Fordeler: Beautiful views, very friendly staff, peaceful

Fordeler: Everything was perfect, we loved how the staff was always taking care of every little detail. Room was huge and we had a lot of privacy. Massages were really good. We are definitely coming back.

Fordeler: Best part of this hotel is the comfy lounge beds at the rooms, and in front of the beach. The staff tried hard, although they spoke no english which was frustrating for a hotel this expensive. Rooms are a bit small, and was not impressed with the bathroom (we also had ants daily). Breakfast was good, and they brought nice little snacks throughout the day. Food was fairly priced as well. Beautiful beach. It's a 10 minute bumpy tuk tuk ride to Mancora town (cost 10 sole) so just know that going in. Felt it was a bit too expensive for what you get, not sure if we would stay again. Great wifi.

Ulemper: Bathroom was not enclosed, so you could hear your partner. Not great when I got sick from eating in downtown mancora... Staff didn't speak English.

Fordeler: The food, served from 12.00 pm to 10.00 pm, was absolutely delicious and served everywhere you want. Staff very attentive. Located directly at the beach...we had wonderful relaxing days.

Fordeler: The room was incredible, everything was very clean and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks from their restuarant was delicious. Would definitely reccomend and will be coming back.

Fordeler: The staff were really friendly for the duration of our stay, the room was clean with a comfortable bed and a hot shower! Breakfast was basic but nice and the same as you get in most places (eggs, bread, butter, jam, juice and tea and coffee). The pool is small but it’s a great spot to chill out or get some sun and the WiFi works everywhere.

Ulemper: Nothing to criticise!

Fordeler: The couple who run the place are so friendly and welcoming, they greeted us with a smile and told us that while we are here we should treat this place like home.

Ulemper: There are a lot of mosquitos, it's true for everywhere in mancora, but there are no mosquito nets here.

Fordeler: Our stay at Puerto Bamboo was great! We loved everything about this place: extremly friendly owners, very good wifi, hot showers, cleanliness of the room, close to the beach. We arrived at 5 am in the morning from Cuenca and the owner was waiting for us, so we could check in and our room was ready. I highly recommend this place! Would come back for sure.

Fordeler: Very nice atmosphere and such a warm welcome. One of us was sick and they helped with what medicine to buy and where to get it. Lovely rooms and nice pool. Very clean and good breakfast, every day something different. Nice fan to cool the room. Beach and best kitesurfing school in town just around the corner. You will definitely enjoy your stay here!

Fordeler: Really enjoyed my stay at Puerto Bamboo. Lovely hosts who went out of their way to help and provide advice with anything I needed. Nice comfortable room and bed with hot shower. Also pool area was perfect to chill out. Breakfast was good too.

Fordeler: Puerto Bamboo is a lovely little place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I stayed in the 4 bedroom dorm and it was spotless and super spacious.

Fordeler: Wonderful accomodation! Clean, modern, nice decor, 10min walk to the beach, friendly stuff. The first room in which we stayed also had mosquito net and a locker which is always a positive! Thank you.

Fordeler: It is very quiet, they have the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in, also the pillows were amazing. Breakfast was included, we had every day a different style of eggs. Because my friend is vegetarian, we also became fruits. This was very nice. Drinking water is free. The hotel and room is very clean. Wifi was also good. I would recommand this place

Ulemper: The only thing i didn‘t like was the very low water pressure.

Fordeler: Great stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I arrived before check in and they made me coffee and let me keep my bags there while exploring. I also left after check in and they let me keep bags there and come and go as I pleased. Very friendly, clean, and in a good location. Very close to the beach and to Main Street Mancora. Breakfast was basic but good..scrambled eggs, bread, coffee.

Ulemper: Nothing.

Fordeler: Relaxing getaway - the pool and facilities were beautiful!! Breakfast included fruit salad, juice, eggs and bread - included! Friendly staff and quiet at night :)

Fordeler: We enjoyed a fantastic stay here. The bungalows are set in a beautiful garden. The place is close to the beach and close enough to local amenities, but without the hustle and bustle. I would recommend this place for families. My daughter loved it. We were served a different breakfast everyday with a good choice. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely return to this place.

Ulemper: We enjoyed everything.

Fordeler: I’ve stayed there for 11 nights at the end of my travels in Peru and absolutely loved it. Location is perfect (2 minutes to beach, main road; ie restaurants and 5 minutes to Yoga). Bungalows are very clean, spacious and well equipped. Garden/pool perfect to hang around. Breakfast was good as well. Vanessa & team were very friendly and helpful. Thanks so much!

