; represented well in promotions. Breakfasts are marginal at best; worst of all hotels we know in Greece.
The location and view from our seaview room was fantastic. Breakfast was great, and staff were helpful. Would definately recommend. The restaurant had awesome food at great prices...the seafood risotto for 2 was the best!
Good reception services Old furnishing, disfunctional air conditioning, bad cleaning service, incredibly dark room during the whole day.
location right on the beach at Plytis Giallos; good breakfast; friendly and helpful staff; cleanliness; quality of the room and bathroom
the location and accomodations were better than described. the only reason i did not check off more amenities in the previous question was that we did not avail ourselves of them. we particularly appreciated that, although we were a day late in our arrival, due to an athens airline strike, they did graciously did not charge us for that night's stay. the staff was exceptionaly helpful to three american sisters who did not speak a word of greek, and our room was especially set up for the three of us. i could not complain about anything, except us, your visitors. maybe you could help us by supplying more trash recepticales. your lovely beach needs to be cared for and treasured.
I loved the location. The little area of close by restaurants. The view was amazing. Great bus connections.
Location and ambiance. It was close to a nice beach. The arrangements to get back to our boat was a bit confusing - basically not the fault of the staff - just too many people clogging the roadways.
The hotel is located immediately at the beach with beautiful view, and easy access from Mykonos Chora. Nice pool with children's pool and high quality sunbeds. The beach is only few steps away surrounded by many great tavernas/restaurants. Don't miss to eat in Nikos' Restaurant, that's the best! Very professional, helpful and flexible staff.
The hotel was amazing. The service there was absolutley amazing. They were so nice, and would go out of they're way to make sure we enjoyed our experience. I recommend going right before the busy sesaon starts. The weather is nice, and it is cheaper, and there are way less people there. And please eat at the restraunt at the hotel.....it was so good!!!
The hotel was lovely. It was what you would expect for a beautiful Greek hotel on the water. The room was very comfortable and the staff were accomodating. We were across from the pool but still had a view of the ocean. The room maintenance was wonderful. Clean towels were provided twice a day and they also had a hairdryer.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great, close to beach, water taxis to other beaches and bus to the town.
We loved our room. We got the only 1 of the 2 Executive Double Rooms with outdoor jacuzzi. We had the best view of the beach/bay probably on the whole beach because we had like a 280 degree view from our massive balcony. We were close to all the restaurants on the beach. Not a kid friendly menu anywhere though. The beach was right under us literally. We didn't like that the jacuzzi was full of bugs when we arrived. They didn't bother to clean it before we got there so we had to ask them to clean it. We also didn't like how when we arrived, the hotel attempted to get us to switch rooms to a lower room (a regular double) by acting as if the room they were trying to stick us in was the room we booked.
Fin beliggenhet.
the view was breathtaking .
Although at the end of Season, the Staff were very helpful &friendly. The Hotel was kept very clean, breakfast was excellent-free use of Laptop from reception &receptionist very helpful when we decided to book a flight from Mykonos & a free Transfer to Airport Only minor-the jacuzzi bath was broken in our room-we were asked if wanted to move room but declined-Pool was was running out of stock but was end of season-some people didnt like music being played around Pool Area!
Water view rooms were newer and clean last year. On the beach, good location, many bars and restaurants to choose from. Do yourself a favor, make sure you get one of the newer rooms with the water view. That's what we had last year, it was clean and acceptable. The older rooms are HORRIBLE and that's what we got stuck with this year. If the newer, upgraded rooms aren't available, just don't take the risk. When we arrived, our room this year had water on the floor of the bathroom from the toilet, there was mold in the bathroom, and the plumbing is so old the sewer gases come up the floor drain so your room smells like you know what. They told us they had no other room available. We covered the floor drain and bought a ton of candles to make it smell acceptable, and put several towels down and walked on wet towels for a couple nights. Will never stay in one of these rooms again. Disgusting.
The location was excellent, close to the beach and the pool area was quite nice We were on our honeymoon and were given a room with two twin beds put together, also the shower was tiny, I was hardly able to turn around. There was a lack of luxuries for the price we paid. For the price, you would expect a 5 star accommodation.
