Our group of six (3 couples) enjoyed our one night stay to see a show at the Civic Center. We liked: Welcoming comfy lobby Free shuttle Frig in the room Decorating in the rooms Breakfast and flavored coffee 2 complimentary drink tickets Comfy bed, linens and pillows Close parking Helpful front desk staff I'll let you know if I figure out something.
Surprised at how nice it was - everything. .the room, the staff, the cocktails, the breakfast, and the price.
Lobby has style & charm - impressive as you enter. Designed to curl up with a great book! Charming, helpful & polite staff. Fabulous food with ambiance to boot. Lovely riverfront view. Pleasantly more than we were expecting. Close walk to riverfront dining/museums/shops. Fridge/microwave a bonus in room. Would definitely recommend. As a mom, I felt safe staying w my son during a college tour visit. Occasional minor hall noise from other guests in PM, although we were directly across from ice/sodas & elevator, so not entirely surprising. Otherwise, all else was great.
The most comfortable and consistently quality stay in Peoria.
Clean I felt very safe as a woman traveling alone. Very quiet. My room faced east and only had wooden blinds that didn't shut all the way. I had the vapor lights from the parking lot across the street all night and the sun in the morning.
Staff was very friendly. Lobby was modern and comforting. Location can't be beat for anything downtown. No mini fridge in room. Parking deck remote from lobby but only temporary due to construction.
Great value using Kayak, the rate was just slightly higher than neighboring value hotels. Located conveniently in downtown Peoria, it was easily accessible. Excellent staff was friendly and efficient during check-in. Room was furnished with modern fixtures and decoration. Despite the beautiful historic quality of the hotel, nothing felt outdated or worn out. No mini fridge or microwave provided in room, and no free continental breakfast.
Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Room was too cold. Adjusting the thermostat only changed it from cold to warm air, neither of which was ideal.
