Location was good. The front desk staff is the worst I've ever experienced in all of Thailand. I would move to a different hotel but I already paid for my stay and they refused to offer any refund. There has been no Wifi in entire hotel for 4 days and I've complained to front desk as well as many other guests who all complain of no internet but front desk staff tell all customer that internet is working when they know it is not!! I had hotel engineer come to my room to try and fix the problem, and talk to three other hotel guests on my floor who are also without internet, the front desk tell them the internet is working when they know it is not, they just LIE to hotel guest's face for 4 days now. The engineer test the routers in my building and he tell me two routers are not working. It was obvious the two routers needed to be replaced but engineer told me hotel manager refused to buy new router despite knowing the problem of numerous hotel guests complaining about no internet access! All the while, the hotel staff has had internet access for the last 4 days as I've seen them use computers in the lobby. If internet access is important or staff/management telling the truth, I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff & manager (Anutsara Yoyyangthong) of this hotel are nothing but LIARS!
How close it was to everything Bed was rock hard but other hotels in Thailand at this price point had the same rock hard beds.

Very well trained and friendly staff. Hard Rock Cafe next door. Expensive taxi fares from touts at the hotel entrance. Double the normal price.
The room was nice. Service was horrendous... just shockingly bad all the way... from the time we checked in... whoever is the GM of this hotel should be ashamed. Expect much more of a Marriott chain.

The location is great, near patong beach about around 2mins from the hotel. The staff are helpful in our needs. The location of where the buffet breakfast is. Not conducive enough for a dining area. The fruits are not fresh esp the banana.
The royal suite room was very spacious and clean. Basic facilities provided. Simple but good buffet breakfast (included with room). No hassle during check out. Friendly staff. No complaints for the price I paid for the stay.

The hotel staff particularly Reception staff are very friendly and help-ful.Buffet Breakfast spread is good.Hotel situated close to Patang beach and Banga road and choice of eateries close by. Hotel design looks impressive and futuristic but the rooms are small and not well appointed.There is little place for placing our luggage and belongings,The cots and beds are just adequqte and not to our liking.Rooms decor and furnishing lacks cosyness and the feeling of intimacy.
Spend an extra $10 and stay somewhere much nicer. There is mold everywhere. Air conditioning sounds like it had a rat in it. Towels are rolled to hide the fact that they don't wash them in between guests. Windows and balacony door aren't properly sealed so bugs and noise get in. There were kids having sex in the pool at 4am and everyone could hear them. A room near me yell shut to them.

Good location, quite good value for money, 3 swimming pools, friendly staff,every evening was a live music Not esspecially good breakfast,some rooms smells because of moisture, hotel needs refit, TV it is a disaster (very old small tv sets, luck of channels and most of them snowing), reception desk suggested me to pay in advance for whole stay,the pillows were not enough soft for me

Great location close to everything. Pool's were fantastic and food was just a good. Cold water for a cple of mornings, rude reception at check in after many hours of travel to get there (room wasnt ready).

The service staff were firendly, professional and courteous at all times - the gardeners, cleaners and waiting staff - excellent! I would have liked to have at least 1 fluent English speaking staff member behind the information desk at peak times. Asking questions and not having anyone to refer these to became frustrating by the end of the trip. This service should be provided considering the vast majority of your customers are English speaking. The service staff seemed to speak better English than the desk staff at times.
Patong merlin is very close to patong beach and bars and shopping centers. and they have big 3 pools The worst thing is that they don't care their hotel condition and customer. front dest is very old and staff is not friendly.. and there are manymany bugs that you can find in the old books on the every floor and bed. I don't want to stay nolonger there but I booked as nonfundable.. t_t.
As a budget hotel, buffet breakfast is quite good which is better than expectations. Staff is nice and helpful. Location is excellent. We stay in superior room which situated in the old wing. The decor of the room is very old which is totally different from the pic on the website, its likely that the pic are all taken from the new wing. Also, no lift in the old wing.
The staff of the hotel is helpful and cheerful... the buffet breakfast is ok We stayed in the old wing of the hotel - the room is old fashioned with a tiny balcony... we found a lot of ants in the room... and the room key card didn't work sometimes...
The hotel was fantastic value for money. We stayed in a standard double room which had everything we needed and included an amazing buffet breakfast all for 1000 baht a night. The hotel staff were very friendly and have a great selection of cheap cocktails And food by the pool. The location was really good too as it is set back from the road so it is quiet but only a 5-10 minute walk from the beach and Bangla road. Very impressed overall.
The room in the new wings was nice. The staff name Ae was very rude and thumbs up to him that he actually make me cry upon my arrival. Their communication system was so bad and poor. Have a bad experience with the staff and the service. More worst after my check out, on my way to hotel the owner itself call us to inform that we have not paid the bill when actually we have settle the payment the day before we checkout. We was shock by the call!!
It was the cleanliness of the room that stood out most! The room was big enough, hence there was no feeling of claustrophobia. The housekeeping staff, reception, bell boys, & the restaurant staff always wore a smile on their face & made attempts to chat with us. This gestures made us feel like we were in a home. The hotel is approx 5m walk to Patong Beach, Bangla Road & the nearby shopping centre as well as street shopping.Very conveniently located, so that you only need to walk wherever you go. The massage parlours located outside the hotel were awesome too. The hotel has a passage leading to the main lobby.It is not located on the road which means there is some sort of privacy. I highly recommend this 3star hotel. Value for $$. Thank You I asked the manager for an iron. Her reply was negative & she made me feel that it was an out of the world request!! Upon check out, she was quite pleasant, however, she seem agitated & frustrated over the ringing of the phone & any interruption caused. Being a manager, she does not project herself well in front of her staff, not to mention the Guests!! The website suggested we had bathrobe & slippers in the room. They weren't there. Was informed by the staff that my room category does not include these. Due to this, I did not bring my own slippers as I normally do. I do not like walking barefoot in any hotel room. Please ensure that we get what is clearly suggested in the webiste. Thank You
the pool , access to wifi ,the location and the quiet atmosphere yes, house keeping was bad . the beds were not clean and nor were the bathrooms.
Jeg liker at det ligger sentralt og nære stranden. Veldig fornøyd med personalet og servicen på hotellet samt at maten i hotellet var veldig god.
