Beautiful family oriented hotel with beautiful view of either the Gulf of Mexico or the bay depending on which side you get. Excellent pool. Friendly and accomadating staff. In-hotel restaurant and bar was overpriced. Service was slow. WiFi signal was poor and SO slow. Would definitely benefit from an upgrade.
The pool was great! All the ammeneties closed at 10 pm.
We stopped for a night to visit some friends from the area and booked this last minute. We were 100% pleased with our choice. Great place for a family with children. Live band cocktails for the adults and plenty of activities for the children! Wish we could've stayed longer!
The Gulf view from the 9th floor balcony centered on the pool area was fantastic both night and day. The only thing was that the satellite was out during our stay. So no tv, but we found plenty of other things to occupy our time. It wasn't that big of deel for us.
We had an ocean view room on the six floor that was spectacular. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the Lazy river pool, hot tub's, and fire pit, ocean & beach. The beautiful white beach was a short walkway away. The restaurant wasn't bad either we had the sliders and enjoy them. The guestroom itself is nothing terribly spectacular but it was very clean and the beds and pillows or comfortable. Even though we overlooked the lazy river and the beach our room was very quiet and peaceful. I would recommend its location with a close walk to shops and numerous restaurants and nightspots Lazy river pool
Great staff, clean, and a great location !
Great location, clean, good facilities, big rooms. Says all rooms have ocean view - technically true, but somewhat misleading. Only premium rooms face the Gulf of Mexico and the beach. Other rooms face the bay with a parking lot and RV park in between.
I loved how welcomed the staff made me feel, hotel was very clean, loved all the amenities and close to everything ♡ N/A
Free breakfast, close walk to beach.
The hotel was clean and well run. Staff were friendly & helpful when required. It was always quiet at night, and the parking facilities were more than adequate. The breakfast provided was also adequate. Was difficult to find a decent restaurant in the vicinity, and the ones that were in the close vicinity were expensive or not very good. Having to leave the area meant a tollbridge had to be utilized each time, and the drive is a bit long to get anywhere. The prevailing attitude appeared to be targeting younger people rather than business types.
Everything was so close to the property . Ocean view was great . Hope to come again this summer . The breakfast facility was crowded and people would step in front of you and break line . The waffle area was the worst . One person cooking the waffles and the entire family ( 4-6 people ) would stand in a crowd around the toaster and would watch it cook . This blocked everything from others getting their food . After the waffle was toasted the groups would cheer and make a mad dash to break in front of people . Hectic everyday . We were there 4 days . Same everyday .
Had a great time! :gulf view room was great Tub broke but they fixed it quickly
The staff was great and the location was really nice.
Great hotel. One of the managers on duty "Trentacles" was on spot with his duties and was always attentive. Elevators were very slow and no AC in them but it wasn't horrible.
Everything was great, from the breakfast, to the room and the staff was fantastic. We were on our honeymoon and the staff upgraded our room for free and they even gave us champagne and a card. The breakfast was awesome, you had tons of options. Even the staff in the hallway greeted you. We always stay at the Hampton inn but this one was by far the best. If I had to complain about something it would be the elevators. They kept breaking down but they were serviced in a timely manner and it wasn't anyone's fault.
Great location, clean, friendly personnel.
Wonderful friendly staff!!! Nice hotel with nice amenities! Elevators were terribly slow, but if that is my only complaint then this was a great hotel!
Staff, rooms, location, free coffee, Pensacola Although it rained everyday, hotel and trip was good
Friendly staff, very clean lobby, and rooms. Amazing view of the gulf. Beds were very comfortable. The pool and tiki bar were closed for seasonal purposes.
Construction in front of hotel making front entrance unavailable. Also dust in garage and on autos from construction project.
The spacious rooms and the shower stall in the room the coffee machine located in the bathroom
Beautiful hotel In a great location. Good food in hotel and nearby. I felt like I could hear every door in the hotel slam. And they do slam! I could also hear a baby crying from another room. The walls are very thin so if you need quiet to sleep, this is not the hotel for you.
view kids in pool with bar
Our room was very clean. (And I am picky). Bed was perfect. Location was great. Staff was helpful. Will absolutely stay here again. Wish the out door pook was heated.
I liked that it wasonthe beach and had places to eat and get coffee within the facility. Construction noise started at 8. Also the heated pool was very cold and that was the main reason I had chosen the hotel was so we could swim.
