Hotel Colón Barcelona

Fantastisk og sentral beliggenhet midt i gamle bydelen i Barcelona. Vidunderlig utsikt til katedralen. Utmerket utgangspunkt for å oppleve mest mulig av Barclonas sjarme på kort tid. Beliggenhet som gir både kultur og shopping. Overraskende stille om natten og godt lydisolert rom. Meget hyggelig og imøtekommende personale overalt.

Hotellet hadde ikke internet og kunne ikke hjelpe til å få printet ut nødvendige reisedokumenter for hjemreisen.

Utmerket beliggenhet, og flott service fra de ansatte.

The location was excellent, near to transportation in Placa Catalunya and busy shopping streets

The internet was intermittent, at best. The room was warm and unable to cool since the air conditioning was not available and opeining the windows unveiled a noisy street beneath.

Location is perfect for a tourist trip to Barcelona.

Staff on front desk a mix of effectiveness from excellent to bad. Some of the younger personnel on front desk clearly not happpy working in the hotel trade.

PERFECT LOCATION FOR THE GOTHIC QUARTER

WITHIN EASY WALKING DISTANCE OF EVERYTHING IN THE GOTHIC QUARTER. A NICE, CLEAN HOTEL WITH A SIDE WALK CAFE' FACING THE CATHEDRAL. WHILE WE WERE THERE A FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL TOOK PLACE RIGHT OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR. THE HOTEL WAS QUIET DESPITE BEING IN THE HEART OF ACTIVITY. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY.

The location is excellent -- close enough to the subway lines and main thoroughfares (for taxis); excellent access to the Catedral and Ramblas; directly next to excellent shopping; and in a safe/open part of the barrio.Within the hotel, it was nice they had free cable internet in each room.

The bedroom linens were old/dingy. The bathroom needed better lighting.

The view of the Cathedral was magnificent. A great location. Easy access to cultural and social activities as well as shopping.