The hotel staff were A+ A bit pricey on the rooms!!!!
The location of the hotel is wonderful, between two beautiful beaches. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a wonderful patio. The breakfast was excellent. Great value and a beautiful place. A complimentary shuttle from port/airport would be great. Many places on the island include it.
nothing breakfast, rooms, really bad smell at the bathroom
good location, close to the beach
The location of the hotel to Paradise and Parango Beach(es). The hotel is old and in desparare need of updating.
Very good position between paradise and paraga!!!2 nice cat as room keeper!good breakfast!
Mykonos is the best best place all over the world and SAN GIORGIO is the best place to stay there! Great staff, great place, great desing!
location, hospitality and professional level of the personal.Design of the hotel and room.Good breakfast the water pressure in the bath. The room i was given first was way too worse (bathroom equipment, TV set, location above the kitchen, etc) than another room that i was given later though they were of the same category. NeverthelessI am thankful for the change of the room
Charming, clean accomodations. Friendly, hospitable staff. Not too far from bus station. Robust breakfast. Hotel was very accomodating for those requiring a late check out with separate facilities for guests to shower. Lovely pool and balconies. Site should state more clearly that there is a charge for internet access. Also, hotel may want to consider shuttle bus service to / from Mykonos town in the future. It would be a nice touch.
The room was beautiful and spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Everyone was very polite, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was nice, too.
Good size room; great view from the balcony; that it was a short walk to the beach Some of the staff weren't that friendly
Good and quite generous breakfast! To be in Greece it's a good quality hotel, but beaware that a 4 star hotel in Greece is like a 2 star hotel in Spain or in Germany.
Excellent hotel and would definitely recommend it! None
i did not think you could have a relaxing holiday with a toddler but we did and it was because of this hotel. small enough to be personal but have everything you need. could not do enough to help us. definately will go back.
Reciption Girl is very nice, and the breakfast is very good. A little bit hard to find it.No internet in the room,Only Wifi in the reciption
The decor and/design. The front desk staff were extremly friendly and most speak well English, which is a plus. I did not find the staff at the breakfast restaurant friendly. Also What I paid for the room was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay not worth the stay. Its a rip off. the size of the room that we got, which apparently is a delux room, is 1/4 the size of my home garage. And I have never seen that when you enter a room, you go through the bathroom first and then you get to the bedroom. Also, many cab drivers were not sure where the hotel is, i guess it did not seem to be too famous??
The staff were excellent always helpful & friendly
It was in a good location about 5 min from the beach. The rooms were in good size with balcony with good views of the sea. Nice pool. Transfers to and from the port provided by hotel Apart from one hotel staff (Kamal) who was very friendly and very helpful in giving us knowledge of the local area the other staff were very poor.
All Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Location just at the water, its perfect. and small car parking behind the hotel, which u dont find easily in Mykonos. Bus station just behind the hotel, car/motorbike rental just behind the hotel, very beautifull Descent Beach. a kettler and tea or cofee in the room would be perfect
the location was excellent.Close to public transport.Excellent manager at reception,Dimitri. He was always helpful and friendly Could not get double beds in room.Water not that hot
The staff are absolutely amazing! Dimitri, the manager, is the most caring and welcoming person you will ever meet. The restaurant is top quality and the waiters are fantastic! No.
Dimitris at the front desk is warm and welcoming. The hotel restaurant sits right on the beach front so is a beautiful dining setting any time of the day. You are charged EUR10 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella on the beach but you can claim up to EUR8 from this in the restaurant. The bus to the town is 2 mins walk away.
Position of hotel was good This hotel requires upgrading to its fascilities
Was located on the beach A normal human could not fit into the shower.
I particularly liked where the hotel is. The location is great - just far enough from Paradise Beach that it's very quiet, but close enough to walk to the beach. Public buses will pick you up right at the hotel driveway so you can get into Mykonos town for dinner easily and quickly. The location couldn't be a better combination of quiet and accessibility for those of us who don't want to rent cars. The photos on the Booking.com website look more elegant than the actual hotel. It seemed to me a bit dated compared to other places we stayed. It could be made more appealing by being more "Greek Islands" with a little effort, if the owners want that. But we love the place.
