We booked a triple room but there was only a king bed and they asked us for additional fee for the very small additional bed. The hotel room is nice but maybe needs a renewal, I guess this is common for Hotels in central areas of HK

The hotel is located in a nice area, if you do not mind walking, it is possible to access the city without necessarily using a taxi. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, the staff was helpful. There is also an outdoor pool and it is open until 11 pm, great to have a swim. Breakfast was excellent although it is quite expensive so it is best to get it included in the price of the room. It had a hug variety of food and drinks, probably one of the best breakfasts I have seen in a hotel.

Overall, the hotel is quite old fashioned, the style is really old, the room and bathroom design is also old fashioned and a could certainly be freshened up. I expected something a lot more contemporary and modern especially when you consider the room rate, I thought it was way too expensive for the type of room that we were provided with. The photos do look much better than reality for both the hotel facilities and rooms. Be aware that also on the day of check in you will be asked to put down a 4000 HKD deposit which is again quite high in comparison to other hotels I have stayed in the past. Room service, food, drinks are also way too expensive in my opinion. For instance, a small bowl of berries ( which was supposed to come with coconut and brown sugar ) was 130 HKD. The bowl came, without coconut, without brown sugar and was a small mix of strawberries, a few blueberries and perhaps 3 raspberries... The following day, no coconut, no brown sugar, no raspberries but same price. It is not a hotel I would go back to as I did not think it was value for money and for the price of the room, I would prefer to look at somewhere more modern.