Fordeler: Loved the vibe, it was very relaxing and spacious.

Ulemper: almost anything, only my sister complained about one of the cats.

Fordeler: It is a nice bungalow with a porch with chairs and a hammock. A good breakfast with every day something different. It is a bitbaway from the noisy center. It is a shame that we had a group of brasilian surf kids above our room and they were not so quiet.

Ulemper: When we arrived wifi was not working. We asked why and they said that a truck had broken a cable and it would be alright the next morning. We stayed three nights and days but we never had wifi. The shower is very hot and difficult to regulate.

Fordeler: PERFECT!!! Great location, right on the beach, friendliest staff, the rooms were big and clean.

Fordeler: Beautiful location- right on the beach- within walking distance of shops, restaurants, laundry etc. surf break right in front of resort as well as kitesurfing and any beach activity. Would definitely return

Ulemper: Room was very basic, missed basics for a 3 star hotel from my point of view like spots where to dry clothes, maybe a safe. There were holes in the safety net against mosquitos in the toilet that could be fixed in 5 minutes. The door had free space to the ground and mosquitos entered as well as light as they did not turn off the lights in the floor by night, very annoying. We put towels there to avoid light and mosquitos to come inside.

Fordeler: Great view, clean rooms, one particularly lovely staff. Great location on the beach.

Ulemper: One night the bathroom self-locked and we couldn't open it despite asking staff. It was re-opened in the morning. My partner is vegetarian and found ham in her eggs - staff apologised. Nothing offered or suggested as compensation. Noisy party at the bar 2 doors down especially on the Sat night

Fordeler: I reserved the room for my mom and grandma, my grandma is 79 yo and I was afraid she wasn't gonna fell comfortable. She said that was the most amazing experience she ever had, the room, the view, the staff, the place, the beach, the location. I asked the staff to organize for me some flowers and a birthday card for my mom, she was very happy and she is coming back with the whole family. I'm in miami now and I'm definitely going with some friends next year.

Fordeler: Great location, clean room.

Ulemper: Breakfast options a bit limited. Shame no pool but right on beach.

Fordeler: Rooms in front of the see very nice and spacious. View extraordinary. Its in the city center and you can reach restaurants and bars in less then 1 minute.

Ulemper: Shower should mi renovated, change between cold and warm very quickly.

Fordeler: The facilities were nice and comfortable enough. The view is really nice. It’s a quiet place close to everything.

Fordeler: Honestly one of my favourite hotels in the world and I have travelled a lot. We come here a few times a year and I never get tired of the view and the hotel itself. This time we came for a mini honeymoon and they went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The staff are so attentive and friendly they are a key element in ensuring you have a great stay. The rooms are so comfortable. It's a little slice of paradise.

Fordeler: Loved the jacuzzi, pool, and the views of the beach. Rooms and service in general were also excellent

Fordeler: Accommodation was superb. Good and variety of choices at restaurant; buffet breakfast included in rate. The best was the kindness of personnel in charge of service: chamber personnel, restaurant personnel and administrative personnel. Guests are treated really well!!

Fordeler: This is the most wonderful and amazing place to stay, it's like paradise. It's right on a long sandy beach, white sands, blue sea, palm trees waving. Great pool, wonderful staff and a very creative chef!

Fordeler: Amazing location and very relaxing. The breakfast is excellend compared to other places we’ve stayed in Mancora. Everything is super comfortable and gives you a lux holiday feel.

Fordeler: Everything exceeded my expectation! The staff was amazing, the hotel was in perfect shape, the beach was always gorgeous and the location was great.

Ulemper: Nothing, everything was great!

Fordeler: Good quiet location on a great stretch of palm tree lined beach - and you could easily get a tuk tuk into Mancora if you wanted more action! Great yoga every morning in hotel next door Kichic - was a lovely added bonus !

Ulemper: The only complaint was the sea had a lot of rocks directly in front of the hotel- you had to walk a bit further away to avoid the rocks .

Fordeler: The crew (specially Juri and Armando but really all) were great! We went through a medical issue and they have taken extraordinary steps to help us. The food was great at good prices, and the hotel and location are just beautiful. I have nothing bad to say. Great for couples that looks for some real vacation in Peru

Fordeler: Comfy clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful setting. The owner was so lovely and friendly, this was the perfect base for a relaxing stay in Mancora

Fordeler: Stedet lå et stykke unna sentrum, noe som Passet oss bra. Da vi kom ble vi møtt med drikke og et lite stukket sjokolade. Hyggelig. I løpet av dagene vi var der fikk vi hver dag forfriskninger ved basseng kanten, og tilgang til te og kaffe hver ettermiddag. Personalet var svært imøtekommende og servicebevisst. Siste dagen fikk vi beholde rommet til etter utsjekking, noe vi satte stor pris på.

