Hotel Victoria

The location is ideal, less than 2 minute walk to the Metro or Train station. The hotel has a lot of character and charm. The rooms on each floor are situated around an open concept interior which makes it bright inside. The double twin bed room was spacious with a large private bathroom, same for the large double room & the regular double room (booked for other family members). Very conveniently located, close to "Old Lausanne".

The breakfast was varied and very satisfactory, the location 5 minutes walk from the railway station, staff friendly and helpful.

No AC in the room, might be a problem during hot summer days.

Friendly, helpful staff. We were allowed an early check in as I had a bike and extra luggage. Room was comfortable and breakfast good. Pleasing selection of channels on TV.

The design is impressive. Location and facilities are also at the top level.

Breakfast wasn't that impressive as the rest in the hotel.

Very best location, just around the corner and off the main drag from the metro and the train station. Catch the metro when you are tired of walking up and down the beautiful terraced city of Lausanne. Or walk it. The metro and buses are free with your hotel transit pass, and we used ours constantly. We had room 400, three massive beautiful old windows and a large terrace (big enough for a couple chairs), two big beds. Great linens and a lovely bathroom.

Old fashioned metal key system - they ask you to leave your key every time you leave the hotel. A little irritating (or charming?) inconvenience. Room right beside the stairs and elevator but worked out that it was quiet.
