Location is unbeatable . Rooms are beautiful ; spacious, modern, and clean. This is practically a brand new hotel. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is recommended ,Location is unbeatable . Rooms are beautiful ; spacious, modern, and clean. This is practically a brand new hotel. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is recomm Rooms can be a little noisy because of location and the way our rooms was right by the elevator but nothing to really worry about.
Location was fantastic. Hotel was clean and well-maintained. View of the sites was excellent on the front side of the building. View on the back side of the building awful.
Excellent location, cleanliness and generally cheerful and helpful staff. Breakfast offered good choice and plentiful supply but offerings became somewhat monotonous over time. Room was somewhat small and lacked closet/cupboard space. Transit service to airport and 'new business area' was unreliable.
The Staff is very helpful and smiling all the time.. The location is ideal for visiting the old city... The breakfast is great.. The room was a bit small, but was comfortable.
Beautiful hotel. Great location short walk to the best sightseeing.
Breakfast was excellent. Smaller room with no view
Best price-service ratio
Staff was very accommodating. No
Very good location walking distrance to most main tourists attraction venue. Overall attractive hotel except for room 219 WIFI can barely have any reception and one particular security can't even speaks English.
The hotel was in a great location to be close to the Grand Bazar and most of the tourist sights. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I thought the prices for dinner and lunch were extrememly high up stairs, but there are plenty of restaraunts in walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helped with directions any time we asked for them. Would stay again.
The hotel is situated almost across the street from the Grand Bazaar and within walking distance of many of the historical sites, including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, etc etc. Hotel is clean and efficient and provides free use of the business center. Only problem with the hotel (and this applies to most of Istanbul) is that there is hardly any English spoken by the staff!
The hotel was nice but had a few flaws. first, do not eat the breakfast buffet, extremely over priced. They also keep the building very warm by not running the a/c too much.
This hotel is located walking distance to the Famous Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. This location can spare you the headache of taking a taxi. Traffic is literally a nightmare in Istanbul
A relatively new hotel, comfortable. The restaurant food was not good, staff seems to be not trained or managed enough. The service is not 5 star.
Everything, as I got the weekend (Saturday) deal. I costs double, triple if it is on a week day.
i think massagors are not enough there. everything was good
nothing aircon room is just fan not cool at all also i change 3 rooms it's same - furnture is very old and 2 much used
the location mostly service was very bad and rude... would have never thought it was a 5 star hotel... also this is the only 5 star hotel that i have ever been to that when ever you call the reception/room service or infact any part of the hotel, they consistantly request you to inform them of your room number... i understand that this is a small point, but it does make a difference.... its much nicer when they pick up the phone and know your name instead of asking instead of your room number only and even then not knowing the name.
Cheap compared to similar hotels but at an inferior location necessitating taxi trips through routinely heavy traffic at least ones a day out and back to get to interesting areas Only the location
especially the room - nice designed, comfortable and privacy place
Perfect value for money... 5 star services, combined with reasonable pricing... Excellent location - close to everywhere thanks to city train station across the street. Very rich and diverse breakfast. Accessible by train, metro, all kinds of buses, taxi, etc. Carrefure supermarket just 100m away Friendly staff... What we liked most is a small (tiny) private balcony on our 5th floor room. Very romantic, sitting outside and watching sunset over 1600 years old city walls of Constantinople / Istanbul. Nothing comes to mind. We liked all!
Very helpful staff especially at checkin. The second room we had was upgraded to a superior. Rooms are very decently sized, bath rooms are a bit small though. The facilities are quite nice and well maintained. For cleaning you have to remind the housekeeping every day or it does not get done. We had quite a few problems with the lift resulting in wait times of up to 15 minutes. Finally a minor irritant the coffee/tea was not replenished on a daily basis and when we asked we were charged! Room service is patchy at best for a 5 star
Quiet location, Friendly staff Too far from the main tourist area of Sultanahmet, No activity around the hotel at nigts, Breakfast not included in the package and was very expensive (17 Euros / person).
This hotel was my first experience with a Four Seasons Hotel and certainly worth the expense. The staff were welcoming and accommodating to me on an individual level. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The food was out of this world. A great hotel in a great location. It's the place to stay if you want to treat yourself!
Super location, short walking distance to so many spots. The hotel is first class. Spendy, but worth it because the location means you can really just enjoy the sights without so much hassle with getting around the town.
Sentral beliggenhet, nær til mange severdigheter, trikk og taxier. Hyggelige rom, rask inn/utsjekking og en rikholdig frokostbuffet.
Standard of the hotel and its location is perfect for exploring the historic parts of Istanbul Used glasses were not changed with clean ones after the first day
Flott hotell med veldig bra beliggenhet. Fine rom
A very nice hotel in a perfect location.
good view The airconditioner is not working at the hotel .I adviced this hotel to my professor scientist colleguaeas .One them recently visited May 30 2010 from Taiepei and he told me that the airconditioner is not working Only fan is working . at that time I warned the hotel service . then for the SSIEM meeting I stayed and 3 of my other collegueas booked and stayed one from Belgium and the others two from UK and we had still the same problem air conditioner was NOT working I complained about this to hotel service and they told me that they can not do anything for that. It is not good for hotel that has a very nice location . I am sure , you will have more pressure on this air conditioner fixing or having a new system there Thank you
Most amazing view of the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque from my room.
Rooms not very spacious but quite clean and well-maintained. Comfort is ok, but not exceptional. Furnishing and decoration need update. Breakfeast buffet might be a bit more refined. Overall, acceptable value for money but there are better options available. The view is magnificent on the 6/7 th floor.
The room, view, amenities, and location were great; The one major issue was the staff - one of the desk clerks continued to harass my wife, asking for photos, and also to go on a date. It made the stay quite uncomfortable .. I would not expect this from a three star hotel!
