Nice place They put me in a handicap room, would really prefer a real shower and tub combo.
great location for proximity to Memorial Stadium Hotel is getting pretty old and hasn't been updated
They addressed the issue right away. After three house the room stunk of cigarette smell which should be prohibited. People have allergies and we were not accommodated. All of my items stunk the whole stay.
Caddie did a good job at the front desk to help with some of the issues and Joe the breakfast chef was full of customer service when others wouldn't go out of thier way to help a weary traveller. Was told valet was the only one available. Left keys out on the desk outside while running to parking garage. Then ordered room service and was told after 90 min that front desk staff had to bring food up because there was only one person in the kitchen. Fourth of July weekend. Really not good plannin.
I liked the rooms, the food, the hospitality, pretty much everything about our visit OVER PRICED! Called the hotel, was told they were sold out for the weekend but went online and found this site. Needed the room so couldn't balk at the price but seriously, $256 for a room that normally goes for $100 less? OUCH!!
Great staff and great location to Haymarket and UNL
Close to the action downtown.
The location, staff, and breakfast were great! The pool was really cold and there was no hot tub. All evening we heard teenagers bring wild in the hallway and our neighbors TV and conversation. The bed was rock hard and very uncomfortable!!
Nice view. Comfortable bed. Great location Staff failed to pick up room service trays left in the hallway for days. Fruit at breakfast didn't taste good or fresh. Paid $10 for parking, which is fine, but was not anticipated. Counter help had difficulty providing a receipt at checkout.
Beautiful room!! Loved the blackout shades and the shower was amazing after a long day of shopping. The front desk help were great as well. Parking pass didn't work, but I was not charged for it in the end.
Convenient location, in the Haymarket and close to downtown made this hotel appealing. Beyond that, though, I would not recommend this hotel as a top choice. Hotel seemed dated with the fit and finish appearing a bit long in the tooth. There was mold growing around the windows in the room and dust on the carpeting around the edges of the room. The shower flooded the bathroom floor. The future had a sagging look to it. For the price of the room and the state of the appointments, I would have expected free parking and/or free breakfast, but all of that was extra. All of this combined to give the hotel the impression of being a party destination for football game day weekends, but not a good choice for any other reason. We would have preferred to have stayed at the Embassy Suites but it was full the night we were in Lincoln.
Friendly staff, kids love the buffet on weekends, excellent location Extremely tight parking garage!
Everything was clean and in good order. It is in a very convenient location. Within walking distance of many restaurants and nightlife. For the money that was paid to stay here we were very disappointed and will not ever "splurge" on a Hilton again. We have stayed in hotels for less than half of what we paid here and had more comfort, friendlier service, and just as much convinience. On top of the high price for the room, they gouged us for parking which should have been included with the room. It was for "event parking". Upon check in we did not feel very welcomed as the attendant checking us in acted as if he was in a hurry to get us through even though we were the only ones checking in at the time. After our evening event we returned to the hotel and sat in the bar for a good 10 minutes and were not waited on. Had they been busy we would have understood. However they were not busy. There were a total of 10 people there including my wife and myself. All in all, for the price we paid it was not worth but half. I've felt more secure when staying in a different country than I did there. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Being in the Downtown area. Great Japanese resturant close by. Lack of parking and if you used valet it cost $15. Other than that is was a great stat
Pleasant staff no BTN in rooms. Had to set in lobby to watch local college football game. Coffee packets in room almost impossible to open--had to use teeth!
Great location Relatively New Clean Friendly Staff Parking - Paid City Ramp
Bistro has odd hours..... closed between breakfast and lunch thus no food for those waking up past 10:00. Doesn't work with teenage children.
Property itself is newly constructed and very clean and well designed with nice amenities. The downtown location is handy, but it brings with it a lack of parking and the general congestion of lots of people packed into a small space.,Property itself is newly constructed and very clean and well designed with nice amenities. The parking situation was ridiculous unless you want to valet park and pay every time you need your car. We parked in the garage our- selves as were were going to be in and out a lot and ended up carrying our luggage around the block. Ran into another couple doing the same thing. Wanted to sleep in for awhile in the morning, but cleaning staff was busy in other rooms and in the hall and the vacuuming and door noise prevented us from doing so.
Location. Staff was friendly (except for cleaning staff) I was surprised to find out that they did not have their own parking lot/garage. You had to use a public garage across the street at $11/day ($15/day valet)
Great location to walk to many venues. The staff was helpful and very courteous.
The hotel is very new and in great shape. The location at the edge of the Haymarket district is excellent. Lots of options for food and drink within a few blocks. Parking was kind of a hassle. There is a parking garage across the street with no connecting walkway, so there is a lot of walking back and forth across the street.
