Airconditioning worked. Could have my laundry done on site for the same price as other laundry places.

This is most definitely not a “resort and spa”. Staff could not speak English and were not all friendly. We were 2 people in one room and they could not give us more than one room key. The whole place looked and sounded like a construction site. Garden was unkept and from our room we could see staff accommodation with laudry airdrying outside. Towels were stained, but were most definitely white at some point in the past. Room wasn’t cleaned well as there were belongings from previous guests in the drawers. Beds were hard and uncomfortable and could do with new mattresses. Location is very poor. You have choose between 2 paths to get there: either walk past the sewage treatment plant or past dirty, dilapidated or half built structures. We paid less for a 3 day stay on Koh Lanta than for our 2 day stay at Chang Grand Phi Phi. All in all a big dissapointment. Wish I had read the reviews more intently before booking.

Not so comfortable dark rooms, reconstruction work near the hotel, mosquitos, a little bit far from the beach

Ok location, however you have to walk through a open sewer system for the beach. WiFi was good!
