Have stayed before and it has always been quite pleasant. No snoring from the other occupant in the room which is always great! The breakfast is quite limited. Some variety would be great!

The woman who drank the beer I had. Not the hostels fault, It was a nice beer and I did not want her to drink it. I will learn from this hopefully! :D

Good place to stay

The location is quiet yet close to the main sights. Building and rooms are clean for an affordable price. The staff was great ! A girl from my dorm was playing music out loud late at night and I asked for help as she wasn’t listening to me.. they kindly moved me to a room by myself

It is a good location close to the centre of the city. The rooms are satisfactory.

Having stayed before it is odd to see a limited breakfast and possibly limited staff levels yet the room cost has not been reduced to reflect this. If certain prices were increased would the room price increase to cover the cost. Possibly. It is a suggestion. As before the breakfast included yogurt, cereal, jams, bread a full buffet and now it is a bag with a couple of rolls and one coffee with a little sweet cake and one piece of fruit. The cost is less as before guests could have multiple drinks and as much breakfast as they could eat.

The WiFi is very good and everything very clean.

The breakfast should be buffet but because of covid they are helping you on the table. The problem is that, this morning, Bernard, one of the employees was very rude to me and my friends. It's not our fault that the breakfast routine changed and he gave us things that we didn't ask, and when we were asking he simply said that he wasn't there to serve us the whole day. Just rude and out of the blue.

Decent hostel

Relatively speaking this hostel is good value in Luxembourg and the hostel is close to everything worth seeing.

Rude breakfast staff soured the entire experience.

Youth hostel is located in a peaceful neighborhood which is easily accessible by public transport. The staff is friendly and check-in process was quite easy. The room is quite large and beds are comfortable.

I expected to be provided by the towels for free.

At breakfast I never got juice or banana the 3 days I stayed , the waiter told me it was finished!!!!I went every day at 8am ,one hour before they closed the breakfast service! No soap at bathrooms, towel are payable.Same breakfast every day.. But it was ok: salami,ham, ( cheap cheese) 2 different loafs ,jam and butter plus hot drink.

Nice place for the few...

The breakfast in the morning was basic, but free. Had phone for international calls, that was nice. Rooms were cozy and clean.

Not sure why you still keep this lazy receptionists. They cannot help in anything and they even dont try. As you suggest i asked them in the morning to order me the Taxi. Two Black guys. He come saying no one us picking up. I insist in looking for other company. At the end i finish breakfast and saw them chatting - not caring at all. At the end i list 30 euro as cannot reach my bus and 4 hours of my holiday. Wery bad memories!

Expensive hostel, just for a bed no breakfast included. Bathroom really need renovations. The shower is very cramped and tiny.

Location was exceptional - Although the Luxembourg city is not so big the hotel was located around 300 m from the bus stop and 23-30 mins of walking from most of the sightseeing places. Breakfast - Due to the Covid situation the items in breakfast is certainly reduced (no fruits/eggs) and we understand it, but overall it was ok. You can get a second serving if you want. Room - So I booked for a dormitory with three bed and considering the safety of all of us they provided three separate rooms for us three individuals which is really thoughtful and nice in terms of taking precautions.

I would highlight that breakfast could have been better considering the reputation of Youth hostel, but considering the ongoing Pandemic situation, I would say it was ok. Another thing that could be improved is that they could put clear marking about the hostel location from the Bus stop on the heights.

No shower curtains

It's close to the center, there's a bus station close to the hostel (5min walking). The area is super quiet. There are restaurants nearby (10 min walking). You can leave your luggage after check out in some lockers for free (you just need a lock).

The toilet did not have shampoo. They charge you for shampoo (3 euros) and for towels (deposit for 10 euros and then they give you back 7 euros). Check out is so early (10am). The guy from the restaurant was not polite at all.

That me & my travel companion only received one keycard. The doors required some force to enter, a bit stiff

The place was central, but under the main city center, which means there was a fair walk uphill. The busses are not going down to the hostel, so if you dont like/want to walk or have mobility issues, it can be problematic. But the neighbourhood's lovely, quiet and I had a nice view from my window! The breakfast was nice, but only if you like sandwiches, I'll get to it later. If you're vegan or vegetarian, it may disapoint you tho

Another obstacle was at the hostel, the lift was only on one side and going up 1st floor. So if you weren't aware of it, you may have got a room which you need to climb up to 3 floors. Luckily, the staff was very nice and immediatelly switched my room when I asked for it, making them aware I have back issues. Draging my suitcase to the 3rd floor would've been a big problem for me. The breakfast was tasty and fresh, but lack of variety. I've spent there 5 days and was eating the same thing each morning. Would've been nice if there was a shift of ingredients available at least each second day. Most staff were very friendly, especially at the cantine, but there was one member of staff which was very rude to me when I've been outside in the evening and sitting at the table. He literally shouted at me to "go away, it's closed". But this situation has no influence on my overall raiting of the hostel.