Location was great amenities were fine. The staff was very nice. The bed was not comfortable, price too high, I was locked out of my room several times due to the card box malfunctioning on my door. Had to wait outside one the hall several times for someone to let me in and had to go to the front desk to have the issue resolved which never got resolved. It was unacceptable.
Everything. The beach the people was so friendly. Super clean amazing place I will be back with my family. I don't have nothing bad to say thanks for be so friendly an professional. I will recomend this place..
The bell captain, kristrian, was wonderful and helpful in every way. The valet guy was also friendly, along with any other staff that night! Nothing evecpt noise from a wedding on beach. But happinesss is always joyful , dancing , and lots of laughter and fun.
I like that they had a buffet style breakfast. I love you can walk to the beach and shopping areas all around .Great restaurant and bars live music was great. No complementary breakfast like it said. Sheets had holes carpet was dirty.
Beach access, clean, good beds. Received, without requesting, a complementary room upgrade. Very pleased.
We went down to the gulf to start our New Year with a small adventure. Oh, and such a nice adventure it was. We got to the hotel and checking in was a breeze, to the point we asked if there where any gulf view rooms available and low and behold. There was!! We got to the room I was clean, well appointed, and spacious. We had only booked one night but it was so nice extended our stay. In short great room, great people, and great experience. Would do it again.
We did like the convenience and location! The rooms were very outdated. Carpet was dirty in room. Probably will NOT STAY there again....
This place has a great location on the beach. Other than the AC messing up the room was great. Bed was comfy, nice pillows. Parking was available. The A/C didn't stay on at night and it got hot and the cold, then hot again.
The Ac was nice & cold, short walk to the beach The receptionist said there were no other rooms available & gave us 2 queen beds even though we paid for a King bed room.We were supposed to get a King bed but didn't, the room was cleaned in the evening & was remade with Sandy sheets on the bed. The ice bucket was never cleaned or poured out.
Location, right on the beach. Service, we waited an hr to get checked in because there was a mix up with our reservations, even though we request a king bed and paid the upgrade to get a beach view, ended up with a standard room with 2 queen size beds (since there not any others available). Also not very clean, was once of the poorest looking Hiltons I have been too in a while.
Location is about all it has going for it Smell was bad, daughter crawled on the floor and knees and feet completely black shower was dirty. Will not be back, so bad left after first night and wasnt able to get money back went to next door hotel.
Close to Beach Needed serious cleaning. We left early because it was uncomfortable.
It was really close to the beach. They had plenty of places that was walking distance so that was a plus. Had a good stay over all. The room was a little dirty. But it didn't have a bad smell which was good.
Room was nice, clean and comfortable.Staff was friendly and accomodating.
All was well
It was an overall good experience. Room was beach view for a very descent price and it was quiet. Staff was good on check in and the beds were nice. The water temperature was horrible didn't get hot and only stayed warm for like 3-5 mins.
It was really nice, I will stay there again
It was right on the beach. The only thing that would have made it better is a boardwalk taking you closer to the shore. Walking in the sand was hard on older legs. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I liked all the chairs that were provided outside the rooms. That made it easier to dry towels and swimsuits. I will definitely go back. The rooms felt damp which I attribute to the air conditioner because it wasn't that humid out.
The breakfast was awesome. The mattress and pillows were very nice. The view was very good. The staff was helpful and friendly especially Belinda. The lo o ng walk to the beach.
We had an inland room but could see the ocean from the door. The room was basic but quiet and clean with a flat screen TV. Large breakfast room with patio with a beach view. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is economical and within walking distance of excellent restaurants and shopping. Was very handy to walk from the hotel directly onto the beach.
Loved the fact this hotel was right on the beach! We watched the sunset and sunrise. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was right and my family had a great stay!
Bathrooms were very dingy but the beds were comfortable.
The location was perfect. Right on the beach, decent accommodations for the price. The hallways are loud and the sound travels easily. It was odd having a suite and the bed was right when you walk in the door as opposed to a cushion/buffer by having the bed in the back. That made for a loud night of sleep. But all in all not bad.
Close to the water, comfortable beds and very clean. The breakfast set up and selection was great. The room had a very odd set up with the seating area in front,of the rest room instead of the bar area, and you were unable to see either t.v. unless you were sitting on a bed.
Great location for a great price!
Close drive to beach. Facilities in good repair. Clean but old. Friendly staff. Too expensive for an older hotel. Phone didn't work.
