location food hygiene very poor rough night after eating.
Good value, good location. Television policy. Deposit for remote control. Local channels only; reception poor. we did not like being kept waiting at reception in company with other guests whilst the receptionist chatted on the phone to a mate.
The enviroment was noiseless, a place to relax. People can smoke near the pools disturbing others who does not like this. The mattress in the room was so old and several times it provides "special" noises".
Clean, good choice of buffet, excellent sized accommodation. Entertainment music too loud for our liking but everything was quiet by midnight. Could not offer us breakfast when we had to leave at 7.30 before the dining room opened at 8 on the last morning.
no coffee or tea making facilities in the rooms
Food was good. Additional charges for a large number of normal items that should have been inclusive e.g. room safety deposit, parking, rental of tv remote control, use of gym. Hotel requires refurbishment - generally tired-looking.
The staff was very friendly and the food quiet nice. The whole place needs a total facelift. Ants all over our room. A safe that didn't work. Car parking with a card that didn't work too, so we couldn't get our car out. Loud music until 12 o clock in the night from hotel entertainment. Loud music at pool area in the afternoon provided by the hotels speakers. Go there if you want a holiday with nonstop action but stay home if you want a nice and quiet get away by the sea.
Beautiful setting and lovely view from our room. Seems a pity that car parking for clients cannot be allowed free of charge.
The pool area was very nice The buffet food was the worst I've had in a long time and there was no other options for dinner. The rooms had a hospital institutional quality and the extras like mini bar, a remote for the television or in house movies, Things that one would expect from a so called 4 star hotel were nowhere to be seen. Having to pay extra to use the indoor pool was also not a classy touch.
Quiet, even if the hotel is big and was full with families and young children. Food is decent. All facilities are clean and staff is friendly. The room for 4 adults had only two beds, was small and very basic for a 4* hotel. The gym facilities open only a few hours and are extremely poor although the website says "state of the art". You pay extra for everything. The beach is small and it is not sandy, but soil with fairly dirty water. Wouldn't qualify as it as a beach, could be better though with appropriate effort.
nice hotel, good location, friendly staff despite several requests the hot water never got above tepid and the room heating was very ineffectual
Found it via their directions easily.Check in/out was efficient and breakfast was great. Only things lacking were a hospitality tray and a hair drier
Excellent rooms with balconies overlooking port and coastline, with views to Delta del'Ebre and lighthouse parking in basement extremely narrow access - don't take any large vehicle.
Good staff, very clean, very modern.
It was very relaxing and served well by the staff with balconies facing a gorgeous view, with plenty of walks and possibilities to go bird watching. The breakfast buffet could have a wider range of fresh fruit and squeezed juices
We received a friendly welcome with good instructions to find underground garage - the room was comfortable and well equipped. The hotel was well situated in a quiet location but 10 minutes from quais and restaurants. Bar staff could have been a bit more welcoming.
location excellent - near town but not noisy, near stony beach but within walking distance of sandy beach; took us less than 15 minutes to walk from train station to hotel with wheely bags - easy to get to. wide range of breakfast, plenty of staff on hand to clear up as we went through buffet! we did not have any small children but very child-friendly hotel. in spite of all this, very quiet! price of restaurant menu seemed dear, we ate out apart from breakfast. all in all, value for money.
The breakfast, the location.... This year, again travelling with a dog and cat, I was asked to not leave the pets in the room. For me that meant I could not dine in the hotel. Understand there can be a problem with barking dogs, but as a caring dog owner I would never leave a nervous dog anyway. I did find an other place to eat and bring the dog, so no problem for me.
The location, the hotel lobby, the local seafood restaurants, the coastal walks.
