Staff was wonderful and location was good being mostly out of the craziness of tourists

Room was nice but for the price would expect more (dressers to stow your clothes as an example)

From the moment we arrived we were treated warmly and like valued friends/guests. We had a Jr Suite with Caldera Views and though the room itself was beyond amazing in every detail, we especially loved the "room for two" shower which was a beautifully tiled "cave". The hotel is located on one of the high points of the Rim, and the sunset views were amazing!! Order a drink, and it is brought to you while you watch the breathtaking sunset and vivid afterglow!! They served breakfast both mornings on our balcony which was really lovely, but you can have it served at tables next to the pool with great views. The staff portered our bags several hundred yards down the rim trail to the hotel, and we were served wine while we waited to check in. Staff was never obtrusive, yet somehow always there at a moment's notice. They were also very helpful in giving us directions, etc. Finally, after check out we asked if we could leave our bags because we had a volcano tour before our flight out of Santorini. When we returned to pick up the bags, they offered us use of a shower to freshen up and even brought towels, bath supplies etc. We were quite surprised since we had checked out. This is just another example of their genuine concern for our enjoyment and well-being. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone, perfect for special occasions. It was the perfect experience. Note that there are a number of room types, and if you can do it, try to get the Jr Suite upstairs. It is well worth it. The views are astonishing! One last thing - being located on the rim, it is easy to walk to many wonderful restaurants and access the Cable Car/donkey rides. There is a vibe that is both lively and peaceful. Importantly, it is well out of the way of many of the thousands of cruise ships folks rushing to get hither and yon during their limited time on Santorini. Overall, an experience to give yourself and that special other person.

There is not a single thing that I would ask them to change or do better.
