Bavaro Princess All Suites Resort Spa & Casino

The hotel was absolutely amazing. It's been recently renovated and both interior and exterior design are stunning. The hotel has a lot of green spaces, with a ecological park taking a big portion of it's central space. Ducks, herons, cranes, peacocks, flamingos, water turtles and fish can be seen all around the park and the artificial lakes. The room was big with both a shower and a Jacuzzi bath tub. The beach was beautiful and full of umbrellas and sun loungers, but with enough space not to feel overcrowded. Platinum beach had loungers with mattresses, which were amazingly comfy. Many thanks to Claudio and Tony at the Platinum beach bar, who were always helpful, cheerful and always made us laugh. The restaurants... oh my! I've had the best food ever. In my opinion, the food and the service in the restaurants are what make the price a complete bargain. The buffet was quite satisfactory, but after trying the restaurants (which open for dinner only), the 24h pub with burgers and other snacks, and the platinum grill by the beach PGB (open for lunch), I never went back to a buffet, except for breakfast. We tried the spa, had a very relaxing massage session, and then chilled at the spa's Jacuzzi pool. Many thanks to Jerry in the Platinum reception for always helping and to Ross in the guest services office for arranging a beautiful dinner by the beach, and sending a cake on my birthday.

Avoid the "Royal Holiday"-or-something-similar guys who wait by the beach and want to offer you a "welcoming tour/party". They are part of a travel agency who operate in the hotel premises. They will get you to the lobby, ask you questions in order to create a travel package and try and sell it to you. It was a waste of 2 hours of my morning, and all that before getting to their questionnaires, at which point I declined to do anything and left.

staff was very pleasant and helpful,few occasions where I felt some of the staff seemed bothered when asked questions. I had to write a note to our maid to completely clean our room as our dbl sink area had been left the same after it had been cleaned.

Seaweed was horrible for 4/7 nights that we stayed there.Did not maintain beach daily-This hotel has workers manually cleaning while other resorts had bulldozers. Hotel makes enough money to maintain seaweed/beach clean daily for guests to enjoy.