Fordeler: The food was excellent, great clean location on the beach, 5 minute motor taxi to the plaza

Ulemper: Nothing major the pool would have been more enjoyable if it was heated

Fordeler: Location, the whole staff are polite.

Ulemper: Internet is very weak. Keeps cutting out.

Fordeler: Suites Del Mar is one of my favorite Hotel in Máncora I usually stay there 3 or 4 times every year. Staff is always polite and will take care of you if you need something. Special thanks to Edison and Maria Hope to see you guys soon.

Ulemper: Internet, comes and go but looks like is on the whole town this issue.

Fordeler: The breakfast was a little disappointing despite talented kitchen staff. The selection was limited with very little day-by-day change.

Ulemper: The place is set up for evening outdoor movies which no one ever attends so I think better use could be made of the grounds. The grass around the swimming pool was long and worn out in places which gave the area a bit of a run down look - maybe they should re-landscape with another surface? Please don't schedule noisy construction for the early morning if you don't want to upset your guests.

Fordeler: Location and quality of the room is good.

Ulemper: Quality of food is mixed, some is very good, others is poor. It was a challenge getting the cup of tea on an evening because the staff had to put a kettle on! Food in restaurant is relatively over priced in comparison to quality and other establishments. They prices are not bad but the either the quantity of quality should be increased. Similar standards else is 20% cheaper! Also WiFi infrastructure is poor and staff did not know how to resolve. No access to Internet for 4 days. Ended up fixing the problem myself, but again it failed after 1 day.

Fordeler: The bed was gorgeous and the furniture in general was great. It was super calm and peaceful. The staff were very welcoming and made me feel like a person rather than just another guest. Such a stylish place.

Fordeler: Bed was comfy, mosquito net provided, that it was Eco. Staff super friendly

Ulemper: Not being able to lock my room when I was inside it. But I felt safe.

Fordeler: Wonderful staff, off the busy streets, easy to come and go, really close to the beach! Loved the project and locally sourced building materials!

Fordeler: Everything.

Ulemper: Had to leave.

Fordeler: The breakfast was great, we loved the homemade bread, and the jam was so tasty. The staff were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. They have their phone numbers on the fridge so if you can’t see them you can message them any questions. Room was lovely, very bright and airy with a nice balcony. The swimming pool was kept clean and was perfect to relax in.

Ulemper: There was building work going on when we were there, but it didn’t really impact our stay as it was done within reasonable hours and they gave us a room upgrade to apologise for the inconvenience.

Fordeler: A wonderfully designed hotel. A serene, calming vibe that really lets you sleep well at night. Located walking distance to all you need. The staff were terrific and the breakfast was delicious.

Fordeler: The room was amazing and had all the things I needed. The breakfast was delicious and staff at the lodge were very helpful with recommendations. I felt very relaxed whilst staying at the eco lodge.

Ulemper: Was a few minutes walk from the Main Street so I would consider a little dangerous at night walking back to the property alone.

Fordeler: Friendly staff, right by the beach and excellent food in the restaurant

Ulemper: Some rust, need constant maintenance

Fordeler: Stunning unspoiled views, quiet beaches, spacious and creatively designed rooms, impeccably maintained hotel grounds/pool/restaurant and five star welcoming vibe. Expect a warm welcome from Pedro and the entire staff. Can’t compliment this place enough. The most relaxed I’ve felt in years. Highly recommend the beachside suite. Worth every penny and then some. Hope to come back here one day!!!

Ulemper: the rooms are a bit outdated, especially the bathroom. Found a big cockroach under our son's bed on our last evening. Restaurant of the hotel is quite expensive compared to the quality and taste of the food.

Ulemper: The mattress, the box springs is actually a concrete frame, the mattresses are placed on top of this base. For me was very hard and I get up with back pain every morning.

Ulemper: No comment. Everything was very good!!

Fordeler: We didn’t like much about our experience at all.

Ulemper: The breakfast is awful. Providing powdered coffee for a hotel at this price is a joke. The handling of a power outage in which they refused to turn generators on for 3 hours in the morning leaving all guests unable to shower, use a toilet, or have any comfort. This lasted over 24 hours and they tried to cut the generators 3 times and I had to argue with the front desk each time. Secondly, the generators only powered water pumps and a few lights, the rooms were basically unusable and we had to be moved because we were right next to the loud generator. The other hotels on the beach had generators large enough to power all the lights, not just the few in the walk way. The place was uninhabitable for 1/3 our stay, but they kept telling us 1 hr. I’m about to check out now, the only way they can redeem themselves is by offering a refund for the missierable and poorly handled night. One of the worst experiences at any hotel ever.

