Extended stay at the same room & enjoyed hotel facilities Mr Essam rooms division mgr was more than helpful & supportive & hes the reason why I give the hotel 9/10 No mosquitoes around the hotel which is good point Food at Moroccan al la cart resturant was tasty & service was good from Abdallah Housekeeping was good & clean everywhere

Spa sellers are annoying specially the Egyptian lady as if you don’t buy from her she pass beside u & sung by Arabic & smoking around at evening time back of Moroccan al cart resturant Terrace at main resturant need ventilation & birds eat from your plate if u go to pick up another kind of food One time saw a fox when sitting on terrace of my balcony specially before dinner time WiFi only in reception Toilets round pool is closed

- I overall liked the buffet restaurant. The variety was good and I could chose what I like. - The staff was very friendly even if I could tell some of them didn't speak English, they always tried to help and make my stay amazing. - The heated pool was great, the other pools I didn't try since if it was colder water I would prefer going to the beachfront. - The rooms very large and clean.

- I didn't like the food at the Italian restaurant, I think for both restaurants the food has little or no salt, most of the dishes are slightly undercooked or too much condiments for my taste. - The wireless is only at reception and sometimes it is very hard to connect to it.

I have been to may hotels in Hurghada but never felt comfortable like it is in Mercure , you feel like it is your second home . The location is awesome , staff are so friendly and the hotel has an unforgettable vibe Special thanks to Mr.Essam , the hotel divisions manager for being so friendly and helpful , he is such a great person Special thanks to Merna , the guest relation manager for being caring and helpful See you again soon in Mercure ❤️

I was in Spain and Turkey last year and stayed in 3 different hotels and comparing the food, the service and facilities Mercure Hurghada is a very top hotel for me and for my family. The sea water is amazing and if possible to include photo I will to show how amazing is the water is. Our nice experience with this hotel started from the reception as Omar, Ayman and Hazeem are really friendly staff. They allowed enough time for us to explain and explore the hotel. Followed by the restaurant chief Shamandory and really nice restaurant staff. All helped us to get what we need. Another great experience at the swimming pool, a guy called Farag is one of the kindest and honest person I have ever met. The house keeping Ahmed is a really nice man who did a great job in cleaning the room. This hotel will be our fav destination from now on and I really recommend it for everyone! I could go on for a few hours writing Every experience, really great hotel and great service! Many thanks Mohamed

The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed and pillows were comfortable. My room had a ln amazing view of the sea! The hotel has a beautiful sandy private beach area with great access to the sea for swimming or snorkeling. The hotel also has three pools, the main one being heated in the cooler winter months. The main restaurant serves three buffet style meals a day. The food is simple, but tasty. The restaurant staff was attentive and able to let me know ingredients in food. When it wasn't possible, the staff was more than willing to make something for me (I have some allergies and food sensitivities). There are a couple of other restaurants on site that serve dinner (an Italian place, a Moroccan place and possibly an Oriental place) but I chose to eat in the main restaurant. There are also smaller restaurants on the beach and by the pools that have cold drinks available.

Not that I minded, but it would be good to note, this hotel is located a little outside the main part of Hurghada. I am not sure how easy taxi access would be. Uber/Careem were able to do pick ups and drop offs. The hotel also has a taxi service on site. The hotel really does have everything you'd need so you might not ever have to leave the property!

WiFi was not good

beautiful resort, not huge and unpersonal like most resorts, location is awesome! the private beach is to die for, the grounds are well kept and very green, good temperated swimming pool, various restaurants (italian, asian and local), friendly staff, good bars, security is very tight, so we felt safe.

Room was a bit tired, the balcony was a bit dirty, food was a bit pricey, too many vendors on the beach selling tours, massages etc. was very difficult to just rest and enjoy the sun. I requested coffe for the room, they told me you get only coffe for the first day, after that you should pay 75 Egyptian pounds (€7) fortunately afterwards they sent coffe to the room for free.

Pool was perfect for the kids specially in winter, heated perfectly. Entertainment was good. Food was great except for the patisseries there were no variety.

Very calm place and very safe for children and family. All people and staff are very helpful and you feel that it is special and you have privacy. Also, food was amazing and plentiful and just right. There was also a vast variety to choose from.

Awesome getaway. Mr.Hazem at the reception is a perfect example of how a receptionist should be. He upgraded our room to a pool view family room. Upon check in, he personally escorted us to our room. During our stay, he made sure that all our requests were delivered promptly. The resort has it's own beach and its own coral reef and snorkeling site. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Will definitely come back again and will recommend to others. The rooms, the landscape and the beach.

Nice location on the beach, comfortable beds, good buffet for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Diving company on resort very patient. They bring you on a shore dive or by boat to some really beautiful reefs. Taxi company on resort to book airport transfers or other local transfers, very easy. Hotel made us to-go breakfast when we left early for day trips on 2 of the 4 days.

