Pine Cliffs Hotel, a Luxury Collection Resort, Algarve

Flott hotell og hotellområdet. Gode bassenger. Bodde i en juniorsuite som var lekker og moderne med stor terrasse. Sengene var gode.

Frokostsalen var bråkete og kantinepreget. For oss som ikke hadde 1/2 pensjon var utvalget av serveringssteder (hvis du ikke ville ha buffet) svært begrenset. Servicen på restaurantene kunne vært bedre.

We expected better impression from Luxury Collection hotel. It is still Sheraton... - service: lazy, but polite staff, very few of them available (sometimes there is no one at all on reception and in the main hall. Or no one responding on the call for 3-5 mins, or no one on the beach or near swimming pools etc.), 5 EUR per room service (your spoon felt down, need new? Yes - 5 EUR per visit. And they will take it away tomorrow...), also they are very slow and you always need to remind. We had a serious problem during reservation (baby accommodation). Only second manager gave us a real compensation. First one was just talking for 2 days... - restaurants. Especially Jakuza. We felt like we have been robbed. Persuasive service and enormous prices. Disgusting food. Some so called “author cuisine” which is very faraway from tasty Japanese one. 2 days there were several spoiled products on the breakfast. (Orange juice and cheese). Fried eggs are overroasted, tomatoes are immature etc - very cold swimming pools. Same t as ocean has. They have been built 20+ years ago and heating was not implemented. But because of that they are almost empty ;-) - 217 room is near unloading zone where smts loud work could start before 9 am (trucks beeping, heavy unloading machines are working etc) - bad sun umbrellas with a strange construction (very small shadow). You need to pay for the first line of sun beds.

Location

If You want to relax in quite it is not hotel for You especially in high season. In this hotel were children and some elderly people. This is hotel for families not for couples.