Location Dirty room, dirty pool, fat people and latinos
Better than the last time we stayed. They are in the process of remodeling their rooms so our room was cleaner than it was on our last stay here. They should have updated the mattresses in the room when they remodeled. Their still doing some remodeling, therefore the noise woke me.
The location was the only positive aspect of this hotel. The room was not very clean it had an odd odor as well, floors were gritty, not many toiletries available.
Bathroom door does not close, exhaust does not work, noise from other room very audible
Great place nothing
The hotel is nicely located directly on the beachfront: you walk out the back, go about a hundred feet over a causeway, and you are on the beach, steps away from beautiful Bay water. Breakfast is nice--nothing exceptional, but as good or better than most mid-range hotels, with hot food that is fresh and not greasy. The rooms are clean and neat, and the hotel is laid out so that all of them have beachfront views and balconies. If you leave your balcony door open at night, you can nod off to the restful sound of the waves breaking on the shingle. A nice escape, and a taste of what it's like to live the life of the wealthy retiree... Alas, I had to come back to reality after only two days!
Location. Large room (412) great view!. What I did not like was the cleaning chemical smell of Pine-sol. Appreciate the cleaning but the smell was overpowering Location. Large room (412) great view!,
Place was great will return here for sure.
Convenient to the airport Friendly staff Good breakfast I reserved a king room but ended up with a double queen that was also a pet friendly room ,I was not traveling with pets. I turned down a queen room for a cheaper rate because I wanted a king bed. This room cost the same as the king ,I reserved thru hotels.com which was non refundable the manager did comp us a couple of drinks at the bar. I think I'll stay somewhere else next time
Easy check in Pleasant staff Clean comfortable room Breakfast buffet No one at the counter to check out early in the morning (6:00 am) Just had to drop the key cards on the desk and go didn't have time to wait . I can see a potential problem with that. Maybe put a secure box there if there won't be anyone at the desk at that time
We loved the modern look of the rooms.
Good location Cockroaches in bathroom
I hadn't had that good night's sleep in a long time. I have arthritis. In the morning I wasn't stiff or sore and felt well rested. Location was confusing. A lot going on at the same place.
Nothing!! Not one thing. The property was rundown and the clints were low life drug users that had me up looking out at my car all night!! They kept walking around outside talking loud and talking bad language.
I can't complain. My room was clean and stocked. Looked just like the picture online.
The towels were clean. The roaches that met us inside the door, the dirty unchanged sheets, the dirty bathtub, the filthy, crusted baseboard. I took pictures of the filthy bathroom and am sending them to the corporate office to ask if anyone there would spend the night in this room.
Pleasantly surprised! Found this deal online. Very close to restaurants (you can walk). We had a king bed (comfy) microwave, and fridge. I will definitely come back! Could update the bathroom.
It was extremely loud, we were placed in a room with no cable and when asked to correct the situation they said "ohhh I forgot we weren't suppose to book anyone in this room." The room wasn't very well cleaned and do to construction at the hotel it was difficult to park and too loud to rest. Would not stay there again.
All outside rooms. Old hotel needs updating. Too expensive for what was there
Staff very nice and accomadating . Beds very soft and comfortable, all your needs while a short stay. I would stay again and recommend if anyone is visiting Fort Myers.Loved the home style patio with rocking chairs made it feel more homier. Breakfast is average but standard for most free breakfast at hotels.need more fruit and meat?
Not too far from the beach Hotel needs an update
The location is convenient, the beds were comfortable Booked 7 nights for vacation. 5 nights and 4 rooms later ... The first room was very damp and smelled like mildew. It had a broken down dehumidifier in the corner of the closet. On day 2 I moved to a nicer room, but the TV didn't work. The maintenance guy got it working (the maids apparently pull the wires and the electrical splitter ends up half unplugged). A 2nd visit from maintenance got the cable TV working (it too had wires that had been pulled out). Both rooms had bathroom doors that were physically larger than the door holes, so they could not. E closed. Don't expect any privacy when using the bathroom! After 3 nights in room #2 the hotel asked me to move again to avoid expected noise (the cable company was rewiring a portion of the hotel since the cable didn't work.) They forgot to save me a room, so when I came back at the end of the day they didn't have any more king beds available. The first room they gave me had a non-working desk lamp. They gave me the next room over, but its bedside lamp didn't work. (My whole vacation was beach and a safe comfortable place to read - so a working lamp didn't seem to much to ask for.) When I went back to the lobby I saw the Operations Manager, Matt, who oversaw several hotels for one owner. He tried switching light bulbs on the desk lamp in the first room but that didn't work. Then we tried replacing bulbs in the 2nd room. That worked. The tv didn't work - but I knew how to fix it based on the earlier room. After he left I realized that there was a puddle in the bathroom coming from a leak in the ceiling. I went back to the lobby to ask to be moved again the next day. On morning 5, Matt moved me to the America's Best Inn next door, which he manages and which had just been renovated. That room was nice until I found the bedbugs.... I didn't expect the Baymont Inn to be the Four Seasons, but I did expect a safe and comfortable place to stay. Shame on the owners and on Wyndham for such poor management.