Fordeler: The coffee was great and the cleanliness and service were very good! People are friendly and kind. The view from the dining room is wonderful.

Ulemper: The American breakfast includes bread that can be of different kinds to have more choice. I wished they serve freshly squeezed orange juice as part of the American breakfast.

Fordeler: Friendliest staff ever, delicious food at restaurant, loved the pools so cozy and cute.....

Ulemper: Stayed for 4 days 3 nights and towels were not changed, lack of family activities inside hotel and lack of beachside seating!!

Ulemper: Air conditioning in the rooms.

Fordeler: The staff is very friendly and is always willing to make of your stay a quiet and smooth experience

Ulemper: They do not provide towels for the pool or the sea.

Fordeler: It was close to the other hotel we luckily could stay at.

Ulemper: Where to start. One characteristic sums it up: the service is terrible. When we came here, we were excited. Even though no one at the hotel responded to our earlier messages, we were ready to relax here after weeks of traveling and hiking. But we soon found out what the hotel was about. The lunch we had when we arrived, was disgusting. But we kept our hopes up for dinner. However, dinner never came. Soon after lunch, my girlfriend started feeling unwell, after which at around 22.30 everything started coming out. A bad case of food poisoning. There was no one at the reception to help us, so I found a janitor in the kitchen to help us. With a tuktuk we went to the closest hospital and stayed there for the majority of the night. No one was as the reception when we returned either. The next morning, I had to go to the reception. No one came to check on us. No apologies were ever offered by the hotel. On the contrary, the hotel didn’t believe it was food poisoning. Even though the doctors at the hospital confirmed this. We decided to leave for another hotel. After waiting for hours, we finally got part of our money back. Because we had already spent a night at the hotel (that we were in the hospital for the most part, didn’t seem to matter). And we also were asked to pay for the food that gave my girlfriend food poisoning. If not that, then at least we had to pay for the water that my girlfriend used to wash the vomit out of her mouth. Only after repeated negotiations, they accepted to pay our hospital bills. But only to be rid of us. They insisted it could not be food poisoning and that this never happened before. A quick look at the reviews shows this already happened earlier this year, with the same outcome. This hotel is scandalous. It should not be open for business and the receptionist should find another line of work, in which she should not interact with other people. We have never been treated like this. I wish booking.

Fordeler: It's a great accomodation! One minute walk to the beach, good breakfast and the staff is super friendly. Also, the room was very clean. We felt very comfortable and could have easily spent a couple months there ;-) !

Fordeler: Hot shower, air conditioned room, and parking for our car. Good breakfast. Very nice staff. Near everything, walking distance.

Ulemper: WiFi on the second level didn’t work at all. In room 13 WiFi didn’t connect to either usernames, first floor had better WiFi.

Ulemper: there were dogs barking outsidenof the place for a long time which kept me awake.

Fordeler: The owners and the staff have been helpful with an arrangement of taxi and attending various requests. Hotel is located within a 5 min walk from the beach. Selection of food for breakfast was ok.

Ulemper: Hotel is located between a dusty road and wet land, both are quite depressing. Apparently, due to security, the entrance gates are always closed and we had to wait for someone to open. Breakfast starts late at 8:30, which is not very convenient. The AC in our room was blowing straight on one of us.

Fordeler: We had a very nice stay. The hammocks, palm trees, and peace and quiet were great, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, shower was hot, and my daughter loved the pool and the cats. Breakfast was good and we appreciated the laundry service.

Fordeler: Perfect place close to the beach if you want to stay away from the party hostals nearby. Very clean and comfortable rooms with hot showers. Pool area is well maintained. Staff is very attentive and always present at the gate. Breakfast is very good with bread, fresh fruits and eggs.

Ulemper: What would make it a 10: some good advice about local restaurants and stuff to rent for the beach (bodyboard for instance).

Fordeler: When I comment that the bedroom we got was not the same as we expect from the pictures. The staff was very kind and offered a bigger room with the sea view we booked. So it was nice and the shower was good with a nice balcony. The food was very good. Everybody very nice and kind.

Ulemper: I didn't like that in the begining we got a room with little space. The water in the shower was weak in that bedroom. Also little variety in the breakfast. The same every day. Give a little maintenance to the reclinable beds in front of the beach.