Free airport/port transfer. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Near the paradise beach. Quiet and relaxing place. Booked 2-night non-refundable price but couldn't make the 1st night due to cancelled boat, but had been charged less than 2-night amont. Far away from town but you can get bus right in front of the hotel.
helpful staff, large rooms, free internet Location - it is in the middle of nowhere and a bus ride away from central Mykonos. Little if any cafe or food nearby.
The staff and owner George are teriffic. They do everything in their power to make your stay enjoyable. Excellent room and view to Paradise Beach. The walk back up the hill from the beach but would only be a problem if you have mobility issues. The bus into Mykonos town is reliable and at 1.4 euro good value. If you are looking for a place to relax then Paradise View fits the bill.
George's hospitality will definitely let us recommend to anyone looking to stay by Paradise, Mykonos!
Very friendly staff eager to do anything to help you. Awesome location, beautiful views and the hotel itself looked like a mediterranean villa. Everything about this hotel was great, and George (owner/operator) made our stay just fantastic. The breakfast was small - but quite nice. Not an American or English buffet style breakfast, but it was still quite good.
Perfect location, short walk to beach (10mins) but far enough away from all the beachside clubs. George is THE MAN!!!! Does everything for his guests, pick up, drop off, give info and even lent us money when we couldn't find an atm (note: no ATMs at paradise beach). Hotel was lovely and clean with a beautiful pool.
George, the owner and manager was very friendly and very helpful during our stay there. The hotel is easy to find (George will come and pick you up if you let him know your arrival details) and the bus stops right out front of the hotel. It is about 10 mins by bus to Mykonos town and buses run about twice an hour during the day. The hotel has a relaxed feel to it and has beautiful views. Not a major problem but the hotel is probably 350 metres from the beach, mainly flat except for the last 100 metres which is up the hill, not too bad but could leave some people breath-less.
Paradise View Hotel is a great spot on the island because it is a short walk to the major night life and a short ride to Mykonos town
The location was excellent, very close to paradise beach. The view from the rooms and the rooms themselves were beautiful. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Most importantly the staff really cares about their guests, service and attention is their best quality.
It is a very charming hotel. We loved our stay there. Although they state that we have free access to wifi internet in the roooms, we rarely were able to connect from the room and had to go to the Lobby in order to use it.
The hotel staff members were very hospitable and extremely attentive. The late, full service breakfast was also a great benefit. The internet connection was not strong enough for reception in the room.
flexible breakfasts 8.0am /12.00, friendly and efficient staff slightly noisy iin the concrete open aur vpassageways outside the romm between 8.00 and 10.30am (when I got up )
Even though we were above the pool area, we were still on the ground floor! Walk down the steep hill from main road with cases!
The facilities are great. The decoration is beautiful. The breakfast is the best. Very well located. Large rooms. Bathroom is new, comfortable and clean. Not all staff speak good english. Staff not especially friendly.
location - design some noise from the children playground near the hotel
The Semeli Hotel is a true find! My husband and I were very impressed with the beauty of the hotel and their outstanding staff. Our hosts were extremely warm, helpful, and efficient. They went out of their way to make us feel at home upon our arrival. We were exhausted from hours of traveling and they told us to take relax and simply take a seat at their gorgeous balcony, which overlooks the sea and town of Manorola as well as terraced balconies of grape vines and lemon trees. They gave us caviar on crackers and delicious white wine while they brought our bags to our room and processed our hotel registration. We felt completely at home and relaxed within moments. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to return some time soon!
This hotel was perfect. The location was amazing the hotel staff was incredibly friendly. It was just perfect. stay here for sure!
good service, very good position booked a double room and anded up in a twin which we weren't happy with, especially when not full.
The location is great! It's easy to get the center. Nice room, nice pool, nice breakfast and cool bar.
