Overall is good.

staffs are friendly, efficient, and easy to contact.

Location wise not so convenience, as far from metro and far from restaurant and shopping mall.

The variety at breakfast was amazing although when I went for the western cooked breakfast it was nearly always cold. Spacious clean hotel close to Fudan university

Location was good, the hotel has a nice interior. The room was spacious. There was a promotional offer for the in-room minibar, which made the prices far more reasonable. Check the price card when you get into your room, it will be marked if there's a promotion on.

Swimming pool requires swimming cap - foreign tourists don't have these. Make exceptions, no other Western country insists such things. The cost of drinks in the bar is insane for such small bottles, and no draft beer. The air conditioning controls in my room didn't appear to do anything. If there wasn't a promotion on for the minibar, the prices would have been crazy.

Fantastic breakfasts, and very good location if visiting Fudan University (otherwise quite far from tourist areas in Shanghai). I understand that a closer metro station is being built though, so this will improve quicker access into the centre of Shanghai.

The hotel car that I'd ordered to collect me from the train station was not at the correct meeting place so there were some delays in getting to the hotel.

Room was clean, breakfast was awesome as usual.

I stayed at crown plaza a couple months ago and I remeber breakfast was 90 yuan purchased on-site. However, when I booked it on booking, it was 128 yuan... shouldn’t it be cheaper to book it in advance ?

Rooms need to be updated

Nobody, neither Hotel no booking.com had informed me about the extra deposit ( equal to ~0.5 of the total price ! for my stay in the Hotel) which has been blocked on my card upon arrival to the hotel... finally, this sum has been unblocked from the card only after 21 days since my departure from the hotel...

1. Comfortable bed, spacious room with well-provided facilities. 2. Safe. 3. Friendly staff who speak good English. 4. About 5 minutes walk from Fudan University Main gate (Handan Road). 5. Free shuttle bus to the city area. 6. Very close to the FamilyMart (Quanjia), café and restaurants. 7. No more than 15 minutes walk to the nearest Metro Station, Guoquan Road Station Line 10.

the obvious thing is the internet connection, pretty poor here but expected seeing the local regulations. also distance from the central area quite big, metro might work better (though super busy) ...

AC is not powerful enough, dusty and stuffy hotel halls and corridors, breakfast options have very much cooking oils and fats.

A good business hotel close to the Fudan university. If you don't have a conference or meeting at the university, the location is clearly not ideal.. Good service and correct restaurant.

Very lovely property

Extremely bas command of English language. 95% of staff even at concierge desk have bo chance to understand you. The choice and wuality of food other than breakfast is very poor. Ordered pizza ...

The hotel is beautiful. Facilities good, didn't use pool but it looked nice. Good location for Fudan University, but that's all.