Clean new remodeled room good for 1 night pass through stay Bathroom could be cleaner
Liked the Naval air musuam
Close to freeway, bathrooms and room clean, staff friendly. If staying more than one night, the beds are hard and not comfortable, unless you like hard beds. Also our room had a leak coming from second floor bath, so the carpet outside our bathroom was soaked everyday. Nothing we couldn't live with and hopefully getting fixed.
The bed was nice and the TV worked properly The room was dirty and some aspects were dated and needed replacing
Clean, nice staff, nice breakfast, close from the place we were goin to!
The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They even provided a nice continental breakfast. The staff was helpful if a guest did not know how t d something NA
The Blue Angel Inn looked like it was brand new. Everything was shiny and clean. The room was roomy enough for the 2 of us and the carpet looked like we were the first to walk on it. The bathroom was very nice if a tad small, but plenty of counter space for both of us. Bed and linens were very comfortable.
Price - great value. Location - could walk to event center across the street and walk to historic downtown & waterfront. Train at 2:30 AM - very loud! Room temperature swung wildly from oven to meat locker. Location (two-edge sword) - an event I did not attend meant intrusive security in the parking lot and loud music late into the night.
The room was very nice. Clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The walls were a little thin and the TV remote didn't work.
It has a historical feel mixed with a hotel. It was very beautiful and clean in. however the room service forgot to put our breakfast in. We mainly went to this hotel for the room service and history and we did not get it. After two hours we called and they told us they forgot to put it
The hotel was in a great location and fundamentally was a nice facility. Room was a bit small for the price; bed was comfortable We had an obnoxious and seemingly intoxicated neighbor on the 7th floor yelling at his female roommate that made the measly 5 hours of sleep we needed to get seem to be a lot compared to what we did get - none. Two complaints filed with the front desk merely resulted in a delayed yelling and by 3 a.m. the same man simply talking and we could still hear him through the wall. Unacceptable for a $140.00+ a night room.
Historic site with style with efficient caring staff. Nothing not like about the treatment or amenities, everything was fine.
Historic & Elegant hotel with a downhome feeling. Just the place for relaxing. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. I wish the windows on the revolving door were cleaner, and the windows overhead the inside breeze view were cleaner so you could enjoy the sun beaming through clean windows. But even with that it was beautiful.
Room well furnished. The old train station aspect was charming. The breakfast room was nice and the food was reasonably priced. Plenty of parking. Convenient to highways and to the beach highway. The trains going by at night were very loud. The bathroom was quite small.
We enjoyed our stay very much , the staff was very professional, and helpful, the rooms very nice !! I rate it a great place to stay AAAAAAA+++++++ I only wish they had a laundry room
Loved the attention to detail.
This is a very nice property that is clean and comfortable.
Very clean hotel with a nice view of the bay. It was within a close proximity to many nice restaurants. Only a 10 minute drive to the beach. Pool wasn't very nice. Decent.
The manager on duty my check out date was so accommodating. ( I wish I would have gotten her name.) My flight was rescheduled for a later time than expected due to a last minute delay. Instead of waiting at the airport for 4 hours, she allowed me to stay at the hotel for a few hours later than my original check out time. She did not have to do that but it was much appreciated. I WILL BE BACK!
Room was amazing, especially the bathroom. Walk in shower and upscale everything. One of the nicest places I've ever stayed.
Clean, I only needed a night stay while traveling for work. Very clean, very nice people and decent breakfast. Comfortable bed and spacious room.
The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious. The food served for breakfast was inedible.
Clean and modern rooms, large bathroom, pretty good breakfast, and the pool was nice and clean. Also the staff was friendly. Charged $80 more then listed from hidden fees.