One of the entertainers spent 45minutes - 1 hour blowing a whistle to get people up and dancing on the beach. This took away from the peaceful, relaxed beach mode, as you heard a whistle blowing this entire time. If you do not have an all-inclusive band, it’s somewhat confusing. There were quite a few times where it seemed difficult to purchase food/drinks due to having to do an extra transaction.

Lovely view from room. Great beach within easy reach, with plenty of sun beds. Comfortable bed. Great food with a good variety of local and international dishes. We particularly liked the Oriental restaurant. It was my birthday while we were there and the hotel staff decorated the room with towel sculptures, flowers and balloons - a lovely personal touch!

Constant sales pitches on the beach for Spa, boat trips & beauty treatments. Confusion regarding different ‘levels’ of all-inclusive and no information about what was or wasn’t included. Poor ‘snack’ bar facility by the pool and none on the beach!

The staff starting for the reception specially MR. Ahmed also the room service was great. The cleanless of the rooms, pool and the beach was great. The night activities were good too. The whole stay was great.

I need to thank all the stuff for the good hospitality....and special thanks for Mr.ayman and Mr.hazem in the reception...I hope I come back soon and stay for longer time

Had a lovely stay here. Checked in on 7th October and met a kind and well presented receptionist called Ahmed. Check in was smooth and Ahmed walked us to our room informing us on the different restaurants and things to do whilst we were there as well as telling us our room had been upgraded for free. The room (2006) was beautifully decorated, clean and well presented and even had 2 personalised mugs for us both. Our balcony looked over the gardens and the beach. The room has a free safe, double wardrobe, TV, Air con, huge bathroom, balcony, sofa, coffee table, full length mirror, plenty of plug sockets. WiFi is available however costs $20 for 8GB to have in your room, otherwise you will have to use the WiFi in the lobby which is quite slow. 3 a la carte restaurant evenings, Italian, Oriental and A la carte all delicious. We met one of the spa staff members who booked us in, could not fault it at all. Came out of the spa completely cleansed and relaxed. We returned to the room which had been made so beautifully with flowers on the bed and towel sculptures. After the spa we ordered room service as we missed lunch due to being at the spa. We ordered a burger which was 75 Egyptian Pounds. Could not fault that either. Was delicious and came to the room really fast. Pool and Beach were clean. Sea was clear and can go snorkelling there and see coral and a lot of fish. 3 pools to choose from, family and quiet pools. Every staff member was polite and welcoming especially Musaffah or Mostaffah (sorry don't know how to spell his name) who worked in the ultra bar 3pm till 12:30am. He provided table service for us in the lounge and made the most amazing cocktails.

Hotel could have numbers for services in the room saves phoning reception to give us number for room service etc.

An amazing location for a beach resort. The beach is wide & beautiful for snorkeling & various activities. Good food, very nice decorations indoors/outdoors. Friendly staff. Can't complain

All was great.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The hotel has a very good location and is very clean. The staff is very friendly. We booked an all inclusive family room, which we found as very convenient, spacious and perfectly furnished. The room is attached to a separate two bed kids room with a separate TV and air conditioning. We were given three complimentary invitations to three a la carte restaurants outside the all inclusive package, where we had very fancy and delicious dinner experiences with a great atmosphere. The animation team and the night shows were great. The hotel has a very professional diving center (Chloe), though which we had a great diving experience in the sea. The boat and the diving coaches were outstanding. The beach is exceptional and there is a nearby reef, 50 m away from the beach, where you can just grap your mask and do some snorkeling. Also, the hotel has a very unique spa and massage service.

1- location is perfect. 2- animation team perform different activities during the day. 3- of course the landscape is amazing. 4- the best thing when we sit by the pool, you can see the sea at the same time. 5- the size of the family room is very good. 6- life guards know what they have to do especially at the pool

1- snacks in one bar only and is not sufficient to serve all guests. 2- our neighbour's found insects in their room. 3- staff in restaurants are too lazy and seems they Don't want to serve people (foreigns or Egyptians). 4- bathrooms always have bad smell Even though I recommend mercure hotel and will visit it again and again.

Excellent meals ,location is very convenient. Reception employee Ahmad Abdelhameed was very efficient and accomodative. The chef is excellent. Note your question no 2 is misleading : not clear to me what was the highest mark. I changed that after someone explained it to me.

The place is amazing, Very Nice beach , great food and Bars, Alot of activities to be done there. ( horse and camel riding), Tennis , squash....

The Main pool is small but there is another pool, Jacuzzi could be better

The place is very tidy and clean, spacious family room. Room service responds fast. Also Abd-ElRahman in the pool bar is a wonderful person.

Life guards on the new compound's pool are aggresive so is one captain in the Andalus restaurant. Also being allowed to have guests only in the lobby where no services are provided.
