A splendid occasion to get to know relaxed Canary way of life, as several pedestrian streets are then packed with locals. The picturesque VEGUETA and TRIANA neighborhoods are included in the tentative List of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and all our historic houses here are surrounded by restaurants, cafeterias, bars, art galleries, theaters and shops. Stroll along the narrow gobbled pedestrian streets where also the Columbus House, the Market hall, great museums and the Cathedral are all just minutes away on foot. The famous LAS CANTERAS beach is just a 20 minute bike ride away, or 10 minutes by bus, plus taxis are delightfully inexpensive.