The location wasn't too far from anything. The beach was a nice 20 minute drive along the bay. Downtown was a 10 minute or less drive. The breakfast was good. The staff was really nice and friendly. The lady at the front desk even have us some air freshener b/c the room had a little stuffy smell. We would stay again. The beds were hard. The double queen beds was more like two full size beds. Although the hotel is on the bay, you can not see it from any of the rooms.
Clean room and great breakfast Too many kids in the pool.
We'd mistakenly arrived at the wrong Quality Inn and the receptionist was accommodating and understanding. She called all the other Quality Inns in the area to find the one we had booked.Upon arriving at the correct motel the receptionist there again proved helpful and changed our rooms to a ground floor for easier access.
Location right next to I-10, clean hotel, continental breakfast, non-smoking room. Good hotel, perfect for long way drivers. The guy in the front desk was not as nice as expected in a hotel. He didn't know that a fast food restaurant across the street was open at some time of night and we had to discover it by ourselves. He needs to know more about the hotel surroundings.
The location was awesome giving us access to more than just the beach. We had our boat and had no issue parking onsite. The hotel had an entertainment area with pool tables and other activities. All in all we were very pleased.
Big rooms, comfortable bed, balconies were a nice touch, staff very courteous and friendly. No elevator, loooong hallways, idiots setting off fireworks at 1:00 AM.
The staff was very friendly and this hotel is in a very safe environment. Pensacola beach is only 16 miles away. I'll definitely be coming back
I liked the location and comparatively reasonable rates. Some of the staff were friendly, although most unresponsive to problems incurred. Waited for a long while to check in (check-in process took 35 minutes+), even after calling for reservations several weeks in advance. The front desk was understaffed, while knowing that it was a big booking day (Blue Angels Performance). When I got to my room, I found obvious urine on the seat of the bathroom stool. Went to the phone to call the front desk, and the phone didn't work. Had to walk down to the front desk to tell them of the problems, and had to wait in line another half hour simply to be told that "Sorry, we are very busy and will put your needs on the long list." And yet, I was a paying customer who spent 10 hours driving, and just wanted to use the bathroom in the room I had already paid for. Left for four hours, and upon my return these items were fixed. When I pulled down the bedspread to sleep, it appeared that the sheets had not been changed ( wrinkled in a bunch near the center of the bed). Fortunately, it was a double room, so I was able to sleep in the other bed which didn't look so bad. Then the neighbors with multiple children staying in their room started in. They were loud and inconsiderate. I walked back to the front desk and politely requested a room change, and was told they had none left. Once again the only real response I received was the typical " Sorry" which by this time began to sound like "Your tough luck". Went back into my room to take a long awaited shower. looked up to see black mold on the bathroom ceiling.Where I come from, this is considered quite detrimental to a person's health. But what could I do? They were fully booked as were all other hotels in the area because of the air show. So I grab a towel for the towel rack, and a big ole cockroach jumps out. I scream, throw the towel to the floor and kill the insect. This time, I tried calling the front desk to at least have the smashed insect removed, but no one answered the phone. So. I went down the next day to get more towels and report the incident. The front desk attendant went back to the back three times, bringing our washcloths, bath mats, and hand towels for me to use after a shower. I explained that I was in need of BATH towels and none of the items he was bringing out would work. He calls someone else who disappears into the laundry room for about 5 min. and finally brings out two bath towels. Another insincere "Sorry" followed. By this time I'm tired, aggravated, and just want a shower Went back to the room, showered, dried my hair, etc., then comes the front desk guy knocking on the door with the towels I had requested over an hour before. It didn't end there, either! The last night of my four night stay, the keys didn't work leaving me to carry the bags I had with me all the way to the front desk. I commented to the new front desk attendant that incidents were occurring every day, and this was supposed to be a leisurely vacation for me. She told me she would report this to a manager. Never heard from on.
Room was quite nice, had very comfy sheets and the shower was even better! Water temperature was everything and more, breakfast wasn't as bad what you would think either. Overall my stay was worth the money. The sink knob was broken when I came in. Other than that, good hotel and nice staff.
Good location and fair price. Very friendly staff
Good price Bed was very used, room was musty and didn't get cleaned
Old and outdated rooms. Killed a brown recluse spider in bathroom
I liked the location of the hotel very much so and the guy who works the night is very nice and helpful. The bed was very uncomfortable and even talked to the front desk about it, they seemed to not care. She was rude and kept treating us like we were not intelligent to use the bed properly.
Comfortable and clean/modern bathroom with hot water for a nice relaxing shower to then rest plus internet worked like a charm A little expensive but it's a nice hotel