Fordeler: Amazing beach-hotel. Nice staff and great food. Is like a paradise. I will come back!

Fordeler: The hotel offers great food, a very comfortable setting and a splendid location.

Fordeler: The view from the room is amazing, the bed is comfortable, the spot at the beach is great - far from the crowd but a good walk by the sea will take you there in 15m.

Ulemper: The room is to bright once the sun is up.

Fordeler: This hotel was fantastic from the people that work there to the location to the rooms and restaurant food. The view was spectacular. The property has been in business for a long time, but the bungalows are not outdated. Relaxed atmosphere. Our room # 7 was overlooking the ocean in the top floor and we slept with the doors open to hear the ocean. It was magic. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was plenty. Warm bread, coffee/tea/milk, yogurt, eggs, fruit juice (papaya and pineapple), cereal. Buffet style. We ate ceviche and lomo saltado for lunch. A little pricey but not too pricey. good quality and taste so overall it was worth it. No fridge in the room but they sell beers, wine, sodas & ice cream at a fair price. They also have a garage to park your rental car overnight.

Fordeler: The room was nice, with a pretty view. The beds comfortable and clean. The beach area great. The relation value vs money is good.

Ulemper: The attention at dinner wasn’t good and the food neither. The grilled fish was greasy, the French fries cold and when I told them they just took them back to the kitchen and heated in the microwave......

Fordeler: The owner and the staff were very friendly and professional. They effectively and efficiently addressed all our requests always with a smile. They can offer a family and cauzy environment that makes you feel relax. The location is excellent. Prestine natural beauty and among the more secured neighbourhoods of mancora.

Fordeler: Food was amazing, the bar and restaurant staff were excellent. We really enjoyed our time here, we wished it could have been longer!

Fordeler: it’s right at the beach. great pool and sun beds. decent breakfast, lunch and dinner. in the seaside rooms you’ll hear the sea all night.

Ulemper: the rooms that are not on the beach side are smaller, more crammed and pick up noise from the streets. it’s fairly expensive yet staff speak no english and don’t seem to be too well trained in hospitality and costumer service.

Fordeler: The sun beds on the two different pools were good. Sunshades were definitely missing, there are just some for the tables but non for the sun beds. Nice area, it’s just a 5 minute drive to Mancora Pueblo.

Ulemper: The breakfast was really super poor for a hotel with this price range. Just some rolls and butter. Eggs could be ordered, very tiny portion. There were no fresh fruits, no cheese, no sausage, nothing. Don’t book a massage, it was the worst one I ever had - felt more like stroking. The view from the room was really nice, but the room was in bad condition. Old, partly not clean, hair on the bed. The waiters were very nice and helpful, the lady on the reception was the complete opposite: sulky and absolutely not obliging. The food which can be ordered in the hotel’s restaurant was also over priced (drinks as well) and did not taste too good.

Fordeler: Beautiful location close to the sea...in the night you can hear the sound of the waves. Perfect hotel for relaxing.

Ulemper: Late check-out is very very expensive..25 dollar for 3 hours extra. You stay Longer than 4 hours extra, you pay for a all day !!! .also the restaurant is expensive

Fordeler: The facility is clean.

Ulemper: They don't follow the law. Added an extra 18% charge to the room to non-Peruvian tourists coming from the USA. The Peruvian law is very clear about exemptions of the 18% to tourists. No other hotel charged us the 18%.

Fordeler: The beach is awesome. Well located. The food is expensive, but is delicious. It helps a lot that they give you breakfast.

Ulemper: We had problems with the air conditioning and they were just installing the tv. The hot water didn’t worked all the time.

Fordeler: The hotel is a place to feel right at home. Its right next to the beach and the views were amazing. The owners were incredibly kind and gave us a free upgrade upon arrival. Definitely recommend it.

Fordeler: I liked that it was near good restaurants and that it had a small boutique feel to the hotel. Good value for money and clean.

Ulemper: The stairs to the good rooms are four flights. The hotel staff can't do anything on their own - the bartender has to go to the reception to make change for a drink. The hotel's beach area is quite small and limited number of beach chairs and umbrellas for all the guests.

Ulemper: The young man working on reception came across rude and unhelpful when disputing an issue. A lack of customer service skills and professionalism. Also the hotel doesn’t feel like a 4* stay. Needs refurbishment and more facilities and services.

Fordeler: Location was great, if you like to be in the centre of the party,

Ulemper: The walls were very thin I could hear the party going until 330 in the morning in town. Very loud bass.