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the view excellent (you can see from your window all the city, Agyasofia and Blue Mosque) and the tramway station very close to the hotel. I ll return to this hotel if I ever visit again Istanbul. The fact that the elevetor comes up to the 7th floor, and you have to walk some stairs to go to the roof garden which is on the 8th floor.
The location and view were very good The only luxurious aspect of the hotel are the room prices. Given the price we were expecting something better than old furniture, staff that would not make the room in the afternoon and soap/shampoo coming from an dispenser attached to a wall. The worst was the minimalist breakfast supposed to last until 10:30 but which is almost empty at 9:30 and with staff starting to dispose of it at 10:15. Hotel does indeed have a gym, massage and jacuzzi, but you have to pay just for "general facilities access", and again for the activity you choose. We don't recommend this hotel, there are many better ones with same location advantage!
Very convenient position for visiting the old town and the local attractions The room was extremely hot as the air conditioning was ineffective, no air conditioning in the breakfast room, staff not particularly helpful.
Perfect location, good atmosphere, very nice views,
Staff was efficient and courteous.....however the beds need definately improvement...the mattresses felt like they had been used by very heavy overweight people with a definate hole in the middle. We stayed in room 401 which sizewise was ok but had very few hangers for hanging clothes. New mattresses absolutely necessary... they should also provide a little more light in the corridors of the hotel... it was almost pitch dark and one had difficulties to insert card to open room doors.
staff were excellent internet connection was subject to problems
pretty nice hotel, great location and view from the roof dining room breakfast could be better
Good location. Breakfast ok. Bed acceptable. They put as in a closet first. 1 st floor room, size of a double bed. After complaint, they changed us, but then the service was cold. Also the reception gave false information about public transport.
The beds are too hard as are the pillows. There was no heating despite the cold nights. The hot water supply is unreliable
Great location, great breakfast.
Had a beautiful suite (had double room on the reservation even though now I see on your information it says "exclusive" double room). The hotel staff was helpful and polite. The location could not have been better. We walked to all the Sultanahmet sights, blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, AyaSofya, Topkapi Palace. No.
Very nice location, good staff, nice breakfast, highly recommended
location of hotel to the main attractions
The Eresin Crown is centrally located, very comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. Drinks and some food items in the restaurant are overpriced. The roof terrace, which is one of the main features of the hotel, was not open for breakfast although the weather was fne and sunny.
Exellent!! The hotel was great, nice room, good location in old city-would definitely stay again
A fine location, very interesting use of old location and artifacts from archeological excavation, comfortable room and very pleasant welcome. This is our second and I hope not last stay.
We loved the proximity to all the major sites in the old city of Istanbul, and we really enjoyed how the hotel incorporated ancient artifacts into their decor! When we arrived, we werreee upgraded to a suite which was wonderful. The rooftop breakfasts were very nice as well. The wifi was a little unreliable.
good location and quite, a walking distance from most of tourist locations, clean, acceptable break fast, and acceptable service some days they switch of the AC so it was terrable night
The stuff is very, very helpful and friendly, the hotel is well located in front of the mosque and quite near to Istanbul University and historical Sultanahmet area. It's not too big, not crowded and noisy that sometimes can happen during high season. The minibar was empty, but's not a problem to buy some beverages to take away in the hotel's restaurant in the groundfloor that's open 24 hours. To my mind the breakfast was quite frugal.
the location was great the hotel was not comfort , noisy
The rooms were clean but very small bathrooms are tinyyyy ... First off they wanted to charge 30 lira for a swim now come on u pay for ur hotel u dont expect to pay to use the pool .. The food was cold .. i got and when i gave it back to them they put the chips in the microwave with the sauce on it was horrible .. The bar closed early one night so u had to go to the restaurant area for ur drinks ... now i have to say the staff were very nice and friendly these things that happened were not there fault ..
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Air-conditioner was not working very well.
The staff could not do enough for us. It was a great location for the grand bazaar. Lovely rooftop pool. Local restaurants were cheap and had an excellent array of local food and a taxi to Taxsim was £3 each way.
very kind and polited staff! very good service and good price/value ratio! I am very satisfied!
staff was helpful and smiling, except those of the dining room that smelled of sweat. I didn't like that everything was alleyways, dirty. the bathroom had just shower into the wall. I had salt water in the sink
it was comfortable u had to pay to use there swimming pool which is madness u pay enough to stay in the place .. bar closed one oof the nights had to use restaurant area
Location, clean room and good beds, private use of sauna, friendly staff, spacious room for 2 persons The room in the first floor was sometimes quite noisy, in the room was lack of wardrobes especially with shelves, the lights with the key card was hard to put on, it would be nice to have some variation in the breakfast
the staff was very friendly and this nice hotel is located in the most interesting place of Istanbul, near ayia sofia and blue mosque. And with great connection with other places such as Grand bazzar and the taksim square.
good quality for given price. Was only due to the low season I am affraid.
The staff and the location. The room was fine as well
Hotel well located. Spacy room. The hammam does not work. You can not use the spa when ever you want. You have to book before, you can not share the hammam with other people.
staff service / welcome
A very nice location + a very friendly staff.The Hotel is small,but nice The rooms are too small+description is wrong:rooms are not suit.for 4 persons,even for 3 pers.not comfortable(Suites).Rooms are looking to a wall,at least the suites.
The location Next door construction
Friendly staff. Accomodating. Extremely central location for Istanbul. They tried to push a tour on us but it wasnt too bad. Overall very good people!
The staff were very friendly. i felt like home. The hotel is in the middle of all attractions. The hotel is small compared with the pictures on the site