This is mostly manageable except when you're carrying around your luggage. The shower and toilet are inside the room, so it was goodd; however, it was too cramped you can barely move. I could also hear the noise from the outside even if the windows were closed.

The property was clean and well organised, everything worked well and the rooms were well equipped

We had some issues with the breakfast - my friend and I are both vegan, we messaged ahead of time and were told that they could easily provide almond milk for us to have. However none of the staff knew about this, so on the first day there was nothing. We asked again at the front desk, they said of course they could provide some for the next day, and again the next morning there was nothing, and the breakfast staff knew nothing of our request. The man on duty at breakfast was very kind and provided us with some fruit so we didn't have nothing, but it was a shame. If they can't provide for vegans they can't, but they shouldn't have made a false promise - we could easily get our own non-dairy milk if they told us there would be none

The distance is not big but you need to climb a lot of stairs to go in the city. The bathrooms are all messy and dirty. Looks more like an university campus. The bar is in the kitchen, a little bit strange. No towel. You could make a small increase of the price of the bed and add towels.

The hostel is clean and the restaurant is great value for money and large potions.

The hostel is really well situated. Not in the old town itself but in the lower part of Luxembourg city. You are 15 min from the old (upper) town. But it allows you to easily visit all the sides of Luxembourg. Good breakfast and quiet beds

When we asked what to visit the guy looked shocked and didn't really know at first. But he made it up real quick

Good value for the area, breakfast was not bad and location is great. I would gladly stay here a second time if I visited the area again.

The door to the room was difficult to open due to issues with the locking mechanism. The end result was that sometimes you had to try 3-4 times or hope someone in the room would open the door for you if you couldn't get it. I unfortunately forgot to mention this issue to the staff when checking out, but I imagine they would fix it if I had.

The location of the hostel was fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and the hostel restaurant had a nice common area.

It doesn't have a kitchen to prepare your own meals. No towels provided for free. No bathroom essentials like shampoo or shower gel.

Good free breakfast. Sockets and light in the bed. Strong wifi. Lockers available in the room and access by keycard. Comfortable beds.

Not much of a hostel atmosphere. Mostly filled with students on school trips. You need to make your own bed on arrival, which can disturb people who are sleeping.

The bed was comfortable with a clean set of pillow covers, blanket covers, and bedsheets. Towels cost extra. Breakfast was worth for money.

It is a bit expensive for a hostel where you share a room and the toilet is down the hall.

The hostel is amazing: it's modern and "very clean". The breakfast (buffet) is good but the only problem is that it's too early so if you come late (the night before) in the hostel, it's possible that you can't wake up in time for it. They make lunch and dinner so that's the reason why you have to leave early the restaurant. The location is nice. It's seems it's far from the center but the city center is 10-15 minutes walking and the pubs and clubs (where you can enjoy the evenings or/and the nights) are 5 minutes walking from the hostel.

The breakfast time is too early. The prices for the drinks were too expensive compare to the city (a small bottle of water was 2,5€). They take your datas to many times: 1 - from the booking online and debit/credit card that you provide during the online booking, 2 - from the passport or ID when you check-in and that they have to scan it, 3 - you have to fill up a form that they will provide you at the reception. One of the guy at the reception was terrible: when i checked in i asked about the reason of filling up the document with all my data when they were scanning my ID and everything was on there and his answer was that I have to (but i didn't ask to much after this answer because i didn't want to create problems). This wasn't a big deal but what made me upset was the fact that I met in my room (6 beds) 2 guys coming from spain for 2 nights that checked-in 15 minutes before me, and one of them was deaf and dumb. The next day I saw another guy with them (they were in 3) and this one was deaf and dumb as well. I asked to them why they aren't staying in the same room being that in our room there were 2 empty beds and they said that they asked to the reception and they invited one of the receptionist to both of their rooms showing him that in both of the rooms there were 2 beds empty but he said because 2 of them booked at the same time and the other one booked days later, they (receptionists) will not change the room of the third guy. For my experience as a receptionist this is unacceptable.....3 friends, where 2 of them are deaf and dumb and one of them can communicate with the others, can't stay in the same room is a shame.

Great location and price.

The bathrooms were not checked by staff regularly and as a result there was no toilet paper in 2 of the female toilets for almost 12 hours - it had run out before we went for dinner and still had not been replaced when we checked out the next morning.

Rooms and bathroom were clean and beds were comfortable. Shower facilities were good well placed in the middle of each floor.

The only problem was the staff were very slow to do anything. They were friendly but It took about 25' to check in and same to check out. Breakfast also ended very early and there were no kitchen facilities.
