Superb

We really like that it has a full indoor swimming pool and gym and yoga corner. The hotel is just 3 mins walk to the nearest Metro station. And just a street away from a well lay out jogging track right beside the Bund River. Best location for the quality of stay.

Unfortunately due to the overwhelming ratings, the price of this property has gone way up. I paid almost twice the amount per room rate for the same period of stay. And due to some renovation done, the room is smaller now. So it’s twice the price for half the size!

Although quite cosy, the bedroom was well appointed with high quality furniture and a good view over the river.

The hotel is located in a really “local” part of Shanghai called Hongkou. It is the real Shanghai and is conveniently located for a short walk to the more touristy parts of Shanghai. Also very convenient for the subway.

Breakfast too expensive. Can get a local breakfast for 10% of what the hotel charges.

We booked double room for two people. However only one breakfast included and second one et extremely high price! Very bad image! Feedback comes from Michelin employee of 40 years and global traveler!

language is a challenge, as a majority of the staff do not have a working knowledge of English. Else all was good and people were very helpful

The room air conditioning was set to heat, so had to switch it off and leave the windows open.

My room was comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice.

The carpet was dirty (stained) and the breakfast is way over priced. Although my room was nice, it was probably the smallest of all the rooms in my group of 17. Since I was the one responsible for paying for all rooms (for a one week stay), it would have been nice to have had a better room.

The location is superb for the subway and local eateries. also close to the riverside walk, easy walking distance to the Bund. Staff very polite and pleasant.

The second time we stayed the room was a little cramped but the view was great. Didn't like having to pay to use the "business centre"

There was construction going on the floor below ours that started fairly early in the AM. When we informed the manager he made sure there was no more noise the remainder of our stay.

Beautiful building and rooms.

Average breakfast buffet. HORRIBLE coffee. No close cafe for good breakfast. Location required taxis for trips to action. But taxi cheap so that was ok.

Very nice and clean hotel. Great pool, I enjoyed my stay. I will definitely come back here next time.
